FurnSaj is REALLY good - I have been to many different Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern restaurants and this place is one of my favorites. It is more expensive than some other similar places, but I think that’s due to the location - considering it’s right next to Erewhon and right near Calabasas, it’s bound to be pricier. But the great thing about it is the food is of really good quality! They literally don’t miss…no matter what type of meat you get, everything is consistently good. The seasonings are perfect!! It is so flavorful!!

Everything comes out super fast and the portions are MASSIVE! In reality, you can order one plate and split it between two people for lunch (which would make the price much more reasonable) - I would highly recommend doing half and half plate of the lamb gyro and the soujouk meat. Get a side of the hummus, warm pita bread and some fattoush salad, and you have yourself an awesome meal!

I have yet to try the other things on their menu like the pizzas, flatbreads and smoothies, but based off other reviews, it seems like these items would be great options as well. As I said, it’s hard to go wrong with your order here! If you’re in the mood for Mediterranean or Middle-Eastern food in this area, look no further than FurnSaj! 😁

raw, spoiled, rotten food. the customer service was terrible. they refused to refund us and said they have a serious no refund policy (which isn't written anywhere). they offered to remake my food but i refused because my friends beef was spoiled which only told me that they aren't using fresh ingredients. Definitely expired food. i took one bite of my food and tasted raw dough that had hint of bitterness that was just a sign that if i continued, i would get food poisoning. everything was dirty inside (like the lemonade dispenser). my soda also had weird black stuff in it. paid $20 for bad food and horrible service. not the right place to get mediterranean food.

One of the best Mediterranean Rest % Bakery. Panna Maraviloosa is the best dessert one can ever have. Beirut Avacado Shake is also good. Their French fries has a flavourful seasoning which makes them more yummier. Astha is my new love ❤️ 4.9/5.

We were surprised to discover some new Lebanese dishes. They offer plenty of vegan choices which is wonderful. Portions are huge so don’t order too much. I am just sad I didn’t taste the dessert. Their jallabb drink is so delicious.

I was in the area & I googled this place, from the photos the food looks delicious, but after I ordered over $65 of food, some were good & some were bad, the Lahem biajine has rotten tomatoes smell in it & taste wasn't good so I returned it & I got cheese instead ( with bad look from the bakery man to me) the crest or the flatbread still has raw dough taste on the fatayer bi seli2. Well I'm glad I'm 2 hours away from this bakery.

This is the best gyro I’ve had all year. I had the lamb gyro as recommended to me at the front by the kind lady with the heart eyeglasses. I got exceptional customer service from her. She was very friendly and made my day. I’m glad I ordered it just as they have it on the menu because the pickle tzatziki lamb combination they made is delicious.

This place is a hidden gem and I'm sad that it took me so long to find it! Delish! So stoked about all the amazing vegan options. And the staff were top notch! My Lebanese friend from Toronto was visiting and she was highly impressed after my other Lebanese friend who lives here recommended this spot. I will be back for sure and it was honestly to die for!

Incredible food. The textures and flavors are amazing. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The menu inside had the classic terribly washed out photos of the food you might find in this kind of restaurant, but just ignore them. The food that came out was perfect.

The food is mediocre at best. Overall, the food has flavor, but no complexity so it's boring and bland by the end of the meal. The baba ganoush had an inedible amount of garlic in it. Even my girlfriend who loves garlic couldn't eat it. The portions however were huge, so there's that.

The worst food I've
ever had from takeout . The cheese on the pizza is not melted , The wrap is as hard as
a rock. And when you do, you finally get through the bread. The meat is horrible tasting and so chewy. All the reviews for
this place have to be fake . This food is not edible . Im not sure how this place is surviving, but don't waste your money on
this place . There are other options go there , not here !! This was horrible

First time took my family there and boy I am so happy we find this hidden gem. Freshly made bread is making a world of difference on their shawarma. We tried few different dishes and we didn’t get disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff. Will be back

How lucky we are to have an Authentic Lebanese bakery so close to us. But don't let the baked goods overshadow the other food. Excellent shawarma and typical Lebanese side dishes. Everything tastes great and the prices are right.

I love their food, I used to go to Granada hills location, it's always busy. Agoura hills location is a very nice environment for dine in but service was awful. Food got ready 30 minutes late from pickup time for an online order. We decided to dine in. Half food was served and half was another 20 minutes late. Although I like the serving sizes and quality of food.

The food from here is amazing, so flavourful and well prepared. I love the falafel, chicken and beef shawarma, and the zatar and cheese Mana'Ish. The lamb gyro wrap was also delicious. The hummus is some of the best I've had locally, so smooth.

