Finney's Crafthouse - Burbank

I have wanted to check this place out for a while - great spot to stop by after catching a movie. Nice atmosphere, chill vibe, friendly service, and really tasty food. TVs at the bar and good amount of seating. I tried 2 things but I will definitely be back because the Buffalo cauliflower was too delicious. The truffle burger was also worth coming back for. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Service was on point. You pay through a device on your table. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Update - Strawberry Lemon Drop Martini was nice. I appreciate that they use real juices and not artificial flavors. It was not sweet at all - I don’t like sweet cocktails - but I did wish it had a little more sweetness.

The chicken and waffle bites were tasty. Perfectly fried chicken, nicely seasoned… Crispy, buttery waffles with a maple “gravy”. The portions were larger than expected. They are called “bites” but it is a good size appetizer. They will even add an extra if you don’t like odd numbers. Ha. Sat outside this time - nice music and nice vibe.

Full Disclosure: The night we went the bar flooded and was closed!!! Such a bummer because I was looking forward to a cold one. Anyway, the host did inform us of that prior to sitting down and we opted to stay for dinner. The staff was friendly, courteous and our food was delivered fast, fresh and delicious. We started with the deviled eggs which were scrumptious and the tuna tacos. I had the jalapeño burger and was able to substitute the patty for an impossible burger which was fantastic. My only concern was the lack of hotness of my french fries. I'm a french fry lover and they gotta be fresh and hot man! Regardless, the onion rings were amazing and our overall experience (sans any booze) was on point. I like the fact that they have allot of staff who are always busy whether you are their customer of not. In other words, they ALL take care of you in some form or another. Great place and will visit again and hopefully will be able to try some cold brews next time. Thank you. Oh! And the bathrooms were super clean.

1st time & loved it. I had fish tacos & hubbie had a bison burger. Great service & food came fast. I asked for the sauce on the side & it did not need sauce. Quality fish, homemade corn tortillas, perfect cook. Bison cooked perfectly. Only little comment is Bison burger needs more toppings like lettuce & tomato or cold slaw. Otherwise loved it👍🤗

Very cool place, with good music and great service. I would suggest the lobster roll as it is fantastic and comes out quick. The Finney's ale is low alcohol and very delicious. Came out very cold.

So the food is really good. I put a lot of pictures up so you guys can look through those but I have tried a fair amount of what they have on their menu. I have tried like all of there burgers and sandwiches. So far the only thing on their menu that I didn't like was there taquitos and I've met people there that still like them I just wasn't a fan of their sauce. They have awesome bison and wagyu burgers. Also everything is at a pretty reasonable price. In fact if you go during happy hour it's cheaper than some fast food places now.
The bartenders are cool and there's normally at least two of them so it's not really hard to get a hold of someone to order.
If you go during happy hour it's a pretty mellow crowd and a lot of regulars.
Last but not least the only reason I couldn't really give it a four star is that occasionally they don't get my order right but normally they fix that and secondly because they have open Windows occasionally they have fruit flies in the place. You would think that would knock off more than one star but all in all it's not enough to really deter me from going on pretty regular basis still.

LOCATION: is good but you can always find parking you just have to circle around the shopping area to find one

Arrived at a 11am and sat at the bar. Wasn’t crowded at all, not at the bar with Megan (very nice but not attentive) or restaurant. Ordered a grilled cheese w soup and cheesesteak egg rolls. A HALF HOUR LATER, I asked about my order and it comes out, warm. She offered to remove the egg rolls from my order (my guess, she didn’t put them in) then puts in my egg rolls and they come out later. The manager or some guy who thought he was important (Josh) tried to make a joke about the wait time when I expressed my frustration. He said (in a baby voice) “Awe, I’m so sorry”. His “apology” was unprofessional and condescending. I spent 45 minutes waiting for a grilled cheese, soup and egg rolls. This was a shitty time wasting experience.

We are out of town staying at a hotel near by and walked past this beautiful restaurant. It was a nice night so we sat outside under the fire lamps and it was absolutely beautiful.
We were sat right away and a waitress came to us in a timely manner.
I ordered the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and they were delicious like a deconstructed cheesesteak sandwich served with a hot mustard, a chili sauce and I got a side of ranch. They were so delicious.
My wife got a Cesar salad with salmon which was also very good and my son ordered a Hickory BBQ burger, his specific words were “wow” that’s a really good burger. I also ordered the watermelon lime seltzer and it was absolutely delicious. If you are in the area give this place a chance you won’t be disappointed.

Finney's Crafthouse is a great spot for a restaurant and bar experience. Their smashburger with double meat is fantastic, and the bacon blue cheese is solid too. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

Food is always good, very relaxing fun place to eat. Just watch out on when you self check out the tipping system is not correct and was tipping on top of sales tax and the full total. I always tip 18% but what 18% should be was charging 22%.

