Was excited to give this a try but was immediately disappointed. The food is expensive and has no flavor at all. It isn’t authentic mexican food. They don’t dim the lights at night and the service is mediocre. It took forever for us to actually leave when all we wanted was the check and then the server lost our card and had to go find it. She took her sweet time too

Strong vibes of retirement community If you go during their prime supper hour at 4pm, otherwise your safe.

The Molcajete is bubbly and full of flavor. The drinks are strong and cheaper than any sign-less Hollywood hot spot and the service was decent.

I recommend their happy hour for those south of 70.

This is not authentic Mexican Food. The food has no flavor. Plus for parties of 6 or more they add a 20% Tip on your Tab, which I totally disagree after not liking the food. I would totally agree with the tip if the food was great!! Don't go there if you want authentic Mexican Food.

Took my niece and sister there on the way to the airport. The food was quite delicious and we sat out on the sidewalk. We wanted to sit inside as it was a little cool but the inside is very crowded and compact and not very attractive. But the food was fabulous. I had the shrimp tacos and there was plenty of shrimp in there. My sister and niece were quite happy with their food as well. My sister had the fish and the seasoning could’ve been a little stronger for me but it was very flaky and done well.

Nice to be out and sit down to have dinner. We opted for the patio even though inside dining was available. Decent food but subpar service. We waited forever to order and when asking for extra napkins we never got any and salsa took two times to ask and then we had a bunch of salsa and no chips until our entrees arrived. Decent taco and enchilada but the Chile relleno was really disappointing. Good margaritas and friendly service but overall not as good as our normal spot "Mucho Mas" which we hope comes back by next year at the latest. In the meantime this will do for now unless I find something better. Just thankful to be out and about again!

Food is good .The owner is very nice and his Girlfriend. They always want to make your experience a good one. The lunch buffet is a great deal. If you have any issues, talk to Carlos or Pattie.

Unfortunately not really Mexican food. I had the shrimp tacos they were not seasoned at all. They were served on a flour tortilla with mayonnaise, lettuce and cheese aka Taco Bell 🔔 style. If I wanted Taco Bell it's right across the street. Hubby ordered the ceviche it was a generous portion but served dry they didn't offer tostadas or even chips to eat it with. Luckily we still had chips from the appetizer. The service was good but I would not return, there isnt much flavor to the food. Mexican food is fresh and full of spices and flavors it was disappointing. Happy to support Burbank restaurants but they need to do better.

The atmosphere was great! The margaritas were good. The chicharone was terrible! PLEASE TAKE OFF MENU! NOT REAL CHICHARRON.. you can go to 7-11 and get what they served us for 3 bucks!!!
They overbooked the restaurant....which led to bad service.. not the employee's fault. ..but the owner/owners were too greedy. ..shoving people in booths... making them wait forever for their order just because it was Mariachi night! ....we were lucky to get our drinks... drinks took 20 min...appetizers took another 15 min...main course... took more than we could handle, so we paid for our drinks and left. Perhaps this was because it was the weekend...but..if your in business, you should be prepared to take on business. Tequilas was NOT! At least not that Saturday. Never going back. Don Cucos, Ernies taco house , salsa and beer! MUCH BETTER CHOICES.

After having a bad experience with service in the past decided to support the business and give them another chance. After having reservations for 7pm, at 930 we still did not have half of our meal. Expressed my frustration to the owner and they did not feel accountable for the bad service and make it right to the customer. The kitchen and the staff is not ready to host the amount of people that they pack in the restaurant. The owner did not care about my concern even after I expressed it. Unfortunately although the food is good I will never come back, and find other place to support locally. It’s a shame to spend over $200 and have it ruin your night.

This place is fun. We typically go on Friday's, they have mariachi from 7-9pm . Please be aware that the food might take a while if they have full house. It's not a big deal for me or my friends, as we normally enjoy the music with chips and drinks while the food arrives.

My wife and I went for a Valentines dinner. First thing was how the sign out front says enter thru the back only which thru us off. We ended up just walking in. Fast forward to our very flimsy table that I almost tipped over. I ordered the tequila burrito de asada thinking it was a good choice when I got it the meat was all nerves. I took 3 bites and spit out the "meat" and asked for another burrito of different meat. I asked for chicken and it was literally all pico de gallo and very bland. The rice tasted reheated. Beer wasn't even cold. After the food came back the waiter tried to make it better by starting conversation mid meal. He just kept talking and even came up with a lie saying it's good we told him about the meat. That he's going to talk to his suppliers and tell them to not send that kind of meat again. (I understand what he wanted to do and make me feel better but lying doesn't do anything but annoy me more.) What made me feel some type of way was that he said the meat already comes pre cut. Which was a let down for me thinking the meat was fresh. Idk if I just didn't hear it but i heard no type of music either. Mostly never going back here again. Hella pricey and not worth it

Came here for a birthday celebration. Not a place I’d go out of my way to visit again. Food was bland and had no flavor. Our server kept forgetting what we asked for we had to ask 2/3 times before we got something.

