Barney's Gourmet Hamburgers

Wide array of choices for burgers! Great service! We went at a time when there were only two other families eating, about 1 hour prior to closing but plenty of time to order and eat our food! The place was quiet enough that we could easily hear each other and conversation, seating was fairly comfortable with availability to dine inside or outside.
Our server, Logan, was super accommodating and welcoming while still being professional and deficient! Very accommodating in helping us with the menu and recommendations!
He helped us compromise between curly fries and truffle fries by using truffle oil and Parmesan on the curly fries! It was great!
The burgers were absolutely delicious! We ordered two burgers and just split them and each had half so that we can enjoy the experience of burger flavors that were new to us!
It was very refreshing to have a server who seemed genuinely engaged, and who definitely seemed to want us to have a good experience!
Parking was easy in a free open lot shared amongst other businesses.
The restroom was clean, as was the restaurant!

We recently dined at Barney's Gourmet Hamburgers in Calabasas Commons, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Leah was our server and truly one of the best we've had in a long time. In a time where tipping culture often feels excessive, Leah's exceptional service made us want to tip generously, which is exactly how it should be. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome.

The food was absolutely delicious, with every bite better than the last. Even when they forgot something, they were quick to fix it without any fuss. The entire team was incredibly attentive, ensuring all customers were happy and well taken care of. The shakes were heavenly and a perfect complement to the meal. Leah went above and beyond by boxing up our leftovers and even giving us extra sauces for later, adding a thoughtful touch to an already great meal. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and this restaurant is very lucky to have Leah and the wonderful staff working that day. Highly recommended!

Being from Texas I thought I had some of the best burgers, but Barney's takes it to the next level. Their salads are very different using fresh veggies and include great beef chix recipes. Try the BBQ CHIX salad. Nothing slopped together. Presentation is ***** star

Barney’s is fantastic. I’m a long time fan of the san vicente location and they’ve really outdone themselves with calabasas. It’s a beautiful, clean and spacious location. The absolute best part is that the quality of the food is always consistent no matter what I order on the menu. Today i had a chopped chicken salad and the salmon burger and they were BOTH perfection. On top of all that, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and attentive. i always appreciate getting their suggestions on popular items on the menu and i’ve never been disappointed. definitely a must try spot for good service and a killer burger

I LOVE this restaurant! The food and staff are fabulous! You definitely have to try their Baja Burger with a pretzel bun. I got the BBQ salad this past time and it was delicious. The general manager Paige was also there and was soo nice. Will be coming back again!

This was for pickup. $26 for one Bur…ger.
No fries no drink.
That would have been like $40.
Yes it’s good. But not for just one burger.

First time…came for lunch.
Really great menu. Lots of burger varieties and so many salad choices. Ordered bbq chicken. Was a huge portion with lots of tender delicious chicken. Great service. Super clean.

I don t normally write restaurant reviews, but if you charge customer a forced large party 20% gratuity for a family dinner less than 6 people without telling us, I ll definitely have to say something. Your waitress didn t notify us about the charge at all and if we didn t take a second look at the check, we could have tipped another 20% on top of this. Not okay for this quality of overpriced food and eating environment.

We love going to Barney s. Best fried pickles chips and their turkey burger is delicious. Brad is the BEST server EVER. Always, on top of everything and always greets with a smile and makes you feel like you re the only person there. Love this place.

I went to see Brad Kirsch play guitar and he was amazing! The staff killed it with amazing service when they became so busy with all the people watching Brad! Everyone was so nice and fun!!! Hard to find that anymore

I love the variety of options for burgers and salads. I usually switch between the grilled vegetable salad, the chopped salad, and the beach body salad. I could literally drink the lemon cilantro and house dressings on their own they re so freaking good. Oh and the Chinese chicken salad - whenever I remember to get it I wonder why I don t order it every time. And. Curly. Fries.

