Fresh Brothers Pizza Burbank

Skip it. Burned crust – inedible knots. Quality of the toppings and sauce is good, and love the diced mozza, but what's all that matter if you only taste charred crust? Usually love Fresh Brothers (hey Brentwood!), but Burbank misses the mark.

Absolutely terrible. Pizza was extremely overcooked and tasted completely burnt, see pictures. What a waste of $28. Called to let them know how terrible it was and no one answered. We go to the Calabasas location all the time and it's always amazing. Burbank location is horrific. Will not return.

Chicken sausage, artichoke and pesto pizza. Cesar salad. Oder took about ten minutes. Food was great. Light and easy on the stomach. Order came to about 24$ with a small fountain drink included. I was given a 20$ off VIP coupon from an employee, which made my meal worth $2.17. Pizza was a touch too salty,but I would order again.

I stopped by this location to grab some lunch for my son. They had a great kids menu and my son really loved how they made his pizza. The chicken nuggets were also well done. The Staff were super friendly and sweet. I’ll definitely come back again.

It was an amazing experience to have pizza at Fresh Brothers! The pizzas were so fresh, with great toppings, and the hottest! Plus, the attendant Destiny was kind and knowledgeable.

I ordered their Chicago style pizza. If you're expecting a pie, don't get it. It was barely more than a thin crust with high walls and extra sauce. My pizza had barely any cheese, and they give you no measurements online so you end up with a general medium sized pizza for $20 when you were expecting something more substantial at that price point.
I also completed their feedback form after the fact and just got a general automated response a day later.
Don't know about their normal pizza but after my experience I can't recommend and I will not be coming back.

“Thin crust” is not very thin. It’s more like a regular crust at ½” or so. Otherwise it’s a decent pizza.

Update: just paid around $73 for 2 large pizzas. How did it get to $73?

totally basic pizza. One topping medium pizza cost $22. That's ridiculous unless it's spectacular and it's not. I would think that super thin crust would be a little bit crispy but it's not even crispy at all it's total soggy floppy dough. The flavor did not do anything for me and the sauce was a little too sweet. I feel like I could have gotten that pizza anywhere

I used to order from here for lunch all the time since they are right around the corner from where I work and they have vegan cheese for us people that have severe milk intolerance.

Well, I've warned my coworkers with intolerances to stay away! They used real cheese on my last order that made me violently ill. When I came in the next day to just let them know what had happened, figuring to flag it for future because hey mistakes happen and to at least get a sorry, the girl at the counter was completely unapologetic and told me I shouldn't order off of Uber Eats, that I shouldve come in the day it happened (while I was sick??). I showed her the Uber Eats ticket, which was correct, but somehow it's still my fault for ordering off Uber Eats. Maybe teach your employees proper customer service and that an apology goes a long way, take some accountability!

9.99 lunch deal - personal pizza, salad, and a drink. Can't beat that these days. As with most restaurants on Riverside Drive, parking is difficult. I really like their gluten-free pizza (not part of the lunch deal).

They do *NOT* do any Cash Transactions for any of thier goods & services for this particular location. . . So please be prepared to use a Credit/Debit Card and/or Digital App for transaction. If they only posted this out front at the door or window with signage, then everyone would know before even coming into this place for some pizza

Great pizza. Nice staff, please tip our food service worker industry people. I have never been disappointed with this pizza. I hope they stay around a long time. I recommend every item, except the vegan stuff, I eat meat so I can't share an opinion on the vegan items.

Best pizza place. Love the higher quality ingredient option over other pizza places. Some of my family members will only eat fresh brothers pizza. Even over numero uno.

What gets 4 stars:
Vegan Deep Dish with Impossible & Vegan Sausage
This is the closest thing I can get to Amici's deep dish up in San Francisco (it's not nearly as good but it's still the best I've found down in LA). Tried without the Impossible and it wasn't so great--but with the Impossible it's awesome.
What gets -1 stars:
The dough knots which are atrocious, giant blobby balls of dough. Really terrible. Dino's Pizza in Burbank does the dough knots perfectly; quite the opposite of these.
Price is a little on the high side, but I honestly think the deep-dish is worth two pizzas from most places.

Garlic knots raw in the center. When food was delivered, no one bothered to knock to announce the delivery, so who knows how long my food had been sitting in front of my apartment.

