We came as soon as they opened. It was empty and we were able to get a seat right away. Edwin was our server. Our cocktails 🍹 were not to our liking and Edwin had them refreshed. Our food was served with a smile. The coleslaw had no taste. The ribs were tender but lack flavor. If it wasn’t for the BBQ sauce they would have been bland. The restaurant is clean and offers free WiFi. The bar area has TV with sports on. They had nice music played throughout restaurant. If you are looking to host a lunch/brunch group event, this restaurant appears to have the appropriate setting. There is plenty of free parking.

Landed in the bar area for a Birthday lunch. Our group were all pleased with our bartender/server. She had a great personality. We had some drinks - which were good. We started with a full order of the onions. Tasty! Then on to soup, burgers etc... we all liked our meals and the drinks were sooo reasonable. We left happy, full, with leftovers and will be returning back in a few weeks.

In the wings you can tell they where frozen and you let them sit in the danger zone temperature 🌡you can taste
For the onion loaf; the batter was not fresh nor the onion. The batter fell apart and there was no seasoning
For the prices the restaurant is charging you should be giving the customers fresh food.

The Stake did not taste good. Unfortunately the Stake as well tasted like it has been left out and in the danger zone temperature

When I let the manager know this he argued that they don't have anything frozen but they wouldn't charge me for my plate
I don't need the manager fighting with me about if they have or dont have their food frozen. I just wanted to let you know the food was not good and you should take attention in the kitchen, with the chefs, or with your food carrier. Because the food does taste as it was frozen and not defrosted properly.

When I was leaving the manager followed us out just to lett me "you know you shouldn't have rare Stake, you should have well done"
first of all the Stake being rare was not the problem.
Then he said "you know doctor told me that it's not good for you"

I told him the Stake being rare was not the problem that problem was that you can taste that the meat was left out longer then its recommended by safety inspectors that's why I said the( Danger Zone ) you can taste the juices when meat has frozen burns.

If the owner can please have the chefs taste the food and check the quality of the food when it leaves the kitchen and make sure when your food carriers bring your food that you have a chef checking the quality of it as well.

Beautiful experience! Amazing beautiful workers. Great waitress. Treat you with so much kindness, joy and happiness. Very caring employees. They put love with their work. It doesn't get better than this. I had a great time enjoying my meal. You get your money's worth all I can say. Please go to this. Tony Roma's i highly recommend this restaurant if you ever want to enjoy your meal and get full and get treated like a queen and a king, this is the best place for you and your family They're very courteous and caring employees also a very clean restaurant. We ordered the Roma Sampler. The half union loaf was not completely cooked but we were not disappointed with the boneless wings and spinach-artichoke dip. The baked potato soup was delicious!

We ordered “Summer BBQ Trio” with different sides. The baby back ribs and BBQ chicken were fantastic. Unfortunately, the hot links are not authentic hot links. The hot links were basically boiled hot dogs with spicy bbq.

Food was awful. I tried going somewhere else and everything was fully and had a waiting time of at least 30 min. Then I noticed it was kinda empty here. Now I know why. Food quality was bad. Tasteless and overcooked. They used to be known for the ribs, how can they be so bad? Make yourself a favor and ask for something else.

Server was fabulous. We were celebrating our twin boys 15th birthday. She treated them as the adults they almost are, and was very attentive to our needs (extra butter, drink refills, etc ). The steaks, the ribs, all of the food was so delicious, I will be going back even when it's not someone's birthday. Bringing the boys each a birthday dessert was the icing on the cake - pun intended!

I go with my uncle almost weekly to have drinks at the bar here. The food is fantastic and the bar tenders are knowledgeable and carry on with you about whatever you may be discussing. Christian is fantastic!
(I hope I spelled it right) Always makes us feel welcome. Sometimes we bring visitors here for dinner in the dining area also. The waiters and waitresses are top notch. They really go out of their way to accommodate their guests.
Usually there's no wait but if there is you can grab a drink at the bar on the left as you go in. They have TV screens and usually there's sports on. They will put on a specific game for you if they can. They do serve meals at the bar itself and there are a few tables in the bar area also.
It has a pretty relaxed atmosphere. Not super pumped up and loud like some sports bars. It has a nice friendly vibe.

