Lunchbox

This place forced me to pick through my meal. I had a tuna sandwich with chips. The bread used may have entered the kitchen in an okay state, but on my plate, it was burnt around the edges and across the top. It just didn't taste good at all. The chips were pretty bland, and I needed to ask for ketchup to at least eat them.

Service was very slow - not because the waitress was slow - but because she seemed to be the only one working. Sitting people, taking orders, and cleaning tables. There were two parties that left as I sat here because their order was never taken.

The wine was the only good thing about this place! (Note that the waitress was good! Just overworked, and I wouldn't consider that a positive)

Very expensive and not worth it. I wish I walked down the street to grab something before my flight instead.

Had some time at the Burbank Airport and thought I would give Lunchbox a try for lunch. I ordered a Chicken Ceasar Salad and was not disappointed. The homemade Ceasar dressing was absolutely awesome! They have a full service bar inside with a good assortment of beers on tap. Menu has something for everyone. Staff was absolutely awesome and overall I had a good dining experience.

Had a few hours to spare with the family and we all wanted some breakfast. We saw this spot and thought we would check it out instead of walking f out to the others places across the parking lot.

I had the breakfast platter, my wife had the Cobb salad and daughter a pancake. The salad presentation was amazing, and everyone enjoyed their food.

We also enjoyed a couple spicy Bloody Marys that were yummy. We will plan to eat here our next trip to Hollywood.

Ordered a salad with avocado and shrimp added and the price was quite high. I was happy with big portion but they didnt give me enough dressing and the shrimps were way too salty. I had it to go so that i could eat in the airplane so couldnt talk to the staff about it being too salty. Friendly staff though.

Food is OK for airport food. Nothing special about the taste. Poke ahi taco were ok.

Service is the pits. I was not led to a table but was given a menu and told to seat myself. 20 minutes later and no one had even come up to my table. At one point I found no staff up front or in the bar but all of them in the back in the kitchen. And they were not busy or crowded or understaffed.

Myrna was our server. She was an absolute joy and gave us great advice on what to get. She was very friendly and knew the menu. I would recommend this restaurant, we had the create your own omelette and it was fantastic.

Hay muchas cosas que no entendí sobre este restaurante y la verdad están desperdiciando el potencial que podría tener con una buena gerencia. Llegue a las 12 pm y pedí una quesadilla de pollo, algo simple facil y rápido de hacer, el lugar estaba casi vacio y logre ver a muchos empleados alrededor mio. Luego de 1 hora mi quesadilla no venia y solo se disculpaban por la demora mientras yo me empezaba a desesperar ya que mi vuelo salia en 1 hora y yo aun no pasaba el TSA. Tambien tengo que mencionar que la temperatura afuera estaba a 92 grados y el aire acondicionado de ese lugar no funcionaba por lo que sumándole a mi desesperación, hambre e inconformidad tube que soportar la calor en todo momento. Como es posible que un restaurante con tan buena ubicación pasen cosas así? Sabiendo que es California un lugar donde hace calor todo el tiempo no tengan un plan B para cuando el A/C no funcione, ventiladores, A/C portátiles o no abrir hasta solucionar el problema. Cuando alfin llego mi comida, tuve que comer lo más rápido posible mientras sudaba como puerco. La verdad, si tienen todo el tiempo del mundo y no les importa comer mientras sudan si se los recomiendo de lo contrario mejor compren algo en las tiendas xpress que almenos será rápido y no les arruinará el dia.

Showed up early for our flight trying to beat rush hour traffic. We sat in here to have breakfast. The atmosphere isn’t the best when you first walk in but once seated the two young ladies that were serving us were very attentive. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla, man was it good! The ladies kept my coffee mug full and the food was great! Not too bad value for being in an airport either. It was a little pricey as is airport food but it was a big quesadilla and I left full!

Great place to grab a bite, before and after your flight. Try the smoked brisket burrito or the fish tacos... They're so good I'm still thinking about them. Cheers!

Food was good for an airport but the price of my small cranberry cocktail was the same as my meal. I expected the drinks to be expensive but not small & expensive. I was not provided a menu with drink prices and couldn't find them online either.

Ordered a country eggs benedict with bacon. THE WORSE breakfast I have ever had. I got GI issues from it the next day and the gravy, if you can call it that, was terrible. It was supposed to be country gravy which is easy as can be to make. It came out as a runny pinkish white soup. I should have just walked but I didn't. Do not eat here if you can avoid it.

Really not worthy of one star. Please beware of the prices of their Bloody Mary cocktail - ONE regular Bloody Mary was $23.60 so you may want to ask the waitress before you order as they do not provide a menu with the prices of their drinks. It was on the light side too - tasted like V-8 juice. Toast was great though and reasonably priced. Never going back there again unless they come down to Earth with their cocktail prices.

