California Pizza Kitchen at Burbank

I brought my wife’s entire family this noon for lunch and we really had a good time. All of us ordered our own set of lunch specials. Big servings of delicious food, quick service and comfortable atmosphere.

Oooh I’ve been coming here for years (High school days), arrived on a weekday and took advantage of the lunch specials. (Great deals) brought my niece and we discussed the service, presentation and food, she loved them all and wanted me to give them 5 stars! Lol, the service was lacking a bit but there was only one server.
The pizza and salads were good and even though the server was by herself she was really sweet with my niece!

Our waiter was super friendly, the food was prepared in a timely manner and was delicious as always. Cpk Burbank never disappoints. The Carne Asada Pizza & Chicken Tequila Fettuccine are my go-tos !!

I have been working in restaurants half of my life now. So days like today I am so glad I was off to enjoy dinner with my wife. We chose CPK to try out their Valentine’s Day meal for two. We arrived at around 7:30 and we were told it would be a 45 minute wait unless we wanted to eat at the bar. We had to make a movie so we chose to sit at the bar and we were very happy we did. From where we sat, we could see how busy the place was as order after order left the to-go area to our right. Our server Katrina, I don’t think I saw her stop moving once (other than to take orders or to refill drinks). Regardless of how tired she must have been, her service was fast and friendly. The staff handling the to-go area were also quite friendly and very helpful helping us pick out dessert.

For our appetizer, we chose the Bianco Flatbread. It was crisp and very tasty.
For our entrees, my wife ordered the original bbq chopped chicken salad. She absolutely loved it, she said it was “perfect!”

I chose the Santa Fe Power Bowl and I have to say I truly enjoyed it. Although the butter cake did destroy our diet, I have to say it was worth it and we are thankful for the servers recommending it.

So, thank you CPK and, most of all, Katrina. I hope they know how much of an asset you are. We will be back soon.

AMAZING food! More than just pizza! Avocado egg rolls are delicious, as is everything else. Great service. Very clean inside and outdoor areas including the street is immaculate! Free parking lot next door and a bunch of fun shops nearby including a big movie theater.

The CPK in Burbank is one of my favorite to dine in. They have really good fresh baked pizza all the time as well as the salads and the soups are tastier too.The employees are really nice and friendly. And they have also a lot of parking space in the other side of the building.

This was our first time at this CPK and we loved it. Parking is easy, the place is large with nice spacing between the tables and it, as most CPKs is very clean. It is also very pretty inside and out.

It was a little crowded but we were seated right away and a server was with us in a minute. The menu is the same at most CPKs so we knew what we wanted, having been to so many of them.

Or server was great. She got our order right and was very nice. We had a BBQ pizza, which is so good with chicken and a wonderful BBQ sauce on it. We also had a Thai pizza, one of our favorites and this also comes with chicken and a Caesars salad which was great and their chopped Italian salad which we love. All of it was great.

We had lemonade which was very tasty.

What we really loved was their red velvet cake. We don't usually get dessert but it was so good, we also got one to take home. It lasted less than an hour at home, next time we will get three of them. It is just the best. It is moist and the frosting is not too sweet and it comes with whipped cream.

We had a great time and so will you.

Had lunch on Sunday with a friend at the Burbank CPK and was very disappointed. The menu had changed. I ordered 3 items. No soup available. No burgers. No sandwiches. Finally settled on a salad that wasn’t very good.
And no toilet paper in the bathroom!
We definitely won’t be going back!

The kitchen staff and the manager really carried this visit into nice time territory. Going to a restaurant is always tricky between shifts, and a certain degree of understanding and patience is definitely needed.

This was one of those times, and boy did the front of the house staff make us wait. So much so that the manager came over to handle the table service.

After the initial confusion and having to wait until after the bread was served to get water, things got much smoother. In the end, the food was tasty as it usually is here. The dual wood ovens make a pizza like none other can.

Lastly, I'm a little biased for this location. In the years of yonder, I was a kitchen manager here when it was a bit more upscale, but this was almost two decades ago.

It's so sad here. If you didn't know it was here, you'd drive past thinking it was closed. No lighting outside and zero traffic.

