Lazy Dog at Los Cerritos Center is a great spot for casual dining! I had their ribs, and they were tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the umami fries. My friend ordered the burger, and it was juicy, fresh, and absolutely satisfying. Both dishes were delicious, and the portions were generous. The relaxed atmosphere, festive decor, and attentive service made our visit even better. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Amazing French dip sandwich! Juicy tender meat, with caramelized onions dripping with cheese - huge portions! The pickled cucumber side was real tasty. I even tried my wife's 5 cheese grilled cheese, and it was also great. Service was a bit slow, but no biggie.

Delicious!!!! Anytime we go we have an amazing time and experience. The food is always delicious!!! Our waitress was amazing and kept checking in on us. The atmosphere was divine. The cute pups are an added bonus!

The food and services at this restaurant were exceptional. Located just outside the Cerritos Mall, the venue offers abundant parking spaces, making it convenient for diners. I barely had to wait more than a few minutes for a table, which was a pleasant surprise.

I opted for the sirloin steak, and I must say, it was cooked to perfection—tender and juicy, with just the right amount of seasoning, avoiding any chewiness that can sometimes accompany less expertly prepared cuts.

To finish off the meal, I indulged in their butter cake, and it was absolutely heavenly. The combination of its rich, buttery flavor and moist texture felt like a delightful treat, leaving me completely satisfied. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend.

This LD location in Cerritos Mall was the first time we had tried this establishment. Right from the get-go, the hostess was friendly and welcoming. The staff Diana, our server, was kind and knew the menu with recommendations. The manager came by with a treat and introduced herself. Aside from the staff's kindness and professionalism, the food was the star of the show. Fresh, hot, quality. But please come by and see for yourself and let us know your experience.

The vibe here is very chill and fun. The service was quick and helpful. The ambiance was fun and inviting. The main disappointment was the absolute mind numbing behavior of a small child on a riding toy who tore through the walkways like a he was on a sugar high like no other! The staff just stared at this kid as if this type of atrocious behavior was the norm. Flying down the walkway, sliding into people of their dining table areas and squealing with a pacifier in his mouth. The so-called “mother” just laughed and stood there ignoring the disruption caused to their dining experience, until finally a manager walked over and stayed, “you can’t do that in here!” For 5 minutes this insanity took place while trying to enjoy our meal… 5 min, with not one of the 10 workers standing around walking over and politely informing this person of their poor parenting skills in public. Did I reduce the rating based on this experience, no, but it’s a coaching opportunity for management to teach staff how to deal with absurd parents like this. The food, well, thats where we took a small diverted turn down a road that was disappointing. If that unwarranted form of atmospheric entertainment wasn’t bad enough, we were hit with some less than exciting food pallets. The over all flavor rating of these three dishes was a meh, 6 out of 10. The biscuits with the chicken and biscuits dish were hard, flavorless and did not pair well with the chickens texture. The sauce was rather bland and did not have delicious maple flavor advertised or expecting and needing. The omelet was a decent offering and had a low amount of vegetables and was on the drier side of the desired consistency needed. The burrito had a great size to it, but again, lacked in the flavor department. The bites were followed by bites to complete the meal and not a desire to enjoy the next bite. This is what most miss the mark with on flavor combinations in food. The bite should have you yearning for the next, and that just didn’t happen here. Maybe we were a little thrown off by the pestiferous behavior that disrupted numerous guests around us. Maybe.

We've never been disappointed with Lazy Dog. This was a new location. The decor was fantastic.

For starters we had the Queso Dip and Chips which was very tasty.

My wife had the Kung Pao bowl and I had the 12-oz steak, along with a draft beer.

Including a 20% tip the total was ~$107 Ouch, but it's 2025 and that's the new normal.

Made reservations for 13 at 6 PM…all got here 15 minutes prior to, it’s 6:30 and still waiting. Why even take the reservation if you can’t accommodate, should have just informed us you couldn’t do it in a timely manner and would have just looked elsewhere. Horrible customer service.

Just wanted to share our experience with lazy dog Cerritos excellent experience. There's a slight mix up on the takeout order someone inadvertently got our order immediately they apologized and they remade our order. It was a simple mistake as the names were similar but Julianne was phenomenal in dealing with both our order and the person that took our original order by mistake giving everyone a $25 gift certificate and comping both meals. Just have to think Julianne and management for empowering her to make a quick decision and everyone had a great night food was excellent.

Been coming to multiple lazy dog locations since they first opened. Including the cerritos location. But For some reason today while we were having dinner, the manager Julian and her staff refused to serve us drinks. I am still puzzled as to why she felt we couldn't drink anymore. I have been coming to lazy dog happy hours for years and have had at least 2 to 3 drinks and have never been refused a drink.
My only assumption as to why we were refused a drink is that we had ordered a bottle of wine prior. Apparently they did not feel comfortable serving us anymore, not sure why they felt that way since we were having dinner and having a great time. My complaint here is that if there's limits to drinks then this should be company wide. Coming here and being judge for noe reason was not what I was expecting. I'll still to my other locations.

