Today was my first visit to Centanni. I came for lunch with a colleague from work. While the restaurant is in an odd location, (difficult to get to from northbound Victory), i had no problem parking. Business was slow in the restaurant this particular day. Our waiter was friendly and informative. The table had a nice presentation with cloth for table and napkins. The menu pricing seemed reasonable. They even had a few daily special dishes at lunch. I had the Ossobuco with risotto special and my colleague had the Branzino with vegetables special.
I have to say my Ossobuco was and risotto were pretty good. My friend enjoyed his fish. I didn't take pictures since it was a work lunch but I will say the presentation was nice and the portion of food was relatively generous.
I will definitely be looking for an opportunity to come back for dinner.

I've lived down the street from Centanni for five years. Shamefully I tried it for the first time tonight. It was incredible! Everything was delicious. I'm kicking myself for not going sooner. I can't wait to try more and more of the menu. I know it won't disappoint.

We took our friend here to celebrate his birthday because his brother recommended this place. The parking is very limited but I was lucky enough to get a spot where the exit was so if there none then you'll have to park on the street. I made reservations on OpenTable ahead of time. We got there early so I checked in with the host (i think shes the owner or manager) and she seated us right away, she was very polite. It took our waiter like 25 minutes for him to come take our drinks order and appetizer. We got the Garlic Bread and truffle fries, I also ordered a Sprite. When my sprite came, there was no bubbles and basically looked like water. So when I drank it, it was of course flat and my friend got a Dr. Pepper which was also flat. We let the waiter know and he said he's aware of it but there nothing he could do beside taking it off the check for us so we told him ok. The Garlic Bread came out and I thought it was just okay but the truffle fries was amazing and I don't like truffle. For my entrée I got the Bistecca New York Steak and asked for double regular fries as my side. The waiter didn't ask how I would like my meat done so I had to tell him that I wanted medium rare. When my steak came out, I was highly disappointed because it had no flavor (no taste of salt or crushed pepper). I think they expect the special sauce to be used on it but I didn't like the sauce taste so it was pretty bad. My friend asked for a Margherita Pizza but we got instead a White Pizza which was okay but not that good. The waiter did however give our friend a nice dessert with a candle since he knew we were celebrating a birthday. He also charge us for the soda drinks even though he said he wouldn't take it off but I didn't want to dispute it.
Service: It was pretty slow, I understand with staffing shortage and having only 1 waiter but the place wasn't busy.
Food: It wasn't the best especially my dish and my friends didn't enjoy theirs as well.
Indoor Venue: The inside is nicely decorated and can fit a decent amount of guest.
Parking: Very limited, especially if someone parked badly then you might get stuck.

Absolutely loved this place! Our server, Dez, could not have been more lovely, friendly and gracious. The food was fantastic; highly recommend the calamari, bruschetta, Caprese, and mushroom papardelle. The wine selection was great. Prices reasonable. Ambiance good. I highly recommend this place!

Very friendly staff. I like that they have parking right in front of the restaurant.
The ambience and Decor was nice. Our waiter was friendly, but didn't check on us as much as I would have liked. I loved my spinach salad, my husband thought the lobster bisque was average. He really liked his chicken marsala. My mozzarella panini, wasn't exactly a panini it was a cold sandwich on toasted bread. But it was still good, just not what I expected. The creme brulee chocolate dessert was very good.
Great variety of menu.

This is one of our favorite spots. I love the salmone farfalle. Yum! My GF and I decided to go last night without a reservation. The co-owner greeted us and was very nice. She gave us a table right away even though they were a bit crowded. She explained it may take about 20 minutes for the food to arrive as the kitchen was slammed. I told her no problem and I would have the red cab wine with bread while we waited. She came back immediately with our wine and bread. The waiter came and took our order right away. It was about 25 minutes later and our food arrived. I had the salmone farfalle and my gf had lasagna. The waiter forgot to ask if we wanted Parmesan cheese but once we asked, he came back immediately and grated some on our food. The dishes were delicious and we could taste the cheeses and sauce melt in our mouths. ( we tasted each other’s entrees). We also had garlic cheese bread and we loved it. To top it off we finished with the Crème Brûlée . Delicious! The restaurant did not disappoint us and we had another great experience. Only thing is the parking lot is small and the wait may take long but when our dishes arrived it was worth the wait. The place is clean and classy. Many families were enjoying dinner. They also have a small bar. We had taken pictures of our food but it would not do justice as we had already taken bites of it because we could not wait to taste it.. lol

This is good Italian food for Los Angeles. Small average space but typically available. Enjoy!

