I ve been here twice now, and there have been lines both times. I really like that this is a popular place that the local community enjoys. I ve had both a baguette and a cheese danish, both of which have been delightful. My only criticism would be the lack of sitting space, but then again a lot of people are just here to buy their bread, and don t sit down.

I was so excited to try Crème Bakery and waited in line one Saturday to get baked goods and sandwiches. The woman who appeared to be the owner or manager was very friendly and exhibited excellent customer service and the decor and atmosphere was very nice. Unfortunately, the baguettes used for the sandwiches were extremely hard and inedible. It was a shame because the ingredients were high quality and the taste was very good but the bread was simply too chewy. Our jaws were literally sore afterwards from chewing so much. I ve eaten my share of baguette sandwiches in France but the bread was never this hard. The baked goods were good but not great and we attributed this to being on the dry side. As an avid baker who goes to great effort to turn out moist desserts, it always perplexes me as to why bakeries leave their baked goods out uncovered all day to dry out. The tops of the chocolate chip muffins were hard and the insides were dense and dry. The cookies were also hard and not moist at all. Perhaps I visited Crème Bakery on an off day and if I d spent $30-40, I wouldn t have been as disappointed, but for $80, my expectations were higher and unfortunately not met.

I go to Creme specifically for their fantastic sourdough loaves, which I, my family and friends just love.. the Kalamata olive, the pecan and cranberry, the rosemary, etc. Every once in awhile I give in to temptation and buy some of the pastries because I know how fresh and delicious they are! The only 4 star for the atmosphere is because the shop is small and can easily get crowded depending on the day and time making it difficult to check out all thats on display before its your turn to start ordering.

This is such a cute little shop ! Gives European vibes - it s cute and quaint and beware they are only open three days a week ! People know this because there s always a line out the door- the line moved quickly and they have enough workers inside to help keep it moving ! All the pastries and the sandwiches look lovely and inviting once you walk in . We ordered a cappuccino and some croissants - everything was pretty good - not the best I ve ever had but we still Enjoyed it!

This is a quaint and cozy bakery. All the baked goods look beautiful. When you walk in you feel like you are walking into a little shop in Europe. Unfortunately the blueberry muffin and coffee I ordered were disappointing. The muffin tasted more sweet than flavorful, and the drip coffee tasted like diner coffee. While waiting in line, the person in front of me, ordered a pastry based on the sign in front of it. The server corrected them saying it was a different pastry. I noticed the sign was placed slightly out of alignment with the correct pastry. When I pointed this out, I was told it was correct. They weren t interested in investigating the issue. Other than that the service was good. I probably wouldn t return on my own, but if a friend wanted to go there, I would be willing to give it another try.

You can t get a bad pastry here. It s not possible. I like the scones with banana and chocolate. The Gruyère and ham croissant is fire. Update for Xmas: well the panettone I bought there is actually a pandoro Fiasconaro on their website sells panettone the original way: with raisins and orange inside. Update after shopping there for a few months: some servers are really good. But a couple don t use gloves and touch almost anything to then touch your bread without washing their hands. Good selection of sweets and bread done the European way. Wish they had tables! Some pastry runs on the sweet side. They service however is impossible. Long long lines, and by 11am it s all sold out.

We got a large spread of various pastries and sandwiches for our office luncheon. The pastries were good (everyone agreed the best item was the banana cream tart) but there were many complaints about the sandwiches. The bread was incredibly tough like a hockey puck (even more so than your typical baguette texture), it hurts the roof of your mouth and strains your jaw when trying to chew through it. Several people couldnt eat them at all and had to fill up on pastries instead. The sandwiches were also pretty bland and dry, except for the Jambon Beurre and it was the most eaten. Overall a nice shop, but we would recommend going there for coffee and a scone, not to have lunch.

I personally think that everything I tried at this spot was okay, but nothing was spectacular. Maybe it was the fact that it had so much hype that it raised my expectations too much. But got two tarts, a cheese croissant, cookie and a scone so really covered a bunch of items. However nothing really stood out to me. I think the fruit tart was the best of the bunch, and fruit was very fresh. Also should mention that the staff were very kind, store was clean, things were fairly priced, and the line moved fast. I just did not find any item to really stand out to me.

