Last min trip that stayed open later than the others on a friday night around 10:30pm.
The servers were fast, friendly, and very accommodating. Came as a party of 4 and seated right away. Waitress suggested that we would need more room and moved us to a bigger table with a pitcher of water ready. You are provided with a QR code that directs you to their menu to place the order virtually straight to the kitchen. Once we clicked place order, the food was brought to our table in minutes.
Everything is a la cart. Ordered house/East Town soup base with the large tray of various meat, veggie platter, quail eggs, crab meat, fish ball filled with meat, sesame ball, 2 orders of rice, soju, 3L beer tower, and one soda. Portions are pretty generous. Love that they provided long chopsticks, which helped keep the soup from splashing on our hands or getting too close to the pot.
The large meat platter was a showstopper presentation. Definitely would come here again.
The atmosphere was clean, bright, and chill. With music playing, but not too loud, we were able to converse with each other.
The sauce station was a low but was enough for me to make a bowl, probably since it was close to closing time. There are fruits, snacks, and candy also near the sauce station.
I'd suggest providing at least 2 ladles for a party of 4 so that we wouldn't have to keep passing it back and forth.
In all, this place had good vibes and food.

I came here with little expectations since the exterior and the name of the restaurant looked very generic. To my surprise, the interior is well decorated with a live singer performing, with many people waiting for a table to dine in.
If you were looking to eat in this restaurant, I would recommend calling in for a reservation or make one online, as the wait can be atrocious.
I've came here twice before writing this review and both times I've ordered the large meat sampler as shown in the photos. The set itself isn't too expensive, being around $30-40 if I recall correctly.
The soup base selected here were the Lamb Spine and the Seafood, which totalled another $30 or so, you can choose different bases for a different price, we just found that these soup base were pretty good and well worth the cost, given the additional food that comes with the soup base itself.
Outside of the hot pot meat, they have a snack/sauce bar for $2 per person. The sauce bar is decently equipped with whatever sauce you want to make, though they do run out of some condiments and don't refill it quick enough due to only 2-3 waitress running the entire restaurant.
The snack bar has an array of fruits (depends if they have time to refill) and some other Asian crackers or snacks, all under the $2 sauce bar fee.
Honestly the only negative I would have if the place is just the lack of service, but it was understandable given how short staffed they were both times. Not sure if the owner doesn't want to hire more staff or are they unable to hire, but if anything, it is commendable seeing 2-3 waitresses doing everything from taking orders, cleaning, taking food out, finalizing a table, and addressing new guests.

If you are looking for a hot pot place with a good variety of ingredients, then this is the place for you. We went to this hot pot place for a friend's birthday and the food did not disappoint. The circular plate with the dry ice smoke is a shoe in itself for people who like to take pictures. Everything was very fresh, and if I had to complain about anything, it would be the lack of bowls in the sauce area due to how busy they were at the time, and it slowed them down in taking care of that section but overall a good experience.

They are severely understaffed.
Also, some pictures in the menu are very different from what is served.
And the staff don't know which soups are spicy and which aren't, and ordering the mild heat level didn't seem to help.
The lamb skewers were probably the worst I've had anywhere.

I have been there several times. I like it a lot in the beginning because the food quality is great but now, the food quality becomes really bad especially the meats when their business is getting better. Very disappointed. The food and soup base description is different from the actual food since they down grade the food quality and take out some expensive ingredients. So I am not going back there until they ethically run their business. Don’t go there unless you want to premium price on bad quality food.
10/17/2024 - After seeing your reply, I am very disappointed. I ordered two soup bases. One coconut chicken soup base and one Crucian Carp soup base. In coconut chicken soup, there is always coconut meat slices and last time when we went there, there is no coconut meat slices inside. I asked the waitress, and she said you guys took it out recently. Also in the crucian carp soup, I can't even find one single slice of fish and it was all chicken inside. If it's going to be all chicken, please put it as chicken soup base. don't mention anything about Crucian Carp. Also, I ordered the premium ribeye slices, but the quality was so bad. It's not even ribeye. Totally different from the first few times when I went there. I don't care it's standardized or not. I just hope you guys keep the standard but not lower the standard and standardized it.

We had a good experience there. The secret house sauce is pretty legit. For base broth we had the classic and the coconut chicken. It’s good! The food is ok, but has room to be better. The shrimp balls is under par. The ambiance is good with good vibe. It’ll be great if the volume could be lower as we had some problems hearing each other on the same table.

First time here, to be honest, I am very disappointed. When I first walked in, no waiter came to the door for a long time. Then I sat down and ordered the dishes and went to get the dipping sauce, but there was no chopped green onion. When I looked back, the fruit and ice powder were empty. When I returned to my seat, the dry ice was served for a long time but the meat didnt come. After waiting for a long time, the dry ice finally stopped smoking I checked many times and there was still no chopped green onion... In other hot pot restaurants, these basic things are full, which is not enough at all. Need to complain. I came here and asked for nothing. The food didnt come, and if I wanted to try some other fruit ice powder, my plate would be empty. Then the ice cream machine is still broken... I am speechless. There was no one to collect the plates. We asked for a colander to tell us that we hadnt washed them out... Well, I feel like the boss doesnt really care about these issues. But the resident singer sings very well, which is the only thing the hotpot restaurant can boast about

I go there often, but this time when I went there in the evening, it was still closed for more than an hour. There was no service at all. They kept urging you to leave. There were only 3 pumpkin pancakes. They were very small and ridiculous. I will not go there again.

Very delicious hotpot. The copper hot pot is a bit small and not very convenient for shabu-shabu. You must choose two pot bases. We ordered a lamb scorpion and a spicy hot pot, both tasted good. I ordered a mutton roll and beef, which was large and fresh. The beef balls were a little stringy, but not bad. The service is very attentive, soup is often refilled, and the checkout is quick.

I originally wanted to eat and talk with friends, but a resident singer sang for two hours. My friend and I couldnt hear each other, so we had to shout loudly. I had absolutely no interest in eating. I looked at the waiter who was working hard. I thought when paying the bill. Give some tips. As a result, the resident singer finished singing , a young guest was invited to sing on the spot. He was tone-deaf and made me lose all interest. I immediately checked out and left. I was not in the mood to leave a tip. May I ask this boss, is your place a KTV or a restaurant? If you are neither fish nor fowl, in the United States, you must improve your self-cultivation.

The ingredients are fresh and the copper hotpot tastes great. Sheep and Scorpion Hotpot hopes that there will be less red yeast rice for coloring, and dark soy sauce or fried sugar can be added appropriately for coloring. I hope to get started with dishes like tender lamb soon. The singers singing on Fathers Day was terrible. It was so off-key that I felt very painful . The atmosphere was only rated 4 points.

The lamb and scorpion pot base is highly recommended. The lamb and scorpions are braised in advance and are very tasty. There are also a lot of beef and mutton. There is also a fruit plate here and various dipping sauces. The service attitude is also great. They are all very good. There may sometimes be resident singers here, which is very suitable for gatherings of many people. The atmosphere is very lively, and there are plenty of parking spaces here, so you don t have to worry about parking. You can go there on weekends when you are free. gogogo

Similar to a Korean bbq place as you cook your food but in the case of hot pots you cook with boiling water and broth of some sort, you pick your meats and vegetables just like a Korean bbq place.
