Aleppo Grill

I recently had lunch at Aleppo Grill, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The service was lacking, as you have to collect your own food. The food quality was poor, rating just 1 out of 10, with everything seeming frozen and cheaply prepared. Additionally, everything was served in plastic and take-away containers. To top it off, I was overcharged for my order, and when I pointed it out, the cashier claimed it was a mistake. I highly recommend double-checking your bill if you decide to dine here. I certainly won't be returning.

Absolutely the best grill I've had in the states. I lived in the Middle East, so I don't say this lightly.
Everything is fabulous, we got the mix grill and chicken shawarma plate.
The chicken was flavourful and the beef sheesh was tender and the hummus was creamy.
If you enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine, you absolutely cannot miss this hidden gem.

The food was less pricey but the portions were a bit smaller then I'm used to. Also the shawarma wrap wasn't the best (even with the garlic sauce that it comes with on the side), but the shawarma plate had a lot of flavour! I swapped out the salad for the tabouleh and it was decent. The rice was really good standalone on the plate and I couldn't get enough of it.

The cashier seemed a little snarky but it could have been me reading the situation wrong. Something just felt a little off in the interaction of ordering my food.

Overall the food was good though. Probably a great take out option! Covid friendly and very very very clean. Received all the necessary utensils and I like how they don't overly waste plastic on packaging the food items. The patio was also clean and tented too.

Worst place ever . I go to this place only for the beef wraps. I don’t like anything else from there. I ordered two beef wraps to go, and when the order was ready, this male called out to beef wraps so I went home and when I bit into it, I noticed it was chicken so I called them back and I tell them and they say OK. You could come pick up the beef ones. Getting there, they asked me where the chicken one was and I said well we bit into it and noticed it was chicken. I didn’t think that we had to bring it back and they trying to say that I ordered chicken when I didn’t because first of all my boyfriend is allergic so it would never come out of my mouth . And the male guy there who took my order without giving me a receipe which is my mistake started yelling at me loudly and very aggressively . He started yelling saying that why I didn’t bring the chicken back and that I have to pay the difference now and with all that being said, I told him why are you being disrespectful for me because you guys made a mistake and demanding me to pay the difference literally scaring me looked like he wanted to jump the counter and grab me . And he said get out of here now !!!! Like I literally work nine hour shifts every day I am full-time student literally was hungry so hungry today didn’t eat all day. Had just gotten home to relax and eat and for this to happen and for him to think that I would actually be lying to get free food is beyond me people nowadays are so stingy And so rude for no reason I really do not have time to be faking that I said be for said chicken whatever they’re making it seem like I said . I don’t have time for that. I wanted to order what I wanted to order. They really thought I wanted to come back and asked for the beef and I came in very nicely. I was like OK well they made a mistake, but they couldn’t own up to it so they took it out on me as a customer and on top of that I paid almost $30. we had an amazing very tasty meal in Aleppo kitchen .. everything was cooked the right way and I highly recommend this place to whoever really miss the Syrian food and want to have an unforgettable meal .. the staff is very friendly and nice .. we waited like 10 mnts to get our order and that was super fast .. we're glad we tried this restaurant and it definitely won't be the last time.

Such an amazing place!!! Everytime I go to Burbank I HAVE to get shawerma wraps from here. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is over the top. The owner is such a sweetheart and is always super nice and accommodating. Love love love coming here, I totally recommend.

I had never heard of foool/foul, but I m glad I branched out and tried it!! Man, it was delicious! I still am not totally sure what it was - a stew? A soup? A warm salad? Whatever it was, it was garlicky deliciousness that I will search for again. I m converted. I might even be addicted. The only thing that was left to be desired was some thicker pita/bread. The thin pita was not very good at soaking up the soup. But maybe that s just how it s supposed to go? I wouldn t know. The beef shish kabob plate was also fantastic. The meat was so tender and the rice, super tasty!

Absolutely the best grill Ive had in the states. I lived in the Middle East, so I dont say this lightly. Everything is fabulous, we got the mix grill and chicken shawarma plate. I ve done the Armenian, the Persian, the Lebanese, the Palestinian, but nothing compares to the Shawarma my Syrians make. Wallahi hands down the best Shawarma I ve had in many years and I m Middle Eastern myself. This place is owned by a sweet Syrian family that have LITERALLY fed me the entire summer of 2023 while I was doing my internship in LA. Every bite of their chicken shawarma felt like the morning of Eid (iykyk), the shawarma is explosive with flavor and warm spices, the garlic sauce slaps, make sure to add fries bc that s the only way to do it people! I can go days writing about how these wraps saved my mental health but honestly no one wants to hear that, just go try this place and you won t regret it!

Best falafel I ve ever had: crispy, moist, more of a patty shape instead of a big ball, pita wrap tasted fresh, there was fresh mint, pickles, chopped lettuce and tomatoes, and every bite had just the right amount of dressing (sesame tahini sauce)! I will eat there everything I m in town and I would also drive a distance to eat there as well.

Stopped by this restaurant today was doing work in the area one of the most delicious chicken shawarma wraps Ive ever tasted. Thank you so much will definitely be back here again when Im in the area. I ended up getting chicken shawarma wrap no tomato no pickle add cucumber absolutely delicious.

