Boiling Point is the leading provider of Taiwanese Hot Soup with a specialty in individualized portions made with the freshest ingredients possible. Though the concept of our soups originated in Taiwan, we have since expanded our menu to include international flavors in hopes of introducing our food to a wider audience. Our menu also features a variety of appetizers, drinks, and desserts.
This is the Chino Hills outlet of the hotpot chain restaurant Boiling Point. Their selling point is that you get your own pot of their favorite stews with set of toppings such as beef or lamb and also Korean, Taiwanese or Thai soup bases. You are also asked what level of spiciness you desire. Medium is plenty spicy so be aware if you choose more spicy levels. They have lunch set menu which is a dollar less than dinner and they give you a choice of green tea or winter melon tea. Their four sauces on the table are quite decent. I like their green pepper chili sauce. You can add extra meats and other toppings with extra dollars. It’s an efficient and simple dining experience for those of you who like Asian spicy flavors. Parking is plenty in the strip mall.

Came in after a late public hearing in Pomona and we’re lucky this place was still open. We walked in about 25 minutes before they closed at 11 PM. We noticed the restaurant signage on the building was out so we almost missed the suite. We were seated right away- probably 3 other tables in there with patrons. One of my favorite Taiwanese hot pot restaurant. The menus are on the end of the tables on a pull-cord. Pull and scan and I appreciate the card was not sticky. Got waters right away while we were looking at the menu. Not our first time at a Boiling Point so we knew what we wanted. Husband got Milk Cream Curry and I got the Beef. Probably got our orders within 5 minutes after ordering. My favorite dipping sauce is the Garlic Soy - there are a total of 4 sauces labeled in both English and what I presume to be Chinese.
My beef soup had a very generous serving of beef and it was very good quality- you could taste it in the meat. I ordered my soup with rice and husband got noodles which comes packaged separately for you to drop into your soup and cook. All the vegetables were so good when they were cooked in the soup- even the corn.
They did a last call at 11 PM which was nice because most restaurants do it 10 to 15 minutes before they close. We didn’t get anything else but they were nice enough to fill up our waters for us and turned off our burners upon request. When they dropped off the check they also gave us the Lemon jelly snack.
Overall I liked the cleanliness of the restaurant and was extremely pleased with the service we got even though it was right around closing. We walked out around 11:10 and did not feel rushed to finish and leave.

With the weather getting colder, we decided to visit Boiling Point, which specializes in Taiwanese hot soup.
We went with the most popular dish and ordered the beef hot soup with medium heat. We also ordered a side of veggies and white rice.
Temperature wise, the soup comes out hot and stays hot. The spice level was just right and had my nose running at times. It had lots of veggies, mushrooms, thinly sliced beef, fish cake, thin noodles - there was a lot in that bowl. The broth was also good, and the staff would add more as requested. The veggies were also good, esp with the rice and some of the garlic chilli sauce sitting on every table. That garlic chili sauce would be good on just about anything.
The restaurant itself is small and kind of cold, but it heats up once soup hits your lips. One recommendation — maybe lower the music volume a bit. It wasn't bad, just kinda loud.
Prices are fair and staff were friendly and attentive.

Very average dining experience.
Even though there are multiple soup bases to choose from, the amount of food was clearly less than when Boiling Point first started.
The decent part is that the restaurant is clean and has a good amount of service staffs working the floors.
Flavor wise I prefer Pop Pot in Diamond Bar. The portion is bigger and pricing is better.

Probably 4.2-4.4 ⭐. Service is okay but don't expect too much because it has 1-2 trainee on the board. Lunch specials are good with a small black or green tea for free. The food is excellent, and House Special, Lamb, and Milk Cream Curry definitely must try in my opinion. Come back as usual if I am not willing to try other Taiwanese hot pot places.

We wait 10 minutes to get a table we have a baby on the car seat they let us seat at the booth then they said we cannot put the car seat next to the table what should we do the table is very small it would not fit for the car seat. And they have another table that have more space but they didn't say anything. Just say can't put car seat here. We decided to leave they still just looked at us don't help don't say any sorry. bad service Don't do that with the parent they have kids or people on the wheelchair. I appreciate that your restaurant is too small, but the service needs to be improved. Bad service

Can’t say anything about the food, they’re real good. Best time to be here is past 2pm where there’s not too many people, no long waiting time and not crowded. Service was a bit off, asked for water but didn’t get it. Also we have to wait like 5 minutes to get their attention for our bill when the place was half empty. But would definitely be back.

