Boba Loca

Great drinks and cute place just wanna put a warning to anyone with peanut ALLERGIES LET THEM KNOW! I didn't realize since there is one peanut based drink I didn't see it and thought I was in the clear. Broke out in really nasty hives while drinking my strawberry lemonade.
I'm sure had I said something they'd have extra sanitized for me so it's not their fault. Just wanna make sure others like me are aware since I know this allergy can be deadly for some.

This is the spot for Boba and Smoothies in Burbank. I've been going here for almost two years now and it always hits the spot. I tried the new Boba place down the street but it didn't have the same effect on me as Boba Loca. Great prices and so many flavor options! So refreshing on a hot day like yesterday. I'll always pick to go to this spot in Burbank.

Great milk teas and slushes, boba is good and the extra popping toppings are an extra fun splash.
Friendly staff, fair prices and a pretty good setup (during COVID) looks like it'll be good post-COVID too.

Overall we enjoyed our drinks. I got the iced hazelnut latte and the friend got the taro. Their regular sweetnees is VERY sweet, so make sure to adjust.

If you like good quality boba don't come here. The boba itself is tasteless. As I was drinking the smoothie I noticed the boba wasn't fully cooked (as seen in attached photos) and were hardened, making it hard to leave this place a good review. My partners cup burst open as she was inserting the straw, beware very cheaply used plastic cups. The customer service didn't make our experience here any better, as we ordered and payed an employee asked us to wait outside so we did only for said employee to forget about our order and had us wait longer to make our drinks this time. Their excuse? "We're busy" not one customer was there at the time of our orders.

This is the only place where I can get my Grape slush! I usually get green apple or grape slush here which are really good. I stopped by here after picking up my order from Octopus sushi. They weren't busy at all and took order right at the entrance due to the no dine in rule. The person who took our order was very helpful and it didnt take long for our drinks to be ready. He even took the time to put the drinks in a cup holder for us.

Driving by, I saw a lit neon open sign and thought I'd get a morning Boba. I went in through the open door, the guy behind the counter saw me then went into the back room for about 5 minutes. He comes back out and tells me they're closed and he open for 35 minutes.
I told him that I came in because the sign was on and he should turn it off. In the 10 minutes it's taken me to take a picture and post this review the sign has still not been turned off... Awesome customer service. 🙄

This is their Burbank location with the drinks that you know and love, like the Strawberry matcha milk tea and Coconut butterfly, AND you can make any drink into the viral mystery cups with a surprise inside!

They’ve also got different snacks here like Korean shaved ice in a cup and even funnel cake.

The cashier was so sweet! I came last night for a boba fixing before close. I'm always hesitant to go before close but I was welcome to order and ordered the thai tea with boba, a classic. The cashier was sweet and offered a sample of the taro, it was so good! I would come here again, the inside was very clean and I felt very welcome despite it being late night.

I've never cared for tea or anything that is in a Boba drink. My daughter on the other hand loves it and usually her pappi takes her as a little bonding time but I took her and tried her drink which was a Strawberry Macha Boba drink and I loved it! They also have macaroons and cake and a wide selection of Boba drinks and smoothies etc...

Pretty good boba, (I have gone to many boba shops), decent, but pretty average. The inside looked very nice and clean.

We definitely love a great night out in Downtown Burbank, but the boba we got here was pretty average. I think because of the Thai Tea. It was pretty bland, unfortunately. But that didn't stop us from drinking every drop.

Boba Loca is hands down the best boba spot in Burbank. Considering customer service, pricing and quality it is unmatched. All of the employees are incredibly kind and helpful. The drinks are made quite quickly and they are amazing! I would definitely recommend supporting this spot rather than a place like Bobatime.

First and last time going here. The boba itself had no flavor, doesn't seem to be soaked in sugar or honey. Thai tea had no flavor as well. I asked for light ice and the tea was still so watered down.

Boba Loca is by far the best Boba place around. Its a small shop that has been in downtown Burbank for a long time. The owner is super friendly and so are the staff. I will always support local business, not the chain places that keep popping up and I hope everyone feels the same and we can keep local businesses alive!

I havent been here since the lockdowns but remember great drinks. I was in the area and wanted to get a boba with my hawaiian lunch from next door. Big sign on door that says mask required. So I did not enter and I did not buy anything. It is perfectly within the owner's right to have that requirement. Just like it is mine to never spend money here again.

It‘s a desasters… never had such a bad matcha in my entire life!!! I had to throw it away after a few sipps. my friend orded a lemonade with boba which was waaaayyy too sweet and just tasted like pure sugar. I would NOT recommend this place if you want to get good boba, but the guy was at least very friendly!

All I can say is YUM. I'm new to Boba outside of Boba Tea Company in New Mexico, and the Boba here was super tasty. If you like fruity, try the Pina Colada Boba!

Açaí bowl is mostly açaí. Expected their to be some granola or banana in it but really skimped on the fruit. Strawberry matcha was also a fail. It was disgustingly to sweet.

My best friend and I get boba from here every week! When we can't get to Little Tokyo/Korea, this is our favorite spot near home. It's still open during quarantine too. You just need to order it as take-out.

The pudding wasn't actually egg pudding Im used to or as expected and flavors were okay but Ive tasted more pronounced teas. The lavender tho was greatly pronounced and interesting ! Boba was chewy. Again its okay

I love this place! I especially like how it’s near BBHS and they have a spare computer that kids can use! The boba here is amazing!! It’s also always a comfortable temperature in there and it’s very modern and all the song they have are amazing as well. Then there’s cool art on the walls and there’s outlets everywhere and it’s a cute place to hang with friends and get some win done (: last but not least I love how on the menu option you can add in supplements to your drink for only 1$ and it can be something like protein

Good tea but a bit on the pricy side. They should lose the fee for credit cards and should absorb it as a cost of doing business. The regular boba is unfortunately tasteless - definitely go for the popping boba.

It has that mom and pop shop kind of feel, decent selection of drinks, and I’ve not come across any boba that wasn’t the right amount of squishy. Can’t speak for the food as I’m pretty single-minded about boba when I go there, but it’s good stuff. Price isn’t any worse than Starbucks, but if you’re not spending a certain amount they’ll charge a lil extra if you’re not paying with cash.

Well this place chage a lot since i been here many times and prices are gotten worst too . This place charge .35 cents more for credit card charge like arco but not just one but multiple times like they need to try other charge point device so that they could past savings for customer. Just fyi this place should go to majir bank to ask charge that very exessive to charge one dring not even gas station xharge that much . Well this the last time coming to this place unless you have cash.thats another thing.