Landed in the bar area for a Birthday lunch. Our group were all pleased with our bartender/server. She had a great personality. We had some drinks - which were good. We started with a full order of the onions. Tasty! Then on to soup, burgers etc... we all liked our meals and the drinks were sooo reasonable. We left happy, full, with leftovers and will be returning back in a few weeks. Parking: Its part of the mall parking, so there is parking everywhere.

Ive been going to Tony Romas for a long time when there were a lot of locations. Although this one is nice new and clean, it is not Tony Romas original BBQ sauce. Its a fraud. Its not original. The real Tony Romas has a tangy sauce and this is sweet. The Tony Romas in Anaheim is the real deal. Dont let this location fool you its definitely not the original sauce.

Worst place ever. Sat down and no one was in this restaurant only because the food is all frozen food and the bread came out as we sat down was two or three day old bread . They try heat up and throw some oil over it like it s fresh. Stay away from this place.

Horrible customer service from all staff here the manager on duty needs to work on her appearance comes to work as if today was her day off. Plenty of tables available to seat guest and the waitress wait for manager to direct them where to seat the customers when there is so many tables available.

Wish i could leave 0 stars to be honest , I came from the valley because Tony romas went out of business near me like 6-7 years ago and hadnt had it in a while well I regret coming back after all this time. Used to love Tony romas and this place was awful . Food tasted horrible and ordered BACON mac and cheese and when it got to my table it was just mac and cheese and thought the lady mis understood me and gave me regular mac and cheese and when she finally came back to give me the check she charged me for the bacon mac and cheese and I told her youre charging me for bacon mac and cheese when I never got the bacon and she says oh its only a little bit of bacon you wouldve got so itll be the same price and I said yea but I still never got my bacon and she interrupted me and said I know what youre telling me but its still the same price if you get bacon or not . Didnt even offer to remove it off my check because they forgot and for 2 people I almost paid 100 bucks which is ridiculous!!!!!!!

Party of 3. We ordered a ribs with shrimp plate, a soup and a tri tip sandwich. The meat in the tri tip was chewy and tough. The meat on the ribs was bland and dry. The only flavor was in the barbecue sauce. This place is over priced for the quality of the food they serve. Would not recommend!!

Absolutely terrible. Me and group of friends went here after a long day to sit down and get something to eat, but we honestly shouldve just went to the Chilis across the street. Once everyone ordered their food and tried it, it was just left there, untouched because nobody liked it. I got the Cajun Shrimp and Lobster Pasta and it tasted like artificial macaroni and cheese sauce on top of regular pasta noodles. It had no flavor (even though it was supposed to be cajun) and tasted extremely watered down and lazily made. After getting our food our waitress was nowhere to be found, so we couldnt make a proper complaint and when she did come and we spoke to the manager, the tried to put us at fault because we waited too long to say something. Terrible Customer Service . Terrible Food . Never Going Back.

TR, didnt disappoint me at all. Well a little pricey but I havent had a good tender rack of babybacks in a long time. Deliciously ...tender ooooweeeee!!!! I love to mix that Carolina honey BBQ sauce and the hot BBQ sauce. TR really use to be the spot back in the day. Im glad to see they are still hanging in there...and the food & service were wonderful . Like I said a lil pricey especially being that its close by competitors are OliveGarden and Chillis. I was alone that night because I went to return something at JCP which is located in the same mall lot. I thought I need dinner and went to TR. $80 including tip for 1 person. I got the sampler appetizer $20, the babyback rib dinner and a coke. Thats ridiculous but it was a nice, clean restaurant, clean restrooms , but nothing overly fancy in atmosphere. This location does have a full bar area and 2 private rooms for parties I guess. But $80 in 2023, no way. Thats what I spend when I go to Flemings for lunch and the atmosphere alone outranks TR. Im just saying in my OPINION you guys are in Carson which is a great location fwy accessible, so youre just a hop/skip from Cerritos, Long Bch, Lakewood, Compton, ALL the beach cities/Southbay and the greater LA area. The mall parking lot is cool but if staying in business is the goal...you guys have gotta adjust those prices. Whats the lure from the forementioned would be patrons of those cities to jump on the 405 and come support TR, when there are other options closer to home. Hey what do I know? I paid $80 and the place had customers. Im just saying I remember a time when TR looked like t h e building was spittin up ppl and TR had TV commercials. Long waits but worth every bite. That can be the case again. If I spent $80 just for me then I feel sorry for the ppl around me that had multiple people in their parties. Make it make sense folks. You gotta be getting ribs wholesale or something. Trim the fat somewhere. Nevertheless thanks for the memories. Im not fussing... Id just like to see TR survive and be introduced to a new generation of good times and good eats with great service. Took me 3days to finish those ribs. They warmed up perfectly in the microwave. Service was extremely poor if you could call it that. The food was not very good. The chicken and vegetables were decent but the ribs were dry and over cooked. Sauce was brought to the table when meal was finish. Everyone in my section appeared to be given great service with care. When I flagged the waiter for a check he told me he right there to bring me a to go container. I wouldn t take what they served me to my home. That s one off my list.

