The STAGE California Fusion Restaurant and Cafe

Food was favorable and affordable. The level of service was also outstanding. I definitely suggest this establishment, and if I am ever in the region again, I would return!

I went to this place with colleagues. The atmosphere is very cool and welcoming. I enjoyed the music, especially the violinist.

The service was ok, and surprisingly slow considering there was only one other table of people outside.

The food was good. I was disappointed that the scallop and scrimp skewers were a tiny scallop with the shrimp around it.

The atmosphere of this location was magical, but the food was disappointing. I went here with a group of 5 other people, and most of us felt like the food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good and felt a bit overpriced for what we got.

All of the food seems under seasoned / bland, and some of the vegetables in our meals weren’t ripe yet. There was also no salt or pepper on any of the tables.
The steak on a stone comes out on a very hot stone and you have to cook it yourself. It was an experience, but the low lighting made it difficult to see, and it wasn’t seasoned. The seafood salad came out with the muscles still in the shells and the tails on the shrimp. The chicken on the pizza was thin and dry. The caprese salad’s tomato’s were until and hard, and there was very little balsamic. The jambalaya was underwhelming, and lacked seasoning. The mushroom ravioli seemed okay.
The desserts were probably the best part of the meal, in presentation and flavor, and felt fairly priced.
Overall it wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t suggest this location to anyone. There were only 3 vegetarian options. The parking lot was located off the side of the restaurant, and the isles were open and wide to get to the tables. There were heaters, in case it’s a chilly night.

We were looking for a place in Burbank since my daughter lives in Burbank. Super nice place with a cool atmosphere. The caprese salad was incredible. We did try the green salad on the starter menu and it had a strong parsley flavor so it was the only thing we did not care for. We had the steak au poivre and the 14 oz filet that you cook on a hot rock. Both were good. We tried the cheese cake, the lemon tartlette and the apple strudel and they were all good. The service was great and friendly.

My wife had our babyshower here, and my sister recently had her engagement party. We had a wonderful time. The space was easily transformed, and the food was very, very good! The staff made everything easy, and they were very accommodating.

I absolutely recommend this place for any events. Just make sure you bring your own alcohol if you want something special.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere at The STAGE California fusion. You're like sitting in a garden and it was awesome. There was tons of privacy and it was a really cool experience. I ordered a salad and it was all right. I think if I go back I'll be trying something different. My friend ordered a noodle dish and they loved it. If you have never been to The STAGE California Fusion I'd suggest checking it out.

Had dinner here last night, and it was such a great experience. The food and ambiance were very nice. Loved the live music, eclectic jazz and even Parisian style music. Food was yummy, they were also very accommodating to my dietary needs which I really appreciated. Will be coming back.

Such good restaurants! This year, I celebrated my birthday at Stage Restaurant with my friends and family. Everyone liked the food and ambiance. I was so happy to be there.

I have been here on multiple occasions, and was pleased every time. The servers are attentive, the food is delicious, and the setting is relaxing. The live music that plays in the nighttime complements the vibe of the restaurant as well.
I highly recommend The Stage.

I ordered the steak, cooked medium, and it was practically raw. The food was mediocre at best. It also took forever to get our check and there were only 3 groups there on a Friday night.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We had a family event for 30 people. Amazing service, smiling faces and great food. Can’t recommend enough.

Came here because of their live music performances, and their ambience is good for date dinners or chill ones. The food was okay, their steak and thai eggplant salad was good. The service is very bad however, the younger lady who was our server was very uncaring. The older gentleman server eventually took over and gave us better service. Can't recommend the place until they fix their services.

Second time I am returning home from this restorant partially hungry.Barbecue bite size pieces one per person.Accidentally somebody takes two, automatically somebody else will not taste that piece. For $90 $ can provide more meat!!!
Check other Armenian restorants around ….where most of meat remains on plate.
Salads were seen for first time.never seen in Mediterranean cousin such a salads!!!

