Lovely and classy little place tucked in a corner of an unassuming parking lot. They have an extensive list of pizzas and pastas, which made it hard to choose just one! Their 6 hour Bolognese sauce and Pesto spaghetti were both delicious - we'll definitely be back.

If that's not enough, each table is provided with some fresh bread drizzled with olive oil and cheese to get you started, and the service was outstanding (I was provided with a free little dessert to mark my first visit here)!

One of the hidden gems in Burbank. The place is small but they have outdoor seating as well as bar inside. I had ordered chicken piccata and chicken Parmesan. Piccata was fine, but chicken parm was really good.
The butterscotch budino dessert was great too!

And then there’s the food—oh, the food! Every dish is bursting with flavor and prepared with so much care, but what really sets Ma’s apart is their incredible vegan options. I went with my family to MA's and I was pleasantly surprised with the best scampi I've ever eaten. The shrimp was perfectly cooked so it was fresh and soft and full of great flavor with wine and butter and the pasta with it was perfect. One of our family got eggplant parmesan and another one got spaghetti and meatballs, and bruschetta chicken. Chicken was cooked beautifully soft, melts in your mouth. The young kids enjoyed their spaghetti and meatballs and even the garlic bread and knots. For dessert we tried three of them; one was an outstanding chocolate mousse with a little whipped cream on top which you could get with raspberries or not, and we got a Tiramisu and a delicious sweet pistachio cake with a little icing on top. Their garlic bread is amazing! You get lots of little pieces of garlic on it and it's soft bread with the crunchy crust I mean you can't get any better than that. They also gave us garlic knots. The only thing we could say wasn't 100% for us was that the broccoli and carrots vegetable mix was not cooked enough to be softer so we asked for them to make it softer and they did. A server will come around and ask if you want any more freshly grated Parmesan cheese on anything and they give you a lot if you want it . The portions are large. The service is incredible, our waiter was excellent and checked with us every few minutes to make sure everything was fine, they do everything with a smile. It's just impeccable.

I just wish the place was bigger as it's very popular for obvious reasons why every every table got filled up while we were there with people waiting to come in. If you have more than two people I'd say get a reservation, it's a must. This is now my new favorite restaurant I'm so glad we went there. Excellently managed and there's a big parking lot in that shopping center where it's located next to a market, and the freeway. And interestingly enough all the servers are men, and it works great.
If I could ask for one thing they could include in their menu it would be for something like a filet of sole with a wine and garlic sauce. They do have a salmon dish but I don't eat salmon. But I did taste everything we ordered and all of it was delicious.

We returned a week later, last night, and tried some other dishes. The salmon was very good, comes with fresh cooked vegies and pasta. The chicken and orzo soup is the best chicken soup I have had in any restaurant in my entire life, and I am very picky and this one is like what I make at home. I have never praised another chicken soup. The butterscotch budino dessert is delicious. The service is still excellent, Seth was our server who went above and beyond always with a real smile, warmth, eager to help. When we left there were many people waiting to get in. If you have to wait or you get cold easily, bring a warm jacket or sweater. It is worth waiting for.

What an incredible hidden gem in Burbank! Absolutely everything about this place was a 10/10. I had the special of the night, asparagus risotto with pesto, and it was even better than I imagined it would be when I heard the server describe it. Every team member there was so accommodating and welcoming - even to the toddler that was there who was telling everyone that walked past "hi!" - every team member that saw him, went up and said hello themselves. What a wonderful place.

We recently dined at MA's Restaurant and had a delightful experience overall. The highlight of our meal was definitely the pizza—it was absolutely awesome! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It's easily some of the best pizza we've had in a while.

However, we did encounter a couple of hiccups during our visit. The staff seemed a bit slow to respond to our requests, which was a bit frustrating. Additionally, our son's food took much longer to arrive than we expected, causing a bit of a delay in our meal.

Despite these issues, the delicious pizza and the inviting atmosphere made for a lovely evening. We will definitely return, hoping for a smoother experience next time!

