Sliders Bakery and Ice Cream Factory

I recently visited Sliders Bakery and Ice Cream and had a pleasant experience overall. The ice cream was tasty and definitely a step above a typical ice cream shop, though not the best I’ve ever had. They don’t offer samples of the ice cream, which was a bit disappointing. Thankfully, I enjoyed the banana pudding ice cream I chose.

I was surprised that it wasn’t busy at 7 PM on a 90° summer evening, but it was nice not having to wait to be served. The girl behind the counter was nice and helpful. The pricing seemed a bit steep, with $9 for a double scoop and $1 for a cone. Charging $1 for a cone was a first for me. A single scoop was $5.

While I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again, if I were in town and nearby, I’d definitely consider stopping by for another treat.

Went here on a whim after searching dessert spots while in Burbank. I most definitely will be coming back to try more of the ice cream flavors and various baked goods. I got a single scoop of the Southern Banana pudding which was creamy, smooth, and not at all overpowering or artificial tasting. I also tried the oatmeal toffee chocolate chip cookie which was also delicious and not overly sweet. Very nice treat 👌

One of my favorite ice cream shops! Super friendly staff, delicious tasting treats, and a great old town vibe about the shop. We tried their ice cream, 2 types of cinnamon rolls, and cookies. 10/10 overall, would definitely recommend!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The ice cream is great if a bit pricy but isn't everything nowadays? I'm not a fan of overly sweet ice cream. The coffee and peanut butter were great choices. I took the suggestion of peanut butter and chose coffee since it is one of my favorite flavors. The peanut butter wasn't too sweet and the flavor was strong without being overly so. The coffee was better with the sweet level since the bitterness helps cut it down.

Love Sliders and I can't believe I haven't left a review after all the times we've visited! Love the nostalgic decor and the staff as well as the homemade ice cream! You have to stop in at least once every season because the flavors are seasonal and DELICIOUS!! WE LOVE SLIDERS! You can also purchase homemade goodies and treats! They have all kids of pies, cake pops, cookies, Chicken Pot Pie and you can take home pints of their delicious ice cream in bulk! They also have baked goods that you can prepare at home, too, like Chocolate Chip Cookies! The ice cream here is really quality and I truly love it.. I hadn’t visited in a while and forgot they don’t offer testers (which is fine, but a lil stingy imo) .. my issue is that if you don’t offer testers, staff need to be well versed in the flavor profile. I asked about one in particular and the worker had not tried it. They said if I didn’t like it then they would make me a new one.. I feel like that defeats the purpose and is a little wasteful. Besides this, again… the ice cream is great and the atmosphere is awesome! :) I will be a customer as long as I live close- but just wanted to give that feedback!

I was really disappointed in my last visit here. Talk about shrinkflation! For $5 I got what looked like a sample cup size scoop. When they first opened it was $3 for a normal sized cup/scoop. Great ice cream but incredibly overpriced for what you get there now. Also, this is the first time I have seen this shop completely dead with no line. Maybe others are not patronizing this place for the same reason.

I love this place. It has a nostalgic feel and the ice cream flavors are always unique and rotating (they still have some classic flavors if you have picky kiddos). I went on a first date here- and now we are engaged! So definitely some magic in that ice cream. They recently had a wedding cake flavor that was to die for as well, appropriately timed for our engagement. 10/10

Came here on a whim around 5pm during the heat wave and was surprised to see it wasn't busy. They don't offer samples, which is a bit disappointing, but I enjoyed the scoop of mint ice cream I chose, which tasted amazing! The texture almost reminds me of Coldstone's; creamy and thick. The one scoop plus a cookie on the side came out to $7 even. Street parking was easy on a Sunday afternoon.

Great ice cream and cookies. The flavors change regularly, so I can't recommend any specific one. The cookie flavors change also. You can have a cookie sandwich, or a cup, or waffle cone for your ice cream. A hole-in-the wall place. I didn't see any seating (but it was near closing time), so expect to stroll and eat, or take out.

