The menu options at Junbi are so wide, it takes a minute to pick what drink you're feeling that day. Lately I have been appreciating the classic Matcha cold brews. Strawberry and Mango are my faves. I haven't tried their food options yet but they look good. I also got some of the Miffy collab merch and it is the cutest!

This was a cute little place near the ramen spot - I wanted to give this 5 but the only reason I’m giving it a four because of the way they fill the ice cream - it is in fact hollow in the middle so you definitely get jipped - idk why they do that ? Other ice cream spots don’t do this so you get more ice cream overall ! Bummer because the flavor is decent ! Just look at the other reviews with the pictures of the hollowed out ice creams I wish I took one of my own :(

One of my favorite boba spots to go to, especially since they specialize in matcha drinks and matcha is my favorite. Their drinks are refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. I live 30 minutes away and I always make go here or when I'm in the area. Their onigiri is also very good and will tide you over if you are dying for a snack. Service is super helpful and friendly. Definitely will recommend.

I recommend getting: their matcha cold brew that come with fruit puree: my current favorite is guava and blueberry and you can add milk if you would like. I often get less sweet in my drinks. I also recommend blended ceremonial matcha if you want something similar to a frappe or dessert after a good dinner.

It's been a while since I've updated my review, so thought I'd go ahead with it. I still like to visit this location because the service is always fast and friendly.

Their drinks are delicious and I love the flexibility that I can have with them when it comes to sweetness, ice, dairy/non-fairy choice, and my mood...(aka am I in a matcha, coffee, tea mood...do I want something fruity, creamy, or fresh?) I also love their food options to have as a snack with my drink.

I love the seasonal drinks that come out and the Strawberry Chrysanthemum has been my favorite. You can tell the boba is made fresh regularly as well.

Parking is still easy and there are other great places to eat at nearby while in the area!

I love Junbi matcha so much. Every time I walk into the cafe I'm greeted by the really kind staff and the very cute/trendy atmosphere. Every drink I've had there is extremely decadent, smooth, and creamy.
Never too sweet or lacking in any way. It's a habit of mine to order one of their seasonal drinks if they have one, and I think my favorite has to be their pumpkin matcha with boba that I tried last year. SO GOOD! Definitely recommend!

I always make sure to stop by Junbi whenever I am in the area! The blueberry matcha cold brew (with a splash of milk) is my go-to order, and it is very refreshing. The tapioca pearls are also really soft. Service is quick and very easy, and staff are also very kind and helpful :)

Unfortunately, the service was terrible this time around. I saw other reviews on Yelp also complaining about the lack-of-customer-service that some of the staff exude. I m assuming it s because they re new, based on the fact that the store was closed for a whole week recently for employee training . I would recommend retraining your staff because their unfriendliness is a major turn off, especially in a job that requires good service in order to bring in more customers. I don t even think these employees learned anything useful from the supposed training week . To top it all off, the sealing machine didn t even seal the drinks correctly which caused matcha to spill everywhere in the car. Super disappointing, considering I ve had Junbi many times before (even back when it was still Sip!) and it was such a letdown to be greeted with such coldness and an overall bad experience. I might go back if the staff gets retrained or replaced, but for now Junbi won t be one I m recommending to anyone to go to for boba/matcha drinks.

I had the brown sugar milk tea with boba. It was gross. Mostly milk, hardly any flavor and the boba was hard. Two stars because the lady was helpful.

Matcha heaven!!! This place has been one of my favorite shops to stop by within the Rowland heights area. Ordering here is always quick and easy as they have a kiosk to order as well as the cashier and the order is made quickly within 10 minutes!! My usual favorite is the yuzu dragonfruit matcha cold brew, rose matcha, and the basic matcha. The salmon rice ball is simply delicious. I have yet to still try the soft serve and waiting for the hojicha to return!! Also, there are few seats and tables for socializing as well as getting work done. However, it is a small shop but, theres seating outside in the plaza with lots of parking. Overall, this is always a staple shop to stop by with friends & family!!

