Pleasant staff, fresh baked goods, plus they sell a variety of tamales. Ask about prices, ‘cuz they’re not listed. Molletes are my favorite pastry, but the ones here aren’t as generous with the icing as I’m used to elsewhere. Chicken tamales: not as good as the ones I make at home with the broth of ancho chiles, but acceptable. Besides taste, you should evaluate tamales by the meat-to-dough ratio… the tamales I bought here had about 40% meat, which is acceptable, though the tail of the tamale (about 2 inches) was dough only. Tamale vendors focus on this ratio because meat is pricey and dough is cheap. At $2.25/tamale here, I would expect a 50-50 ratio at least, especially if it’s chicken, with the meat spread through the tail of the tamale.

This once family favorite has gone through a renovation. While the appearance is very clean and sterile, the staff is cold and cuts you off mid sentence. Personally, I prefer a little dusty and a few broken display handles than dry dusty service.

No freshness will be found here. They sell the sweet bread until it is gone.
I used to love this location, but it has gotten so bad.
They also change the prices each cashier makes up their own price.

I liked it. They were yummy. I've lived in chino over 20 years & I finally went. It hit the spot! I've read some of the reviews. If they close early it's because they're out of product, or
equipment repairs. Definitely going back.

Soma of the best Mexican sweet bread anywhere around! The customer service is wonderful also, particularly the older lady. She is very corteous and jovial. Having a chocolate concha on Sunday evening is the greatest way to wind down and close the week!

If they open early they have to have freshly baked bread and today, Thursday, I went at 4:22 in the morning and the bread was old from the day before.

Be very careful with what they charge you, my mistake for not asking for my receipt ended up charging me more than the amount the lady told me, how sad that they get burned for so little!

The lady has a very bad attitude, there was one hour left before closing and she was mopping at the entrance and wouldnt let customers enter until the floor was dry! Bad service We went again and my mother-in-law wanted a chicken tamale and the lady said she just couldnt figure out where the tamales are and she wont be able to get in because its wet. What a horror, lady, she cleans herself after it closes!!!

Guadalajara Bakery has the pan dulce Ive ever eaten; and Ive been eating a lot of pan dulce in my lifetime. I dont know why I havent been to Guadalajara Bakery to get some pan dulce. Stopped by on a Saturday morning/afternoon around 1145am and they still had a great selection of pan dulce. The pan dulce is very fresh, soft and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely come back earlier next time to get some champurrado to go along with my pan dulce.

Awesome home made breakfast burritos here but they need to have better rotation on their sweet Mexican bread some of it is a day old stale bread plus they can get better coffee If I owned this place I would focus on fresh bread and better coffee then you would see probably lines out the door

My Father-in-law who is from Michoacan absolutely loves the pan from this place. He lives in El Monte and says this is the best pan hes ever had. Yesterday before I took him home from a visit at my house in Chino we had to stop so he could buy $26 worth of pan to take home. My Father-in-law says its the best pan hes ever had and that is high praise coming from him!
