Ameci Pizza Kitchen

If you asked me to show you a place that uses NY pizzas name to mislead customers this spot would be it. Sad excuse for pizza, the most average pizza I’ve ever ate in my life and I’m including school pizza in that. The only thing that makes this a one star is the fact that they think this pizza is worth $17 which in reality is worth $7. If u willingly pay this price u are being robbed and taken advantage of. Don’t be fooled by the photo quality which actually looks pretty good, the second I opened this box I was “what is this, this is not the crispy burnt crust I saw on their website”.

The window sign says "by the slice" but they can only sell me a 1 topping combo with a soda if I want one slice. I don't want a soda or ang toppings. Can't even pay for and get a plain slice without buying a combo. That's the least NY way of selling pizza.

Dang, they got me good with their calzone. I ordered their Meat Lovers Calzone and now I’m hooked. Definitely going back for more. Flavorful and delicious, every bite was a taste of heaven. Can’t wait to see what else they have to offer

At first I thought this place wasn’t too bad. The pizza is alright. I’d usually come for the ajarski though. I haven’t tried this place for a few months since the last time I came I got the ajarski but the eggs were completely raw, like literally as if they had just cracked them. I know the eggs aren’t supposed to be fully cooked but it was literally completely raw. But at least I let them know and they put that right. But today I came back for the first time since then, I got the ajarski and when I got home I found it was again completely raw. Like I get making a mistake sometimes, but c’mon, twice in a row? To me it seems like there is no quality control at all. Looks like a salmonella case waiting to happen.

Incredible service here, Arthur deserves a raise for doing exactly as I asked, I asked him to put as much meat as possible onto the slice of pizza, and he delivered fully. I would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Hands down the best pizza experience I’ve ever had.

The pictures don't do it justice. The pizza was fantastic. The ingredients, especially the ricotta cheese, were fresh and delicious. Burbank has a few pizza options to choose from but in my opinion, it'll be tough to beat Ameci's.

We were visiting the area for the weekend and looking for a good pizza. The pizza we got here was fantastic, and the service was very friendly. If I lived here we would definitely be back for more!

Do NOT get food from here. This is the third time I have ordered Ajarski, came home and saw that the eggs are completely RAW. High risk of salmonella. Management sucks. They hire bunch of teenagers who fail to properly prepare the food. DISGUSTED.

Having tried NY pizza it’s hard for me to eat “regular” or “American” style pizza. However, I will say that Ameci’s is the best out of the typical pizza chains like Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, etc.

These people shouldn't run a pizza joint at all. low/limited menu and the pizza is never the same.. no quality control.. a bunch of young kids who only care about your money and how awesome they think they are driving g wagons with LOUD PIPES...food is totally over priced.. 7-11has better pizzs for less... If they put any toppings on your pizza, it's probably a picture...🤙

I really like the pizza. Thin crust a little more than the thick crust but overall great pizza. They are definitely fast and you can order by the slice so big thumbs up. While I did not order it I did take notice on the menu that they had vegan options also a plus

This place is run by teenagers. I called many times to order a pizza, every time they pick up the phone and say "Please hold" and leave me on hold for ever (literally).
So I had to drive there to order instead and wait, and I witnessed what they do; every time the phone rings they say "please hold" and keep chatting and messing around. When I took this photo, someone was actually on hold, and the guy that told them to please hold is on instagram watching reels. They did this many times while I waited for my pizza.
Pizza was decent.
Unbelievable.

The cheese slices were pretty tasty! The dough was a bit thicker and chewier than the average New York slice, and the cheese was also layered on a bit thicker too - it made for a nice indulgent slice! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their "pizza by the slice" is only available in combos (1 slice + soda, or 2 slices + soda), so you can't add individual slices to your order unless you also add a soda with each slice. This wasn't a problem, but something to be aware of if you're going in for the first time. I had originally wanted three slices, but two ended up being very filling. The interior had plenty of seating, but felt a little sparse (there was no trash can for customers, for example) so I think most of their business must be to-go or delivery orders. The combo was an amazing deal, with two slices and a can of soda coming to just over $6 after tax. Overall a solid slice, I'll definitely be back to try some other flavors soon!

I came here because of all the great reviews. I ordered the mango habanero wings and they were 10/10 by far the best wings I’ve ever had. Will be coming back.

Ok Ameci's pizza - You knocked this one out of the park! My large pizza fantastic, my garlic cheese rolls were absolutely delicious, the cheese bread was fantastic! The delivery was very speedy! The only thing you forgot were the requested utensils. But I wont knock the review down due to that. Keep doing what youre doing its 110% delicious!!

We've eaten here for over 30 years. Typically we tell them to cook the pizza longer as it tends to be extremely soggy.

i ordered two slices of pizza, and a dead fly was cooked onto my pizza. I've been going there for years and I was sad when it was closed for the longest time since that was one of the first places I had gone to for pizza as a kid. I can't even look at it anymore when I drive by these days.

Ordered a jumbo with extra sauce and cheese. The pizza was so thin, no way it had extra. Didn’t feel like I got what I paid for. Pretty disappointed as they used to be better.