As a long-time regular at Finney’s, I’m incredibly disappointed with the direction this place has taken. For years, my friends and I have enjoyed spending time here, getting to know the amazing people behind the bar. However, 2024 has been a rough year for the staff, and frankly, the bar's treatment of its employees is unacceptable.

Finney’s has let go of several beloved bartenders, including Sarah, Mattie, Richard, and now Amadi, for what seem to be completely ridiculous reasons. These are people who built relationships with regulars like me and made this place feel like a home away from home. Their absence is noticeable, and the atmosphere has completely changed.

It’s clear the management is fostering a toxic work environment where employees are constantly on edge, fearful for their jobs. This isn’t just bad for the staff—it’s bad for the customers too. The heart of any good bar is its people, and Finney’s is quickly losing its soul.

Until they rethink how they treat their team, I can’t recommend Finney’s like I used to. It’s disheartening to see such a great place lose its way.

We happened to arrive between 3:00 and 6 which is happy hour. They have a great selection of meals and drinks at happy hour prices. I'm not sure if they have their own parking lot but we found some street parking. They have about 30 different draft beers. The food was delicious. I had the hamburger with melted cheese and my wife had chicken wings.

Appetisers are amazing! I recommend coming here for drinks and Appetisers while catching the game.
Inside is a bit too loud for me but I think it would be fun for a younger crowd. If you can get a table outside it is much more pleasant and fun to people watch. Our entrees were just ok. Next time I will get only apps. Great kids menu too. Large portions!

I tried their Buffalo Wings ( I'm from Buffalo), they are awful! They tried to make them hot using garlic salt, which makes them salty and garlicky.
The hostess took our cell # and gave us a pager. After an hour and a half, we asked what happened? They opps but sat us quickly after, saw that happening to several others. Could not suggest this place for anyone.

To start off, the service and atmosphere were great, unfortunately the food was not. I ordered the nashville chicken and I got deep fried chicken, with mild bbq sauce that had been lathered on and tasted 2 out of 10, which then gave stomach problems later. Table ordered a couple of burgers which had zero seasoning and tasted bland with other add ons. I will say deviled eggs were ok, to include side salad. Kitchen needs some training....

I've been here a few times and love it every time. If you want a more sports bar vibe, you can sit inside and if you're feeling the more California chill lifestyle, they have a nice outdoor area (fans and heaters are there depending on the weather). The burgers are amazing (as are the truffle fries) and the cocktails are fun. The pretzel is also delicious and the dipping sauces are excellent. Highly recommend!

Relaxed and chilled atmosphere, great menu with vegetarian and gluten free options. Quick service despite being very busy. Food was fresh and very tasty and the gluten free bun was delicious. Great place to sit, eat and relax.

This is a review of Finney's, the crafthouse. Not to be confused with Denny's the diner, or Jinney that girl from high school.
For a craft house there was certainly a stark lack of crafts available. No miniature looms, finger paints, clay. Don't get your hopes up. It's a craft house for adults, to drink! The burger I ordered was a tad rarer than medium rare but was very good. Plenty of flavor. Food was reasonably priced. What stood out though was that my food arrived FASTER than my drink order (draft beer). Exceedingly fast. That has never happened in my life! The tater tots are really good. I think they batter them in onion rings batter.

I mean, I love this place. Some would score it lower, but I'm a simple thembo of simple needs. Some really inventive menu items, routinely surprised at how much I enjoy ones I haven't tried. Nice vibes, super dig going here.

Pretty meh. We asked for no cilantro on a salad. Brought it out with a ton of cilantro. Had to flag down a waiter to tell them. No apology Had to send it back. By the time it arrived the second time. Most of our party was done eating. Portions kind of small. Slightly overpriced. The interactive tablets on the tables with stupid $3 games are so tacky and feel desperate to nickel and dime customers for entertainment while they wait for their food. Great beer selection tho. Basically only come here for burgers and beer. No other appeal.

This location has seen a number of restaurants come and go, over the past 20+ years, with Finney's being but the latest. If my most recent couple of visits are a gauge, though, I think Finney's has a strong chance to endure. The service was friendly and professional, without being intrusive. The food was diverse and high quality, without being pretentious. The atmosphere was inviting, though occasionally too loud (not the fault of the restaurant so much as of one table of slightly tipsy and very inconsiderate patrons). The outdoor patio is spacious and well appointed with heat lamps, for the cooler days and evenings. We enjoyed a variety of appetizers and entrees, and look forward to returning.

Smack in the Burbank promenade, it is easy to park and get to Finney's. We found a place half a block away.
We had the bison burger and pastrami Ruben, both were tasty. The burger came stand alone while the pastrami came with chips and a bit of sauerkraut.
The prices on the menu were reasonable. The service was good. I especially like the way you pay at the machine that is at each table. Makes for convenient departure when you want and don't have to flag the wait person for the check.
Will definitely go back to try other things on the menu.

