Highly recommend the longanisa (sausage) bowl with garlic rice. It was absolute fire. I also enjoyed my pandan coffee lightly sweetened.

This place is packed and the wait was about 20 minutes on a Saturday brunch. Gave it a 4/5 because it is on a pricey side. Otherwise, the food and service were great.

Take Ur Seat Too is a beautifully decorated and carefully thought out restaurant! As a casual brunch spot, they do very well with making it bright, clean, and fun to come to.

The food is on another level, especially the Belly 2 Belly dish - delicious pork belly over rice with a poached egg and spinach. Also with in-house "Local Trade" coffee, you can't go wrong with any of their drinks. My favorite being the pandan flavor which isn't too sweet or too subtle, but adds just right to the medium roast bean they use.

I highly recommend coming to this location as it's much bigger and the wait is at tops 15 minutes. Everyone is so sweet and customer service is top tier. 😍

Tried their recommended dishes: Tip me Over, Belly 2 Belly, TUS fries and flavor of the month cloud pancakes! Their Tri Tip was pretty good cooked just right with great
chimichurri sauce! Belly 2 Belly wasn’t too greasy and fries have good taste of spiciness. Their flavor of the month was banana and jackfruit and the pancakes itself was not too sweet and very fluffy.

Overall, the foods are pretty good 👍

We sat at the patio and the leaves kept falling from the trees.

Great little brunch place! Loved the fluffy, cloud pancakes! The family had a couple of rice bowls, pork belly and curry, and those were delicious as well. The specialty lattes were not bad either. The service staff were attentive and were wonderful. It seems to be a popular place, so just expect a longer wait time, especially on the weekends.

Location: Hidden, Parking: Okay, Service: Okay, Food Presentation: needs work, Overall: after all the social media hype, I wanted to try this place and hope it lived up to the words of the people giving those recommendations. The place is small, and it did have a good crowd. I ordered coffee, which, even by military standards, was hard to choke down. My associate had to ask for water as she could not stomach it. We tried 2 dishes, and I tried the plate they are known for. I feel this dish may have been rushed as it did not taste fully cooked. I understand that some dishes may take up to 45 minutes, but don't push something out that isn't done. My comrade, on the other hand, seemed to like her breakfast sandwich and fries. Now, would I go back, yes, to try another creation and hope this brunch was a fluke. So for now 3 Stars...

I am so disappointed with the manager I dealt with today. I frequent Take Ur Seat often and am a loyal customer.

Apparently I placed a coffee order and the payment didn’t go through. This was last month. I didn’t know because I payed using Apple Pay and I was never notified and never received a call or a voicemail on the day that it happened.

I went in today to place a pick up order and they held making my order until I arrived and told me the wasn’t having his kitchen make it until I paid it. He said he called me but when I checked my phone he had called only 3 minutes before I arrived.

I think since over a month had passed and they didn’t try to call me once and especially on the day that it actually happened. they have my number because I did a mobile order, it shouldn’t be my responsibility. The manager should have made the executive decision to just move forward. But he didn’t. And I don’t mind paying but I feel like it was more about the principal to make it right. So he took my $23 payment for the coffee and lost a loyal customer that spends over $300 a year there and now my family will no longer go there and the same goes for them.

When we arrived we had to join the waitlist. The wait was not long. We got seated outside, which was fine with us since there was a heater by our table. We had their Belly 2 Belly Rice. It is so flavorful. The meat was crunchy. Yummy. W also had the Berry Good Cloud Pancakes. The pancakes are soft and fluffy. We love both dishes, as well as their Houjicha Latte. Servers were nice and friendly. We highly recommend this place.

Wow! This place is amazing! We waited about 35 minutes as they were pretty busy. I ordered the cloud berry pancakes, and they were pretty filling. I also ordered the spam musubi appetizer and had my husband try them for the very first time. My husband had the longanisa rice bowl. It looked simple but perfectly paired with the right ingredients. They have a sweet spicy sauce in a bottle, and that complimented his dish perfectly as well. My husband is a picky eater, and I was impressed to find out he liked everything. We will definitely be coming back and bringing our family to try this little gem.

Nice place for brunch here. Had their GOAT egg omelette and coffee here. But the true star of the show that day was the special pancake of the month, Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancake. Take one bite and youll want to be like Agnes from Despicable Me and scream out, Its so fluffy Im gonna die! This thing is unbelievably airy and has just the right amount of sweet and tartness. The staff at the location were super friendly and welcoming, and very helpful in recommending what to order. We had a good experience there.

