I stopped by this Ralph today on my way home to get some soda and beer for my party this weekend. I never been to this Ralph before so it was my first time here. I found parking easily but I can see how later in the day, it can get busy because it shares the plaza with other stores. When I walked inside, they kept the alcohol drinks near the entrance where the produce is. I found what I was looking for there and then went to the produce to get some tomatoes. After I got my tomatoes, I went to the soda aisle and got my drinks. Since I got alcohol, I went to pay at a cashier station and the cashier working today was very friendly. My experience here was great and I didn't have any issues.

I usually don't have issues with this store but I did today. I placed a fried chicken and dessert platter order online, well over 24 hours. They told me they didnt receive my order. They said they could make the chicken in 15 mins but couldn't do anything for the desserts. Horrible experience since it was for a family gathering. DON'T PLACE ONLINE ORDERS!!!

The only reason they are getting 2 rather than 1 star is due to the supervisor. They had pepsi products marked as $4.99, so my friends and I grabbed some. When we went to self checkout they came up twice that price, at 11.99 for a 12pk.

While I was totaling it out to see if at the end it would lower the price and out of nowhere is an older woman working self-checkout (her name is Maria) is next to me, with a tone like I was doing something bad. I asked Maria about the price, she instantly got attitude and said "did you not read the sign, or... It is clearly mobile app only?"

Maria then walked away to grab the ads and show me the weekly deals catalog. I responded that I did yes, and told her that the paper advertisement is not relevant to my complaint of improper signage. She refused to go look at the signs, and I know the Ralphs signage; at the time, the red mobile-only tag was not present.

After I had to ask over 6 times to speak to her supervisor, she walked off, and I finally got her to page management. She would have been fine and I wouldn't have written this if she dropped it and let the supervisor handle it. Maria chose to instead come and interrupt me while talking to her supervisor. I

In front of her supervisor, she said, " He doesn't know how to read clearly, it says right here. She continued to speak about me in Spanish, not knowing I knew Spanish and could understand her.

The manager ask Maria multiple times to stop, ¡Por favor! stop Maria. After being told to stop three times, Maria walked away, but before that I was looking for her name and she turned tapping her name card mockingly stating "My name is right here, go ahead I don't care, learn to read"

The supervisor at least tried to hide her unpleasant feelings towards me, but I did catch her rolling her eyes at me, but other than that the supervisor was ok. I will following up regarding the signage and on the status of Marias employment.

Place has gone downhill due to mismanagement. Deli section has stale old foods, 11-7 guarantee for chicken is on the sign but employees just say they dont know anything about that and won't cook anything new past 2pm.

Dudes smoking meth 3ft from the door, like all the time. place is never cleaned externally and smells like pee.

It's not the area, other supermarkets handle their stuff and take care of things around here.

You can see the employees are super frustrated because they get no support from management. Lots of great people there that I hope can find another ralphs that has their back because whoever runs this one doesn't care.

Somebody else I know and me have been coming to this particular Ralphs for the past twenty years with little complaint up until the last four or five years. For starters, I'd like to add that, last time I checked, most of the current employees have also been there for many years, and we have little complaint with them as well (Bertha in particular was a kind person): our issues isn't with the store or the employees, it's with the loiterers and some of the customers. For instance, we've been challenged to fights at least four times between us, one of the cases was with someone who appeared to be homeless, another case was with someone who appeared to just be released from being incarcerated (we believe he possibly may have had a weapon of some kind). In conclusion, we theorize that the bus/train station directly across the street is one reason for the excessive amount of low quality people.

I ve seen them come in and just stuff things into their backpacks and walk out like nothing. Not to mention the frequent fights and police being called to this area at all hours. No one will stop them, security is sometimes on cite but not enough to stay there the entire day. If you need something at late hours, just drive a few more minutes down the street to the other markets.

they only had one cashier, 8 people on line. they did open one mire register after a bit. This store really needs to be remodeled looks to old. I just went to this store, homeless people allover the entrance and in parking lot. Dirty store, wondering if local 770 or Kroger pays visits to stores to see if they are up to par. If they cant keep it clean or remodel it just close it. Manager should visit Vons down the street and ask that manager how does he keep the his store so prestine.

