Panera Bread is opened a new location in City of Industry with drive-thru! This is amazingly convenient, come with me.

I picked:
1. Asiago cheese bagel - with Honey walnut cream
2. Chocolate chip bagel
3. Pecan bread

You can order on app and set up pick up for cutting the wait. After quickly picking up my breakfast, I am now ready to go.

I don’t know what is wrong with this location in City of Industry. I have had several issues with them from not getting my order right a few times, calling corporate to address these issues, hoping they will get resolved. Now I found an apple they gave me to be rotten!!! How is this possible?! Management doesn’t seem to care. The problem is the drive thru. All these issues stem from there. Now keep in mind that the reason you go through the drive thru is because you are in a hurry and don’t have the time to check your food to be considerate of the people behind. Needless to say very very disappointed. Look at the other reviews with 1 star. Corporate needs to make changes.

I am really happy that they offer drive thru and that they only moved a few stores over. However, you must be patient when it comes to ordering from drive-thru. It definitely takes longer than an ordinary fast food place. The staff is always so friendly and go above and beyond.

Attention: Beware of some soups. Three days ago i ordered chicken noodles soup. When i ate up ，I had diarrhea. Now I am still vulnerable to the cold and the wind！

Becareful when reviewing your receipt. Its very misleading. We did not order any soft drinks, just cups of water. Although receipt shows + Md Water. I called and spoke to Mgr. She agreed. It's misleading. Hopefully they will get this resolved.

Poor management they ran out of napkins and might need to ration what s left. I happened to order a Mediterranean sandwich, which can be messy. Plus, the coffee kettle often runs empty without being refilled in a timely manner. To top it off, some long-faced staff members perfectly complemented the sloppiness.

Its ok here, but staff needs to read the order instructions better. For example, if you order a large drink, they will give you the small size by accident. Or maybe your food order might be missing an item sometimes. These kinds of mistakes have happened more than a few times. Need better attention to the order that was placed.

April 2023: Glad to have a Panera location open near my house again, but things seem like a mess even though theyve just reopened. Twice Ive gone to do a rapid pickup in the drive thru and the staff had no idea what I was talking about when I came pick up an order placed through the mobile app. They had to remake my order both times. As a result, even when there are hardly any cars in the drive thru, youll be stuck there for 10-15 min at least. Dont expect youll be able to swing by to grab something quickly on your way to work. Theres already water leaking from the drive thru overhang (this was on a bright and sunny day) and it pours onto your car the entire time youre at the pickup window. If you go inside to order, the staff still doesnt seem like they know what theyre doing. They cant answer basic questions and the dark roast coffee is continously unstocked so they provide two light roast dispensers instead. Im not sure if everyone working here is an untrained new hire who just started for the reopening, but they definitely act like they have no idea whats going on. Hopefully things will get better. July 2024: Service is slightly better now but the drive through is still so slow I never use it. The price of certain items is also way too expensive considering the quality... I ordered a parfait and realized I should never do that again because I can buy a tub of Greek yogurt, a bag of granola, and some fruit for slightly more money but Id eat three or four times the amount I can get from Panera if I make it myself

I ordered avocado toast, latte and a steak breakfast sandwich. My latte was half full, my avocado today has about a quarter of an avocado on it and the steak sandwich was literally flat! Horrible. I have been to other Panera Bread locations and they are definitely not like this.

This was my second time ordering at this location and it might be my last. I ordered online and picked up through the drive-thru. After pulling away I noticed they had given me chips instead of the baguette and that they didnt give me the tomato soup with my grilled cheese. I looped back around through the drive-thru and was told I was given chips because they were out of baguettes (yet they did not mention this when I picked up the order). I also informed them about the missing soup, and was told that they are out of soup for the evening. So instead of initially mentioning this to me so I could either get a refund or something of equal value, they just decided not to give me half my meal and not say anything. After I had pointed it out, I was offered another salad or half sandwich as a substitute. I had also ordered a green goddess caprese and didnt notice until after I got home that they didnt even put mozzarella on it, which is a huge component of the sandwich. I spent about $27 total and this experience was definitely not worth $27.

