This place is amazing. Food is delicious. Lots of different flavor flavors. They take time to settle things and explain how it all works. If you’d like lots of Mediterranean food, you’re definitely going to love them.

Very friendly staff, this is my 1st time at the location and the staff guide me step by step, describe each and every item of the menu, finally I got a chicken bowl, my food was fresh and a good amount but I think it’s a bit of pricey! I got a protein bowl almost $19 which is basically a salad bowl with hummus spread.

1st time going there tonight. Used to live in the Middle East and now live in Hawaii. Been craving authentic Middle Eastern food for a while, and found it here, in Burbank, on a visit. Amazing food. Falafel is freshly made. We had a great experience, and for sure going back when we visit again.

Service is really great here and very informative. The food is fresh and healthy. The decor is very simplistic and appealing to the eye. The drinks are also very refreshing. I had the chicken Shawarma bowl. Super yummy will be back.

Located at the Burbank Mall. Has plenty of indoor seating as well as outdoor patio.
Upon entering, we were warmly greeted. They explained the ordering process which is very simple.
We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap using the spinach tortilla. They also have a smaller size "pocket" and a bowl option if you don't want any bread.
They have several types of spreads like hummus. You can pick up to three spreads. They also offer spinach, arugula, rice, couscous, and garbanzo beans. The final station has multiple toppings like tomatoes, and olives. Then there's a green and red got sauce that are actually spicy so I just got them in the side in a separate container.

The wrap is HUGE! I think it's enough for two people.

The ingredients are fresh and very tasty.

Unfortunately, they don't have a closer location to where I live. They had one in El Segundo that's much closer but sadly they closed it down.

Would definitely return next time I'm in that part of town.

Poor customer service penny pinchers
Ordered a wrap when I sat down at their establishment I noticed that there was an obnoxious amount of oil grease soaking right through the wrapper. I politely asked if they would please make me a new one of the guys said no!
Knowing that I had been up to now a frequent customer he rather save some pennies by not making me a new wrap than to maintain a frequent customer. Poor business practice and by the way some AC would be nice it’s always stuffy in there and use better salad greens they are always dead looking.

Me and my mother came here for lunch and were both greeted immediately by the employee and who I believe is the owner. Friendlyband informative they told us of the options and we both got bowls. You can mix and match with a rice, couscous, chickpea, or fresh greens base (I got them all). I got crazy feta, traditional hummus, and we got falafel (which the worker made fresh for us) and the chicken schwarma. There are so many fresh toppings (definitely try the crunchy chickpeas) and I got the ginger turmeric lemonade. I took half mine to go there was so much food. I definitely reccomend, you get fresh quality food for a great price and fast. There is a parking structure that is free for 2 hours a short walk away and it's around a cute outdoor shopping area.

I'm pretty sure the man that took my order was the owner. He was very nice & took the time to explain the menu and how to order. 😊 It is a lot of food and will definitely fill you up and have leftovers. They also have healthy juices, like turmeric ginger lemonade! I thoroughly enjoyed my food & will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Today, I ordered food from Hummus Republic located in Burbank! Food came and one order "street style sweet potato" was missing!! I called in and spoke with Jason!! Informed him about the missing food after putting me on hold for 10 min. He confessed that they messed up and forgot to send the food!! I asked him to deliver it but he simply said Sorry they dont have driver to send the food!!!!! He also asked me to call in the morning and talk to the owner "Arbi" and explain him the situation and ask him for refund!!!!!!! Like pure Joke!!!! My first and last time ordering food from this place!!! This is not the way to do business!!!! People pay and they want to be served correctly!!!!

Really good food but make sure they charge you for what you got! Ive been there twice, and both times they tried to charge me for a bowl ($14.95) when I got a pita wrap which is supposed to be $11.95. It sucks becuase I really like this place but its annoying to have to check the recipt every time I go.

EDIT: They have taken this into account and have never charged me over the ammount again. Amazing food I reccomend to everyone who stops by the burbank mall. I reccomend trying their different lemonade flavors!

I am a fan of hummus and falafel and this establishment never disappoints!

It is also a great meeting location if you are coming to Beautiful Downtown Burbank and it is a short 5 min. walk from the parking structure on Orange Grove.

Best casual dining restaurant in LA.

Do you like Tex mex? Yeah, well, I did, but now I’m over it after having this.

There’s a new player in town and I’m putting my mouth where my money is (or where it goes to say the least).

Hummus Republic.

Andy provides exceptional upbeat service with a superior healthy vegan product. He is very accommodating and hospitable. I get the falafel bowl, with a warm grilled pita bread on the side, with a mix of couscous, garbanzo beans, three kinds of hummus spreads, toasted chick peas, a grilled jalapeño, grilled eggplant, freshly prepared 6 falafels balls, topped with an array of salads and veggies, chile sauce and vegan dressings. Mmmm. I’m making myself hungry again just writing this. And I just finished a bowl!

