Morrison Burbank

We did a work happy hour here and it was great! The mixed drinks were strong and not too sweet, the beer was cold and there was a good selection, and the food was delicious. The bread pudding with ice cream was my favorite! The service was great too. We loved the back patio area and the Halloween decorations and Halloween themed drinks were the cherry on top! I'd definitely come back.

Completely forgot to write a review last time I was here, but I think we are coming back tomorrow. The food was delicious and flavorful. Price wise, the food is more on the higher end, but Happy Hour drinks are a great price. We will see y'all soon!

I am a big fan of their Happy Hour menu. Kid and dog friendly in their outdoor patio in the back. They will bring your pooch a water bowl and biscuits!

This place is AWESOME! My dog and I sat on the patio and received amazing service. My dog loved the chicken and rice and I will definitely be back! Had an amazing conversation with the server and the pretzel with cheese sauce was really delicious!

Another visit...
Same excellent attention to my pup. Same complimentary water and treats. Ordered chicken and rice for him, again.
This visit was just my dog and me.
I ordered a tap blonde (x2) and happy hour Blvd Salad and Smash Burger with sweet potato fries. (Once again, I ate half the burger before I remembered to take picture...but I took them anyway!)
Finished it all off with the Butterscotch Bread Pudding. All was DELICIOUS!!!
Good, friendly service, as well.

Extremely dog friendly covered back patio. In fact, our two dogs were served, on silver trays, appropriately sized water bowl and dog biscuits, each. They even have a doggie menu. We chose chicken and rice that our pups shared.
Very tasty, freshly battered fish and chips and a margarita for me, and fried Brussels and white wine for her. Finished with salted caramel New York style Cheesecake.
They have burgers, ribs, wings, etc.
You'll find something and it will be well prepared.
As has been my bad review habit recently, I've eaten half my meal before I remember to take a picture...
Hence, no pictures this visit.
(The four stars under atmosphere was a deduction for the very minimal parking)

Very nice restaurant, good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. The portions were big. I had the turkey burger and really enjoyed it. The bread pudding was also tasty 😀

Excellent burger and open faced bowl. Had the Truffle burger which was juicy. Fries were crisp and heated up nicely the next day. The servers were friendly and nice to talk to. Parking on the street nearby.

I decided to give Morrison's a try after hearing Lynette Romero of the KTLA 5 Morning News Weekends telling viewers how much she enjoyed coming here. I was looking for a dog friendly restaurant and I was very please with their outdoor patio. My pups were treated like royalty. They were each given a silver platter with a bowl of ice water and dog biscuits. My daughter and I enjoyed a tasty brunch. I had the Morning Delight that included homemade waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon. My daughter had the Loaded Burrito, however she received a side of fruit instead of hash browns. Overall we enjoyed our meals.

Big time meh. Service was good and the automatic dog bowl on a silver tray was cute, but the drinks were weak and the food was underwhelming. Happy hour is everyday 12-6P which is nice, but I can’t imagine paying any more than we did for the food and drinks we got.

First time at this bar, I had the pleasure of meeting Charles, he was awesome! From the moment we stepped in to the very end of our meal we had a great time! We came during happy hour and tried the tequila bang and the mango margarita which was refreshing and delicious. We had the opportunity of trying their smash burger on happy hour which is a bummer because it was their last day serving this dish on happy hour. And of course we had the Mac and cheese. For extra flavor I recommend adding the Mac and cheese in your burger :) great place to swing by and enjoy great music and sports entertainment! Thanks again Charles!!!

I actually came here because it's dog friendly. My dog got the chicken and rice and I got the smash burger protein style and fries. My dog loved it that made me happy. The beef was good quality and fries well seasoned, but I wish there was more Lettuce like wrap the burger in Lettuce instead of like a bun one on the top and one on the bottom. Service was good. Very patient and kind.

1st time here, we had the BBQ ribs and the sliders. The ribs are amazing, flavorful, and meaty. We also tried the bread pudding, and omg, it was amazing. I recommend it. Next time, I'll have 2 so I don't have to share with my wife. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you Lorena.

Hamburger, turkey burgers buns are so big that once you pick it up it all falls apart!! Very messy and not enjoyable! Tastes good though.
On patio today, very loud children running around our table!! Not enjoyable and parents very irresponsible!!

