Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

Stopped by here after dinner and the ice cream was perfection. They have cups and cones(waffle, sugar...). Cups can opt for 2 flavors for small and more with larger sizes. I had the almond butter brittle?? And peanut butter salted Carmel with chocolate bits and my daughter had a waffle cone with "the milkiest chocolate". Will definitely be back again to try more flavors

They have a variety of about 20 or so flavors they are not your usual flavors, but I am sure you will find something you like. I had coffee and butter cake flavors. Yummy!

The smell this place has is beyond amazing 😍 they have a variety of flavors that are different than most of the ice cream shops. I have had the rainbow and coffee cream flavour , if you like savory food RAINBOW is perfect and for any coffee addict COFFEE and CREAM is a must 🤩. My husband got the butter cake and the peanut butter ones he didnt like the butter cake because you had the chew it and it was agains his standards, but PEANUT BUTTER was perfect 👍🏼 Also they did the waffle cone fresh so here is another plus .

The place is clean and they follow Covid protocols. The servers are soooo nice, friendly, helpful, etc., etc., etc.

Had some really excellent ice cream! You must try this place! Comparable to Salt n' Straw.

Aboailutlet delicious ice cream. This may be my new favorite ice cream place. The staff is very friendly and let you try lots of flavors. Every ice cream flavor there I’d never tried elsewhere, and each one was better than the last. I recommend the butter something cake and the brambleberry one.

I just love this place. I hate going to the one at larchmont in los angeles because its hard to find parking . So thats why i always go to this one. Another reason why i loved coming to this one here was because you could smell the sweet buttery waffle cones that were made there… i just realized it didnt smell like that today🥺

Ice cream which was the rose water was very delicious.
I gave less score because the scoop is extremely tiny. like I feel stupid standing there looking at that tiny little scoop. Second reason why I took away another star is that the staff girl while not rude was not inviting at all. having a stone cold expression, no smile at all and keep looking outside the window while talking about flavors is not exactly asking the first time customer to come back. Ofcourse I wont. its ridiculously over priced for that minuscule sized scoop I was given.

Great place with tasty Ice Cream, large selection although they didnt have what I was looking for, the banana cream pudding scoops. I still enjoyed their Coffee and Cream and Honey Vanilla Bean Scoops, paired well with the waffle bowl

The ice cream is good but none of the workers wear gloves. Not just that but they are all constantly touching their faces and scratching noses then grabbing cones to serve ice cream. My kids really wanted ice cream otherwise I would’ve left. Does owner not want to spend on some gloves? Not hygienic at all..

They always have the best flavors and the employees are super friendly and helpful. If you don’t know what flavor to try, ask the employees. They definitely know the best ones. Also, the store is super clean which is a plus.

Update: Came back to visit this place driving down from NorCal! Still an awesome place.

Fantastically wonderful ice cream. I have eaten what is available from Jeni's in cartons at the store, but this is so much better. I wish we had one in Sacramento! I will be having ice cream here any chance I get.

The ice cream is delicious, don't get me wrong, but their prices are just ridiculous. I don't blame inflation, I just blame their rent. I feel like this place needs to move to a different location, so that they can lower their overhead, and bring prices down to where they should be.

If you're the type of person that decides, hey we're in rome, might as well just bite the bullet and pay the extra $2, then so be it.

There is plenty of free parking in the parking lot. There's also about three tables inside, and a few tables outside. You can always take your ice cream over to where the turtle pond is, and just sit on the wall there.

Lauren always goes above and beyond to ensure the guests have the best experience from the moment they walk in the door. The ice cream and home-made waffle cones are consistently the best in LA, but without people like Lauren, it would just be another place to occasionally stop by.

I don't get to Calabasas often. Went to meet some friends for lunch and visited after. Lots of flavors and employees were very courteous. Prices are decent for area.

I hate to write a bad review but this is the second time that we have had a long strand of hair in our ice-cream after eating it half through already. It’s an inconvenience to drive back for a refund and it’s gross when you’ve already ate some. This ice-cream is too expensive to have this keep happening. Tonight the girl had very long braided hair that kept swinging into the bins as she scooped. Hair should be put up...even hairnets at this point!

Name of place is a fact! We got salted peanut butter ice cream. About 5 bucks for a cup. Delicious, but did not enjoy the chocolate pieces on it, they were quite hard, regardless the flavor was good.

This is the first time we noticed this Ice Cream place here in The Commons in Calabasas. At least it's new to us. They have wide selections and they're all good, plus they have Dairy Free. I love the Dark Chocolate Truffle dairy free. So creamy yummy

I have tbh. When this place first opened, I waited in the huge line w/ my little one and I wasn't impressed. Fast fwd to last month and I've got to say we love this place! Yes it cost more, but it's Calabasas and the quality is better. Thankfully, we live in Calabasas so it isn't far from us. No samples are allowed bc of Covid, but they will do a sampler type scoop thing and they can split a scoop into 2 flavors. I've tried their 🍌, 🍍 upside down and I have to say the gooey cake blows those flavors away! We used to love Salt & Straw, but I'd have to say Jeni's is on par and Afters isn't even close.

Their icecream is unique. They have flavors that are usually different than most icecream places but that is what makes Jeni's special. Don't come here expecting to get something ordinary like cookies and cream. I recommend instead asking what's good and trying something you've never had before.

I love Jeni's ice cream. The flavors are supreme. There is a good variety of flavors to please everyone. The one downer is the cost. Sure it can cost more, it is better, but their prices are pretty steep for what you get compared to any other ice cream I've seen. I don't get it often because of this, but love it when I do. Something like $5.50 for a scoop or 2 half scoops of different flavors. A pint is $12.

Jeni's always a favorite (9 distinct pints in the freezer) but still had to make an outing to try some of the new flavors. Love this location. Ridiculously posh surroundings courtesy of Calabasas. Step up from the old digs in the Short North. Got the trio of Atlantic Beach Pie, Watermelon Taffy, and Orange Blossom Chiffon. Highly recommend all three and this location!

First off, I'm impressed with the Covid safety measures that they put in place. The workers are very careful not to touch/contaminate your icecream. They wear hair nets, gloves, and masks throughout the whole process - completely contactless. The only downside is that you can no longer sample flavors.

As for the ice cream, they have a lot of interesting flavors to choose from. You can get either a large scoop or two or three halves of different flavors if you want to mix and match. If you like ice cream cones, you can choose between either cake or sugar cone. I had the sugar cone which was really good.

Overall, I had a very positive experience, and will likely be back soon.

I've had the same favorite ice cream at another ice cream store, for my entire ice cream eating years of life. But I have a couple new favorites from Jeni's. Thank goodness it's not super close to my home, or I'd weigh a 1000 lbs!

The ice cream is creamy and delicious. There are a large variety of flavors, including some unusual ones. The ice cream cones are the absolute best I've ever had. There is a nice seating area outside to sit and enjoy your ice cream.