MA'S Italian Kitchen

Ma's Italian kitchen. Well, what can I say about this jewel of Italian eatery? We came across it by accident. We were hungry and kind of unfamiliar with the area. And there it was. On Yelp, after searching for something to eat. Ma's Italian kitchen. When we got there. ( My spouse and I). We were greeted very friendly and ( since we asked if they had outside seating) led outside to a nice tent area. A couple of tables with white tablecloths as far as I can recall. It was a while ago. And a few folks sitting outside already. It seemed cozy and comfortable. The waiter, unfortunately, can't recall his name. A very nice, friendly, and attentive guy came shortly after we sat down. Gave us the menus and told us about the specials. Asked us if this was our first time there. Which it was. And asked us what we liked to drink. After some time he came back and we ordered our food. My spouse had vegan lasagna ( my spouse was in awe of how many nice vegan dishes they had). Some side salad. I had a dish of Paste bolognese with salad. We also received some nice warm breads. The dishes truly were OUT OF THIS WORLD! I seriously can say this was by far the best bolognese I had so far from any Italian restaurant! My spouse is a bit hard to lease. Just loved his lasagna. That alone made me thank the mighty food gods out there. LOL But what really stood out and will make us come back, again? Besides the great food, the great service. Was, at the end when we asked for the check. The waiter brought their signature dessert Tiramisu in a glass ( this was the first time for me ever since I came to this country. And I so appreciated it. Because it reminded me of Europe.) It was also topped with a fresh unsweetened whipped cream. This fresh taste is on top. It was so delicious. That dessert certainly is a must-have in the great place. Long story " short" ( LOL) go and try out this place. You will NOT regret it!

This was the best/most authentic Italian food experience I've had in LA. We got a couple pasta dishes and a pizza and they were all great. Place is really small, so reservations are key, but we got to sit on the patio and it was a beautiful day, so being outside was perfect. The water the patio is covered and lined with greenery, you would have no idea you were looking at a supermarket parking lot. Will 100% be back.

From the Welcoming greeting, to the amazing service and some of the BEST Chicken Parmesan's I have ever had! The sauce is Perfect, not a lot of acid, the spaghetti cooked to perfection and the garlic knots! Let’s not forget the amazing desert the Bondi, I can’t stop talking about it , got take out vegan lasagna for my mom . Can’t wait to eat here again!

What an absolute gem of a place! This restaurant is nestled into the corner of a Vons shopping lot, but definitely one not to miss! Our flight home was delayed by several hours so we found Ma’s Italian Kitchen since it was close to the airport. With no reservation, they took fantastic care of us, making a point to help us find the right wine and the perfect meals. Highly recommend this place. Actually looking forward to the next crazy flight delay bc we will skip the junky food at the airport and come here! Find a spot at the bar and you won’t be disappointed. Chicken Parm and the Vegan Bolognese were delicious! Already told all our local friends about it.

What an incredible hidden gem in Burbank! Absolutely everything about this place was a 10/10. I had the special of the night, asparagus risotto with pesto, and it was even better than I imagined it would be when I heard the server describe it. Every team member there was so accommodating and welcoming - even to the toddler that was there who was telling everyone that walked past "hi!" - every team member that saw him, went up and said hello themselves. What a wonderful place.

WOW! What an AMAZING experience. We got the chopped salad, chicken parm, penne vodka (I could eat this everyday), kids penne, and a budino. Portions were large, prices reasonable, and food was just delicious! It’s the kind of place where you aren’t sure what to expect and when you take a bite, you’re like “holy cow! This is so good! We have to come back!” The best part was the SERVICE and STAFF (Hayden and the host were AWESOME). Super friendly, accommodating (we arrived very early for our reservation and they were able to seat us), and they made my husband’s birthday very special. We already have plans to come back next year from SF! Thank you MA’S for being a hidden gem in Burbank and offering such a memorable experience!

I have been here from Seattle for a week in my way back to those airport looked for a great Italian spot… DID not know what I was in for…. This FREAKING MEAL WAS AMAZING!!!
From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by Bruce (easy on the eyes I must say) and seated, I ordered a glass of vino that was the absolute finest! Then I get this arugula salad that was to die for, the entrees were something flavored from Italy 🇮🇹
Absolutely AMAZING. I asked for Chef Isaiah to visit my table he came out was so gracious landed a free dessert FROM SEATTLE TO LA MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT FROM NOW ON!!!

The food was great but the server was really not. We were speaking respectfully but he was not in a good mood and not reciprocative. He was getting annoyed every time we asked for something. He was taking our order for the sake of it.

The manager stepped out and forced us to give a 20% tip regardless of the bad service.
He used abusive detrimental language and spoke very disrespectfully.

Most people working at the restaurant are struggling but we are struggling too, especially as freelancers working in the film industry. If the total bill was 47$ with BAD SERVICE should we really be forced to give a 20% tip?

Unacceptable behavior! The waiter displayed irritation throughout our meal, and the manager verbally berated us over the tip. I will never step foot in this terrible restaurant again. Everything can be dealt with when spoken to with respect, but the manager seems not to know that.

I'm so glad we tried this great little Italian restaurant. The butternut squash began dish was amazing. Their shrimp dishes are amazing. We went for my birthday and then had to again the following week. Make reservations if you're going on the weekend, this place gets packed.

I recently dined at Ma's Italian Kitchen, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! Our server, Seth, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. We ordered the Cacio e Pepe and Penne alla Vodka, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfect, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. To top it off, we had the Butterscotch Budino for dessert, which was simply incredible. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing evening out. The service here is absolutely horrendous. Manager kicked us out for eating longer than an hour at the table and made us finish our wine outside. Extremely fake and rude, I’ve came here about three times now and like clockwork, the staff ends up being rude to us. This is not a cheap place either. My bills are usually around $200+ and they still act like this? Crazy to me.