Pro:
The mariachi women singer was great!
Drinks are strong and cheap!
Dessert was good (Flan)
Heated patio (parking lot tent) lol

Con:
Food is expensive and flavorless
No handmade tortillas
The mariachi guy that did Juan Gabriel cover he wasn’t the greatest.

Used to frequent this place often. Now I know why we stopped. After walking all the way around the restaurant, sent back into dining room & sat for 10 minutes. Zero acknowledgement, no menus. Not very busy, so not sure why, but decided to move onto another restaurant that wants our business.

Nice atmosphere and the servers are usually on point with being friendly and courteous. The food solid and pretty standard when it comes to Mexican food but what's really great is when you're there when they have live music. The ambience becomes very warm and inviting especially when you enjoy the nice cocktails provided by the restaurant. If you're looking for solid Mexican food and a nice atmosphere and enjoyable evening I would recommend this place.

I went there last night with my friends. The patio (parking lot) has been nicely transformed. Aside from a lovely ambience, I must say I was highly disappointed with the rest! I had asked for the drink menu to get an idea of what they had AND their pricing and the waiter never brought it and brought me a huge margarita subst. With vodka, per my request. I was never asked what size, double, etc. I had even inquired about getting a smaller one. I also had to wait to get water after having asked at least 3 times! When I got the bill, we were charged $20 per margarita! When I asked him about it, it was like he expected me to know that we pay for a double and then it should be $20. I don’t mind paying $20 for something that I have been aware of and was given the option but I didn’t like how it went down. Shady! I did not appreciate the waiter‘s reaction either! I will not be returning. I have updated my review because the owner reached out and made it right. The food was delicious too!

The food was amazing! Too bad our server was terrible. She was rude, didn’t smile, short with us. Took a while for our chips, drinks and food. Then once we got our check, this woman charged us for a chicken breast, which we did not order and it was 15$! We couldn’t find her after we noticed this, had to go to another waiter to try to get it fixed. Once it was taken off she comes back. Placed the new check on the table and just said sorry and walked away. We were so upset! So be aware. Great food but double check the bill

I'm visiting from New York City and I really like to eat Mexican food. The service was nice and swift with great margarita drinks and savory food. I'm all about robust flavors, and the food was well seasoned and tasty. Not salty like some place yet very flavorful, and I'm glad I stumbled upon it.

We went for the mariachi band. I wasn't expecting to get a nice dinner. I've tried their giant margaritas before, and that was my intention: get a margarita and chips. We ordered the molcajete for 2. Meat was tender, and chicken was flavorful. It had 3 jumbo shrimps. I liked it!. The mariachi band is really good. Nice spot for a Friday celebration. We'll definitely go back.

I've been to this restaurant for lunch a couple of times now and I've never been disappointed. Always fast and friendly service. I love the Chile Colorado and the Chile Verde. The margaritas are large and refreshing. Very reasonably priced lunch specials. Ask for their hot sauce. It's very flavorful. Check it out people.

They have a tofu veggie burrito for any vegetarians and the service was fantastic.

The plate itself was also a classic; a slight off white with a brown rimmed edge. This is a common plate in the city and it makes me want to find the artist who makes them. They are the true mayors of Los Angeles.

You feel like you’re at home. Everyone is so gracious and kind here. Portions are quite large, enough to share. Margaritas are strooong, especially Wednesday night Cadillacs are $10. Enjoy!

Inside, outside dining. Inside walls are decorated with famous Bollywood Latino stars. The mole sauce on the j chicken enchiladas is outstanding and the service is excellent and friendly.

Absolutely Fabulous. I previously placed a Take out Dinner order that was incorrect when It got it home. I called and spoke with Josh, who explained the mix up and said to come back when I have the chance and he would correct my order. Well today when I arrived and again placed my Take out Dinner order, Josh remembered me right away, even though a month had passed. Josh said he would take and place my order. Once I got home and began to eat my food, the taste was Simply Magnificent. My order was the Especial Burrito Plate. Thank you Josh, for you Hospitality, Professionalism and Genuineness.