It is fine for general stuff and the prices are good. Average customer service and checkout. Fortunately, the self checkout this works great for grabbing an item of two on the way home as there is usually no wait. Free and plentiful free parking. Unfortunately, an absolute pain to navigate with a cart as the isles are filled with displays to the extent that only one cart can go at a time. So I never go here if I need to do enough shopping to need a cart as the nearby Vons is much nicer.

This is my favorite Ralphs to shop for my groceries, people are usually nice most of the time here, clerks are very nice and helpful, The meat counter has a variety of meats, the butcher, bakery, everyone, every area you find in this store are here to make sure you make your shopping experience worth your time.

For a supermarket in the middle of the homeless community, this Ralphs is ok. Not the cleanest, not the safest, but the employees are very nice and friendly. I had an issue with the digital coupons, (I dont know why they have to make them so hard to get on your phone)[maybe they hope you dont use them] but Jocelyn (Im sorry, I think that was her name) was so kind and patient, she took my phone and helped me get the coupon. Anyway, good experience.

I would give this zero. Its the worst Supermarket in the area. I only go there because its right down the street. I go if I need something fast but otherwise I shop elsewhere. I have a disability now thanks to old age and cancer. There were no carts. I needed a 24 pack of water. I thought maybe I would find a cart in the store but no such luck. So I had to carry the water. I was so mad. My leg damage from chemo was killing me. The young cashier didnt even bother to help. I said there werent any carts. Two younger workers stood at there watching and laughing. The awesome security guard came to my rescue and found me a cart. That could be the one check mark this dump gets. This security guard is the best one yet. They are always out of a lot of things. I have lived in Chatsworth for over 30 years and this Ralphs was so awesome. The staff greeted you and knew you. Then the strike happened and they were all gone. This Ralphs has become one of the worst supermarkets in the SFV.

This store needs better management, the deli department is always a mess with rude employees who are always missing so you have to look for them but sometimes they don t even show up to work. Yesterday I went to Ralph , I saw security pepper spray a customer, accusing him steals the beer, all the beer drop on the floor and breaks, the customer holding his eyes, painfully say I didn t steal the Beer, the security continue spray more pepper spray to his eyes, non humanity, and I find out that the customer didn t steal the beer, I told the manager I would never come back to this Ralph again, your security aggressively hurt customer, he also wear a gun, I don t feel safe here!

I called Ralphs in Chstsworth 4 times to place an order from the Deli. Twice I was transferred to that department and it rang for 10 minutes each time before I disconnected. I was disconnected another 2 times by staff picking up the phone, but not acknowledging the call. Decided to call Vons in Chatsworth. They have a menu that directly connected to their Deli. The phone was picked up in 30 seconds. When I was put on hold so their employee could get a pen and paper to take my order, which took 30 seconds, he apologized for me having to hold. My order was placed. The whole Vons call took 4 minutes. Bravo Vons. I recommend using Vons.

June 12 at 10pm I was assaulted by an older African American male security guard at by the self checkout trying to pay for my items he grabbed my arm and neck and pushed me hard took my drink off the register as I was attempting to put money in the slot the cashier walked me out with his arm around me saying I was going to be ok and then security guard pulls a taser on me and pepper spray this is after me showing him I did not have any items concealed on me or on my purse hes a bully

I hate this store. They are never ready to go when they open at 6am and Im always rushing cause I need to get to work. Their bakery selection wouldnt even feed kids in Africa and some employees are rude.

I had mistakenly posted photos of expired yogurt yesterday 11/23/2021 which had since been deleted. The photos were taken from RInaldi/Corbin location Ralphs. I was so upset that I posted without doing my due diligence after I typed Chatsworth Ralph in google. I deleted that review and I am writing this one. I should be more careful writing reviews. I have shopped at this Ralphs before and had no problems.