Inside, it's like an imitation of what a CPK used to be. It has the look, but it's just a shell, and one entire side if the restaurant is closed and just used for utensil prep.

Speaking of utensils, my knife had lettuce on it when I unrolled the napkin. Gross.

Speaking of gross, avoid the bathrooms. Ugh.

Service was very good. Food was overall good.

Just sad, though.

Super fun spot and right next to all the shopping area in downtown Burbank. Also a great spot for groups... they allow you to split the check.

Stopped by this restaurant for a quick bite, but ended up staying longer, due to the friendly staff, great pizza & most importantly, exceptional service. A special shout out to Henry!!! Who, along with his staff, shows that having fun & being passionate about what you do, makes a huge impression on your customers. Highly recommended this restaurant.

Food very good.Thank you Brittney for stepping in on service.Our server was the worst.Get rid of Andrew. The worst Server. Our food was brought out by another server which is fine because Andrew was no where to be found.We had no utensils to eat with.And Andrew no where to be found.Brittney heard me asking for a Mgr.And she came right over with refills for our tea and utensils.Andrew never smiled once and came to the table once with a hand gesture is everything ok but blind to the fact that tea need a refill and we had no utensils.I know it this day and age it’s hard to get anyone to work and to find good help.But clueless servers can take your business down in this Climate. I managed a very well known Cafe in Sherman Oaks for 25 years and I know what can Ruin a business.And this kind of service can.Maybe more training?I love your food and would hate to see you close like so many Restaurant have because of service.

Studio City CPK is by far the best in the area. Fresh salads, no wilted lettuce and brown lettuce; the watermelon in the Strawberry Fields salad looked as if it was "out in the field" all day - mind you my order was at 3pm. Not as expected. Disappointed. I was a little concerned when I saw I wasn't getting today's order from Studio City. Burbank CPK do better quality check of your items, and especially salad - lettuce and all salad ingredients. OMG! The dressing is even watered down 😤

Food was good. The service that day was a bit slow. They are usually on it, but something was not right that day. Usually a bit too cold in the restaurant, but I just bring a light jacket to keep myself comfortable. I would definitely go back and I do recommend this location. 👌🏽

Came here yesterday after playing bowling at Round1. Great atmosphere. The waiter John was really nice. He helped us with our food and services and was quick to respond when we needed help. Always come here to get the Carne Asada Pizza, amazing as always.

I ordered pasta with chicken, overcooked pasta and tough to eat chicken. The best thing was the server who took care of us, also, went to just use the bathroom to wash my hands and the state of that bathroom was harsh to see.

It is Saturday 2:00pm and decided to pop into CPK for lunch. We wanted about five mins to be seated. It was not very busy but there was a visual lack of employees anywhere on the floor or behind the counter. There was a group of about five employees over by the restroom around a table chatting. We sat for 14 minutes and no one came to take our order or even acknowledge we were there. There was no one around to make talk to. We got fed up waiting and seeing the staff had no interest in working, there was little point on waiting around so we left and I won’t be going back there again. I guess there goes another business from Burbank.

Food came so late it was already cold when they served it to us, it was done cooking but they didn't serve it to us after 15 minutes. I'm pretty sure that they literally FORGOT about us. The seating took way too long as well even though there wasn't too much people.

Cane here for my father in laws' birthday and this place did not disappoint. Friday nite, party of 6, and staff was able to seat us roughly 15-20 minutes after entering. Alec immediately took our drinks and starters and those showed up in a timely manner. I ordered the shrimp scampi and its pretty good for a chain style sit down restaurant, plenty of flavor and they definitely did not skip out on the shrimp! Give em' a try, you wont be disappointed

It's been a year and a half since I been here. I do not know how much things changed. The prices weren't cheap but were Definetely worth it. The servers were polite and very professional but also friendly and made me feel more like a wanted guest rather than a customer.

Tried there Carne Asada pizza and it didn't disappoint at all. The pesto sauce along with mozzarella cheese, poblano chilies, onion, cilantro and a green chili sauce creates a mouth watery experience.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Extremely disappointed with this CPK, take the 10-15 drive and go to a different location, the one in Glendale or even Pasadena.

