Had our anniversary dinner here. Amazing food and great service. It was a little loud, but we just figured that meant it had to be worth it...and it was! Grilled octopus was fire and the DIY bruschetta was to die for! Hubby got the Mafaldine, nice and savory. I got linguini fini and the scallops were like butter! The dessert was sooo good. It was the flourless cake with espresso mouse and chocolate ganache(can't remember its name) but so rich and yummy😋

Enjoyed dinner outside on the patio. It took a little longer than expected to be seated, but once we were seated, everything was perfection from beginning to end. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the best options. The pasta, salad, bread and dessert were all high quality ingredients and prepared expertly. The recommended Bananas Foster was especially delicious. Excellent experience.

Saw this recommended on yelp for good steak and decided to give this place a try. We had their NY steak with peppercorn crust and sauce. The sauce was not the best but the meat was cooked well. Also, we had their caprese, pizza, and eggplant parmesan all to our liking.
Anyway, ambiance is not bad but a little confined. Staff was polite and attentive.

The food is excellent. The service was slightly disappointing. At multiple times, wine glasses were empty and there was no attempt to refill glasses. Food also came out at different times. But as I started off, the food dishes were amazing!

Really nice restaurant amazing food. Everything we ordered was well done and tasted great.

Good mix of food to select from you will find something to enjoy. We went with the steak option as it just looked really good. Sides are individually purchased with the steaks, but they are bigger portions sonyou can share. Will be coming back to try other dishes as they had fresh made pasta and even seafood.

Drinks are great here too. They have Beer, wines, mixed drinks and signature cocktails. They serve a variety of alcohol so you should be able to get what you like. They have a bar you can sit at and order, but it is small so space is very limited.

Serving staff was great and quick to address your needs. It is a on the higher cost side.

Such a lovely time at @tuttimangia last night.

Appetizers included griilled octopus with marbled potatoes, castelvetrano olives, fennel, fresno chiles, with preserved lemon-erb vinaigrette and fresh yellowfin tuna crudo with sesame seed spice, burrata, eggplant caponata and a crostini.

These appetizers were hit and miss. The octopus texture was off and I felt it needed seasoning whereas the tuna had incredible texture but was severely over seasoned. I found myself scraping off the seasoning with my butter knife so I could actually taste the fish. The accompanying burrata and caponata were very good though and made up for the not so great octopus and over seasoned tuna.

On the bright side, my veal chop with bone marrow and mushrooms was phenomenal! Meat was seared and seasoned to absolute perfection. I was so impressed with my main course.

Wish I could say the same for the desserts. My server recommend the ricotta lemon cheesecake which surprisingly I didn't love. It had weird texture and was smothered in a sweet whipped cream. When I let my server know I didn't care for it he thoughtfully brought out the other dessert I was looking at, the bundino. It was okay. I appreciated the gesture greatly.

Overall, the star was the meat. The ambiance is lovely and my server was friendly. I'd love to go back and try some of the fish and pasta.

If you are in Claremont , a college town east of Los Angeles, tgis Italian restaurant is not worth missing out on . From the attentive service , ( thank you Tammy) to the ambiance to the food . If you love good Pasta or Nicely presented and tasty Seafood and meat tgis is the place. Want to thank both Tammy and manager Mr Moran for accommodating a special request of an off menu item for my pescatarian wife. The chef prepared a pollenta and shrimp dish . Great night for my friends visiting from New Hampshire.

What a place. I picked this based on location for a show I was attending and wow! Service was top notch, food was amazing. We had dessert only because the food was so yummy we had to see what else they had to offer. We had our teenage son with us who also approved.

Came here because they had Gluten free pasta and was able to tell they gave me regular by what type the substitute was supposed to be. They comped our sides and the pasta was little too hard due to them rushing the refire but I would be willing to try it again. The caprese app is unbelievably yummy and their steaks look good. Last night (07/09/24) my friends and family went to Tutti Mangia for a birthday and had a spectacular experience. Our server Kathy went above and beyond to help us celebrate and was the absolute best! We ended up with a few of the specials she had recommended and they were fabulous. The chefs certainly know what theyre doing. Nothing was under seasoned or overcooked. The halibut special of the night melted in your mouth, the pastas were fresh and the sauces so different than any other Italian place Ive been to before - you can tell they put a lot of thought into complimenting flavor profiles. We all ended up passing plates and forks around the table so everyone could try everything and not one person was disappointed. After dinner we all went with the trend and had different desserts and again passed the plates around because everything was so decadent we all wanted to try them. Truly a wonderful experience. We will certainly be back for more and soon! A huge thanks to Kathy for all her amazing suggestions and her incredible table side demeanor. 15/10 experience!!! This is our go to spot for date nights. The food is great and the service is top notch. If you need a wine recommendation, Kathy is the best. They have a great variety and Kathy will steer you in the right direction. Tutti is the best.

