Exceptional Dining Experience!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Mulholland and it was truly outstanding. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable meal.
The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff was genuinely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
The food was a masterpiece. Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the [specific dish], which was an absolute standout.
The attention to detail, both in the food and overall experience, was remarkable. It’s clear that [Restaurant Name] takes pride in delivering excellence. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

Our dinner at The Mulholland was a truly memorable experience, thanks to the beautiful setting, attentive service, and delicious food. The chicken and sea bass were the highlights, cooked to perfection with delicate, balanced flavors. The scallops and appetizers were also excellent, offering comforting and satisfying tastes. The staff was friendly and professional, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The combination of great food, elegant atmosphere, and top-notch service made it well worth it, perfect for a special night out.
Chris and his team do an incredible job! We will surely be back.

Nice place. A bit loud tho- Hard to have a conversation. Visited early Saturday night. Super clean. Excellent servers. My fish was ok. It comes on a bed of greens but they had thick, bitter stems. This could be improved. Wine was good. Parking was difficult. Chocolate cake was good. Dropped $200 there just for me and my husband- each had one cocktail and the asparagus appetizer before our meal.

Calabasas is not known for its selection of quality places to eat. The locals seem under the impression that local "Italian" restaurant Tosca Nova is the height of sophistication. Or, worse, Marmalade Cafe. But now they have The Mulholland to set them straight. Thankfully.
Beautifully positioned in the middle of Calabasas Old Town, and beautifully appointed with a combination of contemporary styling incorporating elements of the original fittings - the hanging light fittings adorning the front meshing nicely with the surrounding Victorian style street lamps are a beautiful touch - the whole aesthetic only adds to the incredible atmosphere.
Admittedly, our 8pm Friday reservation dropped us smack bang in prime time, with customers crowding the cosy bar area at the front of restaurant, and while the concertina doors were closed on a cool March evening we were immediately looking forward to warm summer evenings and sitting on the forward deck looking out over the Leonis Adobe museum grounds over the road
The food! Just fantastic. We like our food and travel extensively with "places to eat" topping our "things to do" and I would have been happy with the fare served in any of the countries we'd visited. A little pricey - what isn't these days - but the quality is excellent and generous where it counts....the crab salad appetizer particularly good in both areas. And the scallop crudo, while small packed substantial punch with smokey undertones and a beautiful crispy buckwheat crunch (amazing combination, compliments to the chef).
Service was prompt and attentitive. Friendly without being intrusive, and - unlike so many American restaurants - we never felt rushed.
Special shout out to the super innovative cocktail menu. Sophisticted combinations of unusual ingredients, and wonderfully generous portions (so fed up with $20 drinks gone after two sips).
Five stars. Definitely going again.

Starting with the amazing, calming atmosphere and decor created by top construction companies in LA, the staff , the wonderful chef who is a world-renowned chef, Chris Flint. He was a chef at the 3 Michelin Stars restaurant in New York. Top it all with a happy pallet after eating their wow food. Thank you so much for being here.

Very nice people service was excellent are bartender Eric was really good. I had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon my wife had a beer and we had a bread loaf, with cheese and onions that was delicious. It's a little bit pricey and they do add on 4% for the kitchen. Something I just totally disagree with. I think that the owners of The Establishment should either raise their prices or just pay their kitchen help a little bit more. All in all we had a very nice time I liked it very much and will probably be back.

We recently moved to the area and tried The Mulholland this weekend. We loved it. The wine selection is fun, different and top quality. The food is exceptional particularly the pasta dishes and the crab salad. Our waiter made the night truly an experience and was so welcoming and accommodating. I have every intention of coming back soon. Highly recommend.

Manager didn't seem thrilled that we wanted a 4 top so we could sit side by side, even though the restaurant was more than 1/2 empty. But other than that, our server was great and the atmosphere was fun..
Menu was creative and super tasty! Grilled peaches were a seasonal favorite. Well designed exterior spaces. Will definitely sit outside next time...

