Habit Burger & Grill

After driving in insane traffic, I gave up. I wanted a break. I wanted something I was craving and just some relaxation and respect. I was out with my son, and we were just over rude drivers and all the chaos. I reflected on an easier time and how he, his sister and I would go to Fuddruckers on San Fernando in Burbank and I'd get them their plates and by special request for myself, an all veg sandwich on a good brioche bun. How hard is that? Nothing fancy. I approached the counter, greeted by Deanna. I noticed her manager, I assumed by the difference in his attire, was working close by. I was honest. I told her, this is what I want, I just want a big, fat veggie sandwich on a good bun w thousand Island and my son a double charburger. She was so patient with me- even though I was a bit frazzled. I thought, if this works out, I better get the app- We'll come back!!! She was so kind and Sergio took over on the other register, as to not keep others waiting. We were desperate for a break and understanding. I got a special intro deal, the food was above expectations, beverages perfect and truly, truly reset us. Thank you so much for amazing service, Deanna and Sergio. As a longtime restaurant manager and consultant, I was giving up hope. 😄 Thank you for restoring my faith in restaurants in our area, to show consideration and hospitable service. Props to kitchen staff for doing it right!

I’ve ordered a grilled chicken sandwich without bacon multiple times from this location. The past 3 times there has been bacon inside of my sandwich. The receipt of the bag has no bacon written on it and then there is bacon in the sandwich. It’s complete carelessness and I let it go the last two times but three times in a row is a lack of care.

The food isn't bad. The burgers are very similar to in and out, but with a bit less flavor. The fries are fresh but also kind of bland. And while it comes off as a less good version of in and Out it's also somehow significantly more expensive. I paid almost 20 dollars for a double cheeseburger combo. For that price there are much better options available to eat. To top it all off the customer service is very bad. The short lady at the register was very rude to me when I asked if there was Mayo on the burger. It's also one of these places that expects you to tip the cashier for talking to you for 30 seconds. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone.

I’ve never been denied a water cup because I didn’t buy fries with ONE of my THREE BURGERS but “this time” she would let me slide. The cashier was very rude and condescending! I’ve been to many habits, it’s my favorite burger chain and I’ll NEVER go back to this location.

Food depend sometimes ok and sometimes not. Service the last time wasnt ok, manager was rude and mean and he told his cashier to end the transaction and refused to sell me the food. Complained to the corporate and unfortunately no action taken.

We enjoyed fresh food and most importantly great customer service..Thank you But after started charging for any sauce and prices bumped up, my kids even resist to go! We are asking the management to reconsider for charges for Ranch and other sauces. Food

I just received my order from Uber eats. The order was cold and wrong, I specifically requested no onions and added cheese. The food arrived and both charburgers had onions and no cheese. This is the third time my order was wrong from this location. Will never order from this location again.

If you want to spend $20 on a meal that comes with cold fries and they arent willing to refill the soda machine then the habit is for you. Word of advice. Go to shake shack, 5 guys, in n out, or anywhere but here. Waste of money. I spent $20 dollars on an experience that was subpar at best

Used to come here a lot, however, from now on never will. On 29th of May, 2024 around 10 pm I ordered 3 full combos for 3 people including 3 fries with burgers, 1 onion rings plus 1 salad. The worst manager ever told me that for 60$ 3 full orders he can provide only 2 ranches. I told him that there are 3 of us, and it is unethical to share ranch dipping for different people and asked for 3rd ranch for 3rd person. The aweful manager (male) rejected me, stating that I need to pay for 3rd ranch. I didnt pay for it, just out of fraustration and principles. Shame on u small mustage imbicile. For your 50 cent runch get this negative comment from local guide. Shame on u again...

I usually order to go. A couple of weeks ago, an onion ring was missing from my order for six people. I discovered this when I got home, but I didn t want to drive 4 miles back to the store, especially since I couldn t prove it was missing. The reason Im writing this review today is because I was told that they need to charge me 60 cents for a cup of ranch. This surprised me because its not listed on their menu, and I had already paid a 10% tip when ordering. I used to frequent Habit often, but this will be my last visit to the Burbank location. It was a big mistake for me to leave a tip for a take out.

