Very delicious pancakes and fresh/ripe fruit is served.
Refill was not offered once sitting(unsure if offered on drinks) ketchup and salsa needs to be asked for and can be a bit of a back and forth. EDIT: A bit pricey, definitely a once and a while place to eat.

Friendsgiving Breakfast Outing! I heard this place was wonderful but nah it wasn’t. Everything about this place was just mediocre. Before getting in line to order make sure you’ve looked over the menu. Once you’ve made your way to the cashier you place your order and pay upfront. This place does get packed. After paying look around for seating. Lot of the tables will be dirty from previous customers. Sit down anyway and someone will eventually come over and clean the table. I don’t know, everything just seemed messy and to tight. The inside seating was to close for my comfort. I should have sat outside. Anywho I’ll never visit here again.

The service was excellent. The biscuits and gravy I had were great. The clam chatter, however, was super watery and the bacon was not cooked so there were raw pieces of fat in the soup. Otherwise a good overall experience

LOVE Avocado House! So many delicious and healthy options in a clean park-like setting. Love the outdoor seating options on the porch and backyard garden of this renovated old home. If it's rainy, the inside is warm and cozy. It always feels like everyone is welcome and there's something for everyone. Check out their menu! Some of our favorites: Breakfast burritos, buckwheat pancakes, avocado toast with eggs, reuben sandwiches, fresh salads, and they serve great teas and fresh brewed coffee. As I wrote in G review 5 years ago (still)... Consistently one of the best restaurants offering fresh, delicious menu options with many items sourced locally. Enjoy!

We adore this place! If you want a fabulous breakfast, this is the spot! The hubby and I love to share their Tri tip farmers skillet and their French toast that they serve with a caramelized syrup. It's a quality breakfast that will fill you up. It's also very quaint and lots of different spaces to eat at. You order and pay first, then they bring your food to your table. They are great about checking on you to see if you need anything, and this last time offered to even take our picture out front with their fall set-up just for pictures out front.

This place completely plummeted in quality under new ownership. The difference between the old steak and eggs and the new for instance, is night and day. What a sad, tiny piece of meat they served me—truly pathetic, overcooked, and flavorless. It's always sad when there's a change of hands on a prior staple. $$$ for a terrible breakfast.

It's astounding that they get to ride the coattails of the previous iteration.

Had a sad experience with this restaurant. I placed a to go order and arrived on time. I waited in line to only be told I didn't need to wait in line but to walk in and go to the hallway to ask for my to go order but there were no signs to notify this. I picked up my order and left right away to a meeting I needed to get to. When I finally sat to have my meal they left out half of it. I received my omlette but no potatoes and no toast, the same with my husband's order, just his omlette. Also my omlette had a lot of liquid which im guessing is due to the veggies. We paid $44 dollars for two cold omlettes and 1 cold waffle. It was outrageous.
So if possible check order before leaving the premises or eat on-site to make sure you get what you paid for.

I first came here in February 2024 ( a day after my wedding) with my husband. He's a regular and often comes with his roomate and best friend. He also lives up the road on Central Avenue. I'm from the UK (London) and married Jonathan who's in a wheelchair. He first told me about this place and suggested I try it. We ordered the Mexican omelette, waffles and coffee. The freshly squeezed orange juice was so delicious and refreshing. The cubed potatoes covered in cheese was a real treat and the waffles were the best American ones I've tried! Overall, the food was delicious , the service and hospitality was amazing and there was plenty of parking when we went there. The staff are friendly, kind and very quick and the restaurant was cosy with a really nice family atmosphere. The outside eating area was lovely, calm and peaceful, nothing like the busy fast paced lifestyle like London! The staff are especially kind to my husband and made allowances due to his mobility issues. For that I'm giving you 5 stars. We came again in May when it was a bit busy and again, the food, service and hospitality was spot on. We'll be coming here more often as it's so local. Thank you.

I introduced this place to my daughter a few years ago and it still remains to be her favorite place to eat pancakes or waffles. Haven't even tried the food yet and I already don't like the service. it's a nice day outside and I wanted to sit outside in the beautiful backyard setting they have. They said they serve people who sit inside faster than they serve those outside. also you have to order before you sit down. Like you would at a fast food restaurant. Noone explained how it works here and it's not obvious. I hope the food is worth it but considering that that they don't accommodate people who need to eat gluten free which requires cooking things separately which thy can't do because they cook everything on the same grill. not a good experience from the start. beautiful looking tho. wish the service matched such a shame

Later, the food is delicious. Arrived in a timely manner and we pretty much ate all the the same time. Free refills on fountain drinks.

It's a very well-crowded place and you can hear everyone's conversations. I disliked the food only because the food was bland and it didn't have any seasoning, when I wanted some hot salsa or something spicy for my breakfast sandwich 🥪 my brother asked our patient server to ask the chef for anything spicy and they came back with blended jalapenos and mild salsa and that didn't do it for me, I paid $20.95 x2 for my mom & my brother himself and the meat that they used on there had grease which I stuffed inside the sandwich and it gave the sandwich life which made it 10 times better. Other than that I paid $75.75 and I myself would never come here again, it's a cute place I'll give you that but it's not for me.

I have been wanting to try this place out for a long time because of the great reviews, but in my experience I thought everything was just ok. To be fair though, I am not a big breakfast person so take my review with a grain of salt. My friends really liked it.

First, parking is terrible. There is a very small lot with extra parking behind the nextdoor building, but that gets filled up pretty quickly as well so be prepared to spend some time looking for a spot. The line is usually pretty long in the mornings, especially on the weekends, but it moved surprisingly fast so we did not wait too long.

