The Kebab Shop

This was the best Greek food I have ever had. The wrap was absolutely massive, probably 2x the size of other Greek shops. They have a sauce bar where you can get as much of the different sauces as you like, and the Greek fries with feta, garlic yogurt, and pickled onion are a must! Service was fantastic from the manager Ronald and his team, and the restaurant was very clean. I’m from Eastern Washington and will be looking for this shop the next time I’m in Cali!!

Soooooo gooodd. Explosion of flavors from all the ingredients. I got the bowl and it is amazing!!! The chicken was tender and well cooked. The yogurt was mwahh and the saffron rice is to die for. Service is awesome! Thank you Dustin and Bella for serving up some great food!!

I recently visited TKS in Encino and was underwhelmed by the lamb and rice dish, so I left a review on Google expressing my disappointment. Their team reached out to me, asking for another chance to impress me, and generously offered a coupon. I decided to visit their Burbank location, and I'm glad I did. I opted for the chicken and beef kebab, and while the chicken was slightly dry, the flavors were delightful. The rice was much more flavorful compared to their Encino location, and the staff seemed more enthusiastic. Their spicy hummus is absolutely delicious, and their sauce station, which is free, is one of the best in town. Needless to say, I'll definitely be returning!

This place exceeded my expectations. My coworkers took me here, and I ended up really enjoying it. I ordered the plate with beef and lamb and appreciated the generous portions. Thus was my first experience at any TKS. I was greeted by Sean at the front. When he heard that it was my first time, he was patient, friendly and provided a rundown of the menu options.

I ordered the plate with grilled steak, fire hummus and a Greek salad. I really wanted to try the lamb so I ordered a side of that too.

When my order was ready, the chef, Mike was very friendly.

I tried the spicy cilantro and the garlic yogurt sauce. Since I already had the spicy hummus, I didn't want the spicy chili sauce. Both of them were really good. I eat out a lot and almost all of the restaurants are really cracking down by charging for sauces and dressings. This place didn't do that. Another plus!

Both meats were very tender and tasty. I like the fact that Sean asked how well I wanted the steak cooked. I was never given that option when ordering steak at other Mediterranean restaurants.

Before I finished my meal, I saw Sean go to each customer table to make sure that everything was ok. This was a touch more like a fancier restaurant than a fast food chain. I could tell that the other customers appreciated his concern. This was a very nice touch.

All in all, I am a big fan of this location in Burbank. I will surely be back.

I won't be able to come as often as I would like due to the economy, but you do get very generous portions for the amount charged. I saw a few others get the wrap, and they were huge!

Also, I came close to closing and unlike other restaurants, they did not chase me out of the door. Much appreciated.

Edit/Update: 7/11/2024
I have now been coming back regularly ever since I wrote my initial review. My only complaint is that the sauces get taken away to the back room hours before they close. While you still can get sauce from the counter, it is in the really small cups so I have to get a whole bunch. This is somewhat embarrassing and it is really a waste of plastic. When the sauces are available by the soda machine, I can just pump it onto my plate and not have to waste so much plastic.

The other issue is that while I understand the want for customers to use the self ordering screen, it does not allow the input of the rewards points number (or allow the ability to redeem accumulated points). It also does not allow any specialty comments like "no Feta" or make the steak medium rare... Therefore it is useless to me.

LOVE this place! The food is excellent, the staff is noticeably friendly and kind and updlbeat, I've had really good interactions there! Points system they have adds up too, gotten quite a few freebies. Do wish their sauce containers were a bit bigger because I'm slightly obsessed with them , but it's such a solid place to grab a delicious meal!

Well, yes i am from middle east.
First of all the size of wrap is so good but!!!
It contains 20% of meat and 80% of salad.
I paid 18$ to get only wrap with fries.
This is not acceptable

In any middle eastern country if they serve you this you will get beaten 😂 i promise

Last night I visited the Kebab shop in Burbank. I love going to the Kebab shop, best Mediterranean food ever. Last night, I went to the Burbank location and it was the best time ever. Dustin was the cashier who assisted my fiancée and I, and he was beyond helpful. He helped out with food suggestion, brought us our food and offered all sauces. Along with what we ordered, the kale salad was delicious. If I can go all places that offer service like his, I’d definitely go.

Amazing food and super customer service! This was our first time here and Bella helped us through our order :) the super duper was enormous! It would like two meals for a standard portion or one very large meal for someone hungry. I enjoyed both the chicken and lamb as they both were flavorful and not dry like some kebab places. Also, the unlimited sauces are incredible. Hope to come again whenever I'm in the area.

I'm teacher and had only 30 minutes to have lunch so I was in a hurry. Once I enter the shop a lady named Arpi welcomed me with a smile, answerd all my questions like I said I was in a rush hungry and had no idea what to ask for. She helped me with patience and suggested me a fries bowl steak. The vegetables where fresh the meat cooked to perfection everything was amazing. I have had a few negative experiences with other employees in other restaurants but I feels so good when you are well treated, welcomed and the employees are willing to do anything to make your experience unique. So I have to take out of my busy time to complement this girl. Honestly you did amazing thanks so much Arpi