Cold Rose Water Matcha w/ Milk (less sugar) - I like how fresh it is while you can also taste the genuine matcha. Employees are friendly and can help with recs if you dont know what you want. I usually get the matcha latte or their other drink with strawberry puree at half sugar. Parking: Theres more parking behind the building if you cant find parking in front.

I cant rave enough about this absolute gem! If you love matcha, this place is a must-visit. I cant get enough. My family and I are absolutely obsessed. It s hard to get matcha drinks right but Junbi s got it down! I love trying their seasonal drinks and what they can mix up with their traditional matcha drinks to make a little more interesting. Their ice cream is okay, but I definitely like the drinks here a lot more. They also recently had a Miffy collab that was super cute and I got my hands on a glass Miffy cup!

I love Junbi! I wasnt a fan of matcha beforehand, but Junbi was a game changer. Im a big fan of floral teas, so I get the rose water matcha latte and its DELICIOUS. I actually cannot consume caffeine that often, but this drink is the exception. Highly reccommend!

One of my favorite places to get matcha! I love their yuzu dragon fruit matcha cold brew, especially with the almond jelly. I never see almond jelly at other locations but it tastes so yummy! All the workers are super friendly and the location is very clean.

Junbi is one of my go to spots for matcha. The drinks are always consistent and taste delicious. The drinks always come out quick and the staff is always welcoming and accommodating. The store is clean and has a few tables to sit and enjoy and the drinks. If I had to recommend one drink, it would be the strawberry matcha with boba!

First learned of Junbi when I was just starting with my ceremonial tea habits. Was looking for a legit matcha powder that is jade in color, and was watching Dudes Behind the Foods during this time so it s timely to be exposed to David. The crew who helped me was very accommodating & helpful to me as a first time customer. Small boba shop with a yummy menu. We aren t big milk tea fans, and they are happy to hold the milk for their drinks. One of our favorite toppings is the lychee, which is bite sized pieces of fruit. Quick service and the staff is always friendly. Parking: Open lot plus there are Tesla superchargers in the back.

I think their matcha frescas are pretty tasty! Especially the guava one. Its nice and refreshing and not too sweet, also its really pretty. Im taking away a star because their milkier drinks always come out way too sweet for some reason. One of the workers recommended the hojicha latte one time so I got it less sweet and it was so so good. Unfortunately, I have not been able to receive this same drink since. Embarrasing cause I ranted and raved about it to a friend and we both got it and holy smokes, it was so insanely sweet despite light on the sugar. Even after we waited for all the ice to melt, it was sweet. In the end, we both didnt end up finishing it. I got it again today in hopes and alas, it was crazy sweet again but Ive no milk to dilute it! I cant imagine what it would be at if I said full sweetness. I ask the workers, and they said theres only less sweet as an option instead of a percentage. I think Im just going to stick to the frescas from now on, a shame cause I find the hojicha flavor quite nice.

Although the branding is cute, it sadly did not live up to expectations. No matcha taste, just milky sweetness for drinks and ice cream. The matcha hojicha swirl was creamy but had no tea taste, and overly sweet red bean topping. Wanted to try rose, but they accidentally made strawberry matcha. Boba was too soft, strawberry pulp strangely gritty (bc uncooked vs jam), and no grassy astringency of green/matcha teas. Maybe their milk source/ creamer is too powerful for the delicate flavor of tea to come through. Curious if the ceremonial is what I m looking for. Dietary restrictions: oat, soy, or cow milk options

Strong tea that takes both traditional and fun approaches. Kiosk order is convenient, but the reward system was a bit confusing. Drinks are highly adjustable and taste consistent. Friendly service. Drinks are solid, mostly matcha drinks, with three different types of plant based milk options - oat, coconut, and soy. They have a variety of toppings as well. No vegan soft serve. Few tables, no public restrooms.