Just went here for a pickup order and there was only 1 of 2 employees wearing a mask. The person who handed me my order was not wearing a mask and one of the cooks was without a mask and not wearing gloves and he tossed through pepperoni. We are in the middle of the COVID Omicron surge and this is unacceptable. I normally order delivery so I had no idea the people cooking my food were not wearing mask. Will not be ordering here again ever.

Ameci’s is an amazing pizza place. If you want a unique pizza come here. They also accept EBT for the hot meal. They are very generous and provide excellent customer service. Arthur, one of the workers is very generous and will go out of his way to make sure you get the 100% customer service you need. :)

Got a pizza today with someone's used bandaid in the crust.

Not feeling faithful, didn't get a call back from the gm yet... guess he is too busy while i get to not eat tonight due to contamination

Scam scam scam. I've been coming here since they opened. I order the same thing every time,It's not everyone's favorite pizza. Jumbo 12' pepperoni, extra cheese x 3. I pay for it! An extra 1.89 every time.They stopped putting it on. I like my pizza like that. They used to make it, no problem... The last order was regular cheese and I pay for triple. typical, discriminatory, Glendale business. not shocked. I got refund thankfully. Can't stand the attitudes here. Entitled punks. Ameci, you know who I am, call me to dispute. you're horrible for Glendale.you kept doing it and I've documented every time w/ door dash you con artists

My last experience was better than the one before. I decided, it must depends on who is doing the cooking. The inconsistencies of the construct of the produce reflect and is validation of what I have encountered throughout the pandemic.
I have tasted good, incredible pizza, but not at Ameci.

Highly recommend this spot! My girlfriend and I picked up pizza and pasta on New Year's Eve. I could tell they were very busy and stressed but the team was still very attentive and helpful to everyone that called or walked in for an order. The food was also great, especially for the price.

try buying by the piece. slice cheese only..pr iij ced a little $3..gets you a slice of cheese pizza and a can of soda....Not a good as the old Pizza Pete's On Corner of Glenade Ave and Colorado Blvd jn the 1960s-1990...Glendale, California , but those were the days..14inch x 28 inch trays of thick tasty cheese pizza...good times to remember...

I have been a loyal customer of Ameci pizza until now. My husband and I ordered a large 3 topping pizza w/salad. Upon arrival and opening the pizza box, we notice several burnt areas of the top of the pizza, and then proceeded to lift the pizza slice up only to discover the bottom was burnt as well. I called Ameci pizza to try to rectify this and was told that I had a prior complaint that the pizza was burnt, THAT'S BECAUSE IT WAS. I was offered no remaking of the pizza, no refund, only a attitude from a substandard manager. In these economic times where businesses are closing down left and right you would think that Ameci pizza would try to keep their customers. I guess not. I will take my business elsewhere where I and my family are appreciated. REMEMBER REVIEWS ARE EVERYTHING.. ENOUGH SAID.

Nothing close to NY style. Pasta dishes must have MSG. Fountain drink machine was “out of order”, but canned products offered🤔. All in all, food was bland. Customer service was great and restaurant was clean and stylish. FRIENDS reruns streamed through an AMC like audio system.

Great local pizza. We ordered 3 medium pizzas and some spaghetti with meat sauce. The spaghetti was basic but good but the pizzas and crusts were great. Fast service too. We live a block away and ordered online for pick up. Super nice and everything was made as expected

I love to try new places and thought I would give Ameci Pizza a try. I was very impressed. I called in and ordered and was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I showed up exactly 20 minutes later and the pizza had just come out of the oven and was being put in a box as I paid the charge. Took the pizza home and was delighted to have a great tasting pizza. I will definitely order again and would highly recommend.

Travelled with my wife from Ohio to LA on our Harley. Stayed at the Hampton on Glenoaks. Heard very good things about Ameci, good reviews..... Called for delivery, let the phone ring on speaker for 5 minutes no answer. After 2 minutes it became a quest to make them answer. No luck. Apparently the pizza is so good they don't have to answer their phone

I am visiting California from New York. I looked for a pizzeria using google maps. Amerci Pizza popped up. I viewed the photos of the food from Google maps. Looked good. I wanted to try them. I can remember coming here for a pizza party back when I was in kindergarten (aka when The Rocketeer kicked Iron Man's ass- '90) and thinking, "this is the greatest pizza in the world." Then I grew older, experimented with other pizza vendors, and realized... There has always been one pizza... This entire time. *cue Yellowcard's "Only One"* For a plain cheese pizza, there's nothing better than Ameci's. They make plain taste extraordinary. Appetizers? Potato munchers - also amazing. And I'm not even high... Right now. As far as service goes, they've always been on time with their deliveries and transactions are always smooth. What's there to complain about? Aside from the fact that they're not my neighbors.

Great place for lunch (large specials selection). At the ordering desk , a phone call came in , but the sales person told then to hold on a sec while he finished up with my order. I really appreciate the high level of service ; plus , the food is great too.
