The corn soup was the best part, but that's because I'm plain and simple like that. I'm sure all of their other food was good too, even though I didn't personally enjoy it. The crepe was too sweet (it's the raspberry sauce they put on top).

I ordered over medium eggs. They came out very wet and runny. The manager came over to me and said they are over medium you want well-done and I said no I just want my whites cooked and have yoke. The yolk was fully cooked like hard boiled was hungry so didn’t feel like sending back again, toast was burnt ask for butter when ordered they brought butter 10 mins after it had been on table
So was cold. So $16.99 for bacon and eggs waste of money and manager horrible here.

Went for breakfast and the food was great. Our server (Jose) was polite and wonderful. Our order was correct and quick. He gave us refills when needed and checked on us to be sure we were fine but he was not overbearing. He took our to go order and packaged everything up for us. We will be back for dinner. This was the Mimi’s Cafe I remember and enjoyed in the past.

A nice family restaurant for the weekend. We've been here several times. They serve nice brunches, and the regular lunch and dinner meals. The decorations exterior and interior make you feel like being in the french vibe.

Good food and great service. The staff are all friendly. Good place for a big party. The hibachi salmon entree is excellent. My chicken parmesan is not tender enough but the sauce and pasta is fine. Overall, we had a good time there.

Never coming back to this place. Zero stars for service. Kept us and a whole line of people getting takeout with appointments for pickup waiting over 40 minutes. Kept moving us around because we were in their way. Their mediocre food isn't worth it. Lesson learned. Don't tip in advance.

The food was ok. Not a lot of ingredients, which stood out since everything was on the pricier side. The omelets I ordered was somewhat bland, I had to rely on hot sauce and the potatoes to spruce it up. My wife ordered the toast, which was ok, nothing special. The worst part was food safety and health issue. Once we came back home, my wife started having sore throat, and now the whole family is sick. We haven’t gone out the whole week, and this was the only place. I suspect someone in the kitchen was sick and decided to show up to work.

So I had bad service when I eat here so I told myself I wouldn't tip for that reason and they still charged my card for a tip when I didn't want to cause of the bad service. They took their tip when I clearly wrote on the receipt the amount I wanted to pay clearly they just take their tips when they want not good I will never be returning here.

Simple comfort food at its finest.

I remember my elementary school had an outing at mimis cafe because our class read the most books so the teacher took us to mimis for lunch. Best childhood memory ever.

Came back years later as an adult and food and service is still amazing. Loved my cobb salad.

I ordered the French Pot Roast.. It was terrible. From the presentation to the taste.. It was more like a Goulash with bits of shredded beef.. Tasted stale.. I returned it and they suggested the Regular Pot Roast. I tried that, it was just as bad or worse.
Potatoes Au gratin and grilled spinach very grease.
I’m usually accepting even if I don’t really care for something but this time I had to speak up. Not worth the $21.99 totally over priced..

Pretty disappointed in Mimi’s Cafe in Chino. longtime customer here (+10years). I asked today if I could post a flyer for a gig my band has. the manager said no. I was stunned. yea, he has final decision, but what an awful decision. Way to piss off your longtime, repeat customer. There is such a thing as reciprocity, “I scratch your back, you scratch mine”. Will seriously need to reevaluate how often I go to this restaurant.

We love this place. It's our go-to Friday breakfast after we drop the kids off to school. The wait staff literally are the best! Great coffee selections. But stick to the lunch and breakfast and lunch menus that's what they are good for .

The young lady host posted at the front door had the most miserable countenance and does not greet guests upon arrival. The worst customer service. I guess customer service is gone. Did not greet, just asked us “For how many ?” The waffles were cold underneath for both orders. The food seemed rushed. Cold waffles. Other “unhygienic unsightly” strange things were observed at this location. They need secret clientele from all walks of life to see the ridiculous that is counted as “service” these days.

We had a very good brunch at Mimi’s Cafe and we were attended by a very attentive and very cheerful server named Nancy. She made sure that she checked on us very frequently and made sure that we enjoyed the food served. I also observed how lovingly she interacted with the other table full of senior citizens . Overall, wonderful experience. Nancy is the best!

I love going to Mimis for breakfast, I normally go to Rancho Cucamonga but I went to see a friend in Chino and we decided to go there. The waiter rushed us through our order and never came to our table to ask if we needed anything else, my friend had to get up to order a drink for me, later we wanted to order more but the waiter never came so again my friend had to get up to ask for the menu. They gave a dirty glass to my friend and a hair came out in my food. After finishing our food and drinks we stayed talking for a while, the waiter came and asked us if we were going to order more or what. Even though I love the food at the Mimis restaurant chain, I definitely won't go back to Mimis in Chino.

My wife had the Spinach and Brie Omelet with a side of fruit. I had the Monte Cristo with roasted potatoes. Except for the way they now make the

What has happened to the quality of food and experience of Mimi’s of long ago? The best I can say is the coffee is delicious and the server Brittany was super sweet. The food however was terrible, awful, flavorless and nothing like the menu. After complaining, management offered new plates which is appreciated but I’m not sure I will be trying this location again. From a 20-year customer of Mimi’s everywhere. Disappointing!

