Been here a few times. Each time there was an issue. Not coming back. Last experience was ridiculous. Took about 3 hours to get seated, served and paid out. $110 for 2 people and it was just ok. Prices are right for the dishes, but the dishes need quality product to be served. Not to mention how the place is managed, its kind of like Sizzler on a hill. UPDATE: I just added a star for the recent service we had and experience. I said Id never go back, but my wife wanted to. The place is nice and breezy outside. Inside is a bit dated I think, but better than a lot of other places.

We come here often, but today was our first time going for happy hour. While we waited for our table we went to the bar and had the absolute worst service from one of the bartenders. I know his name, but I don t want to put him on blast. Very rude, seemed like we were bothering him while asking for drinks, was upset that we wanted to order a few appetizers. It really ruined our experience. Very disappointed!

I stayed at the resort this restaurant is at. A very pleasant place to sit and eat because of the view and resort atmosphere. The food :( ..... the quesadilla had very little taste. The next day at breakfast when I pointed out that I was charged a dollar more for the cappuccino then the price on the menu, the friendly waiter took my observation to the young manager who was on duty then; nothing was done, not even an apology. So, two stars overall, the food service was very nice, but nothing was done regarding the wrong billing. Check your bill against the menu prices!

Typically, I enjoy coming here. The view and the atmosphere can be so refreshing after a long day. Sitting in their patio is the best, be it for brunch or just happy hour. Besides that the restaurant itself....meh for the price and quality of food...there are other options. My friends wanted to give this place a shot for dinner, they wanted to check it out after many great reviews...I warned them the food was just ok...and if we were there during the day it compensates for the lack of flavor in some of their food options. Well, we tried....and I would never go back for dinner, especially sitting inside the restaurant it sucked. So the restaurant has great outdoor seating, then the bar area with some tables, and then the back area with booths and tables which is more intimate yet kind of deserted. At first the manager, he seemed to be nice to move our party to a quieter spot since there was a football game on... but then later on, he came back twice to basically tell us to leave after we were done and settled the payment. It was his attitude and his excuse of saying You did not rent out the space and that your party did not allow for turn around of customers um ok....there was no line or waiting customers and maybe at best 8 tables in you main dining area and NO OTHERS. In our section, it was empty!!! The server was nice, and he even offered to move us to a clean table to continue our party, but no, not the manager. He seemed to care more about the bar patrons vs the our party of 8, who spent nearly $700 for the meal. The food was mediocre... the filet mignons were overcooked. I will say we enjoyed their creme Bruleé . Do come for the view and ambiance, but not for dinner inside the restaurant... there are a lot better places to dine at.

My husband plays a lot of golf so we stay at different hotels around LA when he has a tournament. This was our first time here. I dislike writing bad reviews but I dislike wasting money more. The server and busser were great but the food was very disappointing. My charbroiled steak was not charbroiled at all. More like baked, or maybe it was supposed to be cooked in the broiler but it wasn t pre heated. It had no char whatsoever and was anemic looking. The medium rare they gave me was more of a medium well. It was tough and unflavored. Please don t call something charbroiled if it isn t. The one good thing is that the brocollini was cooked perfectly. The calamari was also sub par, had a few shrimp in it and a lot of crumbs, which is just careless in my opinion. I d expect it from a fast food joint, not a restaurant at a 4 star resort.

We finished an 18 hole at the Industry Hills course and this spot was right next door. We got a table that was available so it was a busy night so the wait was about 15-20 mins. The place was called the Red Restaurant and Bar and I ordered the Permesean crusted Chilean sea bass(excellently cooked and seasoned perfectly!) and the Vietnamese spring rolls(great taste and it was pretty descent) along with their Vietnamese(good overall, just like any other spring rolls) spring rolls. I d definitely come here after a long day of golfing! ***update*** Tried the lobster corn chowder and it was phenomenal. It was very flavorful and creamy but wish it had more corn or lobster pieces. I d recommend the cup size. The house burger they had was about average and nothing special but still good. The white chocolate bread pudding was a solid desert, especially with a side of vanilla ice cream. A great spot to go to after finishing at the Ike or Babe.

Visually attractive and comfortable. Basic but with a certain elegance. Limited food variety and unusual breakfast hours, until 10:30 both. On certain days the menu is limited and exclusive. Table and outdoor hours limited to 10 pm, the rest is at the bar. Staff somewhat distracted and with delayed attention. Favorable for some golf holes with ample parking and access control to the place, only members or people staying in a hotel or by invitation

I travel here often on business. There are plenty of restaurants in town. However, I love the Red Restaurant, Attached to the Pacific Palms Resort. Excellent balance with menue options, from seafood to hamburgers, offering many items to choose from. They have a number of Asian dishes as well as pastas and salads of many varieties. They also boast a nice wine selection, prominently displayed at the Lounge entrance. Full bar and views of the golf course. Both inside and outdoors seating available.

I came here with a friend for brunch on Saturday, and we enjoyed ourselves. The view and ambiance were great! The food was delicious, although they did take a little long to bring our food out, but the hostess warned me beforehand that they were a little behind that day, so it wasnt a deal breaker. Id definitely come back! Parking: The parking lot is large, but you are sharing the lot with those at the golf course, so if you get there later in the morning, you may have to park towards the back of the lot.