The environment is good. Good place for study or for coffee, but the Wi-Fi sucks here. Not loading at all, and the signal is bad, can t even use my 5g. But the coffee and food r good. Good place for food but not for a long time. Don t know if they do that for a purpose

Corporate really needs to look into this location! Whether it s a franchise or not, this location is giving Panera a bad name. My boyfriend no longer wants to eat at any Panera location because he thinks all of the food is awful, when in reality it is only at this location. We gave them leniency as they were a brand new location, but it s been months now. The only consistent thing about the food here is that it s terrible. Nothing is made correctly, it s all WAY too much sauce, dressing. Never the correct ratios. Not even in the drinks. And the wait is atrocious. Management needs to look into its kitchen staff s training and give it another go- because this is not it.

Totally renovated and everything is great. Electrical outlets only on the benches on the kick board. Outside starting is also available. Outside seating on the east side of the building so its shady late in the afternoon. Drive thrus, self service kiosk, but noticably Panera is removing cups sitting on the counter. Prices did go up a bit. Standard menu so I got nothing to say. Only draw back here is the parking lot. To many lines and instructions that were left over from prior charging stations setup. The chargers are gone but the lines and disclaimers remain on the asphalt.

1st time trying Panera! Sandwich is absolutely delicious Service was unbelievable Had me standing & waiting for my order and didnt bother to show me where to pick up my order! I even told a couple servers I was waiting for my order & my name had been called, all they did was nod their head & say ok! I also inquired on rewards & getting my free pastry & all the mngr said was I must buy something, tried showing her receipt & she said to get it next time! Ugh SO unprofessional! I even explained that Im a 1st timer & didnt know how they ran the restaurant but they didnt care, INCLUDING the manager!! Its too bad I really like the meal or Id say Ill never go back but I will go back DO BETTER PANERA BREAD SERVERS!!!!

I understand the place is new, but the staff needs a bit more training. While I was there they were mopping the floors but did not have were floor signs still 15 mins after. I saw a lot of senior customers so it was a slip hazard. One EE was even drinking water from her canister while at the bread counter, I do not know if that is allowed or not, as I always thought they has to drink while away from the counter and food prep areas. The food was small for the price and the bread was drier then other store locations. Even the chicken from the soup was dry, as if they cooked it separately and overlooked it. At this time I do not recommend this location, but maybe is 3-4 months Ill try it again.

Ive always wanted to try Panera Bread as it look like a comfy place to study and eat. When I saw this new building opening near my area, I was excited. However, I shouldve kept my expectation low. Ordering food was easy enough; just go to the kiosk and pay for your order. When I received my food, the server somehow place my receipt on the soup itself. I was like Okay, it might have been on accident so whatever. I also didnt receive my ice coffee for another 6-7 minutes. When I went up to the counter and ask for my beverage, the server just looked at me funny and handed me a cup and not say a word. The food itself was decent, The chicken soup was quite good imo. It couldve been great if the bread they gave me was hot but it was just cold stale bread. The worst thing about this Panera Bread is the wifi and service. The internet is so slow I can barely stream Youtube. Overall, new building doesnt equal new service and food.

The health and safety of this place is poor. Before sitting, the seats and tables were dirty, with food on top. When they wiped it down, they only did the center of the tables. As other customers are coming in, one of the workers that was at the register was just standing there and drinking their water rather than stepping off to the side to drink. As I was eating, I noticed one of the workers were mopping the floors in the dining area. There were no wet floor signs presented in the area and a customer slipped but did not fall. This location at the time the slip happened had elderly. I feared the safety for the customers that the workers were providing. The bathroom looks very unclean, it looks like it has not been mopped recently along with the toilet looking unclean.

