I had a pleasant experience going to the supermarket on a Saturday morning around 10:30 a.m. I thought it was going to be packed but to my surprise the store was pretty empty and to my second surprise the store was super clean. I came to help my grandparents shop for groceries and the manager Saul made an exception for my grandma to pay with her card at the food court. Shouts out to the manager Saul for keeping a clean store. Nice produce and for the excellent customer service. While scanning through the produce, fruits and vegetables, they had fresh good looking produce and I can say the same for the meat department fully stocked, clean and a good variety. I definitely recommend coming to this store on a Saturday morning. I'm pretty sure, you will have a pleasant grocery shopping experience at Vallarta on Vineland avenue. I'll come again here for sure. Just keep in mind that my review is solely based on a Saturday morning experience. Thank you.

I really don't want to leave this review. Hopefully the staff can be trained to decorate again? However I ordered a cake that was supposed to look like the minecraft cake they had in stock, I was gonna put different toy toppings and filling/ cake. Just seeing the cake I could tell it was made the day of, super rushed and decorated with thick royal icing instead of buttercream, the icing was melting from the moment I took it home, had the wrong filling and everything. Super disappointed

Love their bakery , today I had an incident but it was miscommunication. When I ordered my cake yesterday I paid at the register but I didn’t not show the receipt to bakery I thought it was when we pick it up the next day. So today I went to pick up my cakes and they were never made because I didn’t show them the receipts yesterday. I was upset ofcourse because the party was happening and I expected to quickly pick it up. In the end I picked a cake closest to the one I picked and they were able to get my refund for the second cake. The store manager was polite and apologized. I think they should make it clear or put a sign to bring back receipt right away if ordering a cake from book. The cake was delicious in the end , everyone at party loved it. Their cakes are so good

Like coming to this market for the different options they offer. I especially love coming for the fresh drinks and green juices. I often get ceviche with my drinks. The markets also has products I don't see at my regular American style markets.

I think this is the best supermarket for Latinos you always fine something really good that you're not going to find nowhere else if you want to enjoy a really good carne asada but this is the place to get all what you need for the grill

First time coming to this new renovated Vallarta store. I used to love the old design especially because you would have two entrances/exit. You closed one now that you made the store bigger. It bothers me if there is an emergency you only have one exit/entrance. NOT COOL

I came with my child and every second you are making store announcements to your employees. “John meet me in the produce”
“John report to the office” “John pick up line one”’ “manager to register one”
Vallarta is a multi million dollar company but you are too cheap to buy land phones for departments to communicate with your employees than be making intercom announcements every second. It’s super annoying. Very loud and so unnecessary and unprofessional for all your customers to be hearing. If you are too cheap to buy phones then buy walkie talkies so you communicate with your employees then for all to hear. 👂

Thank you to the ladies that were sampling I got two coupons and saved some money when buying cheese and cream. I definitely won’t be back to your store to be listening to the managers be making annoying and dreadful announcements.

No complaints on grocery store itself but not a huge fan of some of the personnel they have serving customers in the carnicería. I usually go to my local mom and pop carnicería but at times I find myself needing to go to Vallarta for convenience since it’s about a block away from my workplace and the main reason I avoid it is again the employees they have serving customers in the carnicería, it’s usually the same 2 that I have unpleasant interactions with. An older man and older woman, they just aren’t friendly and it’s happened more than once when there’s occasions in which I ask for a meat to be cut a certain way and they’ll give me attitude about it or say that they’ll do it but it might not come out exactly how I am asking. The reason this frustrates me is that they are literally standing in front of a wall in which they’ve put “We’ll cut it your way”! The only time I’ve gotten really good service when I’ve made a request was with a very young man who genuinely seemed happy to help me and even came back to show me how he was cutting it to ask if I was happy with it or would like it differently, unfortunately after that occasion I haven’t seen him again. I try to stick to my local carnicería because they are always happy to cut the meats as per my request but it would just be nice if Vallarta’s would stand by what they promote in saying “we’ll cut it your way”.

The store does look nice and clean but these bathrooms are NASTY, a hazard for anyone walking in. Floors are wet, employees in and out. They should have someone checking bathrooms every hr. I wouldn't want to buy meat here if bathrooms are like this, no telling what it looks like behind the scenes

El día de hoy fui a esta tienda y la experiencia fue increíble , excelente servicio al cliente , productos muy frescos ,, compré un menudo y nos encantó muy delicioso ..
Nos encontramos al encargado de la tienda y preguntamos por un producto , muy amablemente nos llevó hasta el lugar de los productos centro americanos ..