Spectacular addition to Calabasas where the dining options just advanced many notches with the opening of Mulholland. We were lucky enough to visite on an evening when Cynthia the owner was subbing for a hostess and her and her familys passion and dedication to excellent food and dining shine bright. The wine selection is great and features many wines by the glass from their own vineyard near Solvang so more options than usual. Our server Brandon was very helpful in guiding us through the menu. The Focaccia with pizza butter is a wonderful twist on an old standard. The attention to detail in the kitchen is impressive and even the baby gem salad is innovative and well displayed. We dont usually order chicken for an entree but the Petaluma Chicken was outstanding. So moist and succulent and an interesting blend of white and dark with delicious potatoes on the side. The Ora King Salmon was also cooked to perfection not over or underdone and a nice generous portion. We didnt have time to stay for desert and will definitely return to try them. And the ambience is fantastic. We opted to sit outside on a chilly December evening but were warmed by the large fireplace and well placed heaters which all added up to the perfect evening.

Service was slow. Someone who ordered a drink from the bar received their drink almost 15 mins before the rest of the table received ice teas. Took quite awhile just to get water and place orders. The food was fine nothing too extraordinary- small portions for high prices. The pasta is very Al dente- just to note especially if you want to get the kid s pasta. It s a cute place but needs to adjust a few things or it may not survive in that area.

A gem of a dining destination with an elevated but accessible menu dreamed up by a former Eleven Madison Park chef. Patio seating is a must, and the highly addictive coyote fries, cauliflower agnolotti and tempura mushrooms are all a can t-miss as is the entire wine list. One more reason for out-of-towners to head to Calabasas.

Went on a quiet Tuesday night. Host was very friendly and welcoming. 2 servers for the entire restaurant so started a little slow at first. Once order was taken, food came fast and it was absolutely delicious. Scallops were cooked to perfection, hamachi crudo was great so was the focaccia bread with cheese fondue. Crab salad was a little too salty so was the mushroom confis served with the chicken. But overall food is high level and very well executed. Presentation was also high level. Worth the price. And beautiful place in old town Calabasas.

This place is like an oasis in the middle of a dry desert of delicious food in Calabasas. We went for our first time on Sunday night and I was so glad to be with friends that are down for family style eating, we got to try so many of the dishes and none of them disappointed. My top favorites were the tempura mushrooms, Scallop Crudo, cauliflower agnolotti, and the burger - but seriously the chicken and curried scallops were SO good too. But DO NOT MISS the focaccia with pizza butter to start! Great wine, gorgeous patio with fireplace.....just the coziest and special neighborhood spot. The staff told us they are opening brunch soon and I cant wait to come back for it. Parking: theres a park and ride parking just across the street and down one block

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, outdoor accommodations (despite it being freezing outside - they managed to make it really cozy and warm - loved the fireplace!), service is wonderful and food was absolutely delicious! We ll be back for more. The only reason I m not able to provide 5 stars (and, not the restaurants fault) is because there were two tables within the vicinity of our small area where they were coughing nonstop for over an hour straight. I felt really bad for them, however, it also kind of hindered our experience. Basic manners in respect of others around you, is to step out to the bathroom or leave if you feel so sick that you can t contain yourself. I started to feel uneasy, so my friend and I skipped desert and left. Besides from that bout of incidents though, we had a lovely time.

My overall experience was great : great wines good service, nice ambiance. But let me explain why I substracted 1 star. First of all I m French from Paris and I can find amazing wine at the grocery store in my hometown for 6 bucks but here my friend wanted to get wine which I usually don t outside of France and we got a $50-60 bottle of rosé from CA. Crazy expensive BUT I have to say it was quite tasty so, cutos to the owner cause apparently that s from his vineyard. Besides that, I know that in the US service is very very important and that s why ppl tip but we ordered a bottle of wine and some bread. In my opinion it was unnecessary to ask us 9 times how we were doing - it made me and my Californian friend a tad uncomfortable- and felt like I had to tip 20-25% but fine. Last thing : the restaurant is VERY loud so I could barely hear my friend speak, had to get closer to him every 20 seconds huh? What did u say? Other than that, the place just opened and is GREAT. Must try in Calabasas

