Ive eaten at all three locations and they're all great. Great staff, amazing food, great service. Special kudos for all the gluten free options.

If you want 4% more than change your prices on the menu. Don't use false information in the hopes they people won't notice it, just show the price they are going to pay and don't put us in the inevitable position of just taking it off the tip, which is just what I'm going to do, along with a note on the check telling them to get the 4% from management.

Hard thing to write because I LOVE the place so much!!

Of course they have great drinks to choose from. Great new vibe & ambiance at this new location. Last place felt cramped but this new location has a lot more space to comfortably sit a lot more people. Their back room can easily fit a VERY large private party of 20.

Their SERVICE is top notch too. Definitely coming back many more times.

I love this place so, so much. It is one of my favorite restaurants ever. The Six Chow House Calabasas is easily one of the best restaurants in the entirety of LA, and that’s saying a lot considering how big this city is. After visiting for several years, what can I say are the best items on the menu?

Most frequently, this is what we order: Braised Short Rib Tacos, Chicken ‘n Waffles, Heirloom Tomato Flatbread, Pork Belly Tacos, Royale Flatbread, Smoke Burger, Soppressata Flatbread, and several different mocktails. The tacos are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Both the Braised Short Rib Tacos and Pork Belly Tacos are must-haves on your first visit. Easily some of the best tacos we’ve ever had. The flatbreads are incredible - if you’re looking for a bit of a healthier option, the Heirloom Tomato really is the freshest and highest-quality flatbread I’ve ever tasted. The Royale is another great option that blends sweet and savory perfectly. Chicken ‘n Waffles have a great blend of spicy hot sauce and sweet maple syrup and they are SO good, the Smoke Burger has such a unique flavor with the smokey-ness and date jam and is a MUST-HAVE for hamburger-lovers, and everything else I’ve mentioned are all equally as good as the items I’ve mentioned before.

You really can’t go wrong at The Six, at least with any of the items I’ve mentioned. We haven’t tried every single item on the menu so I’m sure some things might not be as good as others, but I’m just so pleased every single time I come to The Six, it’s just a wonderful addition to Calabasas.

If you haven’t tried this place yet, you need to! Prepare your taste buds and enjoy some high-quality gastropub food that’s absolutely wonderful!!

We stopped here knowing nothing about places to eat in Calabasas. What a score! Awesome bartender named Ricardo was so attentive. He recommended the short rib tacos or the pork belly tacos. Not a bad option on the menu, actually!! We had the Mac and cheese fritters with three dipping sauces, mildly spicy and delicious. Then a turkey burger with smoked bacon, guacamole, smoked Gouda, chipotle mayo… all mildly spiced and not competing with each other for a wonderfully delicious profile of flavors. Finally, I was surprised by an amazing g house made dessert- banana pudding on a chocolate cookie crust, so good.

Came in for a quick dinner at 730pm. Got food an hour later...cold soggy pizza that tasted like old school chef boy r dee and a greasy burger with old burnt three times cooked fries. Waitress could have told us that we were out of luck tonight and we could have grabbed food at Jack in the Box instead. Not impressed. Waitress said she was sorry and we knew why.

I brought my mom here for lunch and it was definitely an amazing experience we wont forget. The food was delicious!!! We ordered the crispy sprouts, mushroom truffle pizza, buffalo cauliflower and mango quinoa salas. The staff were extremely kind and happy! This place absolutely smashes cocktails and steak! I ordered the prime and my dining partner ordered the steak and salad, and they were tender and perfectly done. Servers were attentive and ambiance was great. Will definitely come again.

The food overall was exquisite. However, I love Octopus and I order it every where it is made available. Here it was way overcooked & for an octopus dish I only received 1 strip. Everything else was outstandingly delicious. We ordered brussel sprouts & their burger. They offer a mobile pizza for events and a private party room which we will definitely take advantage of. Our waiter (Mike) gave us great service! Even let us sample a drink we were curious about. We are 3 min away so we will definitely be back for the pizza & frituras.

Great buffalo cauliflower its the reason we go. Everytime. Good bar selection. Good pizzas too. Burgers not disappoint. Location is in a strip mall so theres that. Place is nice with ample room for small private parties. Churros are freshly made.

Bartender was asleep. Food served wrong. It was happy hour on an early Friday night and yet it took 15 mins for us to get our first glass. Not a huge industrial place to justify the lag in service. Food was good but service at bar is slow. Not going to be repeat customers

The bill came added with extra percentage to pay for increased wages and cost of doing business Any restaurant that adds fees to their bills needs to be shut down. We should not tolerate this behavior and let the restaurants get away with it. Or pretty soon we will be ordering a $20 burger and ending up paying a $50 check. Put the cost of your business in your product. This should be illegal.

The customer service was pretty good, yes we were the only ones at that time. However there food wasnt on the same page . I went with a party of 5 and 3 of us ,had the same opinion so I hope it we ever do return it can be different.