I’m hestitant to post because I don’t want this place to get too busy to accept my reservations. I would recommend making a reservation as the place is on the cozier side. The food is exceptional and consistent (I get the arugula salad and mushroom ravioli every time). The service is phenomenal and welcoming. The atompsherre is upbeat and cozy. I’ve never eaten on the patio, but it looks cute. Can’t say enough great things about this place. If I have visitors in the area, I always take them here.

As soon as we arrive to this place we automatically felt disrespected my wife and I was sitting down to eat and we had a service dog with us the waiter treated my wife and I and my pet with a rude attitude because my service dog felt more comfortable next to me rather then on the floor when our food arrived it was undercooked and for pasta as a main dish at an Italian restaurant you figure they would cook noodles right but it was not the rude waiter as told me rudely I couldn’t have my service animal on the seat next too me as she felt my tension rising and wanted to calm me down I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemies even the ones I fought against in the Middle East I would give negative stars if possible stay far away everyone

I have always enjoyed dining at this establishment, but my recent visit was incredibly disappointing. We had reservations, but a ginger-haired server rudely insisted we vacate our table for another party who also had reservations. Additionally, we were asked to leave when the restaurant was already running late. There was a complete lack of grace in handling the situation, and it was deeply unprofessional.

To make matters worse, the dessert I used to love, the budino, has significantly declined in quality. Charging $10 for a portion no larger than a mouthwash cup is unacceptable. This experience has cost them a loyal customer. I hope they seriously consider improving both their service and the quality of their offerings.

Definitely the best place I’ve visited. The owner greeted us, seated and informed us on what’s the best seller as well as other helpful information. If you are out of town like we are this is the place you want to go to if you love pasta! We did not have a reservation and did wait 30 minutes but it was worth it and everyone was very nice and helpful not only with us but with other customers as well. Keep up the great work

This is a great find. Our second visit and service was great. Food and drinks were all delicious and we will go back. Got bruschetta, burrata caprese, and a variety of pastas. Each of them tasty! We aren't local to the Burbank area but every time we come to a theater in Burbank we will keep this on our to be visited list.

Everything was delicious. We started out with a crispy pepperoni pizza. Tried the shrimp scampi, pesto, and the penne. All of the dishes were very good in their own way. And then the pudding was a perfect way to finish the meal. Will be back next time we’re in town.

Its a cozy and friendly place with a killer waitstaff, and the food is so authentic...you will enjoy the true taste of Italy!
If I have one request or can offer a piece of advice from someone who learned many of Nonni's recipes...
PLEASE put the chicken cacciatorre on the menu! Its as close to Nonni's that I've had in 42 years!

Definitely need a reservation to eat here because the place is packed and it’s on the smaller side, the restaurant itself is super modern and cozy, the staff is exceptional and knows their menu very well. The quality of the food is super fresh, I got the vegan lasagna because I’m dairy free and it was amazing, I couldn’t tell, it was the best vegan lasagna of my life!

I have high standards for Italian food because I’m half Italian and my relatives cook incredible dishes. Ma’s is on par with my family. The food is fantastic (try the fried mozzarella), the prices are reasonable, and the intimate atmosphere reminds me of Europe- the good parts (not the stinky armpits bc no one showers enough. #kidding #sorta). Back to Ma’s- the service is attentive and sweet. They pay special attention to my kids and are always making sure we have enough food/drinks - just like an Italian ma would. Delish!

Horrible restaurant with VERY rude employees. Yelling at customers is completely unprofessional. Who does that? If you want to be yelled at and asked to leave so they can accommodate other customers, even if you have a reservation, this is the place for you! How about not accepting walk-in customers if your tables are already full and reserved? What a concept! We made a reservation and were asked to leave before I even finished my last drink and BEFORE they brought our credit card back to us claiming they had a reservation after us that needed our table. The young blonde gentleman started arguing and yelling and becoming very aggressive with our small party of 4. He was extraordinary rude. I have never been yelled at by restaurant staff in my 50 years on this earth. Mind you, we never refused to leave, we were simply trying to understand why we were being told to leave. We drove 45 minutes and paid for a baby sitter in hopes of having a lovely meal with friends, instead it was ruined by rude staff. We were never told we had a time limit at our table. That should have been mentioned up front when we made our reservation so we could have chosen a more customer friendly venue.

