Very clean, same food standard, with perfect service from a friendly staff

This is the update from the last IHOP review.
Two days ago, I was really hungry in the middle of the night, and most of the restaurant was closed.
I remembered that IHOP restaurant
opened 24 hours a day.
I went to the IHOP restaurant for
my late dinner.
When I walked inside of the restaurant, It was clean, and the restaurant was empty because of it
was late at night.
Young lady Grace was greeted me
with a big smile. She was very friendly and attentive.
I ordered the breakfast menu, which
was two eggs/ham/ pancakes.
After that, I got my order within 15 minutes. I was surprised that It was
fast service.
Then, I came home, and I tried my breakfast. Eggs were fluffy and soft.
I was delicious. And pancakes were
really tasty and tasted good.
Pancakes were moist & dry. It was a great breakfast. I really enjoyed it.
House of pancakes opens 24 hours.
7 days a week.

Prices have gotten out of hand for the quality of food served. Had to ask 4 time for the rest of my food as only part of it was brought out. Also had to keep asking for more coffee as they to busy talking to each other than take care of their tables.

Marie is an awful server. She can't understand what I'm trying to say likely because she can't speak good English. I wanted to ask around because I didn't want to eat alone because I was feeling really lonely and she couldn't understand what I was trying to say. I ended up eating alone anyway. I was having a bad night and she made it worse.

It's hard to say everything is great when there is hostility looking at you! I wanted a cup of coffee but, I "needed " to use the restroom. I asked the person who was standing near the door is there a code but I told her that I was going to order something after I use the bathroom. She wasn't nearby after I exited the restroom. When she returned there was another person with her and the air around her was hostile just rolling off her. I asked who are you and she stated that she's the manager and everything goes through her. I told her what I had said to the person who I spoke with when I entered the rest. I didn't feel welcomed by the manager and I wanted to leave but I decided to stay and have toast and tea. This isn't my first time at this location and the atmosphere was the same unpleasant. I will not be returning to your restaurant anymore, It's not a pleasant atmosphere, no heat inside and most of all people who are unpleasant to be around!

My partner chooses IHOP over Dennys and Norms ONLY because of the strawberry pancake syrup. The only positive I can say is that the coffee was good.
The issues that came up were 1) the server looked annoyed she had to be there. But, whatever, people are allowed to have bad days. 2) they don't have buffalo wings, which I've seen at every other diner we've ever been to, but it's ok! 3) the chicken strips were hard and dry, obviously cooked for too long. 4) they don't have buffalo sauce, which was another surprise. 5) they don't have blue cheese dressing, just ranch or honey mustard 6) prices are too high for the lack of menu options and the quality of the food. 7) server was visibly irritated when my partner said he's a veteran and asked if they offered a discount. She said yes and crumpled the original check in her hand in apparent frustration (my observation). 8) When the server left the check on the table she walked away. We thought we paid at the front so we stood by the hostess stand and waited. I finally asked someone and they said we were supposed to pay at the table with our server. But she hadn't gone back to our table and no one said anything to us.
I'm sure these aren't deal breakers for people but if they do matter to you then I wouldn't suggest coming here. I wouldn't voluntarily come again.

The restaurant & restroom were clean. The $5 pancake deal proved excellent. The 1st visit, the server took an inordinate amount of time to order & serve. The 2nd visit, the server brought a half-filled container of strawberry syrup and insisted they never served strawberry ice cream. We got it the 1st visit.
I'll probably ONLY eat there for special deals.

Food was not terrible but the waffle looked like it had been in a dumpster fire.
The second attempt was not much better, but was edible. As it turned out, the waiter "accidentally" ordered the waffle well done. When asked about it, the waiter told us that we should have kept sending it back until they got it right. Who does that? Anyway, bacon was cold, eggs completely covered with cheese. Kids were running wild all over the restaurant. I couldn't wait to leave. Never again at this location.

Iwe went to have breakfast on a Sunday morning and with this wave of heat thats happening right now everybody was sweating in there and I went to ask the manager if he could turn on the AC at least a lil bit he said NO!!! The poor waitresses were running and sweating and he said that they were to scandalous yeah he can say that because hes just seating in his office all fresh uuggh what a service on top that it was hot I didnt enjoy my food the coffee was sour!! Eww no I dont think Im going back there