I highly recommend this place. and let the experience speak for itself. This place is incredible! Generous portions ( somebody get me a stretcher), and very delicious foods. I never walk out hungry. There are plenty of vegan options. I will definitely be back! ( And I have definitely been back! ) This is an amendment to my original post. (And yes, my enthusiasm authentically matches the taste and experience of enjoying this food. )

I give it three because the people their were super friendly. I got the bowl with everything on it. The food was alright. The falafel were dry. The chicken was over cooked too much seasoning. With my drink it came down to $19 pretty pricey.

Hummus Republic catered my dad’s birthday. It was seamless, delicious, fresh, and affordable. I can’t say enough nice things about the sweet people who work here and made sure everything was perfect. Delivery was perfectly on time and easy, even though our location was hard to find.

This place needs to have rice. I’ve never seen a Mediterranean restaurant with no rice option. Who wants that dried up tasteless couscous and most people avoid wheat these days which is what couscous is made from. Not nutritional at all. Flavors of the overall bowls is good but the portion is extremely inconsistent depending on who’s working and what mood they’re in. Many items always run low or are completely out no matter what time you go at.

You must eat here! I arrived at my hotel, found my favorite place to order delivery from only to see that they aren’t delivering today. I now have 2 favorite places!
I got the Moroccan Steak Bowl. I was starving so I way over ordered but it’s still so good. It looks just as good as the pictures. The lemonade is even amazing!
Fabulous customer service from the restaurant too! Very nice when I called to ask questions.

The employees working at the counter were really nice and helpful even though we came in 20 minutes before close. The food was delicious and fresh. It's similar to Cava, a mediterranean build your own bowl place. I'd say these guys are doing it better. I'll definitely come back!

Such a gem in downtown burbanks. The food is very filling and tasty with great variety and the staff is really friendly. I got a bowl, with falafel and steak mix on cuscus and mixed greens and i think the crunchy chickpeas took it to the next level. The lemonades were really refreshing too. I highly suggest this place and wish there was one closer to me

This place! So glad I randomly picked it for lunch with friends. It's so GOOD! It's a chipotle style service where you pick the ingredients you want in your bowl/wrap/pita as you go along. Everything we had was super tasty. Most things there are super healthy and vegetarian/vegan friendly. The very friendly owner was there as well and came to check on our table. I will definitely be back and can't recommend this place enough!

It's good, but I wouldn't say it's great. It's a delicious meal whether you go with the wrap or the salad you should be good. They have a staple of meat with some vegetarian options including a mushroom alternative which is pretty delicious.

By far too 3 place I have ever eaten at on a trip, the employees were extremely kind, and didn’t hesitate with their portions. It also had a great atmosphere and you can clearly tell the fresh quality of all the food, they even gave us falafels straight from the oil. 11/10

Gentlemen asked me if it was my first time visiting, then proceeded to walk me through each station. Great options! ThinK Mediterranean chipotle. I went with a 95% vegan bowl (one sauce had cheese 😝) built my way. Too much to explain what I liked on, but wide selection of options. The bowl it piled high and reasonably priced. And, overall the flavors were pleasant. I judge a place as to if I would return and I can say I certainly will. Good, friendly service and food. Nah

Found this place whilst walking to the Chipotle. So glad we did!!!! It’s delicious & friendly. I didn’t realize it wasn’t 100% vegan/plant based, so I asked for the chicken shawarma, thinking it was “chicken”. But it’s real chicken & on realizing that I didn’t eat that, he IMMEDIATELY remade my bowl, no question, no problem! This place is a gem!! And everyone can be happy, even if your group has vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters. 10/10 recommend!! Oh, and the falafels are FABULOUS!

Great Vegan Options, the real meat looks great but haven't tried. Everything is fresh. THE BEST PITA CHIPS

Incredible, incredible service. Friendly. Always “apologizing” if there’s a bit of a (normal!) wait. Portions as large or small as you desire. Customizable! Delicious roasted jalapeños, fire feta, and other hummus/sauces. The vegan beef is great as well as falafel for us vegetarians. Compostable nearly everything (including plastic cups.) Can’t say enough good things about this place and (who I think is) the owner.

5 stars easily! This place is fantastic. Truly. Veggies were fresh, portions were huge for the bowl and the flavors were delicious. Absolutely recommend and the owner is super kind and exactly the type of person you want to support when it comes to local business.

I was on my way to Chipotle but I saw Hummus Republic and remmebered that my vegan friend said this was one of his favorites, so I went in. I was a little nervous but the man behind the counter, Arby, was so friendly, energetic, and helpful. I tried some new thing and didn't know if I'd like it but I LOVED it. 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5.you could probably combine anything there no matter how different and still love the result. Honestly this place is pretty great and I'm probably gonna come back soon. Food and service are *chef's kiss* awesome.

Great customer service, very personable owner. Came here on a diet, and the food is fantastic. The lemon chicken is bomb.