I WISHED WE LIVED CLOSER! We were in the area spending the day and wanted a good local Italian restaurant! This was such an amazing spot! Great and attentive service from Seth, our waiter. We stopped by MA's on a whim while on vacation in Cali. We stayed at the hotel across the street so we walked over for dinner, we had a semi large party so they placed us out on the patio area. The patio has a covering around it, lighting & heat lamps for the winter so it was a cozy mostly private little spot. The complimentary garlic knots were good, we all enjoyed them. Prices weren't too bad either especially as the pasta dishes were pretty large & even the steak was a great size. Almost everyone in our party had leftovers to take back to the hotel to store for dinner the next night. The food was good, we all enjoyed what we had ordered & each of us were able to enjoy something that best suited our tastes. If I were in the area again I would probably visit MA's again. Our server Hayden was awesome. He was quick, attentive & had a great personality he managed to make everyone laugh and the kids thought he was great.

With a name like MA's Italian Kitchen, you go in expecting homestyle Italian, not anything cutting-edge or fancy. We ordered staples of that kind of food (a huge arugula salad, veal piccata, Chicken Alfredo, seafood linguine, and a fairly basic pizza). All delivered what you look for from those items in spades. Nothing startling, just exactly what you ordered done very well. We got exactly what we wanted.

We had an amazing experience! Came in without a reservation on a Friday night, and they were all booked up. We were offered a seat at the bar and despite it being busy, our server was very sweet and kind. The vibe was really nice and the food was delicious. Random location but everything inside makes up and takes this place full of regulars a notch above other Italian spots.

I went with my family to MA's and I was pleasantly surprised with the best scampi I've ever eaten. The shrimp was perfectly cooked so it was fresh and soft and full of great flavor with wine and butter and the pasta with it was perfect. One of our family got eggplant parmesan and another one got spaghetti and meatballs, and bruschetta chicken. Chicken was cooked beautifully soft, melts in your mouth. The young kids enjoyed their spaghetti and meatballs and even the garlic bread and knots. For dessert we tried three of them; one was an outstanding chocolate mousse with a little whipped cream on top which you could get with raspberries or not, and we got a Tiramisu and a delicious sweet pistachio cake with a little icing on top. Their garlic bread is amazing! You get lots of little pieces of garlic on it and it's soft bread with the crunchy crust I mean you can't get any better than that. They also gave us garlic knots. The only thing we could say wasn't 100% for us was that the broccoli and carrots vegetable mix was not cooked enough to be softer so we asked for them to make it softer and they did. A server will come around and ask if you want any more freshly grated Parmesan cheese on anything and they give you a lot if you want it . The portions are large. The service is incredible, our waiter was excellent and checked with us every few minutes to make sure everything was fine, they do everything with a smile. It's just impeccable.

I just wish the place was bigger as it's very popular for obvious reasons why every every table got filled up while we were there with people waiting to come in. If you have more than two people I'd say get a reservation, it's a must. This is now my new favorite restaurant I'm so glad we went there. Excellently managed and there's a big parking lot in that shopping center where it's located next to a market, and the freeway. And interestingly enough all the servers are men, and it works great.
If I could ask for one thing they could include in their menu it would be for something like a filet of sole with a wine and garlic sauce. They do have a salmon dish but I don't eat salmon. But I did taste everything we ordered and all of it was delicious.

We returned a week later, last night, and tried some other dishes. The salmon was very good, comes with fresh cooked vegies and pasta. The chicken and orzo soup is the best chicken soup I have had in any restaurant in my entire life, and I am very picky and this one is like what I make at home. I have never praised another chicken soup. The butterscotch budino dessert is delicious. The service is still excellent, Seth was our server who went above and beyond always with a real smile, warmth, eager to help. When we left there were many people waiting to get in. If you have to wait or you get cold easily, bring a warm jacket or sweater. It is worth waiting for.

Amazing food the staff are fantastic. Ok it's located in a strip mall BUT it's really, really good. The prices are also a great value.

It's an ok place with some Italian heritage but a lot of American influence like cheese in shrimps which in Italy is a no no. The entrees are essentially chicken in different fashions but they have a lot of pastas. Good for a quick bite, not for large groups.

This will be my first review of a restaurant, and I'll tell you why. We travel all over America, and we like to eat. Ma's Kitchen has hospitality to the fullest, amazing ambience, and some of the most delicious flavorful foods out there. The entrees are portioned well, and there dessert is outstanding. To top it off, all of the staff were extremely nice, polite and explained well. Hats off to the crew at Ma's.

The calamari was bland, but the Frutti di Mare was perfectly spicy with an array of delectable seafood. The wine choice by the waiter was perfect.
Everyone was celebrating an event, and noone seemed to be bothered. We were all enjoying the vibe of the restaurant.