I have been a regular here for about 4 years and I am never disappointed when I come here for a delicious meal and some good drinks. The staff are the most warm and friendly you'll find in this town and the food is always spot-on scrumptious. Believe me, come to the Morrison Burbank and you'll find yourself a huge fan, visiting often and becoming a regular like me.

I attended a larger party dinner on the patio. It is a little weird because the patio (which is basically where the parking lot should be), is not connected to the restaurant so you have to go to it directly. So there is that awkward moment when you go inside and realize your group is in the back. Anyway, it is a tent really with normal tables. I had the mac and cheese and it was okay but I would not get it again. I also tasted the sweet potato fries and the churros. The churros were the best part. The service was excellent and I think they stayed open later for our party and they weren't pushy or anything.

Best burgers in burbank. Their burgers are huge and so tasty. Fries are good too. I recommend the Bourbonator Burger. My son really loved the Late Breakfast Burger. They have really good desserts cheesecake, ice cream, bread pudding) too. Really good margaritas and other top shelf cocktails, great beer selection. The servers were awesome and went out of their way to make everything perfect.

Went in with girlfriends the last two weeks of September. They were already decorating for Halloween and they had some fabulously ghoulish things to see. That was great fun. There's huge outside dining behind the restaurant, over what used to be their parking lot, I imagine. The food and the service was terrific. My friends and I had a wonderful time there. We went at 1:00 on a Tuesday and there weren't many other customers. Recommend highly.

I was trying to go to the Los Feliz cafe but went into the wrong parking lot, since the parking lot was so small and such a hassle I decided to just check this place out. I went with my WW2 & LAPD veteran uncles. Off the bat. I could tell the hostess did not really want to deal with elderly just because of the tone. Or maybe it was something else. We stood to the side while they cleared a table. The table was wet. We got our drinks. Ordered the food. One uncle ordered food and myself. His sandwich. He didn’t like it. But he doesn’t like much stuff so I tried it and this time it actually wasn’t good. My burger was good though. They did not give us napkins or utensils. One blond waitress walked around filling everyone’s water besides us. Although ours were empty. We asked her later for napkins and she never brought them. Yet brought it to the people drinking beer next to us. So my uncle used the ice from his beverage to clean his hands from a messy sandwhich. Later we got more attention when it was time to pay the bill. I believe perhaps since my uncles are “elderly white guys” this is why the service was mediocre or perhaps because of their veteran hats they had on IWO JIMA and LAPD. Perhaps there was a little bit of resentment for their service. It was a younger bar environment little more “liberal” people so maybe we really should not have been there. Even leaving we said thank you to the host and they did not respond. People are free to have their views on those who have served their nation, my uncles fought for them to have that right. Yet in our case. We will not be coming back.

My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter go every Tuesday night for Taco Tuesday (and occasionally on other evenings). I live in North Carolina but it’s one of the things I love about coming out to visit them. The food is great, the wait staff are wonderful and friendly (especially to my 18-month old granddaughter), and the atmosphere is incredible for what we want.

The best part yet was the amazing staff, welcoming, attentive and quick. Also assured me My little loud mouth puppers (beagle) was fine to share his thoughts. His chicken and rice meal didn't last on the plate too long.

I have walked by this location for many years when I used to live in North Hollywood and never tried them out. I did try them out for the first time this week and it’s a cute little place. I was there for lunch but I thought that the food was good and they really have a lovely adult beverage collection.

Lukewarm experience. Came here one Monday evening, we sat down at 5:45, and happy hour ends at 6:00. Were given menus and was ready to order but our waitress never came back. Scanning the room there were maybe only 4-5 other tables in the entire place. There was 1 bartender behind the bar, a server that was not our helping someone else. By 5:59 we got up and went to the bar to put our orders in before happy hour ended. The food and drinks were got were pretty good but nothing outstanding. Overall I think this place is just OK. Had the service been better it might have changed the experience.

stopped in here saturday for some happy hour food & drink with the pup. very dog friendly patio, which was awesome! service and food were good. we'll be back!
side note: no idea if this is the norm, but there were a surprising number of kids there (like 50% of the clientele) for what i consider a bar/restaurant (which isn't a problem per se, just unexpected so i am mentioning it for ya).