This place used to be poop but now that they fixed their internet it is good now. Last week we went here with high hopes but when we settled in we were horrendously disappointed. Wifi was non existent . Customer care was lacking. It was like living in the 1800s. But now were back in the 21st century. Internet is finally back, good stock, customers are happy, and it is a tidy and clean store. It used to be a pit of garbage but now Im finally in Panera heaven... The way it should be. Rapid pick-up (drive-thru) isn t so rapid. You may get lucky and there will be no one in line, but more than likely you will be behind people who do their order there and it takes about 8-10 minutes per car. Save yourself the frustration and pick up inside. I witnessed a F-350 and BMW almost get into road rage because the F-350 accused the BMW of cutting in line because the lanes merge. F-350 was ignorant to the fact the smaller car would take less than a minute. Panera breads are fairly consistent with their product so you know what you are going to get.

WOW!!!! HORRIBLE!! I ordered you pick two of soup and salad. The soup was tiny- only half way full. It was the vegetable soup and there was hardly any vegetables, mostly all broth. The salad was even worse! I ordered the green goddess salad. It was basically all lettuce. There was absolutely NO chicken at all on it. 1/4 of a hard boiled egg, no pickled onions, hardly any bacon and about a 1/4 of an inch of avocado and less than. Tablespoon of dressing. It was over $14!!!! I was so excited for this location to open and I am beyond disappointed!

Went here today to get lunch for my daughter and I. Waited to order 20 minutes. Got to the window and waited another 25 minutes. A girl came to my window and asked if I had a reorder. No. I ask to speak to the manager. The girl taking my order rolls her eyes and walks away. Finally the manager gets to me. Asking him what s going on some crazy woman walks up to the drive thru window looks in at the workers, turns to me and tells me to pull up. I tell her no I m waiting for my order, she comes around to my passenger window and starts saying stuff. Then she goes back to the drive up window and starts saying stuff to me. All the while the manager, RANDY doesn t do ANYTHING. I finally get my order after 45 minutes, go home and it s wrong. This Panera has made it bad for any future visits no matter what store.

Hi everyone, I came here on a Wednesday night and was really excited to try the new Panera location. I asked the cashier about what the warm bowls are, because they could have very different interpretations. She sighed at me and read off the names of the warm bowls without actually describing what it was. When I asked for what it was, she gave me attitude and was completely rude to me throughout my order. For note, she was the worker with short hair that was dyed and she wore glasses. Upon receiving my food, the portion size was much smaller than other Panera locations typically serve. It was a joke, my friends always go to Panera and agreeably their dishes looked very small as well. This location looks really nice, but seriously needs some work. Until then, my review will remain at one star.

The food is good, the people are fabulous. The reasons I gave it only 4 stars is based on parking. Im struck by the distance you have to park if youre just the average person with a strictly gas fueled engine. Also I think the breads were displayed much better at the previous location.

This is a brand new location! Everything looks really good and lots of space to sit and relax! Being it s the first week open, PEOPLE-NEGATIVE NELLIES-KARENS-NEED to come with patience and expect to wait a lil longer then usual and treat the workers with kindness and respect cuz it s very overwhelming and the attitudes & treatment I ve witnessed some people give the workers the few times I ve been here so far is disgustingly disrespectful!! Especially coming from grown adults!! If you don t have patience and are not able to be kind then go elsewhere with that treatment cuz these poor workers are only trying to do their job the best they can and I m sure it ll improve as they go but do them a favor and don t come if your a negative ugly person cuz nobody really needs nor deserves that treatment! Other then that, EVERYONE is doing great for being opening weekend

PLEASE READ!! A little goes a long way At the end of the day, Panera generously donates the bread left over to our little food pantry. this bread not only helps feed the homeless and helps people on a budget. Many US Veterans visit our little pantry too. Twice a week the bread goes to a womans center that provides housing, food, clothes and an education to help better there lives for them and ther children. Great staff , good food, compassionate heart.

The food is so expensive ($10) for a sandwich and the pasta tastes microwaved. The bread is nothing special; I can get better bread from Costco, sam s, Whole Foods, etc. I also don t like that there are panhandlers in here who keep asking for handouts; it makes the environment quite stressful and creepy. This used to be my favorite study spot but now I m changing my mind and will probably try to eat elsewhere. The rewards system is also so stingy with its rewards