I have come to this restaurant for my birthday for the last 4 years, along with other special occasions. I suggested to friend that we have our memorial dinner here instead of Paće in Laurel Canyon, as a nice fun friendly place for our evening. 2 of our party arrived early 2 on time one was stuck at the airport and one so delayed we told her to not bother coming. The experience was very sub par on this night "tonight" we were immediately told that we would need to leave by 8:15 and we had not even been given a menu it was only 6:30 at that time The entire nite was a fiasco. I will no longer suggest this restaurant to my studio coworkers or friends because it's not the same wonderful place I had experienced many times before. We were not told once or twice about needing to be gone (still not even having ordered food) we were told 4 times and even after exspressing that we got the messafe it continued. the server told us first then some guy with an iPad came to our table eventually being followed by the manager all telling us thier policy and that we would need to leave then all of them came to the table to tell us how we needed to be gone an a specific time The entire night was uninviting, hostile, and honestly I wish we had simply left. It's unprofessional that the manager decided to talk over me and tell me that I am wrong when after paying the bill I attempted to tell him that he could have chosen a better way to approach us in this situation. He proceeded to accused us of purposefully breaking a champagne flute when our over crowded table had a fallen flute hit the floor when a gift bag tipped over. I don't think I have been yelled at in a restaurant before tonight, insisting that I was wrong in front of all his customers with zero shame. What a disaster this night was I wish I had simply moved our party to a friendlier venue as the night was ruined even tho we had intended on a decadent night of feasting on as many dishes as our over crowded table could handle. We made a reservation for the patio requesting plenty of time for our party but we're sat inside instead and then pressured to be sure to leave by 8:15 pm as their policy is that customers eat pay and leave in 2 hours. If they knew this they should have called and informed us that they would not be able to host or serve our party as these details were listed in the reservation. I have 25 years in the food service industry from Spago, the Royalton hotel, to the restaurant 44 in NYC, I've received reviews in the New York times, LA weekly and LA times for food and service, I know how to treat customers and tonight was an embarrassment to me and to the friends I brought to what I thought was a friendly place. The manager was so insistent that he was right about whatever that he could not stop talking over me when I attempted to tell him how it could have been delt with less offensively. This was a first but it was also an Insult as our table felt attacked for our party having issues and we no intention do delay our choices of ordering but only 15 minutes into the reservation the attack began It was unfortunate, I can't know for sure that if there is a problem that it will be handled respectfully. The food however is good but sadly the owners choice to put an inexperienced person in charge of the floor has resulted in the loss of loyal customers and the word of mouth advertising that good service and good food usually brings which is the bread and butter to small establishments like this one. It's sad I'm sad and do not plan to return.

MA'S Italian Kitchen

Ma's Italian kitchen. Well, what can I say about this jewel of Italian eatery? We came across it by accident. We were hungry and kind of unfamiliar with the area. And there it was. On Yelp, after searching for something to eat. Ma's Italian kitchen. When we got there. ( My spouse and I). We were greeted very friendly and ( since we asked if they had outside seating) led outside to a nice tent area. A couple of tables with white tablecloths as far as I can recall. It was a while ago. And a few folks sitting outside already. It seemed cozy and comfortable. The waiter, unfortunately, can't recall his name. A very nice, friendly, and attentive guy came shortly after we sat down. Gave us the menus and told us about the specials. Asked us if this was our first time there. Which it was. And asked us what we liked to drink. After some time he came back and we ordered our food. My spouse had vegan lasagna ( my spouse was in awe of how many nice vegan dishes they had). Some side salad. I had a dish of Paste bolognese with salad. We also received some nice warm breads. The dishes truly were OUT OF THIS WORLD! I seriously can say this was by far the best bolognese I had so far from any Italian restaurant! My spouse is a bit hard to lease. Just loved his lasagna. That alone made me thank the mighty food gods out there. LOL But what really stood out and will make us come back, again? Besides the great food, the great service. Was, at the end when we asked for the check. The waiter brought their signature dessert Tiramisu in a glass ( this was the first time for me ever since I came to this country. And I so appreciated it. Because it reminded me of Europe.) It was also topped with a fresh unsweetened whipped cream. This fresh taste is on top. It was so delicious. That dessert certainly is a must-have in the great place. Long story " short" ( LOL) go and try out this place. You will NOT regret it!

This plane is a hidden secret! The food and service was Exceptional!
I stumbled up on the best freshest tasting Italian food ever. They had one of my favorite meals to eat, Not just a favorite but rare, very hard to find. They also customized it for me. I was in heaven. Not only was it extremely fresh, fresh ingredients, fresh tasting, everthing! I can't drool enough about this food.
Then... OMG The dessert! Help me Jesus. I left no evidence. I plan to go back to California just for this food.

Discovering this restaurant was a relief after a day at Universal Studios with hungry and tired kids. The quick and friendly service was a lifesaver – delicious dishes arrived promptly, satisfying our craving for tasty food. The unexpected bonus of a complimentary dessert added a sweet touch to our evening. Solid 5 stars for rescuing our hungry and tired crew with both speed and flavor. Highly recommend for a delicious and efficient dining experience!