Service and atmosphere was great. Id suggest dining early before the crowds if youre looking to have a conversation because once it hits 7pm.... youre screaming and asking what did you say? OR dine outside, because its still lovely and they have heaters. I had the Focaccias Pizza Butter,, and it was DEVINE. I took home the rest of the spread I didnt eat. The chicken had an adobo taste, which I loved. The burger was okay, (Stand burgers are better) and the filet mignon was a bit too gamey for my liking. The presentation was delightful and well presented. Would I go back? Yes, so I can get the salmon and the scallops.

This place was surprisingly good :-) Our server was awesome and she did a great job. I highly recommend the oysters theyre unique and absolutely wonderful. I had the strip line steak for dinner and it was really good. Portions are a little small but theyre definitely a quality over quantity type of situation! Sorry for my horrible picture. That was some sort of cauliflower pasta dish and it was really great. I thought I had another picture but apparently not!

Overpriced. Theyll get the message I hope. The bread costs 10 dollars and its good, but maybe for 5 if they have to charge. And the sauce for it comes on the side for 4 dollars. I just dont see that as fair, considering the appetizer and entree portions are small. Theyre really good, but small and I just dont think thats a Calabasas thing, maybe in BH you can get away with it. So keep the quality but make it an option because all the places are the Commons offer worthwhile experiences and not so pricey for what you get. Despite that critique, high marks for the atmosphere, quality and service.

Beautiful remodel and really lovely, attentive servers but the food was very meh and overpriced. I d come back for a cocktail or glass of wine at the bar (their wine list is killer) but probably wouldn t bother eating here again, despite the super convenient location 5 mins from my house & really wanting to love this place. Meh.

Dropped in for cocktails and a few apps last night. So Ill let others speak to their full dinner menu. Their specialty cocktails are as delicious as they are unique- its clear Chad and Eric know their way around a shaker, their service was attentive and their recommendations were spot on. I had the Hold Your Horses which was rather admittedly a safe choice but the ingredients were perfectly balanced and in sync, a lovely cocktail. My spouse had the Good Times which was delicious and perfectly balanced, its goat cheese wash stood out on the menu but in practice it succeeds in lending a subtle complexity to the cocktail, tying the drink together without stepping in to the forefront. For apps we ordered the Hamachi Crudo- which was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh and flavorful and would order again in a heart beat. I wish I didnt have to share. Its a nice size if youre getting several different items to try- though it would be a good size for one person. We also ordered the Focaccia with the cheese fondue and red wine onion jam. Which was warm perfection. The space is lovely and has a warm modern and inviting vibe, though I could imagine when it fills up it could potentially be quite loud. Cant wait to return for a proper dinner to sample more of their menu offerings.

THANK GOODNESS FOR THE MULHOLLAND Finally, Calabasas gets a restaurant worth going to. Weve had to settle for mediocre food at absolutely ridiculous prices forever in this area (or just terrible food at cheap prices too) and Im so relieved to have a spot thats doing neither of those scenarios! Came for dinner during their opening week and was so so impressed with everything! The food was absolutely delicious. Its over the hill food, could and SHOULD easily compete with anything in the city. Their wine list is amazing; definitely some cool, off the beaten path stuff on there, which we appreciated (orange wine, hello)! Cocktails were interesting and not heavy handed at all, very delicate and balanced, not too boozy or juice-y. The space is also quite beautiful. What a renovation from what looked like an empty building before! The patio outside is super cute, cant wait to come back and hang there by the fireplace. Service was attentive and thoughtful without being intrusive, and, though it of course shouldnt be this way but it is these days, no one working here seemed like they were hating their lives. Its a little thing that goes a long way toward the guest experience and shows that everyone behind this place believes in what theyre doing here. Will be back happily and often!