The Morrison Burbank, wow!!!
We ate outside in the outside patio. TVs hung everywhere with the Dodger game on! Ordered off the happy hour menu, Regular Margarita and an Aloha Margarita along with a Smash burger and sweet potato fries. WOW!! The Margaritas were so good and strong! The burger and especially the garlic sweet potato fries were amazingly delicious! Alisha was our server and she is personable, quick and very attentive!! Thank you Alisha for making our experience at the Morrison a rememberable one! See ya soon!!

We came across this place while looking for antiques stores in Burbank and decided to pop in for lunch. We got a really great welcome from our servers and they gave excellent service. The food and drink were both great and it was reasonable value. There was a good atmosphere. If I could, I'd go back there - but we are back home in the UK now!

Service was friendly and courteous. At that time of our visit it wasn't that busy which helped in getting our food and beverages in a speedy matter. I had the lunch special - sliders with french fries which were filling and fresh. Overall it was a nice experience, I will be going back for lunch.

Outstanding bar and grill with a welcoming atmosphere. Food and drinks are top notch, the service is fantastic, and the proprietor is attentive and on top of things. The menu is varied and covers all the necessary bases. Go there, have a drink and a meal, and go home happy.

Went with my husband and nephew for lunch and to watch the world cup, Netherlands and Argentina.
We were greeted immediately and told we could choose where we wanted to sit since we were the first to arrive. Outside seating is spacious and was nicely decorated. They had 6 TV's so anywhere would be a great seat.
Zach the manager took excellent care of us. Made sure we had water, got our drinks right away and took our appetizer order. We had the nachos, which were amazing. Anyway I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Great atmosphere and very friendly.
Thank you for making this a great time for us even though our team lost 😁

Cool spot to grab a bite. The food was really good!! I got the spicy aioli chicken sandwich and let me tell you it was sooo flavorful. The only thing I didn't like was that the beer options weren't the same as they have online. When they brought the beer menu out it was so small and disappointing. Hopefully they can update it so it's not misleading.

So the food was not good today. The Blvd salad and sweet potato fries on the happy hour menu were good. Nachos dry,same with potato skins. Smash burger was all bread. The server was actually great we got a free dessert to make up for the thin small piece of meat.

I wish I lived in this neighborhood so that I could visit more often. The wait staff is so friendly and they make you feel welcomed. Since Covid they converted the parking lot to a beautiful patio...its so fun to sit out there. Other than use the restroom I've never sat inside. They gave alot of TVs so great place to watch whatever game is on...tonight it was the Dodgers. Highly recommend this cute little neighborhood gem!!!

Just ok, nothing impressive about this place. We arrived right when it opened on a weekend day. Service was ok but thought it unprofessional that owner was seated at bar chatting with friend the entire time we were there. Seems his time would have been better spent visiting customers tables and asking if all was ok or if they needed anything. Food was unmemorable, fries may have been good. We were looking forward to trying the bread pudding but was disappointing, very dry.

We got 2 classic burgers. Over cook and extremely bland - we ended up asking to take off one of the burgers and paid for the over priced, under seasoned disaster of a burger. Beers were ok but had a cleaning detergent smell to the glasses. Not to mention a Non-attentive staff, Had high hopes for this place but was absolutely terrible. If the kitchen see’s this SEASON YOUR BEEF.

What a great restaurant! An amazing bourbon selection, craft beers, and fun bartenders. Oh and did I mention the food? This is not your regular bar food! I had the Shroomer. My date had a gourmet burger. The BEST bread pudding with horchata cream cream and a bourbon sauce - sinful and delicious!

I wish I could say that my experience at Morrison Burbank was a good one, but besides the fresh outdoor dining experience and most of the staff being pleasant, it was abysmal and I won’t be back again unless I hear it’s under new management or a new chef has been hired. Where to begin… the wait staff, pleasant and friendly, but incompetent. We asked for water 3 separate times and was told “someone” would bring it. After waiting about 15 mins,we had ordered and were served our drinks, but still no water. So, I ended up walking to the host stand and asked someone in the kitchen area for some water and the person in the kitchen scowled at me. Not only was I picking up the slack bc of their incompetence, but I was treated rudely for it. No “sorry” no “thank you.” Once our food arrived, our server checked on us often, but never filled our water glasses, not once. When I asked for more napkins, (I was dabbing some of the grease from the onion rings that had been served on the wax paper it had been undoubtedly taken out of the fryer and placed on.) I was met with a “more?” from the food runner. 🤣 All the food was uninspired and tasted worse, not better than what I make for myself at home, and I’m a novice home chef. I had the salad that can be served with a meat patty. I was surprised to find the meat patty hadn’t been seasoned at all! Not a single granule of salt or pepper had been used! I’ve never left fries and especially truffle fries uneaten, but I left these. Hoping for some redemption we ordered bread pudding for dessert, but … terrible. I must admit I’m on the health conscious/calorie conscious side, so when I eat food that’s heavy in calories I want it to count, aka be delicious! None of the calories here counted. I’ve never left that much uneaten food and didn’t ask for a to-go box. It’s a very cute space, I hope they improve their food and retrain their wait staff!