We ordered some more green, they re not very fresh, but there is no 4.5 stars so I would just leave 5 🌟 😅 The fermented stinky tofu is good too 🙂

Management needs to step up at this location. My boyfriend and I waited about 20 min before getting seated and once we sat down, we noticed only two servers were helping out even in a full house. Sometimes there would be three but they wouldn’t stay for too long. As a manager your job is to help your staff, not leave them during peak times. The food was good and the service was alright considering they were busy with everything else. Other Boiling Points we’ve eaten at have all had a decent amount of people working but this location is really lacking…

Delicious food at a reasonable price. I enjoy the beef hot soup. It has a variety of yummy ingredients. The tofu skin is a must, just like the rest of the add ons. They're very convenient when you want to add a little extra.
Service can be quick depending on when & what time you decide to dine.
I would totally recommend 👌

Every time I come to this restaurant, the staff is so kind and friendly! They take your order immediately, bring water as soon as you sit down and always ask if there’s anything they can do for us. My friends and I enjoy coming here!! It’s sort of small but there are about 15-20 tables that are near each other and can sit parties from 1-6! Or even larger if tables are combined. My friend got the miso one and I ordered the house special! We loved our time here!

Been here a few times. But today would be the last time. I understand that there is always a wait time because this place is always crowded. Today is also crowded but is not as busy as other times I went here. I feel like the staff purposely ignore me. I already waited 30 minutes, before I got seated so when I check in I was ready to order. But the employee working there ignores us. We waited like 20 minutes still no one come to our table so we have to go to the register to order our food. Some tables came in after us already gotten their hot pot while we still haven't received our water. I feel disappointed because many other times this place is busier and I still got better service than this.

Typically we like to do hot pot at home, but in order to get the variety of ingredients that we want it requires a fair amount of people to be present. Boiling Point allows you to have the variety of ingredients you desire without having to go through the hassle of going to the grocery store, washing all the ingredients, and cleaning the mess after. In other words, it’s convenient and we don’t feel like we have to eat our money's worth like we would at an AYCE establishment. Their portions are quite filling and they offer a variety of preset hot pots. We have ordered numerous different kinds of hot pots at different locations and have not been disappointed.

I've been to this Boiling Point several times over the years (since 2017?) and I've never had an issue with service. No idea what others are talking about.
That being said, unless you're there right when it opens or during irregular times, you'll probably be in a long wait (~1 hr).
Food is always good though and portions are generally decent.

They are currently open for take out. I think they recently reopened their patio for limited outdoor dining but they aren't allowed to add fire to your pots. All staff members are wearing masks. They have a mobile app where you can earn reward points that can be redeemed for free food and or drinks. If I'm in the area, I will call in to place a to go order. If not, I'll order through a food delivery service.
They have a variety of set pots to pick from. You get to choose a spiciness level of none, mild, medium, spicy, or extra spicy. You also have a choice of rice or vermicelli. Then you can choose to add on sides for an additional cost. The beef pot is my favorite. I opt for mild spicy. My bf likes medium but sometimes the medium is noticeably more spicy than usual. My favorite add on sides are the fried tofu skin and fish tofu. If you order during lunch, you get a free small green tea or black tea. It comes sweetened and they don't give you the option to adjust the sweetness. I usually order their honey green milk tea and their lychee green tea.
When picking up your order, make sure to check if your order is right before leaving! Unfortunately, they tend to mess up on an order here and there. In the past few months, I feel like my drink orders have been messed up almost every other time.

I came to this location yesterday, Thursday the 16th expecting to have a nice dinner with my friends. Paul was my server. It was supposed to be 5 of us, but one of my friends brought his friend, so it became 6 people in total. 2 of us came at 5:45pm to get a table first and then the rest came in later, about 6pm, because of traffic. Paul kept threatening me that he’s going to take one of our tables away while we were waiting for our friends. Then, 4 of my friends came in about 15min later and I already started eating before they came. Paul came to our table and blamed us that we could not have an extra person after telling them it’s 5 people. He also told us that we could not have the table for more than 1 hour and 30 min, he said it’s the policy. While he was at our table, I asked him to turn off the flame and he ignored it. He was kinda angry and confronting back and forth to me during our dinner. We were so mad at him, but we were trying to stay calm to respect other customers. It was our first time having dinner together and Paul ruined our dinner. I will never come back here and absolutely WILL NOT recommend this place to my friends. I would give a zero star if I could. I hope Paul will see this message.

Paul was the worst of the worst servers I have ever met in my entire life. My party was 6 people with 1 child sitting at the table for 6. We were trying to fit in and waiting for our friends to come, but Paul kept telling us that they could not let us having our friends coming later. At the same time, they let a party of just 1 person having a 4-people table. Paul was so rude to us and then later he said sorry to one of my friends. He ruined our dinner. I would give a negative star if I could.

I also ordered a side order of beef shank, I was hungry in a short 3 hours afterwards. The ice water cup was tiny and no ice in it. The music was overly loud for this small restaurant. Consider how little you get, the perceive value is low.