I ordered a vanilla matcha with no milk and almond jelly. The new guy working was super nice. He made the drink with milk on accident. He was super apologetic but the other lady working on 6/3 at 4pm was not nice. She turned to me using a very entitled, condescending tone, when you order milk tea, it comes with milk. i told her, I know. Thats why I ordered it without milk. Then she proceeded to coach the nice guy who took my order. She said, you can hit no milk and then attempted to show him how to do it in the computer system only to find out there wasnt a no milk option. She said, oh looks like you cant do it. Well next time you can just memo it. So looks like it was a computer error. She doesnt need to correct me or speak to a paying customer in that e tone. I wasnt even in the wrong. I dont drink milk so of course I asked for no milk. The guy made an accident. Its no big deal, but how she handled it was not hospitable for a brand that focuses on hospitality. So the new drink I got, barely had any almond jelly. He was scraping the bottom of the metal pan with the metal spoon... and in the end, this is my poorly executed $7.25 drink. Not only did I not get a good drink, the lady gave me extra attitude. In a hospitality world, theres no need to educate the guest especially when the guest is right. At the end of the day, you were going to remake it anyways so why deal with this when all of it could have been avoided. Heres a quote from the book Unreasonable Hospitality (which I suggest that lady go read): If youve corrected a guest because you dont want them to think youve made a mistake, youve made a much bigger mistake. I hope she can use this as coaching to be a better leader in a brand that talks about being daring.

My drink was very watery and there was nothing so milky about it -_-, It s probably because I ordered strawberry matcha milky 50% sugar. It tasted like green tea powder water with strawberry jam at the bottom. I didn t even finish it. My first time here -_- . Maybe i just got a bad batch. 2 is for a nice lady at the cashier.

Milky matcha and matcha latte are both tasty and have great textures. I wish they also had hot drinks, but it seems they focus on iced drinks exclusively. Service is friendly and quick. Cute interior, shop is very small, so not exactly a sit down place. Plaza has outdoor tables available for everyone. Tons of parking.

Got their blueberry matcha and Madagascar vanilla matcha latte. The blueberry matcha doesn t have much of a blueberry taste, but tasted very syrupy. The normal sweet was a bit too sweet. However, the Madagascar vanilla matcha was OVERWHELMINGLY sweet, like it was unbearable how sweet it was. Our friend got the matcha latte and his was pretty good. In the past, I ve tried their strawberry matcha and it was ok, I ve had better. Overall, this isn t my go to place for matcha drinks

Yooooo....the only thing I drink here is the strawberry matcha milk tea because it is by far the best one from any boba shop. The matcha is not as bitter which I find to be the case with a lot of other shops. I usually will have finished the drink by the time I walk back to my car.

I held off on ordering from Junbi when they first opened because they only sold a few matcha drinks and matcha isnt really my favorite choice. But decided to check them out last weekend when I saw that their menu had a regular tea section. I ended up going with their regular green tea with half sweet and less ice. I was actually surprised that it was pretty good, although the leaf choice/brand was a little too floral/aromatic at the end for my preference. But nothing I couldnt handle. I still enjoyed my drink. :) The sweetness was perfect where I could still taste the tea profile with the slight natural bitterness. Definitely would order again!

If you want to drink some bomb matcha drinks. Junbi is the place to go. I never been to a place where they have fresh matcha like they do. The way they make their matcha drinks are perfect. Its not too sweet, its just right. The food they have there is also incredibly drooling for and its called the onimatcha. The employees are kind and they are quick with serving your order. My personal favorite is the aloe matcha. All in all this place is amazing I recommend this place if you are in desire a very healthy drink, but at the same time fulfill your tastebuds.