I had a brunch event in the private room at The Six and it was really fantastic. There was SO much food and it was delicious. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I highly highly recommend to anyone for private events!!

Wow! Food and service was outstanding. Ordered off happy hour for red wine, short rib tacos, and brussel sprouts...so yummy! Next ordered the Garlic Noodle dish with sliced short ribs, veggies and noodles...amazing flavor and satisfying.. The service was personable and friendly. Rafa was our server and went over the top to make sure we enjoyed everything, including bring us out an amazing piece of banana cream pie. Our entire meal and service experience was top notch. We will be back!

Needed to edit my previous review. Their service has improved immensely, and beyond that the food is great. Major props to the bartender, he s extremely courteous, quick and professional. The rest of the staff is friendly as well. Going to chalk up my initial review to opening jitters. This is a great place to stop by for dinner so please patronize them! We don t need to lose another restaurant in the area. previous review: My wife, mother, and I stopped by for dinner on a Friday night. The hostess sat us down quickly and grabbed us water, and then things went downhill. We waited for twenty minutes without any help, I then had to get up and complain. Finally one of the bartenders (possibly the manager) ended up serving us. Long story short the service was terrible, the food was good, and the drinks were okay. I chalked it up to them being recently open. Fast forward to tonight, came in with my wife thinking maybe the service would be better. WRONG. Went inside, stood by the hostess table for five minutes and not one person greeted us or offered help. Not even a welcome, someone will be with you shortly from a bartender. When you enter a restaurant you expect to be welcomed, even if you need to wait. Communication is everything -- which this place lacks entirely. I REALLY liked The Six while it was in Old Town. Great cocktails & excellent pizza -- winning combo! I was so excited that they moved closer to us. Im hoping they get their act together -- otherwise this will end up like every other restaurant at this specific location and close within two years.

The worst chicken and waffles I have ever tried. The chicken had to be frozen because the batter didn t stick to it and was super rubbery with zero taste. The bartender was more worried about doing roll ups rather than asking how my meal was even though he was standing right in front of me. He did a great job running my credit card but could literally care less.

One of the best restaurants you can find in and around LA. Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Attention is paid to the presentation of the dishes that also taste great. It is located next to the highway, which is perfect if you are passing through or staying overnight in a hotel nearby.

There isn t one bad thing about this place. Right from the entrance the staff was very helpful and polite. The menu is small but there isn t a single bad thing on it. We have been here multiple time and haven t tasted anything we didn t like. The whole restaurant gives you a very nice modern feel but the food is out of this world. Wow, I came in expecting a decent meal to go. What I got was the best braised short rib dish of my life. I absolutely love it. Fall apart short ribs with perfectly crispy onion straws on top. The way the miso mashed potatoes mingle with the red wine reduction is amazing and the spicy baby bok Choy just rounds everything out with a zing. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

If youre a fan of The Six Chow House in Old Town Calabasas, youll be pleased to know that the food and drinks at the new location are just as delicious. The menu has stayed true to what made the old location so popular, and youll find all your favorite dishes and cocktails here. However, one thing that may disappoint some visitors is that the new location seems smaller and lacks the same visual appeal and charm of the old location. The interior decor is different and may not have the same cozy ambiance that many loved about the previous location. That being said, its still a nice spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. We went during the soft opening and I thought it was great! We can walk from our house which makes it even better! There s a variety of menu items to choose from, good wine and cocktail selection and the food and service was excellent. We ll be back soon!

Came here with my girlfriend for happy hour. The interior is really nice, and the bartenders were friendly. We had a unique pizza with pear and a balsamic glaze which worked and was quite good, but the short rib tacos were simply to die for! They have a great liquor selection, but the taps are limited. The only negative (not enough to drop to 4-stars) is that they had no lagers on tap. They had a nice blonde ale which hit the spot, though. We will be back.

They had 4.5 stars with 2000 reviews I don t know why anyone likes it. -Had probably the worst chicken ever had It was super tough. -Coffe was watery, maybe instant. They only had that option for coffee. -Gave us tap water no ice. -had salmon Benedict, the salmon was thin yet tough. -Eggs were not cooked the same. -Came with a salad with a weird tasting dressing, and there was a ton of it. -It amounted to 44 dollars total rip-off

This is a fantastic little spot, true hidden gem. Every bit of food I tried was fantastic. The pizza and burger are excellent. They have a really nice bar. Im sure happy hour here is fantastic. Weve picked up multiple orders to go and I look forward to dining in their beautiful new location.

To start, the table was sticky. Our server very graciously cleaned it for us while explaining that the tables are always sticky if it gets hot or cold. I really felt for her, she must have to clean the table 20 times a day. The food was another disappointment. I ordered the garlic noodles and the short ribs were clearly not short ribs. And there was cheese on top. The garlic noodles are Asian style so theres no way cheese is appropriate. Two stars are for the service only, we will not be going back.