Service was excellent and the presentation of everything was great! But was surprised to hear that you cannot sample any of the ice cream. I ended up getting one that was just okay. And the cookie I got was certainly not bad but it wasn’t incredibly fresh. I will definitely try again but my first experience wasn’t the best taste wise

Super yummy ice cream and treats here! It’s painfully hard to choose which flavor or two to get. Their cones taste really fresh! We got the cookie attacks creme and the raspberry noire, which were delicious. Definitely want to get the banana pudding next time, it looked so good! The young lady working there today was so friendly and kind!

So many options! Rotating ice cream flavors, pies, ice cream “tacos,” cookies to make into ice cream sandwiches. And all made in-house. The person working there was really genuine and passionate about the shop which made the experience even more pleasant.

Only downside is no samples allowed. I had the cookies & cream one and it was a tiny bit icy but good overall.

On a business trip and like to find new places to try. The employee was great very helpful. Good flavor of ice cream, you can get just ice cream. A cookie or you can make it and ice cream sandwich. I did by the red velvet and strawberry matcha cinnamon rolls they were a little dry for my taste but the cream cheese frosting was great. I got a cookie and warmed it up was very good great flavor a little sweet but it was a chocolate marshmallow peanut butter cookie.

Really great desserts! The cookies are incredible. The naked cookie is my absolute favorites. My only critique is that everything is very expensive. Their teeny tiny 3 inch pies are upwards of 12-14$ and they can only satisfy 1 person. Good to keep in mind if you’re bringing a family or large group.

This is one of the greatest ice cream places in LA. Glad to see they are doing so well and have really upped the Defoe inside. The flavours are amazing and fresh. I think $9 for 2 scoops is pretty outrageous, even if it is crazy good.

We were so excited to eat this ice cream that we forgot to take photos! This was a solid place to get a treat. The ice creams are packed with toppings and there are some fun different flavors. I wouldn't consider myself the biggest ice cream person but I was definitely impressed with Sliders and would come back when on that side of town.

Over the top ice cream and cookies!

I got the campfire s’mores ice cream between a Fudge cookie paired with a s’mores cookie. Everything was fantastic!

If you end up getting a slider combo like I did, I’d recommend you get it in a cup!
They normally wrap it in parchment paper and it’s not exactly the best for catching the ice cream as it melts.

I’d define my go back to try more!

This place is awesome. The Bourbon Apple Pie is an amazing twist on a classic and their custom drumsticks are insane! I just tried Dad Bod I don’t know what kind of stoner genius came up with this recipe but it’s unbelievably good. Be careful, some of their fruitier ice cream flavors can be a little too sweet. But all in all this place rocks! My wife and I get a pie here as well as some drumsticks once a month or so not to mention every family gathering. We are always happy with it 😋😋😋

I love their handmade ice cream. Every flavor has been delicious and I would have given a five star but they never have the lavender ice cream which was the reason I started going there. Must be amazing. Don’t go there expecting that you will be able to sample flavors, they are a small shop, not 31 flavors. Support your local business. Try sliders.

The employee that worked the night that we visited was knowledgeable and friendly. The ice cream was WAY too sugary. My “cotton candy” ice cream was just pink dyed vanilla, with pieces of white chocolate pieces embedded with cotton candy pop rocks. Cool idea, but maybe not executed correctly.

The pie that we bought (Dutch crust raspberry peach) had phenomenal crust, but the filling was like eating a chunk of sugar flavored with raspberries and peaches.

Overall, too much sugar, not much substance.

OMG!!! So good. The ice cream is soooo good. This was my first time going to Sliders Bakery, and I must say I am very pleased. There were so many tasty choices I couldn't pick, so I asked the young man who was working for a recommendation, and I'm happy I did. I got the peach cobbler ice cream with a snickerdoodle cookie and a butter cookie. The cinnamon from the cookie with the peaches from the ice cream omg. The peach cobbler crust in the ice cream😋 Everything was sweet but not too sweet. Good customer service and good dessert. I will be back.