Disappointment and bad service I was saving on calories the whole week to indulge on burger this Sunday night but my experience with Barney s Gourmet Hamburgers was really bad. Stay away guys from this place. Me and my husband took out my parents to supposedly fancy burger place where average burger is 18$. So we ordered Chinese chicken salad, large fries (the only good that came normal) and two burgers to split. Chinese chicken salad arrived with sauce on the side. And you know that it comes with crispy chips on the top so if you mix it together chips will get soft. Nobody bothered to ask us how we want the salad. But burgers .what I got was completely DIY 20$ burger where the bun with meat and cheese was stapled together and pickle, onion, lettuce and sauce came separately on the side. So to put them in I needed to literally break the burger. I m a foodie and for me is super important to get my food right. I didn t want to spoil the mood and started to eat the way it is .so my mom who was as much disappointed. But .the waiter came and without even asking took away plate with remaining salad and my sauce. I was speechless. I was left dry piece of bun and DIY pieces. I think the owners should be really ashamed of the service and food. Oh, and our waiter didn t even bother asking if we want the basket with ketchup and mustard which other tables have. Stay away from this place guys.

The manager Steven is awful here. Im not the only one who thinks this, read the other reviews. I have come numerous times and he has been super rude. He claimed to own this restaurant (which is not true). I wont be coming back. Used to love this place until he started creating problems.

My girlfriend and I stopped in because the burgers looked so good from outside. We werent let down at all. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the Gastropub burger, it was out of this world delicious. Also the pickle chips were surprisingly above average delicious! The atmosphere is very chill and our waiter Brandon S. was super chill and helpful. He made sure everything was on point and politely checked in on us as we dined. I will definitely be returning on my next trip from NYC!

Worst place i ordered from. The patty was burned. The burger was missing the tomatoe pickles and onion. So basically half of the burger was missing. My girlfriends burger was suppose to be gluten free buns but we got normal bun. I mean you couldn t possibly mess up more on an order. Also let s be honest. It is very hard to mess up a burger. Even for people who are not working in a restaurant. I m not sure who works in the kitchen at this place but he must have smoked something at work to be that bad

Was so happy to see this new location open in Calabasas! I ve been going to Barney s for years at their Brentwood Farmers Market and West LA locations their salads are deliciously substantial and diverse, burgers are so fresh and fries are cooked to perfection :) I go specifically for their house made ranch sauce and shakes as a special treat. Nice to see them expand in this beautiful Calabasas spot- perfect for when I visit my family out here, and they are very convenient and easy for quick take out as well.

So so excited they finally opened in the Commons! The food, the staff, and the environment is excellent. Its the perfect location for stopping in for lunch if youre driving to Santa Barbara or Camarillo. Also so convenient for families in Calabasas or if you need a break from your nearby office for a quick lunch. Curly fries are addicting, burgers are juicy, and the portions are generous! Salads are also great for a healthier option. Barneys beats all the other nearby options BY FAR.

I had a fantastic Barneys burger. It was cooked to perfection. Chili cheese fries are a really big order. Definitely share them with two or three people. The chopped salad was very good. I will definitely be back and I think online ordering will be working soon.

The staff seemed nice. I had a takeout order though so not much interaction. The food was unfortunately very bad. The burger was supposed to be medium rare but it was super well done and dry. I just wish we could have a good burger place nearby but unfortunately will have to keep looking.

Just tried this place for the first time. They had great burgers, my fiancé had the grilled vegetable chicken salad and loved it too! Their house made ranch is the best ranch ever! Love the atmosphere and the portion sizes are great. First time there but we can t wait to go back and try something new!

I just tried this location for the first time and it was so good! I have been going to the Brentwood location for many years and am so happy that they opened one in the Valley closer to my house. The food is amazing and the customer service is top notch. From incredible salads to delicious burgers and chicken sandwiches, this restaurant always nails it. The employees are so kind and the food is exceptional! I will be a Barneys customer for life and this location in Calabasas will now be my frequent go to spot for lunch! Thank you for the continued amazing service and congrats on the new location!

What a fantastic addition to Calabasas! When you re looking for great quality at reasonable prices this is the place for you. Whenever I m in Brentwood I used to stop by for a burger, but this location stepped it up another notch! The interior is beautiful and the customer service is top notch. First time at this location and definitely won t be my last.