Food and beer were good. Service was slow and unresponsive to requests. Restaurant was half full on a Friday night, but waited to long for refills and requests after food was delivered to the table. Note they add 4% service fee, so take that into consideration when tipping.

The food here was great and the servers we had were very friendly and attentive. I would have definitely come back if not for one thing on the receipt. On the receipt there was a charge that was to offset high wage increases in California (not verbatim, but thats basically what it said). I think that is so unprofessional to put on a receipt. Its your job as a business owner to compensate your employees with a fair wage, and you shouldnt complain about that to your customers on their receipt. It is literally the cost of doing business. If the minimum wage goes up and you have to raise the prices on food thats fine and normal, just do that. Your servers are probably getting shorted on tips now because people see this extra charge and decide to tip less because they have to pay for the special wage increase charge. It just came off as so rude and entitled, basically saying you think its unfair you have to pay a fair price for labour. Ill be going to restaurants that have more respect for their employees.

I ve been here several times and the food is truly awful. I ve tried the burgers, the tacos, Mac n cheese, you name it. Undercooked, under seasoned, bland. I ve warned friends not to go here but they dont listen. One called me and said it was one of the worst meals he s ever had. Anyway, the staff is super nice and the customer service is great, the vibe inside is very chill and I ve heard the drinks are good. Unfortunately, I ve only had the food and I just haven t had a good meal

The food here is exquisite. We had the chicken and waffles and the salmon plate. This place is so quaint and it s almost a hidden secret. We discovered it while walking down the streets. We were hungry and we had no idea of it s reputation for great food. We agree with all the reviews how excellent it is. We will come back!!! We met one of the investors and he was very friendly. Honestly this place is so overrated. Food is OKAY, its so expensive for food that doesnt even taste that great. 16 for 3 little sliders?! Not even a side lol I recommend not coming here but if you dont care about the price and that food taste not matching then thats great! The service was amazing though. Staff was friendly and nice. The six burger was ordered medium but came out way overcooked and dry. Surprisingly with all of the toppings the burger was somewhat tasteless. Very disappointing. My wifes hanger steak was delicious. Service was barely acceptable. Was very slow. The server was friendly but was not very attentive. Had to ask for things twice. Ordered a Coke and was given diet. The server said it was regular. This was confirmed when the second one was in fact regular Coke. Overall not a pleasant dining experience.

The food was good; flavors on point. Especially good was the green curry soup- authentic curry flavor. Blood orange ceviche was very balanced; subtle notes of citrus tailing off into coconut. The Royalle pizza was too sweet, not enough gorgonzola. Also I ordered a side of spinach and it was burnt. As a chef I know that was just simple carelessness on the part of the cook. I then ordered some sliders which were perfectly good and delicious- ate only the meat. We then ordered the churros with three different sauces very tasty however we waited too long in between courses.

The Six gets the Three. Im not sure what the attraction is to this place. I loved the server and the service, but the food is only above average by not enough to give it any special praise. Drinks are decent but not extraordinary.m, atmosphere ok. I guess Ill go again as its local enough for me, but I would not go out of my way, for that Id 86 the 6.

Hors doeuvres were good. Halibut was over cooked and dry, no sauce, no soy sauce for the sticky rice. Tasted my sons ceviche, was good. Doubt that I will go back.

Very nice place. First time there. Good menu with lots of different things to eat. Food and service was very good. There were eight of us and every one was happy. Also good desserts. Recommend you try it.

Went for my birthday the food was excellent I had the seabass it was awesome. Close to other restaurants and shopping and a two minute walk to the Anza at Calabasas hotel.

The food overall was exquisite. However, I love Octopus and I order it every where it is made available. Here it was way overcooked & for an octopus dish I only received 1 strip. Everything else was outstandingly delicious. We ordered brussel sprouts & their burger. They offer a mobile pizza for events and a private party room which we will definitely take advantage of. Our waiter (Mike) gave us great service! Even let us sample a drink we were curious about. We are 3 min away so we will definitely be back for the pizza & frituras.

This place absolutely smashes cocktails and steak! I ordered the prime and my dining partner ordered the steak and salad, and they were tender and perfectly done. Servers were attentive and ambiance was great. Will definitely come again.

Good food nice atmosphere service was a little slow. Valet says complimentary but they charged $5.00. Not complimentary. Chicken meat balls are great. Pizza is good.

They had a great happy hour menu with a good value, and their tres leches cake with dulce de leche is TO DIE FOR!!! And their churros - WOW! Will definitely be coming back here again just for those two things!

Love this place! Great food, and excellent drink selection. You cant go wrong with the braised short rib tacos. Parking is complimentary value if you arrive before 6, and only $5 after 6.