Adorable Scrumptious ice cream shop with excellent customer service. Very nice, patience young people working. No seating inside. Street parking available. They offer a variety of ice cream/ cookie sandwiches/milk shakes creations on their menu. We customize two ice cream sandwiches and bought 6 cookies to go. The ice cream is really good made with real milk, it’s so creamy and rich. The vanilla and cookie dough are both must try flavors. Omg the glazed donut, butterfinger and birthday cake batter cookies are extraordinary!!! All cookies and brownies are freshly made in house. Overall positive experience, will definitely return in the future.reasonable prices, nice portion sizes.

Icky-sweet ice cream with a strange taffy-like consistency. No taste of real banana, more like lemon actually. Normally I would give a place with such good reviews a 2nd chance, but my friend also thought her ice cream had an artificial taste and was "just too much" as far as sugar content. Yes I know , it's ice cream it's supposed to be sweet, but real cream and milk cuts down on the sweetness....this was more like candy.

Fabulous treats and wonderful customer service. It was fun to try the ice cream cookie sandwich aka the slider and the brownie ice cream sandwich once, but we personally couldn't finish it and saved the rest for later. Everything was delicious and we can't wait to try more of their unique cookies and ice cream flavors. Next time we each plan to get one scoop of ice cream in a cup with a cookie on the side. Street parking is easy to find nearby.

Just had the absolute best experience at Sliders. My boyfriend and I went in to try what they had on a random friday evening, and left eating possibly the best ice cream we ever had. The owner helped us out and was super genuine and passionate about the quality and flavors of his desserts. Never have I ever had such a smooth mint ice cream and rich tasting chocolate. My boyfriend, a picky eater, would typically stay with a chocolate ice cream but ended up trying a new flavor called “smoke & oil” which had caramel, sea salt, and a smoky chocolate taste; and he was in love with it. We had the opportunity to try their cookies and pies which were super yummy too! You need to try this place! Drop the ice cream chains and basic ice cream shops and go to Sliders :) (you wont regret it—ps. We will be back soon!)

Delicious and unique choices! My slider had 2 different cookies. Scooby snax on top and snickerdoodle on bottom. The southern banana pudding was bold in flavor and the texture was devine.
I went back to try birthday cake batter and raspberry noir on a cone and those were amazing!

Best customer service I've ever received!! This place makes their own ice cream and all of their desserts in house!! How awesome is that. They also have very unique and delicious flavors so be sure to call and ask which ones they have for the day. Check this place out if you're craving something sweet :)

I was in town for a short trip to visit a friend. She brought me here straight from the airport, which will now have to be a mandatory tradition. Never have I felt more seen than when ordering one of the gianormous yummy brownies, the owner immediately asked if I wanted "an edge, corner, or center." CENTER OF COURSE & OH MY GOSH THANK YOU!!! Really wish I lived here...although that might be bad for my waistline as well as my wallet.

Stopped in 10 minutes before closing and were welcomed with a bright “welcome” like we were their favorite customers. Took time to give us the “sliders” breakdown, from ice creams flavor combinations to the varieties of cookies of the day. Outstanding customer service was just the beginning. Our ice cream selections were a hit! Every flavor was delicious!!! We wanted to say, “thank you for the great first time experience and we will be back to visit again!”

I went to this place sometime 2 years ago just before the pandemic. I live in another state now but I think about this place all the time. The s’mores cookie was amazing and the ice cream was delicious and flavorful. Glad to see they are still in business and I will be returning here as soon as I come back to California.

Amazing place! So unique, and definitely a strong nostalgic feeling! The cookies and ice cream are SO GOOD. I recommend any of the cookies and the Potter's Butterbeer ice cream. The staff are so nice!

I love this shop. It gives a homy feel when I go inside and the owner is so sweet. I love how you have different options and cookies and pies and the shop is so cute. Im so happy this place was added to Burbank.

Mmm... That honey lavender ice cream is amazing. The family also had mint, smoke and oil, and butter beer - said they were all tasty, though the butter beer is super sweet. Cookie for tomorrow. Prices were not bad at all. $4 for a single scoop. $2 for a giant cookie.

The ice cream is delicious, the taste of Thai tea is delicious. I recommend the place, the price is little high.

Oh my God! Every bite of their pies and ice cream is amazingly surprising. They craft a narrative with their deserts. Can't wait to try all the pies.