Dont get the burger and fries. Somehow, they made it oily yet dry, and the patty wasnt cooked. The fries were not quite finished, either. I thought the cornichons would at least be okay, but somehow this restaurant found the least fresh produce possible. I feel sick in more ways than one. There are much better restaurants nearby. If management is reading this, the service was great; this is 100% on the quality of the food.

Had a ribeye, seafood something and calamari, my steak was average. We ended up sitting outside in the heat which was uncomfortable. Our server had a smug attitude, i dont know why, he was not friendly and not welcoming. Overpriced for the quality I received.

The food and service were amazing. Spending $200 on two 6 oz filet mignons, three small shrimp, one baked potato with a pinch of bacon, sour cream, and parmesan cheese, one glass of wine and a fancy dessert was a lot. There are two seats in the restaurant you dont want the one by the waiters station and the one by the water, napkin and high chair stations. Why they even have seating within arms reach of all those things makes no sense for a high end restaurant. The bar is loud and the sound takes over the lower part of the restaurant. A half wall between the bar and the lower seating is needed to help with the ambiance of the lower level of the restaurant and the issue of the service stations. Loved the food but will not return unless the prices are made more reasonable for the portions. Sycamore in is a much better option for the same type of service and quality food. Kid-friendliness: Our waiter was very attentive and nice.

Stay away from the seafood, lobster was small, very overcooked and pricey, and the scallops were just decent, always concerning when they drown em in sauce. Steak was excellent, cant go wrong there. Make better cocktails Tutti and ill be a regular.

I have eaten at Tutti Mangia several times over the years and every time I have gone NOTHING has been lacking in quality of food or service. Everything is always impeccable. I d especially like to recognize my favorite server Karen. She s not only delightful & knowledgeable but she is the consummate professional. I always request a table in her area. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant. It is hands down my favorite and I ve dined at Michelin star restaurants that didn t quite measure up to Tutti Mangia!

This place does not honor reservations made online! You must provide credit card info when making a reservation, because they will charge you if you are late or no-show. I can accept this, but I cannot accept being called by the hostess hours before my reservation to inform me that despite me selecting indoor dining at the time of the reservation, they could only accommodate either outdoor or stool-seated dining near the bar at my selected time, or I could come an hour later than my reservation time. Whats the point of a reservation if not to hold the time that I selected? When you make a reservation, you expect a certain quality of dining experience; this isnt Olive Garden after all. The prices lead you to believe your dining experience will be exceptional, however it is anything but. From the dirty restrooms to the 45+ min lead time between appetizer and entree, to the unlit candle at the table: this is just another restaurant relying on its location in downtown Claremont to charge marked up prices that dont fit the quality of service and food. Disappointing to say the least.

Tutti Mangia is a great restaurant, but why they bother to subscribe to OpenTable is beyond me. once again OpenTable has thwarted my plans to have a fine dining experience. TM should either unsubscribe from open table or to Sue open table for misrepresentation, so I ll try to come back Tutti Mangia but not in the foreseeable future.

Tuttia Mangia has been a favorite of mine for many years. No matter what I order on the menu, the food has always been excellent. In addition to that, the service is never less than unparalleled. My favorite server is Alex, who always goes above and beyond expectations. I have had other servers and they too provide a memorable experience. When deciding where to dine for an event that is close to my heart, Tutti Mangia is without question a solid choice...they NEVER dissapoint.

I came here with my family on Sunday night, while it was an odd night with unexpected dinner rush, we were sat outside with our kids in the cold with a heater that barely provided any heat to half of the table. The service was good, our waiter was very kind and attentive to us despite having multiple tables to wait on; however my wife and I order a seafood platter that was labeled as shareable for two and what we got was a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT!! Barely half a lobster tail, 4 VERY TINY snow crab legs, 4 shrimp and 4 Oysters all for a whopping $90! Its a complete joke! What was worse was that all the adults ordered wine to enjoy with our meals and the amount of wine from the pour was COMPLETELY ABYSMAL with only 1/4 of our glasses being filled. The food for our kids was perfectly fine, as they got more than enough to eat, to the point where the adults had to pick from their plates to supplement the lack of food on our plate. All in all, the service was fine, but I dont recommend this restaurant at all as the quantity of food you get in comparison to the prices you pay is a joke, BTW our bill was over $400!!! (They even forced in 20% gratuity into the bill) You are better off eating somewhere else, HELL; your will get better quantity of food at the OLIVE GARDEN of all places!

Myself and my wife tried this restaurant for our 1 year anniversary in order to bring back some nostalgia from our honeymoon in Italy and... boy did it deliver! Our waitress, Camie was amazing and attentive. She was clearly busy but she never skipped a beat! I had the creakstone ribeye and it was cooked to perfection with great flavor paired with the black truffle butter. My wife had the branzino (sea bass) the meat was melt in your mouth tender. Overall the experience was great and definitely had an authentic Italian restaurant ambiance. We will definitely be back again!