Small restaurant with seating both indoors and patio. Plenty parking as it's located in a large plaza. Food is delicious, service great. Mostly locals coming in and out, and you can tell they have been here before; return customers means they are doing something right :-). Definitely coming back.

This place is great. The food was really good (chicken picatta) and our server was fantastic (Hayden). The owner/chef is very engaged and you could sense how proud he is of what they're providing. We were a group of 7 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!!

I was visiting my daughter and we were looking for a restaurant that is close to Burbank airport. It was such a pleasant surprise to find Ma’s Italian Kitchen. My daughter, her friend, and I sat in the outdoor area. The space was elegant with white tablecloths, cozy with heaters above, and festive with holiday decorations. The staff were personable and very attentive, giving helpful suggestions. We each ordered something different and we were very happy with our selections. Each meal was made with fresh ingredients. Our meals were delicious and displayed beautifully. At the end of our meal, our waiter brought us a dessert to try. What a kind gesture! It was the butterscotch and caramel dessert. What a treat! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back. Ma’s Italian kitchen is a little gem! And, I made it to the airport on time.

I was craving Maggianos (a different Italian restaurant) but there was too much traffic so we came here instead and I’m soo glad we did! You can tell everything is made from scratch, not frozen. The garlic knots weren’t great but literally everything else was amazing. The server was friendly and made great suggestions and even the owner came to say hello. Also, if you’re a first time visitor, they give you a complimentary caramel custard which is so good! Definitely recommend.

Found this place by accident. Best accident EVER. The food was amazing. Everything was delicious from start to finish. Service was perfect. Can't pick what my favorite was. The appetizer meatball ricotta toast 😋 👌 I will be back for. Lasagne had great flavor. My husband and dad got the clam pizza. They paired it with a glass of white wine. Night end with dessert, which the kids devoured.

The food is delicious. My favorite is the rigatoni bolognese. The desserts are also really good. It's a small venue and the noise level can get high. Service is very good.

An odd location from the exterior, but a lovely, intimate dining area. The service was good once we were seated, however we had to stand at the front of house for a few minutes before being greeted, we had a reservation and did not have to wait after being acknowledged.
My wife had the Penne Alla Vodka and it was very good. The vodka sauce was on point and delicious. She did not opt to have a protein added. The portion sizing was generous which makes sense given the price. While it was slightly cheaper than most Italian Restaurants in the area, the pasta was most likely boxed and not made fresh.
I had the spaghetti and meatballs, and I have to say that it may be the worst I've had in LA. Again, boxed pasta, so nothing special. The sauce was fine, it wasn't great, perhaps on the verge of good. The meat balls were atrocious. It was like they balled up raw hamburger meat, boiled it, froze it and then microwaved it. There was no hint of an appetizing flavor. No seasoning to note. No noticeable ingredients used aside from beef. The texture was something completely new for me. I've never experienced meat as grainy and dry as this. It was shocking.
Overall, this place gets 3 stars (barely) because our server was attentive and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. My wife's dish was also impeccably good. I'd give the food a 2.5 if it were an option, but I will round up instead of rounding down because the Penne was actually that good.
Unfortunately I don't believe we will be returning because I don't know that the food will be consistent.

I recently ordered from MA's Italian Kitchen through Uber Eats. I chose the Rigatoni Bolognese and, being a Parmesan cheese lover, I made sure to call their representative, Daniel, to confirm my request for extra cheese. I greatly appreciate his assistance. The food was absolutely delicious, and I couldn't resist taking some appetizing photos to share. It's worth noting that this order was placed on a busy Saturday night, yet it arrived warm and perfect. I highly recommend ordering from MA's Italian Kitchen via Uber Eats!

I had the mushroom ravioli. It was amazing. if I had to critique anything, I would prefer the sauce be a little thicker. It was kinda watery for me. But the flavor and everything else was great and I will order again.

My friends and I had an amazing time here while celebrating one of their birthday. I made reservations ahead of time from Google and I think they recommend making reservations before coming here. We arrived about 10 minutes late but I called ahead to let them know which wasn't an issue. When we arrived, they were basically pack but we were able to find parking because it's in a big plaza that is shared with Vons and other store. When we sat down, they already brought out the water and ask us what would we like to start off with for drinks. They brought out the garlic bread which was complimentary and the bread was so soft and delicious. We put in a order of the fried mozzarella and large Carne pizza. The mozzarella chesse was delicious and the carne pizza was awesome especially with the amount of bacon they put in it. I got a small Hawaiian Pizza, the birthday boy got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and our other friend got the Lasagna. All the dishes were delicious and you cannot go wrong with what you order. The customer service we received was amazing, our waiter was attentive to our table. We finish the night with the Butterscotch Budino which they said was a fan favorite and its really good. Since it was our friend birthday, it was also complimentary and we were the last customer for the night. I would highly recommend coming here if you want good Italian food with amazing service.

