I was there yesterday at this location in Eastlake.
The service was great. Food was cooked perfect. Lots of options also for vegetarians . My son had the chicken and had tried other items in the menu and he loves it.
My favorite is the falafel wrap with the roasted tomatoes on the side.
Fries are also amazing. Try them with the 💥 sauces.
Chipotle and mango sauce really good.

I’m a frequent customer and we order the same thing: rice places with spicy tandoori chicken (not very spicy, but lots of flavor) with pita, hummus, fries, and falafel. Must try sauces are the house white sauce, sumac chipotle orange sauce. Tender meats, amazing sauce selection, and nice employees. They’ve gone viral in the Eastlake Food To Go facebook page and for great reasons. I love their food so much, let’s continue to support local restaurants. This is one of my all time favorites. So glad they opened this Eastlake location.

Food is really good, it has a homemade feel to it. The chicken korma (curry) is flavorful. The curry is more similar to a broth than Indian or Japanese curries. I love to spoon it over the rice. The hummus is creamy and light, the pita bread is perfectly soft. So good!

Reccomend the Spicy Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Korma, and California Shah Fries with Gyro meat!

Tasty food with great portion size. Seating is limited right now. Falafel is crunchy on the outside and cooked perfectly inside. Will definitely return. Son got the three item combo. He said chicken is the tastiest.

We showed up, starving on Christmas Eve & it was LATE. Without hesitation they took our order & gave us a few recommendations. They were SO KIND. Especially considering we ordered sit-in. On a holiday. Best kebab in SD is right!!! Best chimichurry too!!! Im so glad we happened upon this spot. We will be coming back regularly. High notes- The staff. All of them were so nice. The combo plate. - peeled, grilled tomatoes. Incredible. The sauce bar. - theres something for everyone.

I can t believe I ve been sleeping on this place. Everything we got was delicious. My husband got the trio rice plate and I got the minced meat kabob rice plate. Everything was juicy and tasty and amazing. We ll be back! Kid-friendliness: The chicken tenders were a fave for my picky eater kiddos!

Found a new restaurant this weekend. Love the service and my dish was delicious. My chicken was so moist and seasoned well. Our server gave us a sample of their Gyro meat very tasty. Will return for a wrap and my usual go to is chicken and salad. Can t wait

The gyro was decent, but overall a let down. Ordered the gyro wrap cali style, meaning they add fries and guacamole inside. I got maybe 4-5 fries and maybe a teaspoon of guac. It was disappointing and would not return as there are many other options nearby. Hopefully your experience is a better one if you decide to give this place a try.

This is my new favorite place to eat! The food is fresh, flavorful and absolutely delicious. The Service is fast and the employees are very attentive. For being a new place it feels a little run down but the quality of the food is way too good to truly complain.

The Kabob Shack in Eastlake is simply amazing. The Moussa Chicken is gushing with flavor and quite frankly, the best Middle Eastern chicken in San Diego in my opinion. Highly recommended for those curious minds out there.

the california kabob wrap is really flavorful, delicious and filling. it s really light and not heavy at all, doesn t give you that yuck and greasy, also the veggies is fresh which makes the food even better. employees are welcoming and friendly. would definitely come back again. the dessert are to die for i recommend the chocolate cannoli!!

Great, clean food with large portions at affordable prices. I ordered the gyro wrap and it was plenty of food for a meal at 10.95. The sauces they have are delicious as well. The restaurant is small however and seating is limited, so I wouldn t plan on eating in the restaurant with a party bigger than 5. All in all, a great small, local business worth trying.

The food was overall good and hit the spot, they just opened this month so I understand they have some kinks to work out with the new restaurant. I ordered the chicken tikka wrap California style, it was tasty and generously sized. Minor issue of having a greasy tortilla and having a lot of burned pieces and burned taste due to debris leftover on the grill. I still enjoyed it despite this, and would probably come back again. To be honest, it s a bad idea to have so many different items on the menu. No trustworthy Middle Eastern place should have gyro, Persian food, and afghan food and burgers in one menu the best restaurants I ve been to l and not to mention, the ones that stay in business the longest specialize in one thing they re famous for. As much as I enjoyed the sauces and variety of flavors offered, as well as a westernized spin on Mid Eastern classic dishes, simplicity is best from a business standpoint and will greatly help the staff stay organized and give consistently good food in a timely manner with fewer recipes and inventory. The staff was scrambling and I heard shouting, they were out of stock on the self serve areas, and the customer service seemed strained due to stress. It was very popular and bustling. The food was out fast despite how many customers I don t think it s a bad thing to make people wait a little longer in order for staff to catch up and do the necessary things to ensure quality. I personally don t mind waiting, especially if it s going to be good. My hope for this business is to take away half the tables or push most dining areas outside, because their kitchen is far too small to accommodate all their traffic and needs. More space for storage behind the counter would definitely help the appearance as well, instead of the boxes in the open. The mural is cool UPDATED REVIEW** Steak tikka wrap was awful. Quality is all over the place, meat was dry af and huge pieces of grizzle every bite. Onions cut wildly different, some finely minced and huge pieces everywhere. This happened last time too but I gave it another chance. Will not be returning