Ive shopped here for 11 years and wont be coming back. Ive always been polite and let attitude and rudeness from the employees slide in the past but this time Im done. Older Hispanic lady with black pony tail was rude as hell for no reason, and when I confronted her about it she continued to become even ruder. If I could give this store a zero star I would. Nine out of 10 times that I go in there the deli section always a line, the ticket machine has no paper, there seems to be about five employees working behind the counter but only one helping deli customers. Why is it that their work is more important then customer service?????? I will never return!

Thank you to Erik in the bakery for helping me today while looking for hamburger buns for a barbecue. He was very professional and helpful and represents the store well. And to the person who orders for your bread aisle, sesame seed buns are a staple. For goodness sake, remember to order them.

Wallet stolen here; last night around 7 PM Friday 4/24/2020 approached when I started to put my groceries away in my car by a gentleman saying he worked at the store He then stole my wallet out of my back area of my SUV while doing so. When I approached the manager he did not seem surprised at all and told me to make a police report and get back to him and they would review the tapes but when I came back with the police report he told me that the manager on Saturday mornings his boss has the key to review the tapes I really got the runaround she then didn t speak with me the next morning when I called and had an employee take the information. I think they need security at the store now. I ll have to find a new grocery store. If you are a single female please do not shop here.

They require you to check your backpacks at the front desk. I shouldnt have leave a $1k+ laptop as collateral to shop at your store or run the risk of bedbugs.

This Ralphs is the WORST!!! After you get pass the homeless to get in you then have to deal with not finding help. Careful with the produce not so fresh... You need to check the dates on the cheese and lunch meat. Now when you check out dont ask for cashback they charge you 50 cents. Very disappointed considering they are the closest store. I promise I will go out of my way not to go here.

Overall the service is pretty good, but lately employees seem disconnected. Yesterday I did a quick run for cat food and when I walked to the register the man was on his cellphone, no happy greeting, then he rang me up, the conveyor belt was wet, instead of him wiping it off he drug the box over the wetness, I was amazed that the effortless task to pick it up and place it over the water was not taken. I saw the next customer and he did the same, what ever happened to clean up on Isle 8 . Stock paper towels under the register so the employees have quick access to clean up.

I luv the manager DISCOUNTED idems in veg.and fruit, bakery goods and meats/ seafood. The WHOLE Staff-Crew at Chatsworth store are Great at their jobs and very well trained in customer service. The floor and store are clean and no merchandise on the floor (like at Vons-Chatsworth. I recommend this Ralphs to friends and family cause I trust the store to be stocked and ready to help those I send there. Thanks to those at my Chatsworth Ralphs. Mr Robert A Brown.

This is a pretty nice Ralphs: the store is clean and the overall decor is decent. Produce looks good here and they carry a nice selection of meats, dairy and typical items. Their liquor and wine selection is not bad and clearly has its own section apart from the rest of the market. Lines are not bad here considering the time of day (evening). I give it three stars because just about every time I come here, I have found the cashiers unfriendly and borderline rude.

I love..love LOVE this Ralphs. I have been going here for 4 years. Xalia Star is my music name. They know me as the fluorescent light sensitive lady. Anyway, i dont know everyones name by heart, unfortunately .Annabelle who closes is a doll. Alayna and Stacey, too. Appreciate that they helped me figure out which gift card i purchased was which, in regards to the right amount since I lost my receipt and didnt want to send family/friends the wrong gift cards. The girl who usually wears a bun on her head who sometimes closes is a doll, too. All the women seem nice. All the men are swethearts, too.

I have lived in Chatsworth lake manor all of my 50 years. On Nov. 8, 2018 I lost my home to a woodland fire that started in Wolsely cyn. To make matters much worse 7 days after the fire my vehicle broke down. I was stranded in Porter Ranch with nothing. I spent my last $150 to repair my car. I had no food the entire time I was stranded. On the way home I pulled into the parking lot. Looked up the number, swallowed my pride and called the store and asked to speak with the manager. I told. The person on the line my situation and that I had not eaten in 2 days. She invited me into the store and bought me dinner. With her own money. This speaks for itself as to the quality of the people who work here. The managers name was Blanca and she is an angle. Thank from my heart.

Low on stock and forced a search for product, clearly as a ploy to make customers the store, for impulse buys.