I was cold, and I thought I would warm up inside, but there the air conditioner blows on you everywhere, I think people should be protected from the direct flow of cold air, it is better to direct it towards the wall or up.

The manager George is unprofessional unethical very rude I was served very cold and undercooked vegan burger and I went to the store and I told him about it and he said that he can only refund me 50% of the money I told him can you give me a gift card so I can redeem it later he said go to corporate and he laughed he shouldnt be working at any place especially as a manager Vegetarian options: The burger was undercooked it was cold and it also gave me diarrhea

EDIT: My assistant lost the food, found it in her car. They did give it to us. changing my review. They still gave us the wrong sauces and were a bit rude but were right, they did give her those orders. ORIGINAL Worst experience ordering food Ive ever had in my career. Placed an online order for 7 people. Called to verify the order and assign names to order. My assistant picked up food. 3 of 7 meals were not in the order she was given. Called immediately to have orders ready when she went back. Would not give us the food when she arrived despite photos of the food we ordered. Very rude.Very unhelpful.

It was my first burger experience after countless onion rings, and Roasted Brussels sprouts Indulgences. The Portobello burger with garlic aioli did not disappoint. I shall return for the way that it hit my palate on every level, front back, and side 2 side.

Given the choice between this Habit and the one in North Hollywood on Lankershim, Id pick this one every time because 1) they always get my order right) and 2) they offer curbside pickup. Makes a big difference when youve got kids in tow. Seating is decent: a mix of booths and tables and theres patio seating, too. Parking can be tight but not impossible. Staff is friendly - if I could change one thing Id put more into keeping the restrooms clean - the floors get a little grimy and slippery - but at least there are two of them. Kid-friendliness: My kids live on their french fries & chicken bites.

I want to start by saying I live close by and order from here frequently, both in person, curbside, and UberEats. I am giving them 4 stars for a specific reason and I hope management takes notice. At some point over a year ago, until now it seems it has become the norm, if not policy, to not include drinks with child meal orders. Mainly for UberEats orders, probably because they know they can get away with it, but the other day for curbside pickup they only gave one drink for the 2 kids meals I ordered. This happens probably 80% of the time. So to management: if this is not policy, please train your staff and either discipline and/or incentivize doing their job correctly. Theres nothing worse as a consumer than to pay for something and be robbed...theres nothing worse as a parent who just ordered their kids food than an upset kid who didnt get their apple juice or lemonade with their meal. The occasional missing gummy snack is bad enough, but the drinks is unforgivable to them.

First. A lady clearly with mental problems was sitting inside yelling and cursing . Second. I ordered double cheese burger, no pickles, raw onion and they give the OPPOSITE! grilled onion & pickles. I went to the habit, and I ordered a barbecue chicken salad. I ve been going to the habit since it opened and that is what I always buy. There s no cheese no corn and no onion ring strings. I went inside to complain, and the guy tells me they don t put corn or cheese or onion ring strips on the salad. I even showed him the ingredients from their menu. Still, they don t give me what I requested. What is wrong with these restaurants I m paying you. It s my money and I want what you say you re gonna give me. You look at me like I m crazy. What is wrong with you people! Never again!

I dont think Ive ever had a restaurant mess up an order as much as these guys. Burgers either items that were to be removed, or they were missing items to add. The receipt taped to the bag was correct, but almost everything was wrong. Even items that cost extra to add were missing. Burgers were also poorly wrapped and slipping out of the wrapping. There were some napkins, but every single one was thoroughly soaked since each one was individually layered between the food items. Should have just gone to McDonalds.

This branch is different from any other branches that I have ever gone to. They are so fast at preparing orders. I ordered a double charburger with fries online, and it was ready 4 minutes later. Both food and customer service were amazing.

I hate to Rate The Habit like this because I used to eat at the Original one on Patterson in Goleta but it was terrible. My Cheeseburger was overcooked like a a piece of Leather and my Onion Rings were way overcooked also and cold. I took it to go and had to throw most of it out.