This place is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! It is definitely a close knit group that runs the restaurant and they care for all of their customers. Their lamb gyro, boats, and fattoush are great on their own but their Kibbeh are some of the best I’ve ever had (Pro tip: bite off the tip and squeeze lemon inside to cool it off). The store was understaffed and Service was bad. The shawarma was at least 2-3 days old we ended up throwing the food away. The Kenbeh was also old and refried several times it tasted bad. We will never go there again.

Amaaaaaazing.

I was driving to Malibu, when I saw a huge sign that said something like "vegetarian and vegan options available". That's exactly what I need!

Then, I saw the word "Mediterranean", and was sold. My favorite. Made a u-turn SO fast!

I got the falafel wrap (with no tomatoes), and it's perfect in wvery way.

Perfectly flavor, temp, texture...everything.

YUM!!!!

And, I love that they have so many vegan items! I've been vegetarian for about 25 years, and have always found PLENTY to eat at Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants, but...I've been really making an effort to eat more vegan food the past few years, and it's so nice when there are options.

I'll definitely be back.

I love to come to FurnSaj because Charlie treats everyone with the up most respect and makes you feel like family every time you come in. Great place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and I always order extra for the following day. Prices are great and staff is very friendly.

I dont recommend ordering after 7 because it feels like theyre already cleaning up the kitchen and getting ready to close. My order of lamb gyro tasted okay and everything was hot, but most of the meat was the tiny little pieces I assumed got left at the end and the whole bottom half of the gyro portion was padded with extra rice to make it look like a larger serving. When I called to place the order she said it would be ready in 20 minutes, but i live close and got there in 10 and it was already bagged up and waiting, meaning if i had waited longer like they said, my food would just be chilling there longer. Im still going to eat everything because it does taste good but I felt the need to share my experience

I ordered chicken pizza,beef shawarma and falafel plate. Overall the beef has funky taste not pleasant to eat it, the pizza was made already what he did just reheat it only in addition to falafel more flour than garbanzo therefore I will not recommend it to anyone.

By far the best baba ghanoush I’ve ever had. The chicken shawarma was amazing , the tabbouleh was also good just the right amount of lemon . The garlic sauce or what we call Toum was perfect , I put that on everything . The bread is the best I’ve had and smells so good . My son is a chef and says this is 5 stars ! It’s super casual and super yummy and I’ll go back and try more. I highly recommend eating here !

Typically if you get food poisoning from a spot, it means it’s a one star… but they were super friendly… and nice folks… the zatar flatbread was tasty albeit a little simple… and the rice pudding was good not great, a little wet for my taste. And the beef shawarma was probably the one that did it

Furnsaj has multiple locations. Granada Hills, Glendora, San Diego and here in Calabasas. Access to location and parking is seamless. Menu is full of tasty home made, baked items. Mediterranean/Middle Eastern/ Lebanese ambiance and cuisine is well noticed all around. I tried the item 19 (egg/cheese spread) and added some chicken shawarma on it, with side order coffee. It was great. PS: You should try authentic juices! See Rose & date water! Strongly recommending!

Deliscious bakery with they’re homemade breads filled with spinach or cheese or whatever you like! Great kibbeh appetizers! and chicken schwarma or gyros! Nice place ticked away in corner next to sushi Nishi! They make fresh breads in 5 minutes in their wood fired oven! Love it!

I catered on Christmas Eve and all my guests loved the food, I was beyond impressed they went above and beyond in providing excellent food. Because of the cold weather each and every showerma roll was wrapped in foil to keep it warm and had doubled the salad when they found out more people were coming… amazing, just amazing.. you have to not only try the food but catering from them is a must .. best place to eat.. Really nice area with a clean layout and good food. Probably much busier when Pepperdine is fully open.

So happy to experience FurnSaj in Calabasas. There are so many vegetarian and vegan options. They really take tremendous pride in their food and it shows. Amazing portions, flavor and friendly service. I'll be back again soon to try out some of the other dishes. There are so many to choose from. Wishing them all the success they deserve.

Furnsaj is the best Lebanese restaurant! This is a mostly vegetarian Cocktail mix Mana'ish (Lebanese flatbread pizza) made with a variety of toppings including olive mix, Impossible Lahme b'ajine, cheese, soujouk, spicy tomatoes, and so much flavor! To enjoy the sweetness of life, try this Ashta, a traditional Lebanese dessert topped with a generous portion of strawberries, bananas, almonds, pistachios, & drizzled with honey! Jallib is a drink made of dates & rose water.🌹Everything is so delicious 😋 I felt like I was in heaven with all the good people, music in Arabic, and fresh, delicious food.

Awesome fresh, flavorful food. There are lots of options, including vegan ones. The restaurant is clean with indoor and outdoor seating, and everyone is friendly. I’m thrilled to have this Lebanese-Middle Eastern restaurant in our area!
