I was craving Mediterranean food and we were in the area so we decided to give Sotta a try. My husband and I were blown away and so impressed we shared a chicken kabob plate and a salmon wrap with a side of tzatziki, hummus, and garlic sauce. The proteins were juicy and so flavorful, and you could tell the veggies were fresh, especially the pickled radish and pickles inside the wrap We got a matcha and a chai latte afterwards, and Helen who served us did such a great job explaining the menu to us, adjusting our drinks to exactly the way we liked it, and accommodating my allergies and needs as a pregnant woman. The service alone by Helen makes me want to come back and tell all my friends about this place! The atmosphere was clean and orderly. I wish I lived closer because I d definitely become a regular. Next time I want to try their fried and lentil soup

I loved the atmosphere, staff friendliness, and menu variety. I had salmon from a skewer, the seasoning was great but the cooked fish was almost mushy. Not tender super soft squares. It was as though they had been extremely ground down then cooked. So there was no fish or flaky texture. But the flavor and seasoning was good. Hope you enjoy it.

First time and last time eating here. Had the Ground Sirloin Kabob, it wasn t spiced properly and tasted strange. I love a good beef or lamb kabob so I was pretty disappointed. The pita bread wasn t home made, seemed store bought (Costco would be my guess). Terrible. Rice was not good either. They were kind enough to bring me some veggies because I didn t realize they don t come with the kabob and usually cost extra. The veggies were bland and didn t taste fresh or have much flavor at all. The raspberry lemonade was artificial tasting and way too sweet. By the end of the day I had a lot of stomach problems, so I m guessing it was either the veggies or very low quality meat in the kabob. The only thing I enjoyed was the shot of espresso I ordered, which was top tier. The girl who took my order and brought it to the table was also very nice.

Came here to try their food because of great reviews, and g reviews do not lie, it was worth the drive. The plates came with pita bread, rice or salad plus 2 sides (I got the lamb chop with broccoli salad, eggplant side , and hubby got the salmon with grilled veggies and sautéed mushroom). Water is grab your own, but service was good. I was shocked when I received my plate because the portion was honestly massive, 4 small lamb chops, along with salad, hummus, eggplant, and broccoli salad. Food itself tastes refreshing, tangy, and is perrrrfect for us after a long day of universal studio park food (greasy and unhealthy lol). There were lots of people having dinner here on a Thursday night, mostly locals, too. I highly highly recommend this place for its food, service, and value!

In Burbank, nestled between the usual suburban fare, lies a hidden gem that promises a culinary voyage worth taking. Sotta, a Mediterranean haven, is not just a restaurant its an experience that transcends the commonplace. We walked in and immediately knew we made a great decision. From the vast coffee selection to the tantalizing fresh baked bars, pies, and treats, your first inclination is to enjoy a sweet treat and cup of espresso. Fortunately, there is a wonderful dining menu that delivers on taste and size. We ordered various plates including chicken kebab, lamb, and a salmon salad. The meats were tender and the sides were perfect accompaniments. The Shirazi salad was refreshing and paired well with the creamy yogurt with cucumbers and basmati rice. The salmon was seared perfectly and the Caesar dressing was light and balanced out the salad. Our orders took a few minutes to be ready, but considering we ordered the lamb, a short wait was to be expected. Just before we left we peeked back over at the desserts and decided on a delicious apricot bar. It was a perfect way to end a wonderful lunch.

I walk into the restaurant with my service dog and ask if I can sit down. There were two young women employees working at the front who would not allow me to sit inside and were extremely rude about it. I had to then inform them about the law and asked to speak to their manager. I was eventually given a table but the manager was not apologetic or sympathetic at all to the situation. This comes as a shock to me as I used to love this place, but now I dont feel like I can go nor feel welcomed anymore.

There are a lot of good Mediterranean places in Los Angeles so it s hard for any establishment to separate itself from the pack. Sotta is that rare gem that rises above the rest. Their kabobs are high quality meat, always plump, juicy and flavorful. The sides are not afterthoughts, instead they are carefully curated works of art. Finally, their desert selection is unparalleled, from the cookies, to the tarts, to the piece de resistance- the key lime pie. I hereby proclaim Sotta, the best in Los Angeles.

Dont skip out on the special signature Café beverages, and take your time looking into that dessert case for some inspiring cravings after your meal. Its a popular stop for the local neighborhood walkers, people with bicycles, and a dog-friendly sidewalk al fresco dining area up at the front of the entrance seems to be the most popular place to be!!!

I love the concept of Sotta. A causal coffee spot with a nice variety of Mediterranean plates, wraps and salads. It s great being able to walk down the street from my office, order an Americano, and enjoy a Chicken Shawarma wrap. The interior is sleek and clean and the staff I ve encountered have all been nice. Everything here is pretty tasty. The chicken Shawarma and Kabob wrap or plate, are my usual go to. For sides, they serve nice fluffy pita bread, solid hummus, and a delicious garlic sauce. They even managed to make me appreciate dolmas, which I used to think were revolting (although I had only tried canned dolmas). I ve only been disappointed once since coming here. Unfortunately the chicken I ordered was a little pink. They didn t give me my money back, but they did prepare the meal again and it came out properly cooked. If it wasn t for that, I d give this place 5-stars. I ll still be a regular customer of Sotta, and my rating may change. I recommend giving this place a try!

They put a yogurt type sauce on it which I wasn t expecting and not a huge fan of. The regular chicken skewer pieces are much tastier. Get the double side dishes as it s only a dollar more than getting only one side dish. The desserts appeal more visually than they do to taste. Next time I ll pass on this and just stick with the meal. The garlic spread they give you on the side is excellent. The soup we had was also very good. Limited parking in the back. If you like Mediterranean, Persian style food, this place is delicious. Friendly people, fairly affordable for the quality of food, especially. It s a nice looking, but laid back (not upscale) place. Use the easy parking in back or the street.