Junbi(Formerly SipMatcha) is one of my favorite matcha shops, and subsequently the closest one to our office! Ive tried a variety of their drinks and they have all been very satisfying. All of their drinks feel rich and not watered down like some other tea shops in the area. The only thing I wish was that this place was open before work hours! Matcha to some is like Coffee to many, and we wish there was a matcha option in the area thats open early so we can do company matcha runs! Starbucks is our only option at the moment and their matcha is fake, we rather just drink their coffee. Anyways, good luck to the rebranding! Its a catchy and meaningful name! Wouldnt it be great if we can Junbi in the morning with a cup of matcha?

I found myself frequently coming here to get the watermelon matcha fresca. It s the absolute best drink on the menu. The only downside is that this drink is seasonal, so I ll have to search for another drink in the meantime.

I love this place. Not to the point where Id drive the long ways to get here, but it is pretty good. I got the rose matcha milk tea and it was delicious and balanced in flavor. A friend got their mango matcha tea and you could tell by their look that it wasnt good at all. Another friend got the aloe vera matcha tea and it was okay to them just not sweet enough...

My overall experience was great as far as customer service. I ordered the blueberry matcha. It has a light yet refreshing flavor for blueberry lovers but I was over it pretty quickly when it started almost tasting like perfume. Dont know how else to describe it. I rank it a 3/5. The 2nd drink was mango matcha fresca and I didnt like it one bit. My girlfriend sort of liked it but her face told me otherwise. Matcha tastes high quality but its a long drive for me so I dont think Id come back since nothing really WOWed me.

The drinks and snacks are super fresh. Theyll customize your drink and have a variety of milk substitutes including oat milk which has become my favorite. The matcha and black sesame soft serve is cool and refreshing and I love having it with mochi and boba toppings. There are plenty more but those are my top picks.

Such tasty drinks. Not too sweet at all which made the blueberry matcha incredibly refreshing. The soft serve was aight. Lol for $5+ I literally got two pieces of mochi and the cup wasnt full. It had an empty gap in the center like the cup was lined with ice cream rather than filled.

Another basic tea shop in city that is swelling with businesses looking to make a quick buck, Sip Matcha tries and fails to bring new flavors to market. The flavored tea selection is decent, with lots of options. The location is definitely targeting a younger audience with self-ordering on a tablet, no instructions or recommendations from the staff required. At this point, the only thing separating the venue from a vending machine are the few workers in the back and a restroom. The location is clean and neat with a few chairs, but the entire plaza is dead silent and void of life. At around $5 a drink, it is more of a social statement to visit than a serious craving for their flavors. In five years time, the same drink will be dispensed from a vending machine at any nearby plaza at half the price and twice the speed. I cannot recommend Sip Matcha, as there are many other options in more interesting and convenient locations at half the price.

I m not really a fan of matcha drinks but this place is definitely an exception to my rule. Nice and friendly service and they recommended me a drink I d like since I wasn t a huge fan of matcha but it was delicious.

This place is soooooo good!! It got a little crowded, but you really cant go wrong with this place because its so good. The staff is very friendly and the order for yourself kiosks are really convenient. I had a cool aloe matcha tea with aloe chunks that was amazing! I think that everything is kind of on the sweet side, but there are options to change the level of sweetness in your drink. The soft serve matcha is also the bomb dot com!! 10/10 def coming back again.

After getting Laser eye surgery at IQ Laser Vision, we ve decided to get some treats. Luckily we got here during Happy Hour, so basically I only payed for 1 drink. Ordered the Lychee Oolong MT and Jasmine MT. Both dink s are not bad. The Lychee drink was not too sweet and not to bland. Just perfectly mixed. I also enjoyed the tiny bits of lychee in it. The Jasmine MT was a little on the bitter side. I guess the tea was just to strong. It did mix well with the milk tea I d probably add a little more sugar though just to get rid of the strong taste of the tea. For some munchies I ordered the spam and egg rice ball. It was actually bigger than I expected. I thought I d be like a small rice ball snack. It was packed with spam cubes and scrambled egg. You get to play with it as well because it comes with a seaweed sheet.
