Amazing food and amazing service! We had the beef kabob, lamb kabob, luleh, and barg kabob. All of the meat was quite tender and flavorful. The rice was fluffy and the vegetables were very fresh.

They were so kind and offered us some free appetizers since it was our first time. They gave the cucumber salad, hummus, and eggplant dip. It was some of the best eggplant I've ever had and the cucumber salad was very refreshing. The hummus was the perfect creamy compliment to the meat and pita.

Truly a family feel to the restaurant and I would absolutely bring my friends and family here. Highly recommend!!

Arrived in Burbank from Tennessee and we were hungry for one our most favorite food--Persian. Had our daughter and granddaughter order a variety and we certainly were not disappointed. The family owners are super nice and know how to cook and deliver the best of quality. Someday we hope to be back. We had enough leftover for at least two of us to have another full meal. 🙏
Our meal consisted of:
Luleh kabab (ground beef with Persian spices) made in a kabob,
Gormeh Sabzi with black-eyed peas (to me, much better than the fed kidney bean), barberry rice and rice with a saffron coating, Persian salad, Cucumber yogurt, Hummus, Eggplant dip, Naan, yogurt drink (doogh that my granddaughter and I tried. Could not even drink it all because of all the food and tea!), and finally hot Persian tea,
with baklava made with pistachios and honey.
I would have preferred chicken or lamb rather than the Cornish hen but delicious nonetheless. 😋

The young lady greeted me, was super nice, I ordered the lamb kabob, and it was delicious. The owner brought me a sample of Baba ganush & humass with some lavish. It was delicious.
I would suggest to the owner, when an individual eating alone or May be a couple, they should put an option to add sample size of the hamuss & babaganush etc for ,$0.50 or $1.00 each; what ever they think is reasonable for their customers as well for the owner.

My Bookclub had a Wonderful meeting & and delicious meal at this lovely Family owned restaurant.
There were 12 of Us Ladies & we were treated So Well! Our Server Lily was Efficient, Friendly & Helpful!
Our Food came out Timely & Hot! Mmm!
We All Loved the Hummus, Eggplant, & Cucumber dip w/pita to start. Oh, the Grape leaves were the Best I ever had! Yum!
My Cornish he Kabob was so tender & flavorful! Our entire group were full & satisfied.
I even ordered both the Lamb & Beef kabob dinners to take home. And of course more Hummus & cucumber dip.
I feel the prices were reasonable & the service impeccable!

What a fantastic find! The family went shopping at the nearby center and we came upon this gem for lunch. We are all so happy we did. The service was great the food amazing and the chill music and atmosphere was so nice on a hot day. We will be back every time we come to Burbank. It’s that good!!! We loved this restaurant so very much. We stopped here while on a road trip and were delighted with the fresh, flavorful food for a good price. The barberry and sour cherry rice - wow! Salmon kabobs were delicious. And the baklava! The owner was our favorite part. What a wonderful person. I highly recommend this place.

First time visit tonight. I'm usually not into this lane of food but I have to say all of this was outstanding. The beef kabob was a lean cut perfectly seasoned and marinated enough to be very tender, it was evenly cooked med+. Might be one of the best pieces of steak I've had in a minute. Servings were generous. Lilly our server was attentive and very helpful. Our family will be back. Places like this make it very easy to support local business so support your local business.

The Cafe is spotless and airy - nice flow to it! Our meals were full of flavour; tender juicey lamb and beef combo with perfectly steamed veggies & saffron rice. A delightful yogurt soup and appetizers of freshly made smoked eggplant, hummus, tabouleh, zsatziki with fresh pita bread plus a crisp Persian salad. Presentation was everything! We chose Persian ice cream for dessert, rich and creamy with lots of pistachios. We rounded this all off with hot Persian tea.
Thank you to the young lady server who was warm, friendly and so very helpful. We also came away with a takeout order of Persian baklava. Goodness to the last flake!!
We highly recommend this place and would definitely return.

I used to get take out for the lunch specials years ago and finally had a chance to have dinner at Cafe Elegante a few weekends ago. I was soo impressed by the wonderful service and really enjoyed the shish kebab. It was soo tender and juicy. What a great restaurant run by a sweet family. Keep it up!

Great experience. We were in Burbank for three days and we ate here twice. The food is excellent as is the service. Loved the red pepper eggplant and the hummus dips. The kabobs are incredible. If you’re in the area it’s worth the visit.

This is my mother's favorite Mediterranean restaurant and she doesn't venture out of her Korean American bubble... she says that the beef is so soft and tender... and she doesn't quite find that anywhere else.

I was very pleasant surprised when I was taken here by a dear friend of mine. From the outside, I would never have guessed the spaciousness and delicate ambiance found inside. The waitress could not have been more welcoming, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I will be back whenever I am out this way again. I had a very good experience here.

Deserves “0”, but I have to choose 1 Star. Walked in at 7:58pm on 08/31/19 and the waitress walks up as we were waiting to be seated. She said the kitchen is closed with a grin on her face...Sorry. I said you close at 9 pm. She said not tonight we are closing early. My wife and I are so furious that we got a babysitter and chose to eat here to be told THE KITCHEN IN CLOSED! Are you kidding me!!!!! I will never ever come back and I will tell all our friends and family to NOT consider eating at this place. I will even post on my daughters social media of 30,000+ followers to never eat here! We always try to support mom and pop business but to be so rude to us and NO SIGN ON THE DOOR SAYING “we’re closing early tonight” I am just floored and completely disappointed .

Cafe Elegante has delicious Persian food/kababs at reasonable prices. The restaurant has an older decor and feels cheap but if you can ignore that then you'll enjoy great food. Its in the corner of a plaza but easy to see from Glenoaks BLVD, a major street in Burbank, and visible from Lincoln. There's plenty of parking in the lot and the streets. It has a fee tables for outside seating. The yogurt with cucumber is my favorite appetizer.!