The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is friendly.
I thought the salads had good combination of greens, vegetables, and salad dressing which was tangy but not sour.

Pizza crust was thin and well prepared but the toppings could use more flavor.

We had a lovely late night dinner.

This place is mediocre at best. Foods nothing special. I’m really trying to understand why this place is so expensive. You can get the same thing quality meet from the street venders.

I loved the outdoor seating under all the trees. The food was delicious. We had fattoush, burrata, fries, kabobs, charcuterie, and a bunch of other stuff. Everything was incredibly flavorful. Service was top notch as well

Its not often you get all the things right to add up to an amazing dining experience. The food is delicious. Fresh. Flavorful. The ambiance is unexpected. I love when we find somewhere that offers a different atmosphere than every other restaraunt. Even in late winter when the flora wasn't at its most glorious, the walls and canopy of plants is beautifully whimsical. We had fun taking part in cooking our own meat and everything we ordered was delicious. We came twice during our stay in Burbank and out of 8 meals between us, all we could suggest is to add more sauce to the tacos. They were a tad dry. Everything else was wonderful and we can't wait to come back!

This is a gorgeous space and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a good place for large groups. But the food is mediocre. We had hummus, olive tapenade, and a margarita pizza. I walked out thinking that I could have made better pizza and better hummus.

We had reservations for a group of 30, and The STAGE was great to work with at every step. They accommodated our menu requests, had our food ready to serve when we arrived, and were gracious when our group size increased at the last minute. The atmosphere is beautiful, the music was great, and OMG the food was perfect after a long day of meetings: lots of great salad & seafood options, and the pizzas are top notch.

Let's face it large groups are seldom easy for restaurant staffs to deal with. Our group of about 35 was well taken care of by the staff, and the music & atmosphere were lovely. The food is very good.

We had a large party visit here after an all-day meeting, and the staff was wonderfully accommodating! They had the food ready promptly and it was all delicious. The atmosphere of the whole place is amazing, and the live music was a wonderful touch (we were seated pretty close to the stage, and the sound was at a level where we could enjoy it but didn't feel like we had to scream at each other to talk, which was great). The menu has a huge variety, and LOTS of delicious seafood choices as well as a strong amount of vegetarian options; it's rare to find a restaurant that can do both of those things well, in my experience. The next time I'm visiting Burbank, I would absolutely consider visiting The Stage again.

I came for the Burbank Comedy Festival 2023, and on the way to the theater… I actually saw them bbq-ing outside… unbelievable!

So clean and such fresh ingredients! I knew I had to come back!

I had the filet mignon skewers …. truly amazing!!!

The place is so beautiful with lovely private nooks and crannies in a garden setting!

The violinist was perfect… it’s a very magical place!!!!

Come to sit and relax … the service was fabulous… I’m sorry others felt it was slow… but I must say that this is not a place to rush, it is a jewel hidden in Burbank that is to be savored! 😉😉😉. loved it! ❤️

When you go on the weekends, the entertainment is very nice. The problem is I went for lunch for two people. We spent $65. 2 lunch Specials btw the chicken wrap is not worth it it’s very big lavash filled with all lettuce and sauce and some vegis and hardly any chicken at all inside since I took it apart. Not worth $22 at all !! than I did not realize that each coffee was almost $10 each. I’ve never heard of a coffee costing SOOO much and not good . Maybe just good to go for the entertainment and the grilled food .The black cod fish was good though .

Gone here many times over the years and the service has gone too far downhill. The food is delicious, when you finally get it.
The kicker for me this time was when the bottle of red wine was served warm, almost hot. Which means they are stored somewhere warm. Of course this made the wine undrinkable until I got an ice bucket to cool it down. This was something I have never experienced before.
Once the food was served, we never saw our server again. When it came time to leave, I eventually had to hunt someone down just to pay. And I wasn't the only one doing that.