Excelente servicio..!! estuvimos de visita en esta ciudad y llegamos de compras con mi familia a este lugar esta muy variado en articulos y comida muy fresca al principio no sabimos que elejir para comer y muy amablemente nos atendio la encargada del area de taqueria la señora Ana, con mucha paciencia y una buena actitud y fue muy acertada la eleccion gracias por su excelente servicio.

Muy mal ,me pasó la primera vez y me vuelve a pasar compré carne preparada para tacos pero muy salada no se quien se puede comer eso,en ningún momento se sentía que eran tacos de asada,sólo pura sal.

sorry to say. took my daughter for a champurrado and this is what came out of the champurrado cup. the bad part is we found it at the bottom. seems to be part of a sponge. not going to buy champurrado at vallarta anymore

Es muy vergonzoso que contraten gente que no tiene educación y no tienen ninguna clase de respeto hacia nosotros que somos los clientes!
Hoy trate de regresar una Alcancia la cual estaba quebraba me acerqué con unas de las señoritas que estaba en atención al cliente y me dirijo con ella diciéndole “ buenos días “ se lo repetí tres veces seguidas solo se me quedaba viendo y no me respondió lo único que ella dijo fue si dígame!
Después que trate de decirle que el producto estaba dañado no me dejó terminar de hablar y me mandó con una de las cajeras y aún después de dejarme con la palabra en la boca yo me di la vuelta y todavía se la da vuelta y me mira con mala actitud. Es un poco frustrante porque la educación no pelea con nadie.
Es feo que traten de remodelar su exterior de la Vallarta cuando tienen gente con poca educación y sean inexpertos con atención al cliente deberían de tratar de figurar quien está capacitado para cada puesto.

Es increíble k teniendo seis o siete personas n el departamento d carnes tarden tanto en ayudar! Hoy solo habíamos 5 personas y más de diez minutos tengo que esperar cada ves k visitó este lugar! Con estás renovaciones k le stan haciendo al lugar personalmente ya no me esta gustando! Como bien estás siendo atractivo para gente joven a la tienda y sus empleados también siento k los están poniendo muy jóvenes y x lo cual esa sensación de una tienda hispana c esta perdiendo

Great Hispanic product and fresh vegetables. They have their own brand of milk, tortilla chips and tortillas among other things you can sit down and have a homemade meal while you shop and they recently expanded the store double size

Very terrible service. I stood near the meat department, Nobody wanted to serve me, there were six salespeople walking around and everyone was talking. Wait, wait, I stood there for 15 minutes. As a result, I did not receive the goods. I worked for Instagram, so the clients did not receive the goods.

The hot food at the food court was terrible never again! Even after a 30 minute wait . I expected it to be good also especially after waiting that long. They should consider getting help on the line as there was only one cook and maybe someone who actually takes pride in cooking

It is sad to see how the store has declined over the years.
I have not been at this location for a long time, and I could not believe the amount of time it took me to get a simple order of refried beans. The line was long—about 10 people in front of me and 6 behind. Only one employee, ALEXIA, deserves a raise! She was the only one helping with receiving and dispatching the orders. Despite that, the kitchen was fully staffed.Dalila, Maria, Alejandra, just waking back and forward, chatting and ignoring everyone, and Ana (she only helped Alexis twice, only myself included).
This review upsets me, as I usually don’t like to give people out, but honestly! Aren’t the employees trained to take orders as well?You don’t need two people flipping tortillas.
@ Alexia YOU ARE AWESOME! Keep up the amazing work ethic, keeping it calm and professional. You have my respect. God bless you!

I understand it’s Christmas. But I called to see if the store was open. The cashier sarcastically answered the phone and said no we are closed. Yet they close at 6pm. It’s 4:30pm. Love the professionalism.

bought a half pound of cotija cheese LAST WEEK. i put cheese on my sopes and see MOLD EVERYWHERE. they mix old cheese with fresh cheese you can see the difference in color. SO GROSS.