So I live across the street from this place and never realized it was walking distance. We came to have brunch on Christmas Day and couldn t find many options until this one popped up, so that was convenient. I had two 12oz ipas ($9ea) and my partner had 2 mimosas 8oz ($11ea). We sat at the bar and were able to catch the football game and seating was open so there was no wait, not sure if it s typically like that or we got lucky but that was great. At the end of the bar they had a pool table which we played and we as complimentary. We decided to order food because the ambiance was great and the venue is rather nice. We ordered the following Spicy Tuna Poke Tacos - $18 Came with 3 very very small tacos. These were very delicious. 5/5 Chicken Nachos - $16 These didn t have much cheese, very greedy with the cheese, we tasted more tortilla chips than anything else. The cheese is a queso blanco nachos cheese. 2/5 Crispy Shrimp Tacos - $16 Came with 3 tacos. The tacos I felt lacked in flavor, they didn t add much sauce so the tacos were rather dry. The actual shrimp was great and they were stacked with shrimp which is rare. 3/5

We were there to celebrate a birthday. There were 17 of us , seated outside amongst beautiful surroundings. We all ordered alcohol, the drinks were excellent ! We all ordered an entree and heres what Ill say about the food . I ordered the sesame wok , steak with veggies and white rice . My sister ordered the same . The sauce over the steak and veggies was overwhelmingly salty so it was hard to enjoy the flavors of the steak or veggies. My sister agreed, too salty. A family member ordered the steak medium rare. It was cooked medium well. I guess I was expecting quality food & flavor for the prices charged for each entree. I wont go on because the best part of the night was the service. Melissa was fabulous! She should be promoted ! Our bill was close to $900. We wouldve been fine with that had the food been outstanding. Will I go back ? Probably not...

Preface with the fact weve come here for work twice a year for 25+ people and its always been good the last 4 years. Came with a party of 4 and was a complete different experience. Food was still good, but manager at the front seemed annoyed that we had even showed up. Said outdoor seating would be a 45 min wait, when there was a total of 5 tables occupied. After we ate we went for a walk across the pond and was met with an incredibly rude and power tripping security guard who told us to leave even though we had just ate. Pure unprofessionalism from him and best believe Im speaking to our CFO to no longer visit this place again for work.

I had a terrible experience here recently with the manager Brandon. I had a reservation for 15 guest on the patio. One of my guest did not receive his dish in a timely manner. After asking the waiter three times he eventually asked for the manager. To our surprise the manager was not interested in resolving the issue or providing any empathy or even basic customer service. Instead, he became confrontational and made excuses rather then trying to make it right. He didn t apologize and accused the guest of not ordering the dish in the first place. I was shocked at how aggressive and extremely defensive he became. He made no attempt to de-escalate the problem instead he was making it worse. I could see the tension escalating and I was horrified and shocked. I finally stood up and ask Brandon if I could speak to him on the side. I gave Brandon an out by removing him from the table. I noticed he was breathing heavy and his glasses were all fogged up. I tried to calm him and share some managerial advice. I reminded Brandon that he should not take things so personal and to remember he is here to provide customer service and help his team resolve issues. I asked him if he could just help my guest get his dish so we can move forward and enjoy the rest of the night. We mentioned we had reservations to return on 2/13 for 15 but we would cancel based on this experience. Brandon (ego) informed me that he didn t care because he had plenty of other guest that pay alit of money to be there and he would make more money off smaller parties then a large group. I love the outdoor dining option and the beautiful patio. The food is OK pretty basic but it was the ambiance and beautiful views that kept us coming back. Thr front house staff is fantastic. We love Claudia, Tanya and Rojolio. Unfortunately, we will not be back until Brandon is gone. We make it our priority to avoid hostile and thug environments. A leader should not let your ego get the best of you. You should lead by example keep your composure and behave responsibly and respectfully at all times. Teach your team to be solution oriented and always try to provide quality service. To the rest of the team - keep up the good work the property is spotless and the team works hard to provide excellent service and a safe environment. Hang in there, I am sure you are aware bad managers come and go. See you all soon.

Very sub-par food. Calamari tasted like it was fried at KFC, way too much batter. Calamari not fresh. My ribeye was thin and just quality of meat was bad. Asked for medium-rare and was over cooked. Everything lacked in flavor. For a $65 dollar steak, not worth it. Scallops were cooked ok but with ZERO flavor. The puree lacked also. Scenery was nice. Great food. Kids got grill cheese and pasta. Great service. Accommodated large party of 9 quickly. Nacho appitiser with meat was great. Steak and chiken where good. And shared amongst 2 adults and 2 kids. Nice view of San Gabriel Mountains and water when eating outside.

Came here to celebrate my daughters 20th bday, made reservations for 15 ppl for dinner and the restaurant was able to accommodate our party with no issues. There restaurant has a beautiful view on the hill overlooking the city lights, warmers outside to keep u warm and we sat next to the beautiful fireplace. This place is a hidden gem. Customers service and are waiters were very sweet and professional. We will definitely come here more often for celebrations.

This place has the best arnold palmer drink and club sandwich in the state. Service is awesome. The outside patio is very relaxing. Overall great value for your meal and you will enjoy a great experience dining at the RED.
