2/16 12 packs easy win. 24 rolling rocks and I didn't even spend a full 20 dollar bill. The people who work there are cool. They'll actually have a conversation with you if you got a few minutes to kill. Wish more places were like that.

The store has expanded since I last visited. It's now like a lucky lottery store. Several vending machines, good variety of scratchers and snack goodies for movie night.

New staff working there. Hopefully due to new owners! They are positive and kind. Huge change in my experience. I had stopped going there to play the lottery and decided to go due to convenience. I was agitated that evening and the male reacted with nothing but kindness.

This place is a throwback to the good ole days when there were no "big box" stores and the corner liquor store was the place to go and ask what wine's go with what meats or to get professional advice on the difference between 8 single malt scotch or a blended one and the significance of these distinctions. Today's box stores will provide you with an 18 year old clerk who knows nothing about the products they're selling and doesn't care anyway. Good job guys thanks a bunch!

The place to buy lottery tickets when on this side of Burbank! But I can't lie, the customer service from the clerks is at times rude and deplorable! Don't know what it is, but sometimes I think they don't like certain kind of people. I only go there to buy my lottery tixs since I work nearby, nothing more since I've been shown some pretty rude attitude. But hey, it's been a lucky spot, so I'll over look the attitudes.

Been going here for a long time. The previous owner was very rude and the store closed at 5 PM. There is new owners that are very nice and clearly care about their customers. They have turned this business around.

Update as of 9-2-23 they changed ownership looks like they are either persian or armenian owned now they are super friendly no more angry asian owners yay!

I know this place is so popular due to many people winning a huge jackpot here but you would think you would get bad luck from the bad vibes the lady behind cash register puts out. I always say thank you and she stays quiet with an angry look on her face always. Seriously treat people as you would want to be treated. She has such a nasty angry demeanor all the time. What's wrong with smiling everyone in a while and saying you're welcome

The old catchier has a bit of a short temper, especially when you are trying to purchase Lotto tickets, But you find yourself making one or two mistakes, the old catchier has no problem of expressing her-self and letting you have it, "OK !! Sorry", just decided to spend my hard earned money elsewhere, thank you have a nice day

I am only giving 3 stars for the selection of lotto tickets and how many machines they have for the LOTTO. However the lady is so unfriendly it's really a turn off.

They might sell more lottery tickets than any other liquor store. The store is clean with many scratcher machines. Unfortunately, the Asian woman who works there or owns the place, has the personally of road kill.

Such attitude even when you say good morning, the lady has some kind of internal stuff going on. The lottery is why they’re famous so people will always play here. If it’s meant for me to win the big prize it’ll be somewhere else not spending a dime here anymore!

Convenient for lottery tickets but they win the award for being the most unfriendly and actually rude owners. I go out of my way to say hi, how are you, thank you. I'm lucky if I get a grunt. I thought maybe it was a language barrier situation but a smile and hi are kind of universal.

Decided to try this La Paz Liquor place in Burbank. The woman behind the counter was NOT friendly at all. I regret spending $ there; won't be going back there again. Go elsewhere for a better ( winning) experience.

Decent selection of beers yet there are so many people playing the lotto here that it makes it a bit inconvenient to stop off for a beer. Theanagment keeps things moving pretty quick but there's always that one person spending $100 on lotto and you will wait until they spit all the tickets out

I have been here to pick up lottery tickets but the owner has never greeted me or said thank you.She continued to dust the shelves until I got her attention.One of my tickets was a little old and could not be read by the machine and she mumbled something and tossed it on the counter in front of me.I will not be returning

Super friendly staff, the new owner Steve really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond! I am a local and always come in for their huge craft beer selection! Steve always lets me know when they have new options, and normally gets something new every couple of weeks! You can even recommend some options, just be polite and you will be treated the same :)

I have been coming here since I was a kid. The owners have retired and sold the store to some nice guys. They keep a good choice of beer , wine and liquor. Plus they sell a lot of winning lottery tickets

Very rude people. I walked in to buy this wine that I had at a party bc I really liked it, but I couldn't remember the name of it. So I was on my phone looking through Facebook trying to find the post where I mentioned the name. The two owners kept following me around an lingering over me like I was going to steal something. Then the lady rudely asked me "what are you doing here. What do you want" I picked up the pack of wine I thought was right, and I misread the sign as $1.69 per pack, not per bottle. So when she rang me up it came up to $7 and some change and I said that I thought it was $1.69. She gave me an attitude saying "OMG. Seriously? OMG. You have 4 bottles. It's per bottle. Why would I sell it to you for 1.69?" Etc. so I said "well I didn't know, I don't drink everyday so this is my first time actually buying it. I didn't know" she started shaking her head and still saying OMG giving me an attitude. So I said ok ill just take one then. Again he starts giving me an attitude saying "aie aie aie" and I said you know what, never mind i don't want to buy from you i dont like you" and she said I don't like you either.
