I am visiting from out of town and found this place close to the Warner Bros and Universal Studios. This place is DELICIOUS and a real mom and pop restaurant. The owners are so sweet and really make you feel at home. The food is well priced, authentic, and comes out sizzling hot. I highly recommend a horchata or Mexican coke with the beef fajitas!!! Sitting outside was so peaceful and relaxing. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The street parking was also easy and free.

Great little mom and pop restaurant with delicious homemade food. I enjoyed the meatballs soup. The Chile Verde was tasty. My wife liked the shrimp tacos. All were flavorful. The lady helping us was very friendly. We will be back soon.

I truly could not love the food here more. I order the seafood enchiladas so much that they know my order by heart! The workers are always friendly and the service is fast. You really can’t find a better seafood enchilada out there.

After a day at Universal Studios, we wanted Mexican food. My wife googled for a nearby restaurant that had excellent reviews and she found this restaurant.
The environment was simple and colorful, the food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable compared to the other restaurants we had been to.

This place has the BEST enchiladas and shredded beef tacos. Great prices. Authentic mom and pop mexican food. My coworkers and I eat here once a week. They love the beef or chicken burritos. Parking is a bit tough, but 100% worth it.

We really needed this relaxing and enjoyable meal. It was such a busy week and we went here to have some really yummy food and chill from all the busy, it did deliver. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was yummy and we ordered several things because it all looked good. We ate a lot, spent less than we would have anywhere else close, and left happy.

Great small restaurant, food was delicious I actually left, picked up a friend and went back for seconds. Small business owner treated us great, will definitely continue to support. We ordered the enchiladas and the carne asada plate. The horchata was really refreshing!

Amazing food, from the wet burrito to the tacos all around delicious food. Definitely will be back, might even become the new restaurant my family goes to before Universal Studios.
Seating was fast, service was fast, the time between ordering food and getting food was very fast but the food was still super fresh!
11/10 would definitely recommend and come again!!

Gives new meaning to the term "hole in the wall". Also gives new meaning to the term "hidden gem". Try the asada tacos or the machaca breakfast burrito. Pay no attention to the reviewer who says she paid $32 for a margarita.....this restaurant does not serve alcohol.

Super cute restaurant good luck finding parking though. I was lucky and got there as someone was leaving. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very comfortable. We got the tacos al pastor and they were delicious, so much flavor. The enchiladas were delicious too, I just didn’t really like the rice but I’m picky with Mexican rice. Can’t wait to visit again and try something else on the menu! Oh! And the chips and salsa were fresh! My mom loved the salsa and she’s usually picky too lol

Been going here for years, so a bit biased. Pretty much a 3 person show. Salsa is hot, fresh every day, little different everytime. Meals are delish and everyone I take there wants to go back. I often get a combo plate with taco, enchilada or the big avacado salad. It is truly a small mom/pop place, tho more just a pop place. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Me Encanta! Wow, the owners are so amazing. Y muy buena food. I live in SD so I will not always be here to visit this awesome restaurant. Pero when I’m back in LA definitely coming here again. Wow this is the best Mexican I’ve had in a really long time. The asado tacos were just incredible. The salsa was really good too. And the carnitas burritos was probably the best burrito I’ve ever had.

Our 1st time here. We went during dinner time and were lucky to have front parking to the entrance. It's small but cozy. We had cheviche tostadas that were very good and a cheese quesadilla for an appetizer. 1st plate was carne asada w a red cheese enchilada with rice and beans, it was ok. 2nd plate fish plate with rive and a small green salad, it was good. We were the only ones there, so the service was fast. Check this place out, it's literally down the street from Warner Brothers Studio Tours.

I have to stop in Burbank occasionally, and I've found myself only interested in coming here on every stop. The server doesn't even need to bring me a menu at this point, because I know I'm getting the al pastor wet burrito. The chips and salsa are also tasty.

Friendly and welcoming. Food is wonderful and very satisfying. Highly recommend. I ordered carnitas plate and my daughter had the beef enchiladas. Also we ordered Jamaica o limonada ( it's very refreshing) and Horchata for our drinks. Sorry too hungry not able to take more photo.

