Really cool low key place directly next to the 5 freeway. Steak was pretty good, linguine & clams was also great! Service was good, prices reasonable, and the atmosphere was just the vibe we needed after a hectic drive out of Burbank Airport. Definitely recommend!

I often say you can tell a lot about people by the reviews they write. I hope you can tell from mine that I *love* good food! The Ramp offers incredible food and drinks, plus attentive service. After two of our fave Italian restaurants closed, we went without for a few years. We learned about this place (on an episode of Rockford Files, no less!) and knew we had to try it.

The dishes we’ve enjoyed here include Chicken Parmigiana, Garlic Cheese Bread, Side Salad, Seafood Combination, plus the Steak and Shrimp. All of the food was simply fantastic and priced appropriately. We’ve also had some desserts here and I can’t recall what they were other than delicious! The warm atmosphere and romantic music in the dining room make for a great date night.

I don’t understand other reviewers’ concerns about the valet. We’ve never had an issue. The parking lot is tiny and an economy with plenty of jobs is a healthy one. People need to work in a capitalist society; calm down. Since baseball season is getting started soon, we plan to come back and watch some Dodgers games in the bar. Whether you’re looking for superb dining or a relaxed bar to watch your fave sport, you can’t go wrong at The Ramp!

Oh yeah. Drinks were great. Food pretty good and I loved the atmosphere.... Really a wonderful place that is equally a neighborhood sports bar, nice Italian restaurant, and cocktail bar.

So it's been years since we've been here. We decided to give it another shot. It was a little rough. This time, we could tell they did a little face-lift, and the atmosphere had definitely improved. We had Ribeye and Halibut. It was good, not great but good. I also had the clam chowder, which was very good. The atmosphere is definitely a bit dated feeling, and you have to pay for valet parking, which doesn't make any sense. It's easy to just park myself. I get it in Hollywood where there's no parking. It just didn't make sense here. The service was wonderful. They are very attentive to our needs without overdoing it. I did appreciate that. So, overall, it was a good meal.

Unlike another person who posted an earlier review, I don’t mind the dated decor but the interior was extremely dark when first entering from outside.

Great little "whole in the wall" Food Is delicious and service is great. I would highly recommend this place for anyone in the mood for great Italian food or hanging out at the bar, (we had a burger this time) which was delicious. They also have a really good selection of drinks.

It’s a great dinner experience where I ended up here on two separate evenings. The first I had their beef stroganoff and the second I marvelously enjoyed their prime rib au jus. Especially here, I wish I would have taken some food photos but had family I hadn’t seen in a long time so it was mostly Peronis and laughs. Incredible food and vibe experience both evenings.

We had dinner on Tuesday, I had the Cobb salad, absolutely delicious, the best of any restaurant I’ve ever been to! The one thing missing was our friend Jose, He actually took a well deserved night off! Fried zucchini perfect, and my husband had The beef stroganoff, so very tender, I ate a lot of😬 Thank you my friends 🥗🍝🥒❤️

I would highly recommend this place. We was traveling from out of town and we ate dinner all three nights at this place the drinks. The food was amazing but the best part our server Stephanie made us feel so welcome and took such great care of us.

17 dollars on one appetizer wasted! The shrimp cocktail was SO SMALL! Never in my life have I seen a restaurant serve such a teeny tiny shrimp cocktail.

Came here tonight with my boyfriend for his birthday and we had a wonderful time! I was even able to bring my little dog too since our four legged friends are allowed on the patio! The food was delicious! I had the Sand Dabs which was light and flaky with a lemon butter sauce. My boyfriend had the prime rib which was rich and practically melted in your mouth. Their house bread was freshly made and was phenomenal! Our server was so nice and accommodating and really made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back!

Food is good. Atmosphere is great 👍 But the parking is something else. It's very small and if there's no parking whatsoever you'd have to park somewhere else and it's not easy to find parking there at all. This restaurant is very pricey. A little expensive for someone/families who are on a budget.

