Tonir Cafe offers a pleasant ambiance, and the rice dishes are nicely prepared. However, the experience was marred by the chicken, which, although visually appealing, was unfortunately half-cooked. Caution is advised.

when i went there my first impression for the atmosphere was not so great but after some time i started feeling thats ok and when it comes to food then i must tell you food was extra ordinary yummy i ordered bar b que and it was fully cooked then in desserts cake was also fresh and of good quality. i will visit this place again..

The juiciest chicken shish kabob. The sides, including the rice were also amazing! The lady at the bar was also welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend!

A great place to go eat with friends. A hidden little gem here in Burbank off of San Fernado Blvd. Simply Tasty and delicious Mediterranean food served fresh and with nice proportions. There's something here for every taste. Def worth trying.Now I'm hungry!!

AMAZING food, best food I have had in a very long time. The owners are the loveliest woman and so sweet! We split the chicken plate, the greek salad, and the steak kabab with hummus and pita.
Highly recommend this local establishment.

You will be hard pressed to find better straight up Armenian-Mediterranean cuisine within 5 or 10 Miles of here. Aria in Glendale is probably the closest. When you take a bite of the green salad, you cant stop eating it. Bean salad is exceptional. Best hot dishes are the Chicken Shish and Lamb Chops. If it is available, get the Eldora cake for desert. It's our go to spot for lunch, healthy and delicious.

I’ve had a great experience here every time I’ve visited. Amazing food, chill vibes, generally good prices. I’m quite stuck on the Armenian cold brew they have as well. Also a decent place to have wine with a friend if you’re into that sort of thing. The lentil soup & everything on the menu is so fresh & tasty!

For tourists: we went on a Monday around lunch time and the place was empty. Don’t be fooled. It looks like they’re not busy but they are. Be patient. The food is bomb! Lamb was cooked to perfection. The yogurt needs to be bottled and sold everywhere. We will def comeback. 🥇

I called and placed an order for their Tonir plate which serves 5 to 7 people on Wednesday and before I tell you how amazing the food, the generosity, the service and the staff were let me tell you they use quality meats because I warmed up the leftovers today And they still tasted amazing. Must try this place. Best Armenian kebab in Burbank. Hands down. Ask for Margaret. She's so sweet. She gave me a free appetizer for my birthday then surprised me by not taking money for the entire order. A giving business is a growing business. Always give to grow. Be generous with your staff, your budget and your customers and you'll never stop growing. Keep serving Armenian hospitality like no other. Thank you.

Had a long flight delay leaving Burbank Airport and decided to walk further from airport to try someplace new. Our lunch was delicious and served without much of a wait. We had the veggie plate and chicken lule. If you don’t mind a 23 minute walk and have the time would highly recommend it.

This is my families go to. Food is great. Sorry I dont remember the girls name that works there, but she has pink hair and is very friendly and talkative. We always order ahead for pick up and have never had any issues here. Just wish we had found this place sooner. From the outsid6it does not look like much, but the inside is very very nice. Very clean.

Really good Armenian food. Portions are very large. Had a combo plate and dark Czech beer. Meal included the pork skewer and beef lule, both were perfectly cooked, tender, juicy and full of flavor. Came with a salad with a great vinaigrette, olives, cheese, tomatoes and Armenian cucumbers. It also came with to pitas and 2 sides. I chose the humus which was smooth and tasty. Also got the roasted eggplant "Ikra" and wow! Smokey, peppery, just the right mix of tomatoes ground with love. I will do double Ikra next time!

It appears the restaurant has turned more take out style (COVID change??). Order at counter and food delivered to table in to go containers. Place was extremely clean and staff were wonderful. My only recommendation to the owners is to invest in better plastic ware, made eating challenging... 5 stars!!

If I could I would not even give it not star. The young guy was picking his nose when we were waiting for the food and I never saw anyone wash their hands. They have do not have customer service ethics unless it's their own people raises. My husband and I just walked out with no food. Do not go buy from them......

We stay at the Ramada when we go to universal studios, and decided to check out the local food. I am so glad we did, this place has the most delicious food ever! & huge portions I was surprised how cost effective this was. Super impressed , can’t say it enough, and the staff was super nice. We are going to eat there before we leave to go home (: so much we even took left overs back to our hotel for a yummy late night snack. I loved the stuffed vegetarian grape leaves (Sarma)! & the grilled tomato. I just liked it all. If you want some great Armenian food try this place! Again, lots of food for a great price.

A great opportunity to get some well spiced Armenian food. The seasoned sirloin kabobs are amazing. The lamb ribs are a bit tough but fatty and delicious.

Holy moly, what a find. My daughter and I saw this place on Google and decided to try it out. We both got the beef luleh with rice and tabuleh. My daughter also got the cucumber yogurt.
Everything was AMAZING. The beef luleh was so tender and juicy with so much flavor. Everything tasted so fresh. The staff is literally 2 sisters. They are the sweetest!!! We will definitely be coming here all the time now.

food and portions are great here! their meat is so good. the only things is when i came here for lunch with coworkers during the summer time, there were tons of flies in the restaurant. i kept feeling them on my legs as we were eating. not super pleasant :(

It's got the air of a hole in the wall restaurant from the outside, but do not judge them by the exterior. it really does have the best Mediterranean food in the area. They have a vegetarian plate which is really just the sides grouped together as a single plate, so my vegetarian friends weren't overly impressed, but I love the lule, the kabobs, and the sides are super flavorful even if not filling by themselves. The salmon also got high marks from my friend. The prices are reasonable too.

It's in an industrial area where there aren't many comparable options nearby and the locals like this place so be prepared. If you get there at noon, you should get a table without too much trouble. Get there at 12:30 though and you might have to wait.

We love going out. Last night we came to this excellent place which friends told us about. We spent a beautiful evening there with high-qulity meal and a nice stuff and a great cook. We added this restaurant in our list and we will surely go again very soon. Highly recommended.

This place it's great. Unassuming from the outside but quite popular and busy inside. Authentic Armenian flavors and dishes. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The baby back ribs were cut, cooked, seasoned, and sauced to perfection. Can't wait till I'm back there again. Was welcomed in by the staff immediately. Even with all the to-go orders, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

I have been to many Mediterranean restaurants and this one is my favorite, because the food is OUTSTANDING!!! The best I’ve had thus far. Care is taken into consideration when making it. The great meat and lovely sides are only overshadowed by the ludicrously delicious baklava.

The servings are generous and the meat is delicious. They tend to get pretty busy and do a lot of takeout business so sometimes the servers are pretty busy and can't get to you right away.

Truly a hidden gem of a restaurant in Burbank.