The five star experience started as we walked in. The girl checking us in was in a really good mood even though they were really busy. Then, we only had to wait 5 min. That surprised me. The ambiance was perfect for breakfast. Really bright inside with natural light. Nice decor along with really good music in the background not too loud where we couldn t hear each other but also not soft enough to hear all the conversations around us. I ordered the Belly to Belly rice bowl and paid a few dollars extra for their fried rice in place of steamed rice. Was so much better than expected. My wife ordered the Longanisa Rice bowl which she said was awesome and my daughter ordered the Nutella French Toast which she loved. With the short wait time in the middle of breakfast time, the joyful service, good music and awesome food, give this 5star restaurant your breakfast needs, they will come through for you.

The service is too slow. We were waiting for 30 minutes to take the order, and another 30 minutes to get the food (hold the drink 30 minutes with no food). This is not ok for the breakfast. For food, Tip me over s steak is very dry. I never had this dry steak in my life. It s not worth $25. The sandwich is good. In all, even the store is very close to my house, I won t be there again. I thought it was good, but I am disappointed.

Its a small space, so it fills up quickly and will very likely always have a wait time. But the food is crazy good! I had the belly 2 belly plate and the flavor of the month cloud pancake (pandan) as well as a pandan matcha latte. Everything was delicious! We got our food relatively quickly, especially considering how busy they were that morning.

Cramped and always a wait, but I think this is the best brunch place in the area. Drinks are great and cloud pancakes are always heavenly. Just wish the topping on the pancakes were more proportional. We ended up ordering extra toppings to go with the pancakes. Servers are always very knowledgeable and helpful and we never felt rushed. They do discreetly give you a heads up near 90min mark

There were four people waiting for a seat including me. One person was scheduled to arrive late, so I asked for a seat after all three had gathered, but an employee wearing a black mask said they would give me a seat only if four people gathered, and that they could not give me a seat now. Of course, there were enough seats in the restaurant. I had already waited outside for about 30 minutes so I just hoped they would give me a seat. However, the staff wearing black masks said they could not give us seats because there were less than four people, so we were only able to get seats after saying that only three of us would go in. The black mask employee again asked if there were really three people, and she was very rude. As soon as I sat down at the table, what I saw was a sign that said guests could not sit for more than 90 minutes. We ordered some foods and Americano. Whats surprising is that the Americano was served in an old-looking plastic small cup provided at the food court. My friends and I were speechless. The coffee tasted terrible and the food came out very late. The coffee in the plastic cup had already cooled and its flavor had long since disappeared. It was a moment when the nearly $20 pancakes for breakfast and the $4 coffee cost became very worthless. Less than an hour later, they made us feel uncomfortable two or three times by offering to give us a leftover food to-go box, which made us very uncomfortable. We all felt pressured to leave the restaurant . So we left right there. As local residents who pass by there every day, my friends and I decided to never go there again.

Loud. Food is overpriced. We went Saturday December 1st, 2023. Sat outside as we had our pet dog with us. Forty eight minutes after I ordered my meal, waiter comes over to see how we re doing lol. I asked him where s my food? My wife had received her food within eight minutes of ordering. Then there s the pancakes they were okay, just at $9 for one, VERY overpriced. I mean there s this rice spinach & spam meal that shouldn t and doesn t cost much to make but these people overcharge you. We re coming back but not anytime soon. I d honestly go elsewhere if I was asked. I m here offering my opinion based on our unfortunate experience.

The wait time *early* on a Saturday morning was 1-2 hours, and there was no A/C. My party of 8 was eventually split into 2 tables of 4 each, and we sat outside where it was cooler. We asked if we could combine the tables, as we would not be in the way of other guests or wait staff, but our request was denied. We were seated right next to a bunch of piled dirty dishes and trash, so the atmosphere was definitely lacking. Onto the food - my bowl was so salty I could taste the individual granules of salt. I couldn t drink enough water to compensate. In the end, despite them splitting us into 2 separate tables, they still added the gratuity, as if we were combined. What a nice surprise this place is. From the minute you walk in. Felt like being on the Hawaiian islands for some reason. Employees were sweet and attentive. The music was good. Options to eat inside or out. My husband ordered the steak with chimichurri. He loved it. I mean LOVED IT. I ordered the avocado toast and 1 cloud pancake. The avocado toast was delicious. I didnt care for the pancake. It was nice to eat with the fruit though. I would like to sea more varieties of cold tea but we will be going back alot. I want to try the over night oats. Excited about this place. Love seeing the young people doing a fantastic job. Go visit and suport this restaurant.