Its definitely not what it used to be. The Carolina honey sauce was horrible. It tastes like the one in the bottle. They switched their beans to pork and beans instead of ranch style beans. And the prices have tremendously went up. After craving Tony romos for so long I finally decided to go. We used to say this is my last and final time going. I rather go to Woodys barbecue and get more barbecue for my money. So sad. We used to go here a lot.

I havent been here in yrs. I was surprised to see they still have a busy business. Im very happy to see that. The atmosphere hasnt changed. It needs some updating, especially the booths. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. But they werent very busy at that time so she should have been. The food was ok. My ribs didnt have any seasoning on it and the shrimp were just ok. Ill probably be back, but it wont be often.

I ate at the bar on a Tuesday evening. It wasnt busy yet so thats good! The bartender was fantastic. He was whipping up drinks, and serving the entire bar area all by himself. He was a jokester, and enjoyed talking with the guests. It has been almost 10 years since I ate at a Tony Romas, but holy cow did their prices increase. I had a simple chicken dish with rice and mashed potatoes and it was almost $30. The beers were a bit over priced. Very sad they got rid of Lagunitas IPA in favor of Bud Light - poor decision. Overall the atmosphere is really nice. Wish I could remember the bartenders name, he made that dinner fun and remerable.

Tony Romas ribs are good but the baby back ribs were not very meaty. They did taste great! The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The salmon with butter was well liked as were the hamburgers. I feel it is a bit pricey for the atmosphere. It feels like a diner not a $20 - $40 restaurant. Also there was an annoying noise coming from the kitchen that really disturbed our meal. He don t like to send things back because he has a phobia that they will do something to it. Our waitress was excellent with good service but the food was awful I want our $100 back

Waitress was amazing and funny! I commented on prices and made remark I may have to go work a corner & come back to pay for my meal due to hiked prices or wash dishes first she replied the corner may pay more and leave a spot for her,!! My Sis and I was Rollin! Love the humor!

My all time favorite restaurant since after COVID-19. They revamped the menu. No more reservations required! We go here after our movie outings! Just went for my girls birthday party! Baby back ribs are my favorite and they serve a new delicious Italian bread drenched in butter! Staff are awesome and drinks are potent and delicious

This place needs either more employees or a training for customer service. Arrived for lunch and was going to sit in for a birthday party. Was told to go order at the bar to have a separate bill. No problem. When I went to the bar the bartender told me I cannot order in the bar unless I sit in the bar. I went back to the server and informed him that I would not be allowed to order. Needless to say I had to sit in the bar away from the party and was walked past multiple times. Finally I was able to order. They need some help. But hey I guess. Also it was not packed nor bombarded. Havent been here in years probably wont be back

Check your receipt they charged us for a whole bottle of wine and we only had 1 glass of wome at that table. The waitress gets all up on your man like you not there. The plates was dirty. The bread delivery was late this was just bad time.

I come to this Tonys Romas to meet up with my best friend to catch up and keep in touch plus the food quality (steak house burger) I order is on point and the servers have good customer service very courteous with no pressure. Look I know its not for everybody but give it a try once it never hurts, I hope this review helps.

I was in LA visiting my family when it was suggested that we eat at Tony Romas. We were greeted by the host and seated sooner than the stated 30 minutes. Once we were seated the waiter came over right away to take our drink orders, then stated he would be right back. We were all talking so we didnt notice that it had been a while since he returned. When he did return he was apologetic and took our order. We all enjoyed the food.

This was a to go order. The prices are higher. The food was good, but didnt justify the price. A ribeye steak dinner is $41. w/tax You dont have salad as a side order option, thats $4.99 more. That was disappointing, but alot of things are these days. The restaurant was clean and atmosphere seemed to be festive.