The food was not good, no seasoning. Was not tasteful at all. We had fish, a club sandwich, tortilla soup, salad, and fried Devil eggs. They were good but the rest of the food was not worth the visit. I will not return. The service was good and the restaurant was nice.

My son witness a server, tall white guy shoulder length hair play with some onion rings, place them on another co workers hand and then re-plate and serve it. Our server was standing off to the side and kept running g his hands through his hair. A super no no in the service industry. Spoke to the manager and voiced our concerns and walked out. 8/5/25 just before 10pm. These practices by the staff are flat out unprofessional and unacceptable. TEACH YOUR STAFF PROPER FOOD HANDLING PROCEDURES OR FIRE THEM. Manager feel free to contact us back and we will explain more

I used to really like this place but now I think some items are just frivolous with cost vs. value. For example, the Chicken Katsu Sando was the biggest rip-off I've ever experienced in any restaurant. It was not only miniscule, but also dry and flavorless. Everytime I visit Cerritos this will be my go to spot..I'm kind of picky about eating however this is a great place to eat..I went there twice while on my vacation..my first night I had the honey chicken Waffle salad when I tell you this was the best thing I've eaten out in a long time man it was delicious and you get a lot of food which was too much for me..lol..however I ate most of it..the second time I had the black and Bleu burger it was delicious that's the best burger I've had from a non burger joint ever..my favorite thing on the menu was the non alcoholic drinks. I don't drink and these drinks were perfect. The first one I had was a Jamaican punch..it had a lot of different fruit juices it was delicious..the second time I had a strawberry drink..I can't remember the name...I do highly recommend the lazy dog..so if you're ever in Cerritos give them a try

I feel bad giving lazy dog a bad review because I really like this place. The other day I came to eat I got the teriyaki chicken my friend got the ahi salad. She ate a bit off my plate. By the next morning I had the runs. I later found out so did she, it was the only meal we had together and the only thing we shared was the chicken. I went to the doctor the next day and he said he wasn’t sure but most likely E. coli and gave me Z-pack. For 5 days. It eventually killed of the germs and I feel better but it was a really bad experience. I am considering asking them to cover the cost of my medical care but not sure how to go about it.

Here is the scam they are running here! I go to other locations and happy hour is in the entire restaurant. Here it is in one section and when you get the bill and inquire about happy hour they say it’s on the other side of the restaurant…what! Why does nobody tell you during the seating process and why is it in one section only? Other locations have entire restaurant?? Nothing but a scam, but the good thing is that we won’t be going back!!!

WOW YES. Came here with some friends cause I was craving that butter cake. Dan was our waiter and I never went another waiter ever again. PHENOMENAL GUY and seems super well versed on the menu and just lazy dog in general. Highly recommend this location. Atmosphere was chill despite it being a busy day. Service was good and food was fantastic as always. Heard they’re are opening MORE locations. CANT WAIT.

Really my favorite chain restaurant. Best dining here. You can pay more elsewhere, but Lazy Dog is just a perfect value with its great ambiance. And for us sports watchers...the restaurant's bar is a sports bar. Monitors can be seen from dining tables.

Such a fun little spot. It’s dog friendly. The service was excellent. The food was all delicious. I highly recommended the fried deviled eggs! The thyme lemonade is also delicious (not too sweet but perfectly sour).

Lots of things to like about Lazy Dog. Good food and fast, friendly service. Their burgers are great (messy), pasta is good too. Carnitas and fish tacos are meh. Drinks are pretty good too. Fries, onion rings and sauces are good too.
The bathrooms were somewhat clean. The prices are sorta what you would expect - most entrees are $20 to $25. Drinks are $5 - $10.

Great service from Ashley and Armando! We had a couple drinks and they were all super good! Definitely recommend the Butter Cake for dessert, not too sweet but super tasty!!

I live for the Lazy Dog sticky ribs with umami fries 😋 Our waitress was so friendly and kept our drinks filled and the food flowing. My son likes unique food, so he ordered the peanut butter and jelly burger. While it sounds odd, it was actually quite delicious. The flavors complimented each other. We have only had positive experiences at Lazy Dog.

We had a very short wait as they prepared a table for 8. Drinks were served quickly, and our food order taken. Food was warm and tasty. Lots of choices. My Black and Blue cheeseburger was juicy, big: excellent.

Ordered a cucumber cocktail and something seemed off. Is it me or is like half missing. The bartender said “I measured all the alcohol. I can give you more ice if you want”. Hmm…

This is my 2nd visit to a lazy dog and both times I've been disappointed. The price I paid was not worth what we were served. We had a party of 5 and 3 of us were not happy with our meals.

The bar doesn't have cell phone charging plugs underneath the bar like the Downey location has. Always a good time here

Friendly staff and fast service! My 1st time here and we had a very enjoyable experience. It was the only thing that was open late and was worth the drive. Food was made fresh . Jorge or Jose our server was FANTASTIC 😊

Because of their high turnover I wish they would just clean the bathrooms more frequently.