The sweets are great. The look and taste are amazing. Unfortunately, I was not craving something sweet and ordered a salad with chicken and the house dressing. Big mistake, the vinaigrette was too bitter, and the salad ingredients did not complement each other, I tried but could not finish it. The service was good considering the place was packed. I would definitely look into fixing this places door because it is LOUD, and it totally ruins the whole mood.

Came here to dine at around 1 oclock on holiday. The store was very full but there was no need to wait for a seat. The waiter quickly seated us and ordered spicy fried chicken rice, kimchi rice and fluffy pancakes. I think the price of the waffles is on the high side, but the kimchi rice is delicious.

Very popular local brunch place worth stopping by. Tables have a 90 minute limit. We came Saturday morning at open and within half an hour the place was packed. Get here early if you can! Busy plaza with plenty of parking. Their speciality, the Japanese soufflé pancakes, are made to order and can take up to 30 minutes to make. So get that in first. Flavor of the month was lemon ricotta with blueberry. Very light and fluffy, the perfect balance of fruity and creamy. We also got the tip me over plate. The roast potatoes were good, tri tip on the chewy side for medium. Flavors were very strong. Overall the dish was okay, but for the price the soufflé pancakes were definitely more unique and worth it.

I wouldve put 4 or 5 stars but our server towards the end tried to rush us out. So we were told we had 90mins to stay and as we were finishing up. Our server told us our 90 mins is almost up basically rushing us to leave while 3 other tables from my observations were there before we got there and they were still there after we left. We were last to arrive and first to leave (rushed out basically). Although, the food was delicious.

My boyfriend and I ordered the Berry Good cloud pancakes and the big 5 plate. Our food as amazing. My favorite part was the sausage it was very juicy and sweet. Our server was very pleasant. Very neat restaurant.

First time here this past weekend. We did the breakfast sandwich, flavor of the month cloud pancake and the creme brulee French toast. Service was great. Food was very yummy. Wish they did brunch alcohol drinks at this location (Chino). Other than that, everything was good.

Wonderful experience and worth the hour wait. Yes an hour wait ... but its a cozy place with fluffy yummy Pancakes of course there will be a wait. Check in with Yelp which will help your wait time as we had a party of 3. Staff was very quick on seating rotation, once customers were done eating they would immediately clean the table and seat the next group. Food was scrumptious. See photos for recommendations. Introduced this spot to friends! It s cute inside and with good French toast! This spot is in a plaza. Parking might be hard during peak hours. No reservations. You have to go there. Wait time could be 40 min-1.5 hours. Join the waitlist! Crème brûlée French toast- MUST GET! No questions asked unless you re allergic but get it! Soufflé pancakes- they have fruits, whip cream, and their berry compote. You can assemble them together. It takes 20-30 min for this dish to come out. Belly 2 belly rice- the pork was good. Enough flavor. Their spinach Is just bunched up to the side and it s cold. Spam musubi - simple and classic dish. Fries- very crispy! I wish they put more flavor on it. Kimchi fried rice omelet - It was bigger than I expected. Their potatoes are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We were a party of 6. When we got the bill, they gave us 1 small cookie. It was awkward since we didn t know if they were going to give us more or if that was it. We left the cookie on the table since 6 people can t share a tiny cookie.

Take Ur Seat in Chino Hills is a popular brunch spot, with quite a few Filipino inspired dishes. As a person of Filipino descent, I had to check it out and support my people! We took a few of our friends for brunch when they were in town, and after a 30-45 min wait on a Saturday morning, the 5 of us were seated. I ordered the Big Five plate ($16.00) and the Belly2Belly Rice plate ($12.00). Big Five plate had longanisa (Filipino sausage), bacon, eggs, and potatoes. The Belly2Belly Rice plate was pork belly over fried rice. Both were good dishes - very savory and filling. If we go back, I will definitely be trying their seasonal fluffy pancakes (ube or pandan)!