Excellent food and great service. Corkage for 2 bottles (on a Tuesday night) was more than the entrees and that came as a surprise (yes I should have asked). Many restaurants do not charge to open a bottle or it is much less than $25 per bottle. I eat out a lot and this would discourage me from coming back.

This smaller size restaurant does a nice job with good Italian food. The chicken parmesan has a nice crispy breading, and a good red sauce. It was served with mixed vegetables and spaghetti. But unlike every other chicken parm I've had before, this one was served with spaghetti that didn't have a red sauce but was olive oil, garlic and cheese. It was good but not what I expected. The cannoli were really good, though. The shells were crispy, obviously freshly filled. If you are looking for a good Italian dinner and great cannoli, check it out.

It was about half full and the noise level was pleasant, music was not too loud, and the "slide show" on the monitors at either end of the larger room flashed interesting somewhat nostalgic pictures. Servers were all friendly. Food came out piping hot. Pasta portions were large. Parking lot was just big enough for the number of people there, but there was abundant street parking too.

The food was great, but they could have given me dry oats in a bucket and I still would come back. The slideshow captivated our party for hours. Forty-five minutes into the slideshow, a timid gen alpha threw her fists into the air and cheered “THE HINDENBURG” with such ferocity that the entire dining room fell silent, yet everyone seemed to resonate with her passion. There were photos of Michael Jackson, followed by a self immolating monk, followed by a photo of a dachshund in a hot dog bun, followed by a quote from a famous child murdered on appropriate prison sentencing. We were riveted to our core. I don’t know who made this slideshow, but hats off, their brain is one of a kind.

Celebrated a double birthday here and had a great experience. Wait time for the food was a little long but other than that the food was great ! I had a mushroom risotto and it was so good. As an appetizer I had the heirloom tomato with burrata and prosciutto; I normally hate tomatoes but this dish was heavenly !!! To finish off the night they brought out a free tiramisu slice for our birthday guest, best tiramisu I’ve had in a while. Great place and will come back again.

Location : Easy and convenient.
Vibe : Cozy and relaxing.
Food : Fresh ingredients, Well Seasoned and very yummy.
Service : My husband and I went there on Valentine’s Day.We got seated on the back side and the whole entire sections has about 20 tables or more and they only have 2 server running the whole thing. After my server took the ordered he came back twice to let us know the food running late and to get my ice tea refilled ,After that non of us has never seen him since,Many customers tried to get a checks and leave but we’re all been waiting and waiting and then start talking to each other,So one of the customers got up and tell some staff who was at front that all of us had been waiting to get a check and ready to go home.Once we got a check we still waiting for a while until we get our cards back.I totally understand that they are packed but add more servers would help the service go faster.
Will we go back? Definitely! But we would try on the not busy day to see what’s going on though.

The food is about a 4.2, great but not 5 star worthy. The service was good, but not great. I say good because my brother in law had ordered another glass of wine and it took longer than normal, 5 minutes would have been okay, but 15 minutes is too long. My husband had the lasagna and it was good, but like I said not great. I have 2 other reviews of Italian places that have amazing lasagna. My salmon pasta was tasty, rich in flavor, so I had enough for a good left over meal. If asked, I would go back.

