Gluten-free HEAVEN! I recently became gluten-free due to an auto immune condition and was so sad to have to give up my beloved bread and pastry products. That was until I heard about rising heart bakery! Their take and bake cinnamon rolls, millet bread and bagels are off the chart good! Yes, you will spend a little bit more but it’s absolutely worth it to keep these delicious foodie staples in your life! Even if I wasn’t gluten-free I would still absolutely keep these in my pantry!

I've been gluten intolerant for years and am always looking for yummy baked goods. This place had pretty mixed reviews so I decided to see for myself. I had ordered a couple of cupcakes and was a bit disappointed. The cake part itself was okay, but it tasted like it was a few days old. The frosting was entirely too sweet on both flavors. I ended up giving the frosting to my 5 year old niece who loved it. So I'd say if you like super super sweet frosting you'll like it. Otherwise the reviews are true. I'm not sure I'll be making the trip back which is too bad because I saw cinnamon rolls in the fridge...?

Definitely one of my go-to spots for gf foods. They’re “take and bake” cinnamon rolls are to DIE for! Definitely worth picking up some to bake at home to enjoy.
I also pick up muffins, baguettes, cookies, and whatever else I have a hankering for every time I go and it’s all been delicious. Nothing has disappointed me so far so I’ll keep coming back for more until I try everything!

This was my first purchase and the Red Velvet Cake I ordered for my son's birthday did not look like any gluten-free, vegan Red Velvet Cake I've seen on other bakeries websites or even online recipes. Instead it looked a regular brown chocolate cake. The vanilla icing was somewhat sweeter than I expected and the cream cheese filling tasted like the vanilla icing. Needless to say, nobody ate the icing nor very much of the filling. According to the ratings, I was so hoping it would be delicious but the staff was friendly.

I appreciate this bakery but the cupcakes were so heavy. I don't know what flour they use but it should not be that heavy. I have had many gluten free cakes but none this heavy. They should rethink their recipe or the flour to make it lighter, add some pudding or something. They could probably make 2-3 cupcakes out of that one. I even thawed it out and took the icing off to see, but it was the cake itself. The taste was ok. I am a baker.

Great spot for gluten-free & vegan choices! One less star for not having any gluten choices if your with someone who prefers it. The staff was quite friendly and very helpful! The gluten-free bagels are excellent, and there were a lot of muffins, cookies, breads, and other baked goods available. Only soy cream cheese as an option, again no dairy available.

I bought three carrot whoopies, the blueberry scones and the kitchen sink cookies or something like that. I was not disappointed. I have five different allergies unfortunately so I was happy when I found this place. Unfortunately I don’t live in California =(

I have had many GF vegan treats in my life but these were OUTSTANDING! Not too heavy, not too sweet and so flavorful! The cupcake, bread and brownie textures were spot on! Don t miss this place!

We are big fans of their bagels! Safe for celiac and severe allergies! We drive an hour just to get their bread. Highly recommend. Only place local I can purchase follow your hearts gf wraps (which are the best in my opinion).

I love it! The brownies and chocolate chip cookie dough are my favorites. Celiac-friendly, completely gluten free, no cross-contamination. Also kosher. Prices are reasonable. Great spot!!!

I LOVED this place!!!! I felt like I was in Asia.. from green tea cakes to cold tofu to milk teas galore. I wanted so much more than I was able to eat! Wish this place had franchises closer to home.

I give 2 starts because the only good in the cake was the design and the rest was very sweet frosting with hard and dry bread cake none of our party guesses like it you can tell by their faces when they were eating it . In resume: overpriced $45 for a 6 cake with low quality ingredients .

I had the oatmeal cookies and a Blondie I had to throw them away. They were to sweet and tasted like something that was in there artificial made. Yuk!

Excellent bakery! Had the chocolate cream pie for PI day. Complete with a PI on it. Rich chocolate, moist and tasty crust. Definitely recommend for us gluten challenged!

have purchased bread hear many times but only three stars because today I came to buy a 7in cake, granted is gluten free and had ganache and raspberry but it was a 7in cake..45$!! Ridiculous.