Really yummy breakfast spot! You can sit down, I think there s often a wait on weekends but we only waited like 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. You can also walk up to the counter and get coffee or food to go! Overall a little pricey for what you get but the food and coffee were good.

Great food definitely coming back. The cloud pancakes were good, a little eggy but that s to be expected for cloud pancakes. The syrup and berry toppings mask the eggy flavor so you only notice it if you try it without the sauces. I probably would only get it again if I wanted to have a special flavor of the month. Crème brûlée French toast was delicious, very sweet and the cream balances it well. The bowls were amazing and they have a large selection of sides as well if you can t decide what meat you want to have. (Like the two people who wanted their bowls but couldn t forgo the longanisa.) Recommend substituting the rice for garlic rice and feel free to ask for vinegar to help cut and balance the fattiness of the meats (longanisa). Of note, on weekends it s a walk-in waitlist, you can t make a reservation ahead online.

The food was pretty good but portion wise is small for how much you paid. I got the Big 5 (shown in photo) which was $18. For that price, honestly couldnt justify coming again for the food. The wait time is also pretty long to enter the restaurant and the food takes about 20-30min to come out, so dont come here too hungry. Other than those complaints, the food quality was pretty good

Overall food was okay. I was expecting more given the overwhelming near 5 star reviews. Definitely recommend using Yelp wait list to reserve your table. Place is a little cramped but waiters are nice and efficient. Drip coffee was not to my taste :/ Go with a latte instead.

Great place to get brunch. Theyre popular, make sure to get on the waitlist on Yelp! Food options are great. Expensive though, so definitely not something that you could visit often. But hey, its your money, you decide whether you wanna come here often or not. Their cloud pancake is eggy, I guess they just use lots of eggs. Their garlic rice is also great, though a bit oily. Anyway, tried different foods from here, and all of them have not disappointed me.

We love this place. They never disappoint. We had the belly 2 belly rice, tip me over plate, and the flavor of the month cloud pancake (white chocolate raspberry ). Everything was excellent. The service was great. Everyone does everything with a big genuine smile I highly recommend this place. Id encourage adding yourself to the wait list online if available this place is usually very busy

I had a party of 5 with me and we decided to eat here for breakfast. Everyone was very nice and the decors looked very clean and fresh. All the drinks were good and the food was great as well. I had the crème brûlée French toast. Everyone ordered something different and we all had a taste of everything. All and all we really enjoyed the food. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star review is the amount of time it took to get our drinks and food. It was not very busy and when out lattes came out two of them were just room temp and the other 3 were very hot, they also refused to take the warm drinks back and heat them up. Then when the food came out they only brought two of the dishes and we waited a good solid 7 mins before the other three dishes came out. If they could have everything out at the same time and right temp I would have given 5 stars. By the time we left the wait was long. If you don t come earlier I could see having to wait 25-40 mins for a table. Especially considering the amount of time it take to get your food. Go ahead and give them a try. These are easy fixes. Food was great tasting

Worst customer service possible. Ride manager and host. Been coming here for a while.. my daughter made a reservation online and we came, they claim that she lied and never made a reservation. This for her birthday. Instead of checking they decide to accuse and be rude. Their success had gotten to their head to be rude and proud. No more the good service as before. Horrible. I will never come again to be treated like this.

Food is very greasy and oily. The pork belly rice is good for a few bites then the oil and fat is too much. The kimchi rice uses Portuguese sausage and the oil overtakes the rice and dish.

I m from Seattle and this was hands down the BEST brunch spot I ve ever experienced. I had the kimchi fried rice w/extra poached egg as my main dish, but you must must also get their crème brûlée French toast. I don t typically enjoy French toast, but this one was out of this world!!! Hope to come visit again to try their seasonal cloud pancakes.

Ever since my first time at this joint around the same time they first opened their doors, they have done me & my guests right. The founders clearly had a vision to provide great hospitality, a welcoming environment, and enjoyable food. I try to come once a month to try their NEW Flavor of the Month Cloud Pancakes along w/ a Local Coffee (their coffee is a must). Wether I m Dining In or Taking Out, they don t miss and that s what I love about this gem.

This was our second time here and I again ordered the kimchi fried rice omelet and thoroughly enjoyed it. She ordered the breakfast sandwich and very much liked what she got. To drink, I had their cold brew coffee, which was nice and strong, and she had an iced Mexican sidecar which was delicious. Staff was welcoming, polite, and attentive. Well definitely be back!