Instantly became one of my favorite bakeries! Quality of all goods is way above par. Lovely atmosphere. Right when you enter, you are immediately hit with the amazing fragrance of freshly baked goods. On display, each baked good looks aesthetically please, that its really hard not to choose all of them. Dont worry, they taste just as good as they look, and smell! Staff is friendly, professional, and fast. Around 8-9 the line forms outside the cafe, so be prepared to queue up. Not many places can pull off the cafe vibes as natural as this place. Most places try, but doesnt feel genuine like this place. Wish there was more room to hangout, enjoy the good, and soak of the vibes up the place. Location is in the village area, so parking is available around. Although, it can get busy on weekends, or night time.

Wanted to write a review about this place for a long time ! Have to say I am thankful this place exists ! I normally come here for their different varieties of bread and pastries but we liked it so much we found out we could also order cake or a cake tart ! I believe anyone that has been here has at least stood in a line, it isn t horribly long as they are quite fast with multiple workers inside. I believe we also see the owner walking around to make sure people are happy and things are ok inside ! Food I normally come here for the Ham and cheese, and the vegan chocolate chip cookie(not many make vegan ones taste good) . My wife LOVES their almond croissant (make sure you go early or they sell out) They have so many selections, bread, you just have to go in and take a look yourself . I wouldn t have known this place existed unless I didn t drive around and see the line of people waiting to get in, and out. I can t wait to try some of the other items they have !

So here is the thing. I have to be blatantly honest. This bakery has a case full of what appear to be beautifully baked goods, in a cute shop, in charming downtown Claremont. So whats the problem? Looks are very deceiving. The pastries were so beautiful we couldnt wait to get home and brew a cup of coffee and try each one. To our massive disappointment, none were good. We mean, none. At best, the almond croissant gets 3 of 5. I am still baffled at how pretty the baked goods compared to tasting so bland. A total of 5 adult and teen tasters, who couldnt approve of even one pastry. The fruit tart crust to custard ratio must be improved. Frankly, it was like eating a thick piece of crust with a few pieces of fresh fruit. Just meh. The fruit, cheese, and almond Danish pictured are just blah.... and we mean blah... We also purchased a loaf of sourdough bread (not pictured), that was a bit stale and also lacked in flavor. $35 wasted as we threw out the baked goods. By far, we much rather go to Some Crust Bakery. In a blind taste test, Creme Bakery would lose to Ralphs bakery. Too bad .

Simply impeccable. From the pastries to the cakes to the breads to the sandwiches to the special order menu. Everything about Crème is so good. One of my favorites is the chocolate pecan pie they have in the fall/winter holiday season.

This is a close to a French bakery as you can get without a 10 hour flight. In these uncertain times this is truly a local business worth frequenting as my wife and I do twice a week. We live in Glendora and Claremont is a drive worth making. Dont let this truly remarkable bakery go by the wayside.

I had an almond croissant and it was good, but I asked if I could have it warm and they said they don t do that because they bake everything fresh everyday. Ok what does that have to do with me wanting to eat a hot croissant instead of a cold one? I also asked what was inside the croissant and they weren t sure.... whoever is selling your pastries should know what they re selling....

This boutique French bakery is located in Old Town Claremont and is usually busy especially on weekends and you cannot miss it because of the lines that stretches outside. You find most of the usual French pastries you ll find in other French bakeries, but the way they present it here makes the difference and the fact that you re in Old Town adds to the vibe of the place.

Creme bakery is becoming our weekly habit after shopping at the Clermont Farmers market. Theres so many things to choose from and they are all excellent. The masterpieces there are the croissants which are as good as you get in France. Also, dont skip the gingerbread which is actually a hidden gem. My picture is of the lemon scone, a crumbly real lemon glazed tastiness.

This place is amazing. Its the closest I have found to the better bakeries I found while visiting France. The customer service is wonderful. My only complaint is that the line can be long in the morning because so many people love this place. Great croissants, scones, fresh bread, baguettes, lunch sandwiches similar to what you find in France, and decent coffee. Whatever your favorite item you might find in a French bakery, you will find at Crème!

Ordered the best cake ever from Creme for my son s birthday. We all enjoyed! I may have to create a lot more special occasions so we can stop in for the same chocolate whipped cream ganache cake. In love. Thanks:)