As guests have mentioned in other reviews, the on-site valet parking is definitely suspect. I legitimately thought the scruffy-looking employee was a homeless man, as he approached me asking for $5. He gave me some excuse about how there have been "incidents" in the past, but gave up begging for change when we asked questions about his legitimacy. Why would I ever willingly pay money to park/retrieve my own vehicle in a tiny, half-empty lot?

Thankfully, the food was delicious and staff was incredibly kind/welcoming. Would highly recommend the portofino pasta and a slice of the chocolate mousse.

Love love love the Ramp.......come check it out peeps.....2023 UPDATE This place is even better now. Surf & turf was jus friggin AWESOME. I could cut the filet mignon with my fork and it really does melt in your mouth. Lobster 🦞 was so big I could only eat half..... veggies & mashed potatoes were done perfectly..... and Chole bartender / server is the best part..... she rocks!!!!!

Our family visited The Ramp on New Years Eve. I had the chicken piccata and it was cooked to perfection. We had a great time and forgot to take pictures! I did snap a picture of the tiramisu cake which was moist and flavorful. We will definitely visit again!

Me and a coworker came here this past Friday and from the outside it doesn’t look like anything special but the inside is quite charming. The bar area is a bit random but very enjoyable aesthetically with some artistic stuff and sports stuff around then the further dining area is very classy and makes you feel a bit like, you were in Italian restaurant now. The server was very soft-spoken. It was hard to hear him and he asked us if we wanted cheesy garlic bread to start. My coworker said yes and he was on his way. However, there is a half size and the whole size for this garlic bread he never asked what size we wanted and brought us out the big one that seems a little underhanded since there was no talk about price or anything but not that big of a deal. The food was pretty OnPoint. We both were on happy hour, so we both got the French dip. The dip itself was very good not too salty just right for me. The meat was cooked very well. It was tender and the bread was soft and delicious as well. I would give it a solid four out of five the french fries, five out of five and the garlic bread five out of five overall, it was a good experience would definitely come again. I would like to try more of their Italian food next time.

I have driven by this place many times going to and from Burbank Airport. Just happened my wife and our two friends stayed the night in Burbank. Wanted a dinner and drink place, so we gave The Ramp a shot. Wow. What a hidden gem. Outstanding service. Food was Amazing. Everything is hand made. Drinks were solid. Atmosphere was so cool. Throw back but upscale at the same time. Got there at 5. Empty. Before we left the place was packed. Now I can see why. Be back for certian!

I wished I had taken pictures, but our food was delicious 😋. I had the beef stroganoff, and that red wine sauce was amazing. There was really a great menu to choose from and something for everyone to enjoy, even for picky eaters. The portions are pretty big, and we had to take leftovers, which we don't mind. The ambiance is cozy authentic Italian, giving it a warm and friendly feel. Our server was very attentive to our need, and the service was great and timely. My only critic would be the valet. The parking lot is very small, so we can park ourselves, but I can understand why they need it to keep an easy flow of cars without causing accidents since it's so close to the road. It's an odd location, but I feel like the Ramp is a little gem in this big city. We were just visiting from Arizona and leaving in the morning. But we will plan on coming back next time we're in town.

Très chouette restaurant ! La cadre est très bien, ambiance cosy. Le personnel est sympa. Les plats sont délicieux, aussi bien les burgers que les pâtes. Petit bémol pour le valet de parking (5 dollars) qui ne me parait pas nécessaire au vu de la place disponible au moment de notre passage (Samedi 19h30).

This place was recently updated a bit and offers more comfortable seating and a cleaner, cozier atmosphere than it had during previous vists. The service was attentive, and food came out hot and didn't take too long. Nice bar selection. Food was ok, but not great. DH Steak was a little overcooked for his preference. Also he wasn't a fan of the buttery sauce it had on it. Good baked potato. I had halibut, and it lacked a little flavor, but the vegetables were tasty. Small parking lot but adequate; however, be prepared as it is Valet only.