We had the most awkward experience here and ended up leaving to go to another restaurant. We were a party of 8 that arrived at opening (11 am), on a Sunday. It took a long time for anyone to acknowledge us after being seated, which was strange because we were the only ones there. We were then told that the ovens weren’t hot so things would take a while. That’s fine, but why not get the restaurant prepped before you open? We then put in an order of drinks. Some coffee, a mimosa and a mojito. It took probably ten more minutes for those to come. I was watching the bartender not make our drinks, but continue to do whatever she was doing and not pay attention to the order in front of her. Coffees came out. No other drinks. We had to ask if they were being made. By that point we were fed up with the lack of customer service and decided to go elsewhere. It was almost as if we were an inconvenience to them. I gave two stars because at least the mojito has good.

Pretty poor service. Staff were fussing at each other and it took awhile to get our order in. Band was way too loud even on the opposite side of the restaurant. Food was super average.

Great atmosphere! There was an exceptional violinist playing during our late dinner. Beautiful outdoor dining areas with greenery, heaters, and a variety of configurations. Several large groups were there celebrating birthdays and such.

I booked the Valentine event for 4 people( my parents and their friends ). I was really excited because I have been here a couple times on regular days. Apparently my parents and their guest dislike the event and mainly because the host and waiter and table set up, they’re supposed to have a 7 course meal and the didn’t get all 7 courses. Horrible service, no waiters around, had to wait 30 mins to finally see a waiter to ask for something. Apparently the owner went cheap with the waiters, no drinks or water on tables, paid $560 for four people and won’t do this again, not here at the stage.

This place was a way better 6,7 years ago, the appetizers were ok,kebabs were so unchewable, either overcooked or it was the meat quality,not sure .We had a GNO private party of 40 on their patio ,there was only one waiter talking care of 2 big tables, who was trying to be around but he wasn't much attentive ,wasn't listening to what we asked him couple of times .
In the past they had a very unique kitchen,a gourmet fillet mingon, we used to cook it ourselves individually on a hot stone ,no more such things.
Their prices was good and acceptable but the reason I rated 3 stars is the entertainment and the singer who was an armenian middle aged man, was trying to sing with a playback that was stopping completely every now and then .we were so excited that we will dance but the music kept stopping also he was playing a slow music right after each dance musiic.
An entertainer must be so alert and flexible ,alert enough to see what his audiences happy about and flexible to change if they are not happy .two girls approached him to tell him not to play slow music ,he didn't listen and later my friend asked him to play Dikran Asaturyan famous Armenian singers songs ,surprisingly his answer was so unprofessional,he said he doesn't like that singer ,seriously ? Management should consider hiring a new entertainer definitely,he never cared what we (his private party) wanted him to sing or even play later as a D.J .our favorite songs. What an awful entertainer.

Food was decent but took 3 hours for the entire meal to come out. Asked to be informed about ingredients and they neglected to do so ending in one of our party in the emergency room for a severe allergic reaction. The server and owner stated “it did not matter” when they were informed. They continued to charge us for her and 2 people who were not present at the dinner. Also a possum came down next to our table. We informed the staff and they told us this was normal. A complete health nightmare! Will never dine here again. Please beware.

When we first got there was told it was all reserved but table didn't start filling up until 2 hrs after us beeing there and honestly we would have left before the 2 hr mark but our waiter was nice but did take a long time gwtting to us.

I really liked the location and the decor, and the food was great. I ordered the mussels in a white wine, garlic sauce.. Delicious! I gave 3 stars because of the hospitality. Upon arrival the 2 men, waiters, sitting at the front were talking and smoking. So when we approached them they gave us the feeling that we were disturbing them. They did not make us feel welcome. When asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, we were told that he didn't know if he could seat us, even though the place was COMPLETELY empty. The service that we received while we were there was not nice, and we took it personally, since we got to see how they interacted with other customers that started to flow in. That's why we only ordered one thing, and then left. Not sure if I would go there again due to the way we were treated. Maybe it was a one off, but first impressions last.