Food: 5 star, all of the dishes were amazing so you cannot go wrong with what you order here.

Service: 5 star, the waiter and everyone else are nice and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in.

Parking: 5 star, there are a bunch of parking so you'll find a spot.

Atmosphere: 5 star, the restrauant isn't that big but it works for them and they have a little outdoor dining area.

My girl and I were looking for a casual Italian place not far from the office. How lucky we were to have discovered this gem! The food was great, the service exceptional and personal. The owner was very personable and that little extra touch sets it apart. It’s nice to eat somewhere where you know the owner takes just as much pride in what is coming out of the kitchen as he does in how it’s coming to your table. The budino offered at the end was delectable and surprisingly light. We’ll definitely be back!!

Great food, small, slightly claustrophobic when it’s a full house, but our waiter Carlos sucked, ignored us all night to treat the bigger party that was being loud and obnoxious the whole time like kings and queens. I guess Carlos only cares about the big tips. We were checked on more by the guy clearing tables than him. And when the drunks next to us dropped their beer and splashed my table I appreciate how quick he was to clean it up for them but didn’t even offer us a towel or napkin or anything to clean up what got splashed on us. Hopefully we don’t end up in his section again as his service was trash, he’s lucky I tipped at all.

I am from out of town and wanted a good Italian meal. I arrived without a reservation on a Saturday evening and they quickly sat me. My linguine with clams was delicious. Service was attentive. I had a pleasant meal and will return if back in the area.

We had previously dined in and enjoyed a good meal, so we decided to order delivery. Sadly it did not compare with what we had enjoyed in person. The spaghetti wasn’t prepared as requested, the chicken fettuccine was dry, the garlic bread was too garlicky and soggy and the butterscotch budino was salty. In person is probably the way to go.

I went there with a group of 7 while on vacation. The service was incredible, the food portions were huge without breaking the bank, and the quality was amazing. I loved the pasta primavera and everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed their food as well. As a bonus, there are crayons for drawing on the tablecloth and my family had a competition to see who could get on their drawing wall. I will go back again when I return to the area. 10/10

My first experience review:
I found this place on Yelp driving home from work today and saw that it was right off the highway and looked like it had really good food. It's Tuesday so I figured it couldn't be too busy but I was wrong. Upon getting into the parking lot it was packed. They share a parking lot with a grocery store so I thought maybe it's from the grocery store. Nope. They were packed

They're a lot smaller than I thought which added to the ambiance. An adorable couple was in front of me celebrating her birthday and the owner/manager guy remembered them from a year ago which shows you they care about their customers.

They set me at the bar which was very cramped but I was glad to not have to wait.

I ended up getting the lasagne which requires 15 minutes to cook but it was delicious, very cheesy.

The couple next to me at the bar got the bolognese and ravioli and they raved about it too. The guy on the other side of me got the bolognese so I guess the signature thing to get is the bolognese.

Portions were huge I barely finished half of mine, and same with everyone else around me. They do give you garlic knots and offer you more with the meal so those can fill you up.

They gave me a salted caramel pudding dessert (i forget the name) but it was delicious. Highly recommend this place, and shout out to my server Carlos- who was amazing and on top of everything. I even forgot my card and he ran out to give it to me as I drove away- so I would say that's excellent service

Updated Review Second Visit:

Stopped by again yesterday, Carlos was there and instantly remembered me which is so nice, speaks to what I said in my original review that this place really cares about their customers! I got the ricotta meatball appetizer which was really good, I wish the bread was a little bit crispier but the meatballs and ricotta were delicious. It came with a small side of shaved carrots? That were very flavorful and maybe even slightly spicy? It was good.

I got the mushroom ravioli which I heard was really good, and it did not disappoint. The sauce was light and the ravioli was cooked perfectly.

I cannot give this place and Carlos a higher recommendation!

Phenomenal, true 5-star experience. First, I didn't know it was so hot that it was reservation recommended, I'm an out of towner following the stars, but the owner himself made sure he got us in. The food was amazing, and it reminds me of going back to Italy, eating home cook meals from a nona, and in reality, it is! These are the owners' grandmother's family recipes! You can truly taste the history and the meticulous care and detail to flavor. If you're a true cook, then you know what I mean. Amazing wait staff, cozy feel, all around wonderful.

Brought the better half to Ma’s for his birthday while visiting Universal Studios. The exterior is unassuming and doesn’t give the interior and food the credit it so deserves.

We enjoyed our dinner and the service was great. The birthday boy enjoyed the seafood pasta (I can’t remember the name) and I the chicken marsala. Aside from my chicken being slightly overdone, the pasta was perfectly al dente and the flavors were on point. We did have their orzo soup for an appetizer and if I had one critique about it was the lack of orzo. Aside from that, such a good place to visit and I would totally go again. Where it doesn’t get the 5th star is the the plastic chairs and somewhat odd table layout. Not bad, but also not the greatest.