Food was disgusting, inside of the building was filthy. The furniture was sticky, the atmosphere was nothing like Mimi’s used to be, and now it’s very expensive. I told the employee I wanted my scrambled eggs well done, and yet he messed it up. Twice. I’m only giving one star because I can’t give 0 stars.

Food: Average! it is American food, can not say taste of French as they claim, nothing taste of French... just 2-3 items has name that make you feel Frenchie like Onion soup, crepe... but not french taste. I was a bit disappointed on food since I expected something French there.

Crab Cake benedict was ok,food was served when it was hot that is what I really liked.

Creme brulee : the plan layer was creamy not too bad but the toping sugar glaze was too thick and hard to chew, I could not eat it.

Nice ambiance with rustic design. It would be great if they play some french music to enhance the ambiance instead of Taylor S that make you feel like you was in a casual sport bar.

Server: Vanessa who served our table was very nice and helpful. She had bright smile always when serving us and table near us.

I don't remember the last time I had been to a Mimi's. Although I had always enjoyed it in the past, it had been awhile and I wasn't sure what to expect.
We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our server was great and the food was amazing! Looking forward to their seasonal Monte Cristo's, we will definitely be back!

I just felt, that a couple pancakes eggs and sausage were $17.99. you can get that everywhere for a little less money. And this was considered a off menu breakfast combo. And we were told, how much it would be. I understand about the omelets dishes. Little bit more involved in making omelettes. But the food was definitely good. I ordered chicken and waffles. The child size portion of flattened chicken was a joke! It was like they took two kid chicken nuggets and flattened them out to make 3 super small portions. The quality of food has definitely gone down the tube, except for the muffin. Ww were not disappointed with the muffins.

Why would they get rid of one of their most popular items??? It appears that the out of touch corporate bean counters have taken over and are running the place into the ground!🤔☹

Usually we celebrate thanksgiving at this restaurant, every time has been a pleasant experience ,but yesterday was terrible.., our server was really rude,she was rushing us & it wasn't busy as other years we have gone.
She literally got the one of the plates wrong & then dumped all 3 courses at once we noticed that other tables were getting that treatment..,we took our dinner in 20 minutes because she was in hurry. This years menu was falsely advertising turkey white or black meat but this time they put on my plate "turkey ham" they never apologized or said we have to sub because they ran out they just server us assuming that was okay & this is not ok at all.
Needless to say Mimis ruined what would've been a good dinner.

Este lugar lo he visitado varías veces, pero esta vez me fui muy decepcionada, ya que me toco una mesera, que solo una vez se dirijo hacia nosotros, de allí jamás volvió, enseguida llegaron 2 personas blancas, y a ellas las atendió les llevo sus bebidas y a nuestra mesa jamás volvió más a acercarse, al poco rato se acercó un mesero hispano y el nos dijo que nos iba a atender ya que, a el no le tocaba esa área y decidió hacerlo, ya que se había dado cuenta que la mesera nos deja así, entonces eso me pareció excelente, pero realmente no me gustó que esa mujer, se ponga a ver a quien quiere atender y a quién no, el mesero, siempre fue muy amable. Pero esa mesera casi me arruina mi día, si por mi fuera les daría 5 estrellas, pero solo se las merece el mesero que nos atendió, ya que esa mesera con rasgos asiáticos con sus trenzas, por poco nos deja sin comer, no debe importar, la raza o los rasgos, debes salir de casa y optar por ser los mejor en todo, entonces cuál es el sentido de la vida. Menos preciar a alguien, por su color o su raza, porque dejamos de ser seres humanos, quizá no entiendan el sentido de la vida, van sin rumbo y por eso actúan así.

What happened to this place? We came in on a sunday for breakfast with family from out of town. The server ignored us and placed our order the way he wanted. We had to keep asking for all the condiments, the potatoes were undercooked and everything was Cold. To top it all off, they no longer accept AAA card for membership discount. Just plain BAD from A to Z. Needless to say that we will not be back.

The whole mother's day dining experience was terrible. We called and made a reservation for 530 and arrived at that time, they could not find our reservation but was no issue since it was practically empty inside. Our waiter "Noah" was either a new server or just in general a terrible one. He took our order and got half of it wrong. He brought out 2 of 3 salads, never bringing the 3rd until we had to ask for it and he got one of the dressings incorrect. He also brought out 2 of the 3 entrees, we had to ask for the 3rd one to be brought out when he came to check on us(it was jst a soup). He then refilled our drinks with the incorrect drinks. Also, the "white peach tea" is just regular tea with syrup(which was a .70 extra charge on top of the tea price listed). 10/10 would not recommend. :(

I have always loved Mimis Cafe for breakfast.

French toast, pancakes, omelets. Healthy or less healthy, but tasty choices etc etc.

Unfortunately, I must say that Mimis is not what it was 10 or 20 years ago.

Gone is the free french bread or the sliced carrot loaf that was always a customer favorite and the first thing brought to the table.

The muffins are now oversized but less quality and less choice.

The unique Mimis "New Orleans style" cozy charm has gone; replaced by a more bland diner image.

Fortunately, the breakfast is still decent, but Mimis have forgotten what made them loved so much, by so many, in the beginning.

Great place to celebrate holidays with the family. They offer holiday special 3 course meals. I posted a photo of the lava cake.