My partner and I came in on a Friday night after the movies expecting it to be busy and knowing there would be a wait. Sure enough, after 25 minutes we were seated (which was fine since we expected it) and about 15 minutes after another couple was seated near us.

Our server took our drink order and took a long time to come back for our actual food order. So long we never even refilled our drinks. Once the food order was placed he did not come back around us (only yelled from another table that the food order was in and would be coming). It took an extremely long time, as in the couple next to us received their food first. When I received my order my pasta was tougher than al dente (it was straight up crunchy). My partners bowl was supposed to have meat and didn't have any. When I let my server know about my food he told us that while he could put and order in again, it would take a long time and didn't recommend it.

As such we shared the bowl my partner ordered (the one that should have had meat but didn't have any). When our server said he would help handle the bill for all the issues we encountered, all he did was take off my meal (which he should because I literally didn't eat any of it) and an additional $1 and something cents. For reference CPK up charges over $3 for any protein so to see this was a slap in the face.

When the manager reached out to correct the issue, she was kind enough to send a NON VALID CARD for us to try again at the restaurant. Way to waste my time and money, thank you Michelle.

Never again. Trust me, you'll have a better experience at either the Glendale or Pasadena locations. (Our personal favorite is the one in the Arcadia mall but that's just because their servers are faster and more attentive and it's the mall so you can either shop or see a show before/after)

I had an oven -roasted Turkey Brie Sandwich. Loved the flavor combination of crisp apple and nutty brie that come together in this sandwich. damn good 👍

Fettuccine had no sauce, it was oily with garlic and undercooked. Service was slow for a mostly empty restaurant and when asked to heat my drink brought me boiling drink which cause a serious burn on my tongue when I tried to sip it. They apparently also had no heater. It was under 60 degrees inside. it was extraordinarily cold.

Nice environment, nice servers, good food. The parking structure is close to the restaurant too. We loved the classic CPK Barbecue Chicken Pizza! And the Thai Salad is excellent (although it's a bit spicy). Overall, this is a nice restaurant and worth the trip to go out! :-)

I came by when they were short-staffed but that is not why I have put two stars. The food was too expensive for the quality. The pizza was so chewy it hurt my jaw eating it. The wagyu burger was the location's saving grace. The guacamole I ordered was my least favorite part, mainly because I am not a huge fan of corn in my guacamole. As a tip, do not eat outside, it smells like sewage and will ruin your appetite.

I think prices went a bit up and they re vamp the menu. Some favorites are gone like the cali sandwich. However, there are a few new things that are really surprisingly good like the buffalo cauliflower ( no cilantro pls) and they now have a burger that I need to try.

Overall, a solid place to eat good food and good drinks.

Took my gf there for the first time and she was surprised at how much more there was to order other than pizza. Her favorite was the dumplings and street corn. I really loved the Tropical Moscow Mule drink. Most try if you haven't already.

I had gotten a pepperoni pizza and alfredo pasta. The pizza had almost had zero tomato sauce it felt like I was eating cheese that was barely melted with bread. I had tasted better pizza from chuck.E Cheese. The alfredo pasta felt under cooked and the same problem was there was barely any sauce but even if there was sauce it was so bland it was like I had a mouth full of bland raw pasta. I was upset with my order on every part of the spectrum

It was not fresh, it was so cold and there was no tomato sauce and the veggies were raw. I also ordered a Garlic Cream Fettuccini. The pasta was so hard it was not good.
Don't go here. They serve old food, not fresh, and the quality is so bad.

I enjoyed the Wild Mushroom pizza on a Cauliflower crust with truffle oil. I will come back for it, keto friendly as well. Service friendly and efficient. Mocktails were decent, I ordered the sugar free peach flavored lemonade👍

BEWARE: I was craving CPK today and ordered through the app around 1209PM, drove out and braved the 100 degree heat and traffic to pick it up at 1230PM. Got home and was about to eat and saw mold on the bread that I was about to eat. Can’t eat anything we got now since I have lost appetite. Food on the way to the trash. We went only this time for a drink. The waitress was very friendly and recommended us some drinks. We are used to come once or twice a year and we enjoy some of their dishes.