Espresso machine wasn’t working, and regular coffee tasted bad. Ordered hash browns and they gave us country potatoes that tasted spicy. The whole breakfast burrito also tasted spicy and odd. Never taking a chance on this place again.

Dirty and tables were so wobbly a lady had her drink spill all over her and the floor. They didn't even clean it up, the lady sat above a puddle on floor

Cold potatoes and (prepackaged) guacamole accompanied my avocado toast. That should be a punishable by law in LA. Unfortunately had to eat here due to canceled flight... but I'm gonna get something delivered if I have to eat at Bob hope again.

Anyone who comes here see Eddie please this guy is the best hostess he really does a great service you won’t regret and the restaurant overall I would rate 10/10 really good food great place to eat while also waiting for your flight.

The food here is airport cost, but the taste of the he food is not good enough for the cost. This place needs a new cook. I ordered the sausage panini sandwich didn't even eat it was not appetizing at all. Ended up watching 7 minutes outside the airport to get real food

This has to be the Best "Lunchbox" meal I've ever had!. I ordered the Apple Crisp Salad. The flavors just Exploded in my mouth.. Fresh Apples , Blueberries
& Cranberry's are just part of the sensation you mouth will be happy with. The staff are Super Sweet !. Mz Norma was my server . Give her Big Tips ,She's worth it !. Thanks Lunchbox for a Great meal & Awesome service..

I visit it quite often when I work, a bit disappointed lately when I've tried to phone an order in. No answer, then it takes a while after I place the order in person. other then that, the food is good.

Food poisoning. Confirmed by doctor and the restaurant did nothing about it. I also reported to the health department so they can step up. Very disappointing.

Unique burgers, fancy fries, many selections is flavored salts. It is a foodie's burger dream come true! Try the shakes with a little extra something for the adults. Delicious and very satisfying.

First, my server was awesome and the tuna panini was really good. The place needs an update badly. The carpet is horrific, all dirty and soiled.

Needs a serious management upgrade. Staff in the kitchen yelling at each other with profanity and at a very high volume for 10+ min about why the cash drawer was off, who made the wrong burrito, which person was getting break next, etc. After waiting 15 min for my meal my waitress came back out to ask what I had ordered. It was over half an hour before my food arrived.

All the sound from the kitchen bounces right off the hard ceiling and into the dining area. The Cheddar Texas Toast Burger was actually good but the atmosphere was so aweful I left half of my meal behind because it was like eating in a HS cafeteria. (1pm 8-8-19)

Great place to kill time if you're waiting for a flight. Food was good, restaurant was comfortable. The nice thing is it's before TSA so you can wait with people who aren't flying with you if you're at the airport early. Glad to have found it

$14.95 for avocado toast. If it were good, no prob. The eggs & toast were great. The avocado was a smear from some guacamole jar & the hash browns were probably hot & not hard about 2 hours ago. Yes, it's airport food, so how much can you expect? Well, for $14.95 it should taste as good as it looks. Service is very good though.

Best option for food at Bob Hope airport. The United gates section had no food options except a convenience store and a coffee shop. Plan to eat before you arrive or arrive early and dine here. The food was surprisingly better than expected.

I had the French dip sandwich while I was there. The meat had very little flavor the bread was a bit sour and the au jus was very salty. I recommend having a meal elsewhere before coming to the airport.

Came here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The service was fast and friendly, with good food. Prices are always high at airports, but the prices here aren't terrible. I always get a kick out of reviews people leave at airports; do people honestly expect Michelin Star quality service and food at an airport? I guess so. I will eat here again if I ever fly out of Burbank again.

I flew out of Burbank on 7/10/2018. As I walked in there was a woman who was leaving and complaining about how filthy the restaurant was. I was seated at a corner booth and noticed how dirty the carpet was and a very unpleasant smell. The servers were very nice but the cleanliness is questionable. Also, prices are extremely high.

I ate here yesterday and it was by far the worst quality most over priced small portions I’ve ever had. I travel twice a month and I eat at a lot of airports but I can say for sure I would never eat here again. Wait til you get passed security at eat at the Guy’s burger joint or the pizza place. The one thing that is positive is the wait staff was extremely friendly.

Fast and friendly service. The food is better than anything you'd find once you pass through security. The coffee is delicious and served in a generously large mug.

Best breakfast! Try the hashbrowns they were so good our server was friendly everything came out fast ! I would definitely eat here again next time we r traveling.

This place is worse.. the waitress by the bento box is amazingly rude. I tried ordering food with her and she rudely goes like wait.. it's not even like she was working. I decided to go with chezz burger at least they know how to treat a customer unlike this lady.

I dunno! barman on his phone and spilling drinks coz he's too busy watching the football. What's the plastic glasses for beer all about. If I had a choice I would take it. Burbank airport is a bit more laid back than LAX but is that a good reason for a drop in service level. I don't think so. Had an awful picture to post but my conscience got to me. Let's leave it at that.