You must have your order ready before you are seated so take a look at the menu ahead of time. There were images of some of their plates diplayed on a television and some flyers hung up that we based our selections off of, but when we got to the cashier to take our order they didn't have any of the three plates we wanted. Apparently the TV was displaying dishes that they currently have as well as dishes that are coming soon. Nothing differentiated which plates were coming soon so that was a bummer and a little frustrating. The flyer in front did give a start date for one of the items.

The inside is cute and quaint, like a regular house (hence the name). There is a large outdoor seating area in back that feels like the backyard. We didn't get to sit back there because it was full, but inside was also nice.

The food, in my opinion, was ok. I had the salad and soup combo with the tri-tip salad and a clam chowder. The meat was tender, but not very flavorful and the clam chowder tasted like canned soup. It is very rare that I crave traditional breafast food items (panckaes, waffles, omlettes, etc.), but when I do I might still go back to give them a fair a shot. The homey ambience is worth another try.

For starters the waitress came to my table and made the comment of having to order prior to sitting down. Took my silverware the other waitress placed and gave it to another table that also sat down prior to ordering.
Second the food was cold. I expected it to be warm/hot but received neither. I will not return back to this place. The orange juice was delicious though. Oh yeah parking is very very minimal. Good luck!!

Terrible experience. First off, don't expect any avocados with any meal. Even though this place is themed after it, all avocados are extra. Why theme a place you have to pay extra for?? Seems sketch to just try and get people in by advertising plates with avocados AND THEN you find out you pay extra. The food was mid, nothing special you can't just make at home. I took my gf as a birthday present bc she loves avocados and this was just a huge let down. Also, there's no one giving direction on where to sit, how to order or how to get your food. This is the absolute last time I will ever go to this restaurant. My family and I have come before and have not been impressed with the service, but this time takes the cake.

My family of 5 waited in line to order food. As we neared the front of the line, with 2 parties in line in front of us, a table large enough to accommodate us opened up. The restaurant was very full due to it being a holiday week. I had my three teenage children sit at the table while my husband and I moved up to order at the counter. An older man, employee or manager of the restaurant, came up to my children sitting at the table and told them they needed to get up because we hadn't ordered our food yet. He said we had to wait to get a table until after we'd ordered, which I get, however, we're a party of 5, and no other tables big enough were close to finishing.

I could not believe they made us get up. They didn't even attempt to find another table for us. It was very rude and even the lady waiting in line before us could not believe he did that.

I will never go back to this restaurant, and would advise anyone else considering going here to spend their money where customers are treated with respect. McDonalds has better service than Avocado House.

Had this place on my "want to go" list for a while. With high expectations we were able to stop in for breakfast.
First impressions were how cozy the entire property was, it has the atmosphere of visiting at a friend's house for a meal. The "back yard" and "front porch" are comfortable spots to enjoy your meal. Walking into the front door is where you order your meal with the kitchen directly behind the counter.
The selection was great. We ordered:
Biscuits and gravy- we were told that they were out of gravy for the day.
Eggs Benedict - we ordered the eggs sunny side up but the egg white came out runny.
Avocado Toast- simple, decent portion of avocado, sourdough toast was tasty but served cold causing the toast to lose its crisp.
Side of home fries- nothing special.
Pancakes- Cooked to perfection and perfect texture. Add to that the special Carmel Syrup....oh..oh so good! the shining dish of what we ordered.

The service was great and kept the coffee toped off.

Two observations as well left:
1. The beautiful large avocado tree.
2. They have an extremely small parking lot.

I desire to visit again to try the cinnamon roll French toast, I imagine with the caramel syrup it would be amazing.

It was my first time here so my hopes we high. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were raw. I understand that sunny side up eggs aren't supposed to be fully cooked, but these eggs were actually inedible and had a bunch of little gel sacs from being so undercooked. As well, the bacon was floppy after requesting it be well done. But that's not the worst part. We requested the manager twice because the first time was ignored. The manager proceeded to tell us that it was our fault for not being familiar with the order (we order eggs Benedict frequently) and refused to refund the order. If you don't like you food raw, I'd suggest you stay away.

I kind of understand why this place is so popular, but personally, I wouldn't come back soon. Food ingredients are fresh and also quality.

They have delicious whole hearted buckwheat pancakes served with hot maple syrup all made with all natural ingredients and from scratch! Their trip tip steak taste grass fed, is deliciously thick and cooked just right!

The food is always great, and the staff take pride in their jobs. The only downside is that it can get very busy at times.

There are always many people lined up.
There is an attraction that makes you want to get in even if you have to wait in line. The avocado toast🥑 and coffee were both delicious.

perfectly poached eggs were nestled on a bed of English muffins, topped with the most delectable Holinese sauce I've ever tasted. The sauce had just the right balance of flavors, with hints of tanginess and a slight kick of spice. It elevated the dish to a whole new level of deliciousness. To complement the eggs, the potatoes served alongside were a crispy and savory delight. Each bite offered a satisfying crunch, and the seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the overall flavor profile.

My mom opted for the omelette, and she was equally impressed. The omelette was fluffy and cooked to perfection, with a generous filling of her choice. It's safe to say that the Avocado House knows how to deliver on omelette perfection.

Beyond the outstanding food, the atmosphere of the Avocado House was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that every customer felt well taken care of. The cozy ambiance and tasteful decor added to the overall dining experience, creating a welcoming environment to start the day on a positive note. Will definitely be visiting again & again as long as the quality and friendly staff reminds the same 🤗
