Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria - Burbank

Visited this place about a week ago. Was first time trying them after seeing them on Instagram. We ordered 1 of the 28 inch pizzas half combo half all meat combo, and a side of lemon pepper wings. The wings were good, but the pizza was definitely the star of the show. I don't lnow what side i liked more, the all meat was so good, the meats were nice and crispy yet still soft and chewy, the combo side was also amazing, the veggies tasted fresh amd were the perfect offset for the meats that are on it. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was pretty clean and organized. Side note, to reheat pizza use an air fryer, it almost taste as good as it did fresh out the oven. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Purchased a large 2 topping pizza. Came to $31 and change (very pricey for a 2 topping pizza, but what can ya do). Delivered pretty quickly. Pizza was delicious until I FOUND GLASS IN MY PIZZA SLICE!!! Called and informed the person who answered the phone (I assume was the manager as I didn't speak to anyone else). I was asked to send a picture of the glass (which I did) and was then informed that there was no way possible that he could see how glass could end up in my pizza. He made it seem like I was scamming them for something free (of which I never asked for anything for free). The "best they could do" was to remake the pizza. I had them do this and have it delivered again. The driver had a very standoffish attitude (borderline rude) and must have thought I was going to scream or yell at him due (which I did not do. Wasn't his fault). Over all the food was very good but the customer service is VERY lacking.

Came in on a Thursday afternoon, you order at the counter then sit down, I got one mini gondola pizza was told it would take 15 mins, ends up taking 30 minutes and the egg came out underdone they also give me plastic utensils which cannot even pierce the crust and just fall apart I asked for metal and they said they don’t have it lol, the food was actually good minus the undercooked eggs keep in mind the place was completely dead so I don’t know why it took so long In the first place, but just remember people they don’t have any metal silverware according to the staff.

We have been coming here since they opened and customer service and the pizza been great. They have a sports bar here as well with tv's up on the wall.
I just heard the original owner just sold the store, hopefully everything stays the same.

We were a big party with a lot of loud kids, but the staff was super understanding and nice. They let us hold the party with our own cake and even gave us extra free food for our party. My family and I have been ordering in there for years now, but this really solidified it as my favorite pizza restaurant in the area.

If you set promotions to get clients and don't abide by your promotion but only put excuses due to technicalities, you will get the contrary. I dislike people not sticking to their word. Too bad, the food was great, but the service spoiled the entire experience. First time going there and last time.

Excellent pizzas at great prices! We ate here after a long and exhausting day at Universal Studios. Staff were great, salad was fresh, and pizza was hot and tasty! They should rename the charred pepperoni the “bad breath” because it was smothered in onions and garlic, but in the best possible way 🤣

Food is very good with the service. , but the sports bar is horrible 😫. All they show on there TV screens are psst old soccer games When there's Baseball season and the Dodgers are playing.. no show in the sports bar. Go to Shakey's Pizza or BJ's to catch a game

It's feeling more and more like a house for a takeout joint only. All I got was beer there and the service was terrific. I've eaten here before and it is good. Pizza not the best but fresh and to the point. They have a bar but it's secondary to the rest of the place

Takes awhile to get the food (15-20 min.) but they start your order right away and it takes awhile because it's fresh, not laying around under a heat lamp. It's well worth the wait. Anything good is worth waiting for. I heard they are going to let you phone ahead in the near future; then no wait. I don't know if they deliver because I live too far away for that. Call and see.

Visiting from North Dakota and wanted a pizza our last night here. We eat a lot of pizzas from around the country and this is by far one of the best pizza's I've ever tasted. Had to wait for it to be made but it was well worth it. I can see why they're so busy. Highly recommend to anyone who loves pizza.

Their website says a large 16” cheese pizza is over 25 dollars. Pulse a delivery fee, so one pizza costs over 35 bucks plus tip. WTH?

I, personally used to like this place, but ever since the new ownership, the food doesn't test as great as befor ,and the price for 15 inch pizza has become $29 plus tax.
I couldn't believe paying $32 for 8 small slices.
And honestly, it's not just the price, cold faces ignoring customers questions.
Sorry, but I will never recommend this restaurant.
I wish if I could give less than one star 🌟

My first and last time. It was my son's birthday so we ordered like 100 dollars worth of food. Everything had something wrong with it, and the food wasn't good. I ordered potato skins with no bacon and it had more bacon than anything else. I almost chipped my tooth on a full olive pit. I'm so very disappointed. I wish I could turn back time and go somewhere else.

Very good customer service experience. The stuff doing great job. Thank you guys a lot!!! However, the kitchen should improve the quality of food! The pizza we ordered, I would say it does not taste delicious, it's OK (and this is a 🌟 plus) I guess because of using chip convenience food. We tried much better.

Great quality, but it's still a pizza place at the end of the day. Not sure if it's worth the amount of money they charge. Before I go there, I always ask if I'd rather have black caviar or pizza today? The answer is usually pizza.

Great pizza, huge slices and full pies, and some really good deals. I got the giant slice (4 tones as big as a regular) with a drink for $10. This is one off my favorite pizza places in the valley for sure.

Really good pizza and wings. Service was top notch. Beers were also nice and cold. Me and my gf come often here and the employees are always friendly and fast and make the pizza delicious. Will definitely be coming back here whenever I can, best place to come sit down for some wings and beer also.

Didn't have the pizza yet. Tried the calzone and lasagna bites, they're pretty solid. For the price I'd say the food should be a step above where it is but this is definitely a step above Domino's or Pizza Hut. Actually, it reminds me of the old days when Pizza Hut was a sit down but with a little better food. All in all solid and I'll get back to try the pizza itself soon.

When I want pizza right after work this is the place I go to. They make the best pizza in town. The service is always great. The staff is wonderful the restuarant is neat. They have plenty of places for you to sit at. They have a bar if you want a slice and such. The sizes of the pizzas are out of this world. If you are wanting a pizza on your own I suggest just getting a slice because it is still a good amount for yourself.