I’d like to start to say I was very disappointed in our dinner at Centanni Trattoria ,we had reservations for over 10 days and when we got there they treated us like we were just walk ins. They seated Us in the bar, and we had our nine year old son with us. I mentioned to the hostess/might’ve been the manager or the owner, not sure? That it was my wife’s birthday and she said let me see if we have a table but I had told her we had a reservation under my wife’s name,I went an looked if the dining room was full and it wasn’t. There were tables and booths available, and we both had looked at the website and were really looking forward the the whole Italian dinner experience in a really nice Italian restaurant with Italian waiters offering us different wines telling us about the meal, and when I asked waitress if she could tell me more about the Bistecca ,she said it’s a steak, I said I understand that, but I don’t know what that is an how do I pronounce the word Bistecca ,that sounds interesting. Can you tell me about it and she said it’s a steak. and it was a $30 steak,an since I did not know anything about this Bistecca and the waitress obviously didn’t know what it really was either. I said I’ll have the lasagna and they placed our order after a few minutes, I believe we have had our salads and the first order of garlic bread , when the bartender/waitress came to take our neighbor table order, she started to take their order and I heard one of the ladies say is there any specials and the bartender/waitress. said oh yeah and kind of pointed to this giant chalkboard, that’s when my wife and I said their specials? and we turned and looked and there was like three items that we were interested in but did not see them on the menu. The bartender/waitress never asked us or told us about the specials or pointed to the board wile taking our order , my wife really loves lobster bisque she loves lobster raviolis and she loves stuffed lobster tails and it was her birthday so she could’ve ordered anything or all of those items.. we eat our food. My son did not like the lasagna one bit because it wasn’t yellow and red like he is a custom to. I told him it was very very good very meaty and cheesy and just really really good but he could not get past the way it looked and tasted, so we ordered him a bowl of spaghetti with red sauce. He enjoyed it, but I was kind of taken back when I saw the spaghetti on the bill,it’s just a handful of spaghetti and a splash of red sauce. but I paid for it and took his lasagna home and I will eat it for lunch on Christmas day with the garlic bread which was very very good and I loved the lasagna. My wife loved the raviolis with the New York steak in them. They were fabulous……. This is my second draft of my review because when We got home from the meal, we both agreed that it wasn’t really the experience we were led to believe by the website and I thought it would be best if we gave a review an honest review, and when we read it, it seemed like we were really picky and being petty so I deleted my first review. Then as I laid in bed thinking about opening presents with my family on Christmas morning there was something bothering me and I just cannot go to sleep. It was the fact that my wife was really looking forward to a real honest to goodness Italian meal for her birthday on Christmas Eve,and She didn’t get that. I get it we were first timers to this fine establishment but the fact that we had a reservation and I mentioned to the hostess that it was my wife’s birthday, and we were very excited and looking forward to enjoyed some good Italian food.but They still just sat us in the bar. The bartender was our waitress. It was kind of disappointing when we were looking forward to the full dining experience that their website portrays. Maybe will try it again someday, but I doubt it.

The food is delicious. The lobster bisque is exceptional, and the pasta is perfectly al dente. This time the service was unfortunately below average. We had to ask for the bread and he never brought it. We had to ask someone else. We ordered the tomato with prosciutto and he put in the order wrong. It came with no prosciutto. We had to ask for it.

Loved the special, filet of sole in a butter-lemon-garlic sauce, fresh cooked spinach, all on top of a bed of creamy mashed potatoes. The calamari appetizer was tasty as well. The only issue I had was how noisy it got after 8pm, on a Friday, a large birthday party group arrived and sat next to us, which made it a bit difficult to enjoy the quiet ambiance we had before they arrived, otherwise I enjoyed my meal immensely.

The Lobster Bisque is amazing and the bread that comes with it is heavenly. However, it is just on special so if it is on the board. GET IT!
Got us the Risotto di Funghi, the Lasagna, Filet of sole, and the eggplant Parmigiano. Have to get some pasta on the side since it did not come with pasta which is very surprising. So an additional cost on top of your entree price of $20-30, about an extra $8.00 for the side, not a big amount but just be aware.
Everything is delicious but the sides of pastas add up and the entree prices is a bit high. A good place for italian for sure but don't come here too often, your wallet will not like you.

We liked this place, but if the food was slightly better or the prices more reasonable we would definitely give it 5 stars. We added salmon to our pasta dish and it was cooked very well, but not seasoned at all. So it felt out of place in the dish.
The sauted shrimp appetizer was good, but the shrimp didn't taste fresh, but recently thawed maybe?
The bruschetta was amazing though and so was our server Thomas.

Silky mashed potatoes and steamed veggies (not a single branch of my broccoli was over cooked). BRAVO to the chef. Hostess is lively and inviting and the service was top notch and easily accessible.