We love Aleppo! Every time we order for the office (20+ people), we have full attendance and comments on how wonderful the food is. Its always delivered on time (literally, down to the very minute), hot, and delicious. Its the first place we consider catering every time an occasion arises. Freddy, the owner, is great and very helpful. Cant recommend this place enough!

It s been a while since I had hummus this good the sesame flavor of the tahini really comes through. Nice, crispy falafel with a soft and warm interior. The whipped garlic sauce is pretty flavorful too. I d recommend the pickled veggies. Peaceful outdoor seating. If I lived in LA I d definitely come back.

Refreshing service for Mediterranean food here. I placed my dinner order online, received the order ETA, and picked it up on time. The gentleman that I received the Chicken Shawarma from was very friiendly and I was on my was quickly. While I drove home with the food, my car was filled with an awesome aroma that made it hard to drive! When I got home, everything tasted great. The chicken was juicy, with plenty of flavor, and was gone in minutes! Will be back for more~!

Best most authentic Syrian Shawarma wrap in California!! After a long drive from the bay area I was so happy to come across this place. Their shawarma might taste little different from what you usually have at other places but only because at Aleppo kitchen they keep it original and tastier! Very friendly staff too. A friend who lives around the area recommended this place to me and it is officially my go to lunch spot. The food is consistent and absolutely delicious, the garlic sauce is the cherry on top! I m a big fan of customer service and this restaurant does not seem to fail me. Food and service is top notch. I can tell it is family operated and you can feel they truly care about their customers. I recommend this restaurant 100%.

Been to a few middle eastern restaurants in my lifetime but I never reviewed any simply because they always seem to screw up a dish or two ( seasoning Tabouleh with cinnamon is a big no no)!! Yes Im very critical and it made me stop going to those restaurants...the price you pay for being Lebanese and raised there!! Having just said that and based on a friends recommendation, we went to Aleppo Kitchen in Burbank! Were hooked, I mean this very casual order and sit eatery blew our mind and delivered flavor in spades!!! We practically ordered all thats on offer, and every single dish was a 5 out of 5, and our grand finale Kibbeh Nayeh was sublime! Last but not least, the owners were kind, accommodating and prepared everything a la minute! Go there any chance you get, but go hungry lol Thank you Aleppo Kitchen for a very memorable meal and your outdoor seating was just perfect

Service is quiet but the food is great Everything is fresh cook. I enjoy my mix grill with hummus and garlic paste with pitas bread, rice, grill beef, grill chicken, beef shawarma and grill tomatoes. The salad was good with this great different dressing..and the cheese rolls are amaizing.. thank you great lunch for affordable price. Great fresh food.

I usually don t write many reviews, but WOW! If you are in LA, you MUST visit the BURBANK location! Their food is off the charts good! One of the best I ve ever had in the US. Staff and owners are so kind and nice! Food came out quick and prompt (and we ordered a lot of food)! And most importantly, it was DELICIOUS!! I don t know the owners personally, I m a normal walk in customer, but honestly, it was worth the 6 hour drive down from the Bay Area just for this place! Again, if you want quality Middle East/Syrian/Lebanese/Mediterranean style food, the BURBANK location is it! Aleppo s Kitchen in Anaheim, CA is a different restaurant with different owners from what I understand. That one is good I ve tried it, but I honestly feel this place is WAY better and better priced so please don t mistake my review for the Anaheim location, Burbank is where you wanna be! Please don t hesitate to reach out for more information! Happy eating!

Delicious, authentic, healthy food that reminded me of grandmas food. Clean Restaurant. Service was acceptable but not phenomenal. Just be advised they dont have a public restroom, my GF had to go to Starbucks next door to use the restroom. Otherwise, no issues at all. The quality of the food and taste make up for any minor flaws such as no restroom... We are going back real soon and taking some friends to introduce to this place.

Honestly one of the best restaurants in all of LA. The food is phenomenal and the employees care so much about the quality of the food and your experience. A true diamond in the rough. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

I knew the food would be good when i heard the customers around me not speaking English!!! Locals only go where the food is good. Nice people. Excellent food at good prices. You will not be disappointed. I am happy to support this family business!

Every time I come the food is the same - excellent!!! Their falafel now sets a high bar. Any time I bite into any falafel, I always measure it against Aleppo s falafel. None has since measured up! The foul is magnificent. Make sure you get that tahini! The veggie platter has a bit of it all. The fatoush is fabulous. And the owners are really cool. Not a meat eater but my sources confirm the chicken is amazingly tender and succulent. Support them!!!

Good food but horrible customer service. The guy on the cashier was offended when my friend told him that he ordered beef kabab not chicken kabab and he argued with him about that. He simply could have said I am sorry for this confusion and give him some sweet to apologize. But customer service is something hard to learn.

So noramally I do not take to the internet to say how good a food location is but this one needs to be heard. The food is always prepared with top notch recipes from what can be described as old school methods that was from the days of old and gifted from generation to generation. The food is not only so fresh and satisfying the staff is extremely friendly as if you are at a family friends house for a grand feast of good times and good eats. Love this place and for sure is worth your time and money.
