We got a Jasmin tea and it was brew at the correct temperature we got the rice bowl and eggs Benedict it was done so good we taste lot of the individual ingredients mix so well that it wasnt a tasting to hide another ingredient. Highly recommend the price were reasonable.

10/11/24: Ordered the Lavender pancakes. Disappointing, as I thought the lavender would make them interesting but they just tasted like regular waffles and cold, small ones at that. They also seemed to have forgotten to serve them with the lavender butter which I didnt notice until the end so I didnt get a chance to say something. Wouldnt return.

Spendy, but honestly it was worth it. Service was helpful, quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is so cute and I love all the plants outside. Has some good inside and outside seating. Parking lot is small and a bit awkward, but its fine because the surrounding neighborhood isnt too crazy for parking.

Love coming here for their burgers from the BBQ joint next door. Their French fries are so good and are essentially steak fries but thinner so they get a little crispy around the edges and come with a bbq sauce/spicy ketchup type of sauce which is excellent. I like that this gives almost like a cafe vibe but they re open later than most and offer not only cafe drinks, but also several options of local craft beers and wines. I ve come here at night for dinner with a friend and on a weekend morning for breakfast and both energies are enjoyable. The place is tucked in amongst a residential type area so many locals walk or bike here. Overall always enjoy stopping by! Vegetarian options: Impossible burger

My girlfriend and I are disabled and wanted to dine at Basecamp recently. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found the restaurant had no parking for us because they had tables and chairs set up in designated disabled parking spots. This is unacceptable. It is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and is illegal. How anyone could think this is acceptable is beyond me. My girlfriend emailed the restaurant about the issue and never heard back. This has all been very upsetting. I will be contacting Burbank PD, Code Enforcement, and the Justice Department about this matter. Parking: This restaurant illegally blocks its designated ADA (disability) parking. This is not a safe restaurant for disabled people.

We really wanted to like this place but unfortunately after waiting over half an hour for food (when there was barely anyone there as it was very early) we were served a very sub par breakfast. I had ordered the poached eggs quinoa Benedict. The eggs were ok but the quinoa patties were cold and tasted funky. Clearly they had been prepared at least a few days prior and tasted old. The spinach was ok but also didn t taste freshly sautéed. I think they prepare the food ahead and then warm it up, and in his case they did not warm up thoroughly. The hash browns were also cold and not fresh. My boyfriend got the Jamison with a poached egg. His pancakes were the worst I ve ever tried. Cold and hard, they had clearly been prepared hours before. His poached egg was fine. Hash browns were the same as mine. Overall a very disappointing experience. I d go to Kitchen Mouse or Kindness and Mischief or even Antigua any day over this place. We will definitely not be back.

Im not sure what has changed here, but we used to really love coming to Basecamp for a weekend breakfast or brunch. Its a place we loved to bring out of town guests as well. We always looked forward to the food, the chill atmosphere and the delicious coffee. But our last few visits have been very subpar and disappointing. Weve received our eggs and bacon cold and the quality of food has definitely dipped. Maybe theyre doing too much volume and cant keep the quality up. I have noticed theyve got busier and busier. Today really was the most disappointing. It took my wife and I 45 minutes to receive our lunch. It was only a salad and a chicken wrap. Others who sat down way after us received their food before us. I used to be a server and floor manager at a restaurant- I know that something mustve happened. Especially since one of the multiple kids that work there came up and asked us what we ordered. We asked the counter a few times what was taking so long and they replied Ill check, and then proceed to keep working behind the counter and helping other guests. I would have only rated one star, but the food was tasty once we got it. I just think we probably wont be returning unfortunately. The price point isnt worth the unfortunate experience.

Not sure what changed but the healthiest breakfast option I had was okay. It was avocado toast but the biggest issue was the eggs. I had to order egg whites given some dietary changes I had to change. The egg whites were super runny and the general flavor of it was super bland. I know its avocado toast but normally when you spend between 15-20 bucks you get a decent bang for your buck. I have had great meals here but something has changed with the cooking. Vegetarian options: They had some options including avocado toast. Dietary restrictions: Dairy free is a bit tougher but they have some limited options.

Was excited to get Lavender waffles, the butter and the syrup were tasty, but the chicken pieces on top tasted like cold pieces of tofu was it? Cold brew was not that great, had a weird taste. A bit disappointed, we re we hoping that because of the high ratings this place would be our new go-to.

First time visiting this restaurant. I really wanted to like this place since the atmosphere is nice and the food presentation is good. There was a pretty long line to wait in to place the order at the counter before receiving a number to find a table to seat ourselves. The only table available wasnt wiped down, so we wiped it ourselves. Ordered two smoothies, salmon bagel, acai bowl, and a burger patty for the dog. Picked up the smoothies at the counter ourselves. The smoothies were okay. The food took half an hour to arrive. When it did arrive, I noticed the smallest amount of cream cheese- enough for half the bagel and asked for more. I then noticed the browning on the salmon. I brought it to the wait staffs attention and she offered to bring more. She brought more and said the chef said it was normal. I have never been served browning salmon before. The additional salmon was browned, too. I cut out the brown bits and ate it, since I was hungry. Stomach issues followed. The browning of the salmon is apparent in both photos. The brown in the middle.of the spiral is not a shadow.

First thing is I wonder if the qualifications for working there require that you are rude and have no customer service skills. The line was long. The food was expensive and was sub par at the least. The mocha was disgusting. Was not worth the wait or the price. The vibes were bad. Cute little place but would never recommend it to anyone.

Fun and unique experience at Basecamp. Hearing about how people used to actually ride in on their horses and eat there while their horses got fed also was really cool as it made for a rural oasis in an otherwise fairly suburban location. The food was ready quickly- I ordered online since the lineups to order in person also quickly got long. We ate outdoors and by far the star of the meal for me was the garlic parmesan fries which are not for the faint of heart or smell :) But I got them to share and they were gobbled up by the group as soon as I put them down on the table. I also ate up every bite of my cobb salad - the dressing was light but flavourful and served on the side so I could adjust my salad to dressing ratio to my preference... I will definitely return to this place!

An intimate place with a definite care for their customers vibe. Portions are twice what I can eat- so I got another meal of my leftovers. Ill be back for more!