The food is good.. burgers were ok...strange how you have to pay extra for fries.. normally fries should come with a burger so it was on the pricey side. 04.16.24 at 8:40 p.m. an unpleasant incident occurred. There was a very bad impression. My wife and child and I wanted to sit in this restaurant, they came and signed up and waited for their turn. Three guys came after us and they were jailed before us. What I told the staff. It's real discrimination!!!!! I don't recommend this place. We used to go to it a lot. I hope the management will read this review and deal with the staff.

I think I just had the shrinkflation special. I went with a friend. He ordered a $16 salad, I ordered their smash burger and a side salad which cost about $16 as well. My friend ordered 2 Cadillac Margaritas which were about $15 each. My friend's salad was not that exciting.

The smash burger was pathetically small. It was a smallish bun and the patties were smaller than it. The side salad was quite small and almost all lettuce and dressing. There were a few halved cherry tomatoes in it. I expected a LOT more.

Our total bill without tip was $75. Without drinks it would have been $55 + tip which is terrible considering the food we got. I had to get another burger from Shake Shack on the way to the car. If you want to pay for atmosphere, you'll like Finney's. Not my thing.

Good atmosphere, friendly host but waitress was lacking, like she rather not be there, food was fine, the tater tots was crispy but bland, it does come with dipping. Their payment machine calculated tips after tax was added, which is WRONG! Please re-set your machine to before tax.

My wife got a Cesar salad with salmon which was also very good and my son ordered a Hickory BBQ burger, his specific words were “wow” that’s a really good burger. I also ordered the watermelon lime seltzer and it was absolutely delicious. If you are in the area give this place a chance you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect place to be with friends in a Friday night. I just had the Peggy's Crispy Chicken, perfect tone of spiciness. Excellent service for customers and the ambience is very good.

Is sad food ok for bars but service not to good sat at the bar , when I was ordering I felt like I was bothering them not even once they came and asked if we one to order something else after the first the drink not very friendly

Food is delicious. The food menu is simple and isn't overwhelming. The line does get long at night for dinner but worth the wait. The food quality is good. I can't compare it to other restaurants, it has its own unique taste which I enjoy alot.

I have been to Finneys numerous times, and not once have I had a bad meal. Food is very decently proportioned, and the flavors will make your eyes roll into the back of your head on the first bite. In a good way. Service has been attentive every time. This place is always jumping, but wait times have been around 10-15 minutes at worst. Due to location, there are plenty of places to walk around while you wait, and the staff will text you when your table is ready. I have never been disappointed at Finneys.

I visited Finney's with my son on a cold rainy day in Burbank. The service was good, and the food was very good. I didnt know what to expect, but had been wanting to visit for a few months. This go round we had a grilled chicken club sandwich and I had the Waygu Burger. The grilled chicken sando was pretty good, and reminded me of the grilled chicken I occasionally make in the backyard grill. The Waygu Burger was juicy and flavorful, served with onion rings I asked for. To start I had a small tray of ahi tuna/poke tacos topped with crema. Overall, I thought I got a good meal for the price and would be happy to return soon. Seems it would be a great place to stop by and watch the game regardless of what "game" you plan to watch :)

Very nice/possibly overly attentive service, hardest rubberiest wings we’ve ever had. Advertised as habanero, no spice only sweet. Extremely white freezer burnt carrots. The strangest matte look to the fried foods. Also…. Squeaky. Every bite squeaky. Confused by a sports bar that has inedible fried stuff.

Had meetup lunch with buddies from previous work place. Located where "Fuddruckers" was. My Bison burger was excellent, food reasonable. Not a drinker so can't comment on the beer. Definitely a return spot.

Loved the burger itself but when it came out it was absolutely sopping wet/falling apart. It might have been the pickled onions or maybe meat juice but it turned a 5+ star hamburger patty into a 3.5 star cheeseburger dish. I wonder what exactly I could say next time to avoid that happening, if I come back.

Pretty good pub food. I had a burger and fries, nice juicy burger and crispy fries.. staff were very attentive and friendly.
The manager came out to check with all the patrons, nice touch, this used to be done a lot in my day, you don't see it as much.
They have a great array of beers and cocktails.
If you are in the area I'd definitely recommend it.

Food was ok, nothing special. Good selection of beers but I went for their house red blend which was not good sadly. Service was good albeit a younger not-as-experienced staff. The place is loud but that's basically that area which is quite busy with foot traffic.

Fries don't come with the burgers!!! WTH. My burger was $12. $3 extra for fries. Burgers always came with fries!

They have cauliflower "Buffalo wings" Good spicy sauce and a nice amount of blue cheese. The cauliflower chunks are a bit large. Onion ring tower was crispy and not too greasy. Tip.. dip in Sriracha ketchup, then the ranch dressing.. nice combo.

Came here with co-workers for some great beer and food.
First time coming, will most definetly be back! Loved the Finney's craft brews, ipa's etc. Totally recommend.

I was very surprised by how good the food was for a beer place ambience.