We had dinner here yesterday, food was very good! We had the fried calamari and garlic bread, and meat lasagna and shrimp Alfredo. Both very good dishes, our server was always making sure we were enjoying our food. The inside is a bit small so everyone is talking loud which makes it hard to have a conversation. Next time I will getting a patio table. Thank you Hayden for everything!

Dined here last night and it was wonderful. The perfectly cozy neighborhood spot. Great decor--charming yet contemporary. The place was packed on this Wednesday evening and we did not have reservations. We were graciously accommodated with two comfy seats at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and friendly, while managing the group seated at the bar and the bustling crowd in the restaurant. We started with a lovely bottle of Italian red wine with delicious garlic knots. We then shared the small size Caesar salad which was flavorful and super fresh, and plenty for two people when paired with an entrée. We both enjoyed the Rigatoni Bolognese, which was perfect. Although we were stuffed, we couldn't resist the Butterscotch Budino for dessert, which was a lovely creamy butterscotch pudding topped with caramel and sea salt--a wonderful treat at the end of the meal. MA's also had a very nice wine selection. Easy parking, as the restaurant is tucked into a corner of a strip mall. Loved everything about this homey place and can't wait to return. Thank you, MA's, for a lovely evening.

My husband and I both had pizza and it was absolutely delicious, perfect sauce to topping to crust ratio! 10/10 would recommend the food. Our waiter Hayden was also incredibly nice! Our first time there and when asked for dessert he said “I have the perfect thing” and brought out the butterscotch budino, it was amazing. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more and will definitely come back when in the area again!

My friend and I came in tonight without a reservation and the hostess graciously made room for us. We were then greeted by our waiter, Hayden and we’re delighted by his enthusiastic disposition and extensive knowledge of the wine and food menu. He went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Highly recommend.

A little pricey. My only complaint was we weren't told the price of the special which we ordered. It was good but not worth the high price

My wife and I were looking for something to eat with our kid on the way home, and we came across this place. I'm glad we stopped in.
Sheradin (hopefully i spelled it right) was our server and she recommended some great dishes as well as desserts after we finished our meals. They also gave my son some crayons to occupy him a bit while we ate.
Great service, nice people, really good food too.
Would definitely recommend this place to others.
Im sure we will be back again soon.

We frequent this restaurant often and never disappointed. We recently used Michel and his staff to cater a large family event. As usual, Michel delivered on all levels. He food arrived on time, was hit and incredibly delicious. We can always count on Michel for a stellar experience.

So very good! We had 2 sides of meatballs and the small arugula salad to start, followed by a pizza margherita (along with a Prosecco and chianti). It was packed, but service was gracious, attentive, and prompt.

Recommended by a friend, a great little spot for great Italian! Had the penne Alla vodka with Italian sausage. It was amazing 🤩 the garlic knots were cold when we got them otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
Server was good but busy with a full house on a Tuesday night. A must try!

The food was delicious and the staff was top knotch. Sheridan took care of us. Definitely recommend!

Its my 1st time in this Italian restaurant , the only mistake I made I ordered their special med well steak 🥩 which came out dry🫣i don't have any intention of complaining nor not paying but just to let them know how the steak was but server Edgar was rude and saying why i am complaining wherein i finished the steak (i didn’t🫣 and should have taken a pic on my plate) Then another guy approached and i believe the manager with same reaction. Worst customer service I’ve ever had. My 1st and last visit here.

After the WB bros studio tour, we were famished. We googled restaurants close to the studio and found this place. The reviews were so good that we decided to try it. From the moment we got there, they went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. Too cold? No problem, they turned on the heaters. The above head heaters stopped working? No problem, they brought in a propane space heater. Food was quick and just as delicious as the reviews said. the house Chianti was great and Knowing it was our first time, they comped us a delicious dessert. Something with salted caramel. Even though we were stuffed, we made room for it and it was just as good as the rest of the meal. If we lived here, I’d be back for sure. Our server Bob was wonderful, as was Michel (?) the owner (?) anyway. Great place. Thank you!! So glad we found you.

Great place! Ive dined in a couple times and I order takeout from here frequently and it’s a great experience both ways. When I dine in they are always very attuned to the guests needs despite being quite busy most of the time. Their takeout it always good and a lot of the pastas travel well for it. When they do make a mistake they do what they can to fix it- i once had wrong item from takeout but they literally sent someone to my building to give me the correct item and I just had to grab it. Nice place with ostensibly good owners and/or management based on the consistency of my experience.

It was a great experience, the waiter was great his name is Hayden I highly recommend asking for him. They have delicious desserts and food.