Incredible spot to have breakfast or brunch. Theres a reason why you always have to wait an hour to get seated. Everyone who works here has great energy even though you can tell theyve got a million things to do at all times. I went with my fiancee and we each ordered two things from the menu and they were all amazing, not to mention the prices were very fair, especially for our time of inflated food. The cookie butter latte is so good. I highly recommend trying it with oat milk. If youre willing to wait the extra time to get a table, this place is a must.

Ridiculously delicious ube cloud pancakes! The texture of the pancake is soft and fluffy with just the right amount of sweet. Beef rendang with garlic rice is to die for. Super tender beef curry and perfectly seasoned garlic rice. Perfectly seared steak: tender and juicy. Deelish!

Great service.... not gonna lie we almost 1hour to be seated and ibwas disappointed with the smell that came from the cloud cream cheese pancakes.... we could even eat after ...a raw egg sent was strong.... we took one bite... I literally napkin the food back out my mouth.... .. every time the wind blew. When I moved to the area, I had a friend who kept talking about this place. It took me a while to go, but finally one day when we had a day off from work, we went. This place is SO CUTE. There are both individual and group seating areas. We were sat in a group seating table, but they did space us from the other couple so it didnt feel smushed or intrusive. We ordered the creme brulee french toast, the curry bowl, and the tri-tip plate for food, along with a drip coffee and a cookie butter latte. Everything was delicious. I went for the French toast, thats what my friend kept talking about. You know when something is hyped up for you so your expectations are crazy high when you finally encounter whatever that thing is, and then youre let down because the hype was greater than the actual thing? Okay let me just tell you...the French toast COMPLETELY lived up to the hype. The creme brulee french toast was PHENOMENAL. You get 6 pieces (which i was glad for because its $14 for some bread), and they are thick and fluffy pieces of deliciousness with creme brulee cream and house made whipped cream, and the tops of the bread are bruleed so you get a satisfying little crack when you go to cut it. Our first experience was dine in. Ive been back twice already for take out. If youre going to dine in and dont get there immediately when they open, expect a wait. There is a table sit time of 90 minutes so at least they regulate it, but just be ware, the place isnt that big but its popular, and for good reason. Weve also tried the oats and spam musubi since and everything is super yummy. Their coffees arent very sweet, so if you like Uber sweet coffee, this probably isnt the place for you (or you can just add sugar to the coffee), but it IS pretty yummy coffee. The flavors are smooth and we both enjoyed what we had.

Brief, but Mothers Day is expected to be busy for any place to dine. Wait time even for take out was a little long, but the food was good and Wife was happy and content. Reserving thoughts on next visit on a not so busy day. The creme brulee french toast definitely recommend.

I found this place on TikTok and the reviews were very high. People raved about the puffy pancakes, and the creme brulee French toast; they also talked highly about the pork belly with rice. We arrived at 8:40am and there was already a wait. They did have you sign up on a wait list which was helpful within 30 minutes the wait list alerted us that we were 1st on the list, I went to check in but was told that we were 1st on the list to be the next person seated so we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for an Open Table. The staff was very friendly and nice and professional. We ordered the cream brulee French toast, the puffy pancakes, pork belly rice bowl, the hot chicken rice bowl and the big 5 which had bacon sausage eggs and fried potatoes. The pancakes are an acquired taste they do not taste anything like a regular pancake. The pancakes were under cooked they were still slightly raw and runny on the inside even though these are a souffle pancake they still should have had a little more sponginess to them. We were super hungry so we basically just scraped the cooked part off the top and left the inside that was more mushy on the plate. The pancakes have a smell to them that is very unique and kind of off putting they were lacking in any type of sweetness somewhat plain and a dough like taste. The cream brulee French toast was pretty good. The pork belly rice bowl was OK the pork belly was cooked nice and crispy everything else lacked a little bit of flavor. Scrambled eggs are terrible they come runny and I dont even believe that they are actually real scrambled eggs I think they are scrambled eggs substitute. My husband did not like the sausage that came on the big 5 plate. The chicken bowel was OK but just average nothing spectacular or special. The coffee we ordered was OK. Overall I would rate this place a 5/10 for service and food presentation. I think its a little hyped up to be honest. The price for everything was a $150.00.
