Chinese Hot Pot
Like this place. Too bad no all server speak english. Their check in mandarin so if you can not read it, make sure you remember what your order and the price 😅. Seasoned cripy pork and pork stew is the best. Crab with salty egg is okay, with corn. Crab $ 59.99 Lobster is just okay, no meat 🤣 pricey $ 79.99. Fish soup with pickle veggies is pretty good.

Wyd too overpriced, horrible attitude. Owner is awful and is liar and hustler because even when items were out still calculated in our bill. Never answers to customer concerns. No flavor too bland the barbecue and the hotpot had low quality meat and seafood.

I personally love everything about this restaurant. It is great for a date with the significant other or even family gatherings. The service is outstanding and the waiters are absolutely some of the kindest people I have met. The food is delicious for anyone's pallet. They do deliver and there is a party room for larger gatherings. So grab some friends or family and head straight to Flower Peppers.

Very delicious and spicy szechuan food. Their lamb on skewers is delicious, and so is their spicy chicken. They have really yummy soft boiled beef and I really enjoy their green beans. Avoid the pork belly though, too sweet, that is my one complaint but all the spicy meat is amazing.

We visited SoCal specifically because a friend told us that they have the grilled frog in copper pot dish. We drove down in 6 hours to try it so why only 3 stars? Well, first of all, let's talk about false advertisement. The grilled frog in copper pot has three key ingredients: frogs, grilled, copper pot. However, we got a spicy frog in Sichuan sauce in an aluminum pan. The lame excuse is that it's due to covid but there is no way the frogs are grilled. They are not even breaded properly. It's so different not only from the real deal it's a completely different dish. The frogs are at least fresh which is all I will say. For about $80 it's a huge letdown. The services were good as we were offered free coconut juice but I couldn't add more stars because the other dishes weren't anything special either. The 小炒肉 or stir-fried sliced pork is my judge of how good a restaurant is and it's only so so. It's not bad but not worth driving more than 30 minutes for. The Sichuan fried pork also is not crispy enough to be any special as even Haidilao has better version. It's not a bad restaurant but not special enough to warrant a return visit when there are so many choices in SoCal.

This Szechuan restaurant is incredible, very authentic flavor and so many dishes to choose from. The food is delicious, fragrant, flavorful, and has a nice level of spiciness due to the use of the Szechuan peppercorn (also known as the flower pepper). It’s recommended that you come here with a big group of friends or family so that you can try as many items as possible. The service is also great, very friendly and attentive.

Don t order the fried skewers at the school gate in the old hotpot restaurant in Dongzhen. It s super unpalatable. The king of king intestines is also the thinnest small intestine. 3 pieces 7.5 . It s unpalatable. It feels like it s been deep-fried for a long time. It tastes like hot pot. It s also very average!

Ordered hot and spicy dry pot and added a serving of fish and beef. Well what I received was a bowl of chili with really really small amount of meat. Almost 33 dollars of nothing, speechless

very bad experience, the food is totally different from the picture, and there is only several slices meat in a 30$ dish and the rest of it is non-edible pepper and rotten potato. This is the worst restaurant I have ever seen. It is seriously inconsistent with the picture. The 30 yuan dish only has a few pieces of meat. The rest are inedible peppers and mashed potatoes. Even the garlic is stir-fried without being cut. This is the worst thing I have ever seen nearby. Its a restaurant.

Jiaoxiangyuan is a new-style Sichuan restaurant. Its signature dish is the bullfrog double boiler. I invited the whole family to try it at Christmas. It was really good. Several dishes recommended by the restaurant manager were very delicious, and the family was full of praises. I stayed here. I made a good impression and will choose this restaurant next time I invite friends to dinner.

Im from Chengdu, and this restaurant is Sichuan cuisine. The taste is very authentic, and the portion of Maoxuewang is super generous. Their bullfrog is very tender, and the seed frog they use is very tender, and the bamboo shoots are also very crisp and tender. Many restaurants use giant bullfrogs, which are very old and not tasty! Highly recommended, the dining environment is also good.

I came here before, checked the reviews, and found one star, which I thought was unfair. I came here again today and felt that one star was too high. As someone said, the service attitude is really bad and disgusting. as follows: I have found some very expensive dishes recommended by them before, but I didn t think much of them. Now that I have read a lot of reviews from fellow gourmets, it seems like they are selling overpriced stuff. We feel the same way. The most disgusting thing today: We entered the restaurant at 2:40, and after the female waitress took our seats, a man came and asked how many people were dining. Realizing that there were few of us, he said, You can sit down and order and eat, but you must leave within 20-30 minutes. (The outline here is 1,000 words. I feel that 20-30 minutes is not even enough to order and cook, let alone enjoy). Actually, he just thought there were few of us, so he drove me away in disguise. And it s too disgusting, bad, and worse than forcing customers to pay tip and buy overpriced food. I was here previous, with soso experience, for 2 or 3 stars. I feel so bad for them, I see they got one star ONLY from a lot of costomers. But I feel one star is too much already with my experience from today. From my experience in the past, They are indeed having interests to push everyone for expensive items. Very bad. Whats my experience today is that I came in and I was LED to a seat by a female waitress, 14:40 (they have to close at 3 PM for break). After we sat down at the table, a waiter came over asking us as to how many we are, and telling us with a rude attitude and tone if you order/eat here, at 2:50pm, you have to leave at 3:20pm, as soon as he asked and knew we only have 2 persons. I told him 20 minutes are not even enough to cook my foods. He did not care at all. be cautious: 1. they mislead you to buy expensive items expensive items, as experienced before, but not this time because they do not have a chance at all. :) 2. Bad attitude 3. Do not come here if you dont want to be treated unfairly

The food in this store is delicious, but the waiters skills and attitudes are really bad. I forgot to give rice when ordering, so we were asked to drive back and forth for more than an hour to pick up two portions of rice. The manager was even more interesting and said that he would give us 6 portions. There are so many restaurants in Los Angeles, but you are the best, awesome plus

The taste is okay, but the service is too disgusting. At first, we were recommended to order a single-layer bullfrog, and then order a hot pot fish maw bullfrog. What recommendation is this? ? They all favored the more expensive ones. I said they were all bullfrogs. Do I need to order them all? The waiter actually said to try different cooking methods. . . In the end, when the restaurant was almost closed, they kicked us out, and then told us how much tip we should give. This was the first time I had seen such a waiter in the United States for so long. . . Accepted. Although the taste is okay, I wont go there again due to service issues.