I am so disappointed from this place. I really don’t recommend to you go to that place especially for special events. As for my own experience I went to celebrate Mother’s Day and it was unbelievable worst place that I ever been. The survive was so bad. They mixed my order and brought different things then when they brought what I want “bbq” was cold, I can’t find to describe what I felt. To be honest I don’t recommend to go to this place .

The music was great and the food was okay, but the service was bad. We had a party of 4 and at then end he asked if we were ready for our check. We asked for it to be split up and our server was super rude and condesending. Said we would have needed to tell him first and theres no way to change it once its in the computer. The tone was disgusting. We paid the single check and it wouldnt have been a big deal if he hadnt been a complete jerk about it. It was zero to a hundred in attittude shift and honestly ruined the whole experience.

This restaurant has a wonderful gazeboed dining area covered with flowering bougainvilla (it also has indoor seating). The food is Mediterranean themed, and really delicious, ranging from meat skewers to salads to delicious thin crust pizzas everything in between. The highlight of our night was the dancer and the live music. We had a fantastic time!

Hidden gem, they have a real good menu includes steak, bbq skewers, pizza, soup, salad and couple of sea food like salmon and sea bass.
They have a small parking lot next to the entrance and it's free.
Good service 👍 and nice atmosphere very cozy and gardeny.
For drink they have few wine options I usually get one of their red wine bottles.
It's good to try their appetizers especially if you are getting red wine you must get the cheese platter.
I love the presentation of the skewers it's so delicate and delicious 😉

Great outdoor seating and live entertainment. Amazing food, can't go wrong. Would recommend the barbecue a plenty! Overall, cute and fun place!

Had a birthday dinner with family + 20 people, outdoor seating area. We got the package #2 ($90 per person). Overall everything was delicious and the service was good as well.

The food was excellent. The skewers are absolutely amazing. The ambience was nice, except it was very loud. It was a Saturday and there was a dj type setup with a belly dancer. The music was quite loud, although not terrible. I understand it was a Saturday night.

A very charming place to eat outside in Burbank. Excellent staff with quick service and a great cusine. Try the steaks, they are best in town. Would definitely recommend.

I will caveat this review to say that I have not ACTUALLY set foot anywhere within the restaurant. We have been staying across the street at the Springhill Suites (a lovely place), enjoying a corner suite up on the third floor facing the establishment. I did notice the restaurant as soon as we checked in, the idea of enjoying a nice dinner in their obviously well-shaded patio area seemed enticing. Upon looking at the menu online though, $40 for steak on a stone gave me pause, as much as I adore that entree.
I have been able to enjoy their ambience for absolutely ZERO cost, however. For the last two nights, after a long day taking in all that the LA region has to offer, right around the time one is ready to just tuck in for a good night's sleep...a Sound. It begins innocently enough, a simple piano chorus. You wonder, "Is that the room next to us? Is it their TV??". But then you can hear the rising crescendo of the voices trying in vain to compete with the Sound. You realize, "No, that's from outside...that restaurant!". You can hear the noises of plates and glasses clinking, also captured by what must be an AMAZING sound system...it's like they're right in front of you...YOU up in your room in the sky over a hundred yards away.
The Sound grows as the night goes on. The Sound of salsa, the Sound of jazz, the Sound of SO many cheesy covers, the Sound shouting "TEQUILA", and the most insidious multiple renditions of the Sound throughout the night exhorting "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!". As you huddle in your room hostage to the Sound, praying for the Quiet, you still can't help but wonder, "Is the Sound even more overwhelming down there at the epicenter? Are all the speakers pointed directly at my windows?? Have all of the locals been driven so far beyond the edge that they can no longer hear the Sound???".
As much as Rest is not coming any time soon, dear reader, rest assured you will have hours to contemplate all of this and more as you join the din of the Stage from afar.