DON'T COME HERE TO BUY MEAT THEY MAKE YOU WAIT SO LONG (I waited 15 minutes and had to walk away) THEY HAVE TWO PEOPLE WORKING SO SLOW. THE MANAGER OF THE MEAT SECTION WAS NOT HELPING JUST DOING OTHER THINGS. THERE WAS 8 PEOPLE WAITING. One worker was helping this lady ordering 50 pounds of meat taking 20 minutes. Hilariously over priced items. Kind of feel half the people commenting on how "cheap" it is either work here or are too dumb to know they are getting ripped off. Seriously, if you have a brain cell look up the store prices then look up oh let's say walmart or aldi, it only takes a minute. You've been warned , these prices are hiked! This is my 2nd time giving a bad review I believe they flagged my first one. BEWARE THEY ARE SHADY LIKE THAT

I love this Vallarta. This store always looks clean and nice. I order from the hot food and it is always so fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Chile relleno and the sopas. Everything here is actually delicious 😋

It's a nice store but pretty pricey.
Clearance rack in the back on the far right hand side against the side of the deli. Prices of course went up a whole lot. Still has good produce deals. The frozen stuff is way over priced what it is. I don't understand the hype over this store when there are cheaper places honestly.

They weigh the ranchera meat with the marinated juice included. Depending how much you buy, that's easily another pound added to it. At the price meat is right now. That's $14 for marinate juice. Ridiculous.

Vallarta is a large supermarket that offers a little bit of everything, and then a lot of some really awesome things.

There is a tortilleria that has every kind of tortilla that you could want or need, a cheese deli that is amazing, an enormous selection of meats and seafood (a LOT of options, cuts, marinades, etc.), a LOT of options for canned sauces, marinades, beans, etc., etc., (lots to choose from), and an amazing produce section that has every kind of pepper (dried or fresh, bulk or bundled - the bulk foods section has so much variety just in general) and many quality vegetables that you could want. And, most importantly, really great prices. I love this store.

Oh, before I forget, a tamale bar that you'll love, a hot deli (with hot, fresh meals) that you'll also love and a bakery that you'll have to drag your kids away from. It's a great store. There is a large parking lot and it is in a bustling shopping center with a Starbucks, a couple of restaurants and stores.

The prices have really gone up. While other stores have items $3-5 cheaper. For example the horizon organic gallon milk is $9.99. You can get it at other stores for $7.69. The half gallon, I saw it yesterday, for around $7 something. Other places it is $5.79. A lot of items are a lot cheaper at other stores. This store is at the corner of my house. It use to be convenient but now it's just ridiculous how they are taking advantage. Prices have gone up everywhere, but this is too much. Not the only hispanic supermarket around. The drinks they sell are watered down. The food not always that good in the taqueria.

Acabo de comprar un tamal de pollo literal es la masa y salsa! No hay un rastro de pollo! La carnicería siempre huele súper mal como si todo estuviera podrido aparte te dejan esperando 20 min mientras todos platican! Te ven parado y siguen en lo suyo! Ojalá pudieran cerrar esa Vallarta! Es la peor tienda que existe de esa compañía!! Ojalá la quiten!!! Es la peor experiencia en ese lugar!!!

Ok oy en la mañana fuy atraer carne momilida de pollo para aser unos albondigas de pollo y comimos cuatro personas tenprano cuando llege de mi trabago y luego llegaron mis hijas despues acomer y mi niña de 8 años me digo quiero mas pero ya aviamos comido y mi niña abrio su albondiga de pollo y resulto que te tenia gusanos asco no puedo crer que la tienda ballarta yo apresiava que Era la megor es un asco 🤢🤮 ogala dios quiera que no nos pase nada por que comimos eso antes de darnos cuenta delos gusanos asco🤮🤢🥺🥺🥺🙏🙏🙏

Took my Mom to Vallarta to pick up some beans and rice. Excellent food as usual. Went again on 11-9-2022, with my Mom to pick up Caldo De Rez for my Uncle's dinner, along with horchata, my Mom did buy me one but I am lactose intolerant and they hurt my stomach.

Have loads of items to easily find. Very well maintained. The cashiers are friendly and always have a smile. Same with the front-end clerks.

My husband enjoys going to Vallarta Market, unfortunately we don't have a store close by, so have to drive 15 miles to the closest. We don't get Mexican products, so for me a Vons or Ralphs in much better in a close range.