A delicious casual Italian dinner in Burbank. Tonight was my first time dining here and it was a pleasant experience. They have a lot of great options on the menu, as well as a few specials, the portion sizes are very large, and the prices are fair. Parking is available on site right in front of the restaurant but the lot is very small so if someone parks poorly it will take over a quarter of the spaces, which happened to me tonight while looking for parking. Luckily street parking is really easy in the area because it is bordering a neighborhood so the very worst you’d have to walk would be a block. Our server Michelle was also really polite and attentive.
I started off with the marinated artichoke salad and it was very light and tasty. For my entrée I chose a special from the board: the filet of Sole. It two was very good and I especially liked how much lemon was in the sauce. The sautéed spinach on the side really allows you to soak up all of the lemon sauce remaining.
Overall a very nice and very casual Italian option. I would recommend to anyone who likes any of those parameters and I plan to be back in the future.

She asked my friend: do you have a reservation? she responded no we dont, the place had 3 tables occupied in the back room, the host said, ok i will give you a table, but we will need it by 7:30pm, we got there at 6pm to have dinner after a long day at work, I wanted to walk out, i guess our hospital scrubs didn't appeal to her, No one else came to dine in, only pick up orders. I think her name was KAREN. As we exited she said thank you for comingggg, in an anoying FAKE voice, she's the blond lady. NEVER GOING BACK THERE.

We were there for a family dinner. The various items everyone chose were very tasty. Not one complaint was whispered. I went with the salmon, potatoes and spinach, and enjoyed every bit of it. I will definitely return to, and recommend, this restaurant.

Came to this place for dinner and had a good experience until the end. The waiter took my bill and didn't came back for my change or my receipt. The total was 101.00 I gave 120.00 taxes came out around 9 and some change. But he had the nerves to keep my change for his tip. This is insane! I was going g to give him a tip anyways, but him the employees to do this for their costumer is not a good idea, doesn't look good on them and the restaurant. Will not recommend and will not ever come again. I do not wish this to happen to anyone else.

The food was great. The service could be improved upon. Our dinner came, as we ate someone sat at the next table over. That person was given bread with oil and vinegar. No biggie, but when their dinner came the waiter asked if they wanted parmesan. We were never asked... I guess "regulars" get the better service

What a surprise find for us. Little cafe in a very small strip mall. Don't let the outside turn you off. Step inside and experience a friendly casual vibe that is further enhanced by the food quality. No fast food - cooked to order. Fair priced menu. Highly recommend chicken picatta and zuppa di ravioli. Wow.... Sauces and preparation perfect. Comfortable seating and ambiance. New go to restaurant when in Burbank.

Excellent food, excellent customer service, affordable prices. The only bad thing is they are closed whenever you are hungry and you need to go somewhere else, very bad working hours because they are closed most of the time.

Definitely my favorite Italian spot in the valley. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, and excellent food. Would specifically recommend the Sole. The only spot for improvement would be better bread.

Delicious! My husband and I went there for the first time for our anniversary. We sat outside with it open and heaters. Social distancing was enforced and I felt very safe. The food was amazing and the staff was super nice and helpful. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.

With outdoor dining allowed again in LA County, decided it was time for a dinner out and Centanni Trattoria did not disappoint. En though the night was cool, placement of the heaters made it comfortable to be sitting outside. Service was excellent with the taste and quality of the food even better. Ordered the Seafood Risotto and Salmone Grigliato. Risotto dish was a very generous portion size and flavor was exquisite. Salmon was grilled perfectly and herb and pepper crust made a perfect flavoring.

We weren't originally planning to go here, however, I am so grateful that we did. The food is AMAZING, the environment is cozy and the staff is so friendly and always smiling. We were treated as though we were regulars. We had the Lasagna, Pesto Gnocchi, Bruschetta and Lobster Bisque and all of it was AMAZING! Can't wait to go back.

Perfect place for lunch or dinner, with friends or business clients. Food is excellent, with many selections hand made in house. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with a sophisticated charm.I have been there numerous times and was never disappointed. Try the handmade shredded steak ravioli with a drizzle of oil.