1 server to help 3 separate parties. 1- group of 9, 1 group of 5 & 1- group of 1. I was party of 9. We arrived and waited 10 minutes. Once seated, we waited an additional 20 minutes for someone to take our order. When she (apologies as she wasn t wearing a name tag and did NOT give her name) arrived to our table she immediately advised us she was the only one to help us for the night. We were fine w it and tried to allow her some time to get herself situated. Yet, she proceeded to take all 9 of our orders. She never once took our drink orders. Only food orders. After 20 minutes, my throat was parched and I asked if anyone got their drink order taken. Everyone said no. I got up to see where our server was- when I passed the register area, she was hiding and asked excuse me, can I help you?! She was upset. Because apparently I may have crossed the No man s land for her. When I let her know she didn t take our drink orders, she stated it s just me . When I asked if she needed help, she stated it s just me . When I asked who was going to Cook our food, she stated she had a cook, but again it s just me . When I asked if she needed help, she said it s just me . I asked the party of 1 if he had been helped because he seemed very upset & he said nah, she hasn t even come to me . I advised her if you re short handed, I am happy to help she again stated it s just me . I asked the party of 5 if they had been helped and they were quiet. I became upset. We had been waiting well over 30 minutes and if she couldn t handle it all on her own despite her being very forthcoming w her it s just me , she could have asked for help. Or at least told us that she wouldn t be able to assist us especially as she hadn t even assured the other 2 parties whether we were going to get our food or not. However, the rest of the party became upset and we left. IHOP- if you re short staffed- DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. If youve a LAZY, INCOMPETENT employee, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! But don t waste our time w this and employ an incompetent girl who didn t seem to like her job and was barely doing the bare minimum. We left: however, as we were exiting the parking garage I did notice 2 of Carson City s Sheriff PD already at curbside- they got their faster than she TOOK OUR ORDER. The server is incompetent. And this does not bear well with IHOP s mission statement. Help the poor girl out or put her on better shifts because I have received better service at the local gas station w much less on their menus!!

EXCELLENT FOOD! PANCAKES HERE ARE DELICIOUSLY DELICIOUS LOL. I will say that some items are overpriced. For example, $5 for a hasbrown is just ridiculous if a stack of pancakes is the same price. But other than that the food is good!

I came here with my family after 9 PM. The service was exceptional. Rodrigo was so attentive. We requested that our food come out hot with a please and thank you. Im so tired of paying for warm distasteful food. My sister in law and I had the BBQ burger with Orings. Rodrigo delivered with pleasure and my brother tipped with pleasure! That was the best burger Ive had in a long time in a restaurant! We were all pleased. Thank you so much Rodrigo

Today I came for lunch and it was a terrible service, I ordered a chicken omelet and apparently they only gave me cheese with egg, I complained about it and they didnt make the change to another, one is going to eat comfortably so they can go out with their things.

My wasnt good. She seated at a table after she got up from laying down in a booth and then left came back 10 minutes later with a menu, she said she didnt feel good and it was her last day working there she was going to send a different server to help me. Another server came about 7 minutes later.

One night, I was very hungry, and most of the restaurants were already, so I remembered that IHOP restraunt opened 24 hours a day. I went to the restaurant. It was late at night, so they didnt have many customers. The young lady helped me for the l selection of foods. She was very nice and attentive. I ordered the chicken sandwich to go. Anyway, I came home & tried their chicken sandwich. It was juicy and delicious sandwich. I enjoyed their good foods. I know that I would go back to the IHOP restraunt again. They had the best foods & good customer service

Massive diner, open 24 h. Spotless clean, with excellent service. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 7:30 am on a Thursday. The portions are massive. You could pretty much order one omelette for two people.

The two egg breakfast was low quality. Two very small pieces of bacon, less than two scrambled eggs and dry tasteless pancakes that had obviously been sitting around. $4.29 for coffee?? We will not return.

This location was the best one so far. Very clean, and the customer service was A+. My only slight issue was that they brought out half of my food, and I waited 15 minutes extra just to get my waffles. She said they only have 1 waffle maker.

The employees treat you very badly and are always angry. I dont like the way they treat us. The woman is very sarcastic. My daughter-in-law is angry at what happened to us. She was crying because of the bad treatment and racism. They have to have better behavior with the employees and improve the situation. The way they speak is to be kind and not answer angry because that is their job to treat their clients well if they are not good for that it is better that they not leave and stay at home there no one bothers them

We showed up and asked for wait time for 2 and it was reasonable but they didnt ask for our names which was weird since they asked everyone else after us. The people that got there after us got seated and they didnt even tell us anything so we just got up and left. Bad front desk service for just looking at us multiple times without saying anything (basically ignoring us).

The bacon is so thin, undercooked and greasy like it sat out all morning in grease. My pancakes werent fluffy or hot to the point that the butter would not melt or spread. You could tell they sat under the heating light for a while. IHOP used to be good and fresh and overall enjoyable but for the amount I spent there, I can do it at home and tip myself.

Keep in mind, this is 5 stars for an IHOP. So far as IHOP goes, the service was great. The food was cooked spot on and amazingly it did not have that humid smell that I find in a lot of chain diners. My only complaint is that they open at 7.