Went here for gluten/dairy-free treats for my moms birthday as she has eczema and avoiding dairy prevents breakouts. Simone is a sweet (rising) heart. Thanks for the goodies!

Had a craving for sweets yesterday, but didnt want to go very far to get some. I remembered that this place was somewhere around me and decided to look it up. I was surprised to see that it was around the corner from my gym! Ended up trying a chocolate whoopie pie and a slice of pumpkin chip cheesecake. They were so delicious. Im happy that this place exists.

Ive searched for years to find a really good gluten-free bakery, and everythings fallen short except for this place! I came here skeptical, but it was exceptional and the employees are great! Ive tried a little bit of everything they offer and loved all of it! Definitely worth a quick stop :)

The only place Ive found on the westside that has really good gluten-free bagels. i like the everything bagel best, bit theyre all good. Gluten-free breads are good as well. I like the brioche. Not cheap but totally worth it if youre gluten-sensitive. $8= loaf of bread or 4 bagels. Oh, the cupcakes are good, too!

I found out I have Celiac disease several years ago. So that means no gluten for me. Finding Rising Hearts Bakery has been like Christmas morning for me. Their bagels are delicious. They taste like real bagels. Their cupcakes are so good. The staff is so friendly and helpful. PLus their cold brew coffee is very refrshing

What a great bakery! The cinnamon roll was so good after being warmed up. Vegan cream cheese is legit on the bagel. The bagel did have a slightly thin appearance but was still flavorful. Will be going back here again and again

We take our pup to see a specialist not too far from here. We were looking for a snack that allergic-to-everything me could have too while we waited for rush hour to be a little less crazy. This was a great choice. Delicious! And a super nice young woman working the counter. We sampled brownies, a coconut oatmeal chai cookie whoopee pie and and a carrot cake whoopee pie. Yum. Yum. I would have liked to buy a cheaper bottle of water. We brought bead to bring home. I wonder if some of the meh reviews are from people for whom eating gluten free is a choice, not a health mandate. Edited to add: Google keeps asking about seating here. No tables that Im aware of. Bottled drinks were available.

Great place to stop if youre in the neighborhood for vegan, gluten free treats. Sooo yummy!!! I recommend the chocolate chip whoopie pie. Plus the staff is amazing. They are super friendly and helpful especially Amanda Santiago and Natalie.

The pasties tasted very bland and dense. They are egg, gluten, etc free, but Ive had much better baked goods that still fit that criteria elsewhere. Staff was friendly and helpful, its just that the baked goods arent too good.

Not only some of the most delicious gluten-free/vegan baked goods in SoCal, but some of the best staff Ive interacted with. A huge thank you to store manager, Amanda Santiago, for generously donating an assortment of baked goods to The Street Store Hollywood which benefited temporarily displaced youth and adults. Your kindness and compassion enabled us to offer delicious and healthy baked goods to our volunteers and homeless guests, and for that I am beyond grateful.

Gluten free. Vegan. Gluten free and vegan and desserts, what else could you ask for? I got a bunch of stuff to try, the bread was okay, the cookies and scones better. Pricing was expensive, but fair for the rarity of these alternative ingredient desserts.

Im glad theres a gluten free bakery nearby. The hours arent that great though. A bakery not open for breakfast?! We had cupcakes and a piece of banana cake. The frosting tasted very artificial and was colored with food dyes. So I guess this place isnt really for people who care about their health. Its just a place to avoid gluten.

Went to Rising Hearts Bakery for the first time today and got gluten free, vegan Blondies. They were out of this world! So delicious! And they come in a pack of 3 for only $4!! Will definitely be back!

Their gluten-free products certainly taste good, but sadly, they dont use non-gmo products. Youd think for trying to be so health conscious they would use organic prodcuts. Kosher does not mean that the product is organic. Furthermore, for the prices they charge for a loaf of bread and other products it certainly should be organic! Get with the program - Non-GMO and Organic if you want to truly be healthy and have me as a return customer! Thanks!

Great cupcakes, services, and storefront! I was visiting from SF and wanted to get something gluten-free and egg free for one of my daughters, and this was the perfect spot!! The best part, it was yummy, much better than what I get from Danville, CA !! :-)