Maybe they deliver to where you live. Maybe they just don't feel like it today.

Worthless customer service.

I placed an order through the Fresh Brothers app--I didn't choose this location, the company's app chose this location because it is the closest to my. house of their many nearby locations.

Their email confirmed a delivery time of 55 minutes.

About an hour and a half later with no sign of pizza, I checked my email--they sometimes send an update if they are running behind. Eventually I picked up my phone and saw that the manager had called to tell me I am out of their delivery zone. Funny, since I'd ordered three days ago through their app, and pizza was delivered from this same location. And my wife had ordered for us the week before.

The manager said I should try calling one of the other stores and asking them to deliver to my address. What a colossal waste of my time. I'll just take this as a sign to eat less pizza.

We called in to order takeout, but they forgot to enter our order in their database so they offered a discount and gave us free bread knots and drinks. They were apologetic and the food was good. There isn't any parking lot, and street parking is sparse, but there's an option for valet in the back. We just got lucky and were able to find a spot right in front the restaurant.

Worst experience ever ! This is the second time coming here and they ruin my order . So called in order they said 30 mins . I arrive 35 mins and pay wait in lobby 5 mins to be told we ran out of salad mix for one of your salads. Why not call before I get there or before I wait . I canceled and will never ever return. Drive from studio city waste and hour . I will continue driving to encino instead of ever going to this location again .... they suck and have terrible customer service

We always order for delivery and something is always wrong once we get it. Savory knots instead of sweet knots. No dressing for the salads. Real cheese instead of vegan. Sometimes they tell us it will be 2 hours before we will get our food because the delivery person just went on a delivery. Anytime we go in there the staff can barely be bothered to muster a smile and acknowledge us. This place is unpleasant and unfriendly, but hey, I like the food most of the time.

Ok, loved this place & planned to order a lot from here but they recently changed their menu & increased the pricing. I used to order a personal pizza ("unlimited" toppings on a 4-5 inch pizza or whatever it is, but it's small) with a salad, $10.99. Now it's $14.00 for the same thing, only now it's ONE topping. And if you want vegan cheese, well, that's your topping. No option to even add anything else (when ordered online). I would imagine they would probably change at least .75 for any other toppings which is completely ridiculous when you're talking about the personal size. Anyway, was happy about the vegan options but now I won't be ordering from here anymore.

Had never heard of Fresh Brothers. I was given a gift certificate, so I used it. Pizza is soooo good!!!! Everything tasted clean and fresh, flavorful!! I'm definitely going back. Location was clean, both inside and out. I took my food to go, but the inside of the restaurant was clean and had TV's to keep you entertained. The parking situation, is horrible, not the restaurants fault, but this Burbank area is know for very limited parking (the minus 1 star) all in all food is good!!! (Edit: to 5 Stars, didn't know about Curbside!!! Thanks Becca)

Hella delicious pizza. But hella expensive. Is it worth it? It’s probably $5-10 over priced. Example: I ordered two large works pizza’s, deep dish and with tip($5) and tax it was $70.

The pizza was amazing and so was the Greek Salad! The delivery service was really good as well. Highly recommend and will definitely order again. Thanks for the great service and food!

I whole-heartedly feel that though they say their ingredients are fresh-made-daily, that's only true at the regional processing facility where the dough is actually made before being chilled and/or frozen for shipping to the franchises. The sauce claims to be not-from-concentrate, but this is true of any canned tomato sauce that isn't reconstituted from a concentrated paste... Hardly equal to an actual fresh sauce made on-site with real tomatoes.

All told, Fresh Bother's offering is tasty, but hardly worth the price tag. At nearly 19 dollars for a one topping pizza that barely out-paces popular national franchise chains, or even a good freezer pizza, one's left feeling a bit short-changed.

Compile that with a 9 dollar Cesar salad that has all the markings of a ready-pac kit, with unremarkable dressing at that, and you've added insult to injury.

Despite high expectations, and ambitious marketing claims, the fresh part of the name doesn't exactly deliver. Oh and speaking of delivery, you'll pay an extra 4 dollars for that luxury.

Bottom line: Tasty pizza, if you're not competing with actual crafted pies, that stands about a step or two above a Dominoes or Papa John's, while charging the premium price of the neighboring cuisine but delivering mass-processed style ingredients and execution. You'll be better served with a freezer pizza and a ready-pac for 1/3 the price.