This is a nice small restaurant of the 5 freeway. All the staff was very polite and attentive to our requests. They kept checking on us to ensure we were satisfied with the food and drinks 🍸 😋 I had the clam chowder soup and California chicken salad, and they were delicious. Vallet parking only for $5.00. You should visit this place. You will like it. 👍

Had a bit of time before flying out of BUR and not much in the area. Found this gem, tucked in by the freeway and was not disappointed. Music was a bit loud to drown out the freeway but food was good Italian favorites with some interesting fish and seafood offerings. Prices were very reasonable and the full bar was a good way to kill some time before heading to the airport.

Comfortable, friendly, delicious, Italian cuisine….
Took our mom here for her 93rd birthday. The Italian food is cooked to perfection, as ordered. Jose even makes his own desserts. The Calamari was fresh and tender, so delicious it melted in my mouth. Quaint old school restaurant/bar. Walked in for lunch and the lovely smell of garlic filled the air. The garlic cheese bread is to die for. My meatball sandwich was excellent enough for lunch the next day. Will definitely return.

Long time patron and first time post. We love coming here for Italian food that feels homemade with love. When you first enter the restaurant you will see the lounge / bar area and if you continue towards the back you will find a separate cozy space for dining. Personal favorites of ours: The cheese manicotti which is only available sometimes so call ahead but it's amazing, the traditional spaghetti and meatballs, delicious cheese garlic bread, and the Portifino pasta. Highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or dinner with family and friends, you won't regret trying and will keep coming back.

Looks are deceiving! The exterior of the building is inconspicuous and unassuming but inside is a great bar area and beautiful restaurant tables. Food was excellent, would definitely go again soon!

I love this place! It’s old school cool with delicious food and a first class wait staff. I’ve tried many different meals here from the fish, to steaks and pasta. Everything is so well prepared and fresh. The bartender also makes a fantastic vodka martini.
Highly recommend this little hidden gem.

This is definitely a little hole in the wall place tucked away in the corner of a lot. We had to find a waiter to serve us. Once we did, we were happy with the meals. If you get a chance come by and see them. Bring a flashlight. It's kinda dark in there.

First time visit after flying from the east coast. Solid, no frills, old school vibe with very friendly and attentive staff. Large salads, delicious seafood, great value. Sand Dabs were a surprise, fabulous! As others have said, don't let outside appearances fool you. This restaurant is Good, I would recommend definitely! ❤

So I'm here now. The bartender told me my chicken wrap is gonna be made to order, ok awesome I thought. I didn't even ask about that..but..ok cool bring it. I get my Chicken Wrap its cold...room temperature, no heat. I said way is my chicken cold if he's making it fresh. You mean the same old chicken that you just talked bad about other restaurants doing.

It's been here forever, but this was our first time, and we were pleasantly surprised! The food and service were great, and the kitsch value is off the charts!

Food was good. Overcharged by 26$ and was told by waiter he could not reverse the charges to compensate me for the error. He gave me 18 $ out of his pocket ,but I am still out 8 $.A good lunch ruined by poor service.
Beware and take note of your charges.

Hands down my best dining experience I ever had shout out to Carlos whooo hoo you rock! Can't wait to come back! So delicious and the whole staff is amazing! I highly recommend The Ramp Restaurant & Bar! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Terrific! Don’t let the location or exterior appearance fool you, this place is a local gem - very nice bar with TV’s to watch sports, and beyond that a separate more intimate area for quiet dining. And the food! We had halibut special with spinach and a wonderful sauce, veggies on the side and a perfect chowder. I’ll be back!

Excellent food, we had the sausage and pepper pasta dish, cheesy jalapeno bread, and 3 berry cheesecake for desert. Quaint atmosphere, pleasantly surprising.

Stumbled onto this place by accident. In town for a convention. It was close and recommended. I sat at the bar and the bartender Benjamin made my night. Great conversation and service. He’s a great asset to this place. It’s cozy. Food was good. Zucchini appetizer was meh. But the chowder was tremendous. 8 oz filet was very good. For me the overall was 4.5 stars. Benjamin had a lot to do with my nice evening. I’d go back no doubt.

Very good. My steak was over done but not enough to return it. Make sure you stress MED RARE.

Excellent food and wonderful people. I really love their ravioli in pink sauce. But everything is amazing!
