Bakery, fresh bread & yummy food. We enjoyed breakfast: veggies skillet & polly breakfast with French Toast. Both very tasty.
The coffee was very watered down. Maybe we just got a bad pot. Our server was great, too.
Expect to wait on weekend breakfast peak hours.

Such a great place for breakfast! The restaurant itself is super clean and the service is extremely fast!

Our waitress was Lucy and she was the sweetest lady! I loved having a conversation with her and she was so attentive to all of our needs! She will be the reason why I return!

Best environment and food experience. From entering to leaving, they were friendly and attentive to everyone. It is family friendly and they have some great deals. I went in a group of 5 people, including a child, and all our needs were met. We arrived around 4pm and got like a slice of pie happy hour with our lunch/dinner menus and my child recieved the free school lunch for tomorrow deal. His free school lunch included pb&j sandwich, a banana, goldfish, and a cookie. There was another option to choose from.

Polly's has been my go to place when I want a good breakfast but today I was completely disappointed. There was a hair on my wife's food and told my server and brought us another plate but at that time we were already discussed. When I go to play the manager still charged me that meal and acted like what happened was ok. I get it, a mistake happens. I am sure the hair was not put on the food on purpose but the way the Manger handle the situation was very poorly.

Police has wonderful food. Their jellies jams spreads are great. Their pies are tasty. You might have to wait a minute or two to get in there and seated but the experience is wonderful

Very good breakfast. The banana cream pies was delicious. I would have taken a picture but I devoured it. Coffee is good also. The service was amazing. Restaurant took me to a feeling of being in a small town.

We went there for dinner on a Saturday night. We ordered Crispy Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries and Prime Rib French Dip with regular fries. I had to return the Chicken Sandwich because the chicken breast was burned and dried out. The second sandwich was still pretty much the same. It was still burned on the edge but not as bad. The chicken was bland and has no flavor. The French Dip did not have enough meat and it was overprice for what you get. We also ordered a House Salad and found a piece of hair on the bottom of the plate. We are disappointed and will not go back.

Food took long and when it arrived it was quite gross. The pot pie was a joke and man even the drinks were a joke...the owner needs to look up what a michelada is and how it should taste especially if they are cheating almost 9 bucks for one!

Stopped by this place for desert after eating at a neighboring food place. Order 5 pies to go. 2 Lemon, Chocolate, Cherry, and Apple. I have to say the size was underwhelming. But they were soooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet, it's probably a good thing that they serve small pieces. Might as well eat sugar out of the bag.

Polly's Pies is a lovely institution of American diners. They make their own bread, pies, etc. from scratch instead of buying everything from conglomerates like Applebee's, Red Lobster, Olivegarden, etc., and you can taste the difference. Their wait-staff is friendly, patient, and on top of their tables. The place is clean and the restaurant is free of clutter like you see at other small businesses. Well done - I wish there was a location closer to us!

This place used to be my go-to spot for breakfast, but I went in to buy some oatmeal cookies to bring home. I had a craving for oatmeal cookies. Anyway, they were out of them in the little 8 pack containers they sell in the waiting area. I noticed they had individual cookies behind their glass counter near their pies. There were 5 oatmeal cookies, so I asked the lady behind the counter if I could take 4 of the oatmeal cookies and 4 of another type of cookie. She told me they don't mix cookies and that I would have to buy them individually. I walked out without purchasing anything. That's the last time I will ever go to that Polly's Pies. As it is their cookies are over priced when you compare to Portos, where a dozen of their oatmeal cookies is around 9 dollars and is a far better quality cookie. I would have paid the $8.99 at Polly's Pies to satisfy my craving, but their unwillingness to meet me half way showed me they don't want my money. Porto's, see you tomorrow.

Haven't been to Polly's Pies for awhile. Love their fresh baked pies, albeit getting pricey.
Tried their prime rib special for dinner. Waited nearly 30 minutes for seatings. Looks like staff shortage (just about at every restaurants). Our waitress was courteous and attentive.
Ordered steak medium rare, but came out medium-well and rather dried. Had to pour entire au jus on steak. Can not recommend their prime rib.

Service was terrible .we went to eat breakfast at 8:30 am it was not busy at that time.the hostess was great .but our waitress (Lucy)terrible service she didn’t greet me nicely brought cafe 8 mn later .my food was cold .i order one of the signature skillets .the whole plate was cold ,cheese not melted .i ask them to warm it up or bring a new one .she roll her eyes .we also have a empty plates for her to take it away she took only one and left 3 (we was 4 adults)total.the she brought the check and never came back to pick up the credit card .she pass by several times.finally I took the check and credit card to the front (mgr told me pay to your server)?I told him she never came by to pick it up !instead of charge me he call the waitress (Lucy)she got the credit card and the check came back and left she said leave everything there I will pick it later😡😡 and the mgr didn’t even say nothing.i will never go back or recommend this restaurant ever again.

Polly's has kept itself relevant by adapting its ambience, food choices, etc. to changing tastes. The menu items are mostly home-style comfort food -- many with a twist, a spice or special ingredient that makes them unique. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality. Even if you're there for breakfast, you should never leave without having a slice of pie. You can't go wrong. They are all winners.

This is the first time I tried breakfast from Pollys. I ordered to go and Lisa at the front counter made me feel very welcome and provided great customer service.

Wait-staff is lovely. The hostess made me feel incredibly welcome... I don't get that feeling from a lot of restaurant staff in this part of the country. Our waiter, Herman, was very quick and attentive, kept our drinks full and checked in on us.

Food came out quickly. We all got burgers which were delicious and cooked well. The sweet potato fries were a bit greasy, but the regular fries were crispy (my personal preference for fries). The pie was fresh and delicious, and came in big slices.

The dining area was clean and had a modern-country atmosphere. We came at about 4pm, the restaurant wasn't very busy.

Went in for slice of pie and coffee. Really good ! We had boysenberry and banana cream. Crust was perfectly flakey, did not overwhelm the filling. Whole pies look reasonable prices too.

Nice interior and exterior landscaping. Visited this after going to a Sunday morning service. This is December 2023 and would not visit again for two reasons. First food was okay chicken salad dressing was too heavy on the Chinese mustard flavor very difficult to use. Sandwich was all right as well. We live near a Fullerton branch of Polly's and so are familiar with the kind of food they serve. We do like the restaurant sitting out in cerritos.

We went for breakfast so we could get cinnamon rolls. The quiche Lorraine was good but the cinnamon rolls were awful. Catie and hard. We were shorted part of our order and charged for it. Not a good experience. Not going back

Ordering online for the holidays is terrible. You think it would be convenient, but it's not. The online process and the store don't communicate and are not in sync. The store cannot check online orders. If you don’t get there at a specific time, they will resell the pie you bought and paid for, and the email doesn’t tell you the exact details about the store. They told me too bad; I could only get the pies they had left, and I had ordered specialty pies. Phoning the store before the holiday is a nightmare; they don’t answer. I do understand it's the holiday. Please spend it with your loved ones. But do your job and provide good customer service. The hostile atmosphere in the store was so bad, and they were overwhelmed, so disorganized, and chaotic. I ordered online to avoid all of this and was advised by the staff the online process was best if I wanted to make sure I would get my pies. I will never go back to that store ever again. I do recommend Polly’s Pies but not the one in Cerritos.