Went with my boyfriend for date night of burgers & beer. Service was great. Atmosphere was like an uncomfortable dive bar meets tired greasy diner. Food was underwhelming, and overpriced. They're also stingy with portions like amount of meat in sandwich and how many french french fries they give. For $25 a plate it should be a great gd sandwich. It was not.

Big fan of the Los Feliz location and was very happy to see one open in Burbank. Love the back patio and the dog friendly vibe now that I have a pup that wants to go everywhere with me. Bonus points for the treats and menu items for my dog. Great happy hour with a wide mix of food and drinks. Fan of the smash burger, pretzels and the shockingly great turkey burger. Fries are excellent. On the non-happy hour menu, I'm a fan of the fish and chips. Great vibe with lots of screens, wonderful service and friendly dogs.

Was really excited to try this. Heard great things. But I was sadly disappointed.

Expecting high prices but with high prices, awesome food. I only got the former. The food quality was below par. I ordered the wings and the bourbon burger plus a blood orange margarita and a bunny with a chain saw beer.

The wings were frozen quality, not fresh. The sauce was very basic Frank's hot sauce. Nothing special whatsoever. Fries were good but 18 bucks? What was I paying for?

The margarita was good so by the time I got my burger, I barely noticed the burger and bun were burned. The meat was dry but the bacon jam helped with that and for it being burned.

Paid for me and a friend. 100 bucks. I don't mind the cost if the quality is good but it was definitely not 100 dollar quality.

Hard pass....

I haven't been here so I don't want to give you a bad rating BUUUUT figuring out what your happy hours are is literally impossible. I go to your website, it says to check out your social media pages. Finding your instagram made me feel like a private detective. Finally found it, and there are no happy hours posted! I guess you don't want business? Why jump through so many hoops for such a simple thing? For the love of god just tell us when happy hour is.

Very good atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and best of all dog friendly. Covered outdoor area is nice and food is excellent.

Oh my lord...Get those ribs 🍖😋 and get the FULL rack not half because even when they become left overs, that ribs will still taste Awsome!!

Can't say how anyone could make q better burger. Sweet potato fries & regular fries excellent and served HOT. I don't care for garlic on fries. I dunno if I ordered improperly or? The waiter was fine and observant, not omnipresent.

The price of 2 burgers and 2 beers is pretty hefty$70 but the waiter got $15. He was good. Real good.

One of our new favorite places to go for happy hour. Sam is wonderful, she remembered our orders even on our second visit. One thing that's hard to find at bars lately is the Cheer-type comfort of the bartenders caring enough to remember you.

Good food, if on the pricey side for what it is. Go for happy hour, which has really good deals. The beer list is limited, but has some good stuff.

Just plain awful. No words! I went with my friends. It was hyped on TV so we had to go. Four of us, we each had an assortment of food and didn't like any of it. I didn't know that was possible but surprise, it was. Potatoes were so weird, we shared the thing. Seriously I personally hated it and I eat out all the time. Not one of us liked our meals. No, I won't be going back. But the waiter we had was really nice so we over-tipped. Guilt!! And remember this is only my personal opinion and I truly wanted to love the new place.

Big fan of the new/best gastropub in burbank! I live right up the road and have been meaning to check it out ever since they open. Finally made it by on Sunday for some drinks and snacks and football.

Great cocktails, great happy hour, delicious food, great service. I thought the fenced in patio would be weird, but they really did a nice job making it feel nice and open. Overall, very impressed for a place just getting started, and highly encourage anyone to check out the hopefully new magnolia park mainstay! This will for sure be my new local go-to spot.

Update: highly recommend Morrison Smash. It's only on the HH menu, but you can get it anytime.