4.5 stars. I got a bowl with a mix of meat and fries that was rather dry but tasted okay. Could have used more yogurt sauce and/or add tomatoes to help mask the dryness. I'm sad the bowls dont come with tomatoes by default. I wish the fries that came in the bowl were a little thicker cut like in Europe, thinking of doner kebab or souvlaki specifically, but I guess each kebab place has their own style and culture :) Now on to the good stuff! The cilantro jalapeño sauce is amazing! The portions are huge! And Bella is an absolute gem - super knowledgeable, friendly, personable! The good outweighs my picky preferences, so I'll definitely be back! I had no idea there was a kebab place within walking distance of my work. Super happy 😃

This is the second time coming to this location and my partner and I look forward coming here all the time. Not only do we look forward to the quality of the food, but the exceptional quality of service the employees give. Bella and Rubio were extremely hospitable and attentive today! I appreciated that Bella was very knowledgeable of the menu and provided me all the options they offered at their location.
My partner ordered the carved lamb beef plate with the saffron rice and Greek salad which was all very flavorful. 10/10!
And I ordered the carved chicken wrap with both types of onions (pickled and raw sliced onions) and their tortilla was one of my favorite parts of the wrap!

The restaurant was very clean and we love the open sauce bar! This will definitely be one of our regular spots!

Came on here just to shout out Dustin! He was so helpful, nice, and made sure that we had a great experience. He made some great suggestions and was able to answer all of our questions. Today was my second time eating at this spot and I was not happy. I ordered a steak wrap thinking it was going to be good and I was disappointed. Their steak was more like a vegetarian wrap. There was more vegetables than steak. There were actually 5 pieces of steak only. Plus they charge for a small amount of rice. My total bill came up to around $20. This place is definitely not worth the price. It’s definitely over charge. I will not be coming back anytime soon.

I ordered a falafel wrap with standard toppings and it was delicious!! I would add a little extra yogurt sauce next time but it wasn’t dry by any means. Also, the cilantro/jalapeño sauce is killer. I found myself on their website dreaming of my next order…!

I normally do not write many reviews. I took this opportunity to say how great the service/food is at Burbank location. I visited on Tues, and had the steak kebab, rice and kale salad which was recommended by Bella. It was delicious! Mike did an awesome job cooking my steak to perfection! So I returned today (Thurs) to have the same meal but double protein portion--cause it was that good! They are super nice and really focus on customer service. I will definitely go back!
PS: I'll be suggesting this spot and will place catering orders for work related lunches in the near future.

Just came in for a quick lunch and expected your usual small size kebab wrap. Nope! This place made a huge - I would say 1 foot in length - of a wrap that was full of protein. Service was awesome and quick and the place feels super clean. It was a nice surprise and I’m definitely coming back here for my lunches.

I recently visited TKS in Encino and was underwhelmed by the lamb and rice dish, so I left a review on Google expressing my disappointment. Their team reached out to me, asking for another chance to impress me, and generously offered a coupon. I decided to visit their Burbank location, and I'm glad I did. I opted for the chicken and beef kebab, and while the chicken was slightly dry, the flavors were delightful. The rice was much more flavorful compared to their Encino location, and the staff seemed more enthusiastic. Their spicy hummus is absolutely delicious, and their sauce station, which is free, is one of the best in town. Needless to say, I'll definitely be returning!

Food is decent but definitely overpriced for what a kebab wrap should be. Staff is friendly and helpful, but I had to wait 20 mins for just a wrap

Came in for the first time cause I was craving a wrap and this happened to be right next to my chiropractor. The food was good, a little on the pricey side but big portions to compensate.
The worker there, Mike, is one of the nicest guys I’ve met and provided some of the best costumer service I’ve had in awhile. Definitely will be coming back to this location when I get the craving for a wrap again.

The food was hot, fresh, reasonably priced for the portions. I got double meat and had enough for a light dinner the following night. The restaurant was very clean with the staff was friendly and continually maintained the cleanliness of the counters drink/sauce station, and tables between gaps in customers. Sorry, I ate everything before taking a picture.

My husband and I eat at Kebab shop AT LEAST once a week — it’s a go to for us because it’s consistently delicious and much healthier than other take out options. The manager Cris is really friendly and took the time to introduce himself to my husband and me. We’ll continue to be regulars for years to come!

Fantastic place! My wife and I try to go every week. The good is fantastic and the crew (especially the manager Cris) are always really nice. I highly recommend the fire box, the chili sauce and spicy hummus is a great addition to the rest of the box. I highly recommend it for an affordable dinner that won't make you feel like you ate a unhealthy meal.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The restaurant handles big orders very well as we order from here quite often and always able to pick it up at the designated time. Props to the general manager Cris for handling the orders with care!

Food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful when explaining the menu, so try it if you’ve never been. The steak is my favorite…juicy, savory and quality meat that won’t pull your teeth out.

The food was disgusting. Me and my son walked in taste the food threw it out. Walked out. We are at McDonald’s right now hungry I will never go back there again. I told the cashier that it was not good. He didn’t care much. I don’t recommend this place. They are not gonna last very long I guarantee it.

as soon as you walk in to this place you are welcomed by the staff, the music is great, the ac is flowing, cant forget to mention they have a UNLIMITED sauce station.. AMAZING. Cris the GM really is on top of his game..

Ordered 3 meals for myself and co workers to try. The rice was horrible, chicken and lamb tasted at least a few days old. The tabouli wasn't made right. Only thing that was tolerable was the bread and it wasn't even pita bread as advertised. Ended up throwing it away, won't eat here again.

Delicious! I know it's a chain vibe (which is why I deducted a star) but the food is on point and authentic!

The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the place is spotless.

I highly recommend it and will be back soon!