Food is great, service is mediocre but most importantly, watch the bill. Came on Friday (3 days ago) and paid $32 for a grande premium margarita. Costly, but enjoyable. Returned today and the same margarita was $37. When I asked for clarification on the bill, the waitress blamed the owner—who had mysteriously “just left”—for raising the prices. After waiting forever for her to “message him and see if he responds” we just paid our bill and left. Amazing, people are willing to lose loyal local customers over $5 these days but for us, it’s the principle because like everyone else, we work hard for our money. Disappointing, to say the least.

Old school cooking with reasonable pricing. I recommend the Chile Verde, (pork marinated in green sauce) it is outstanding.

Great food in a low-key environment. Definitely has a neighborhood vibe, great for locals in the area. Was a big fan of the Chile Verde Burrito! Free chips and salsa and they were really good, chips came out warm and fresh.

We were hungry after the Warner Brothers Studio tour and this restaurant was nearby and well-rated. It was a little tough to find street parking, but that's not in their control. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was tasty and authentic. Obviously prepped and cooked with love. Very enjoyable and we would be happy to return.

The nachos are 10/10.

Chips are freshhhh.

Agua fresca is 10/10. Tastes like my childhood in a cup.

Service was kind and attentive. Ambiance is relaxed, chill, with all the Meccan home vibes.

Superbly authentic Mexican cuisine, down to every little detail, served with warmth and pride by the friendly staff in a comfortable little restaurant.

We were missing Mexican food since moving to the east coast, and man did this place hit the spot. From the complimentary warm chips and salsa roja, you could taste the touches in every bite.

My wife and I shared the enormous chicken nachos as a starter and it was the perfect combination of shredded chicken and red sauce, sour cream, guacamole, molten cheese, and pinto beans on crisp and fresh tortilla chips.

My wife had the carne picada, which had thin slices of steak in a spicy red sauce, with peppers and a side of beans and rice. They also hooked it up with some fresh made tortillas.

I enjoyed my chimichanga with shredded beef, covered with red enchilada sauce. Also came with a delicious side of rice and beans, plus some sour cream and guacamole.

The hibiscus agua frescas were delicious too.

What a find. Highly recommend you check this place out if you're nearby.

We’re from out of town and wanted some authentic Mexican food without the crowd. Search for something close by and the place came up. This place was perfect and welcoming. We were greeted by one of the owners that sat us. Chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. Drinks were fed and delicious (limonada and horchata) . We order for our main meal Enchilada with red sauce and tacos and pork chunks in salsa verde. All plates come with beans and rice. The portion size were enough for 2 ppl! Just delicious! If you’re looking for a place in North Hollywood,CA definitely visit them.

The food was exceptional and very reasonably priced! I definitely recommend this establishment. I had the Camarones a la Diabla that was delicious and was only $14 with the large shrimp and not too spicy. My picky sons had tacos and a burrito, AND they BOTH cleared their plates. My wife had taquitos and our guests had chimichangas. No one left unhappy or hungry. They gave us free chips and salsa which were hard to stop eating because the chips they served us were warm. Must go and eat here!

I wasn’t sure what to expect and saw this place was near by so decided to give a try and thank God I did. The food definitely did not disappoint, I was taken back by how well everything was prepared and the seasoning for the meat was in point. I had the Carne Asada tacos, so so good. I came with low expectations from a previous referral but a week later found this place. Will absolutely be coming back with friends and family.

Great Experience! Arrived early for dinner, quick service. Very accommodating, willing to make Chili Verde Chimichanga, which is not listed on the menu. Affordable pricing for outstanding food. I would recommend, look forward to returning.

Came here after a trip to Universal theme park. So glad we did. It's worth the effort to get here and to find a parking spot..my son and I each had the beef burrito.... the beef had so much flavor... the beans and fice were good too. My wife had the beef enchiladas.... and her plate was empty before mine or my sons...she said the red sauce was the best she has had!!. don't miss a chance to eat here...you won't be disappointed!!!!

Great little Mexican restaurant!! We had the Arroz con Pollo dish and the Chicken taquitos plate and they were great - good portions too! Homemade food and feeling. The interior was quaint with a real authentic Mexican vibe with wooden furnishings - very cool! Owners were fantastic and the service was great! What a GEM!! Owner mentioned they have been there 18 years!! I wish I would have known about them sooner. Will be back!! The location is more like on Pass Avenue a half block from Olive. Small nondescript place with a few tables out front. Check it out!