I wanted to treat myself to something nice after a long weekend of call & a long day at work. I called in advance to see if there was a dress code because I was in sweat pants. I was told there was a business casual dress code but that I was welcome as I was. I was greeted & seated almost immediately. I was tempted to try the raw beef app but the server was not reassuring. Each time I asked a question about the preparation he attempted to explain & then shrugged it off saying he didn t eat raw beef. So I passed. I ended up ordering the sautéed spinach & grilled asparagus to accompany the Dry Aged Rib Chop that I requested medium-well. It was a bit more well, than medium but it was still great. The vegetable were unsurprisingly bland & I would have preferred a better cooked asparagus. For the price I paid, it could have been better but I would still recommend & return. The staff was great.

Tutto Mangia used to have the most amazing food with interesting and unique appetizers. My favorite was the lobster cakes which for some strange reason were removed from the menu. Their lasagna also used to be amazing, but now, for some reason, they stopped putting CHEESE in it!!! It used to be so good and I actually sent it back and ordered a steak instead. The filet was pretty good but I don t know that we ll be going back. Service is always great but their menu hacks are not working.

This was my very first visit to TUTTI MANGIA Italian Chophouse and it was a perfect experience, Good food, great atmosphere and great customer service. Eveyone there is very attentive, I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the area thats looking for good Italian Food, the place is very classy. The food is tasty and the plate presentation is very nice. I had the shimp scampi, by far this one is the best, and the calamari WOW!!, The drinks are delicious. TOP quality Restaurant shoutout to Lisa she was amazing explainining the menu and suggesting wines and food choices! she was amazing. GREAT SERVIE. They didnt have scampi on the menu and she told me she will make it happen and she did, I wish I can explain how good the food you have to experience yourself. Absolutely my favorite place for good italian food. I have found my local spot to get the best italina food. *** YOU MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS*** call ahead to see if they have tables this place is always busy. I have been at this establishment only once! It was during the Fourth of July celebration in 2021. The meal, that I have ordered, was quite delicious. Furthermore, there was ample of space, to sit down, especially on the outside. The waiter, who attended my table, was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Nevertheless, the prices were on the expensive side. So, I can recommend this place for people, who have some discretionary spending funds. Thus, when I have some discretionary funds available, I will definitely visit this establishment again!

This place identifies itself as fine dining , I suppose one can cal themselves whatever they wish. But others can see through their delusions. It is simple, over priced, regular tasting food. If one needs steak sauce for a steak. .. then the steak is begging to be cooked better. Tutiis steak definitely needs steak sauce. One is better off going to LA PRIME, it offers spectacular views of LA at comparable food prices to Tutti Mangia. Or ones money will be better spent at MOON SHADOWS at Malibu, comparable prices to TUTTI MANGIA, with excellent food with breath taking ocean views. Both of these places, LA PRIME AND MOON SHADOWS, will pamper each guest. There, one will know One is at a fine restaurant. Tutti Mangias wine list is begging for TLC and management is long over due enrollment at etiquette school. ( Jody needs to be the first one enrolled there)

Enjoyed dinner outside on the patio. It took a little longer than expected to be seated, but once we were seated, everything was perfection from beginning to end. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the best options. The pasta, salad, bread and dessert were all high quality ingredients and prepared expertly. The recommended Bananas Foster was especially delicious. Excellent experience.

Tutti Mangia is a gem of a restaurant. The best you will find in food, service and cocktails. The bartender Lisa is an artist with her cocktails. From presentation to taste, its like youre on vacation instantly. We always enjoy patronizing them. The food is delicious. Dont forget to ask what their specials are.

Indoor and outdoor dining. Loud restaurant, you have to talk over the music and dining noises. Was disappointed in the Minestrone...it was watery and the portion came in a large, but very shallow, bowl. Wish they had changed the oil as my Calamari was way too brown. Overall, the prices are on the steep side and I dont think the food was worth the prices they asked. Doubt if Ill return.

Kinda ruined my 66th birthday! Server was great but we asked for a regular table but was given a high top in the bar. I had a foot ingury & high top made the experience horrible my foot was so so swollen after. We made reservations 4 weeks earlier but it didn t matter to them. The bar was loud mainly the bartenders so not a great birthday/ Valentines experience! The worst was the drinks from the bar! They were pretty bad

Usually like this place, but this last time the hostess let multiple parties go ahead of us and has us wait an extra 30 minutes for no good reason :(. They didnt even apologize that they made us wait extra. They had us standing around until there was no one else waiting and gave us the worst table. Usually I love this place, but I felt so taken advantage of it doesnt make me want to go back.

Amazing service and food. We visited on a weekday for a birthday dinner. I love the slight taste of char on the grilled veggies. Octopus was also amazing! The shishito peppers were the best I have ever tasted.

Always enjoy this place for special occasions. Great service and friendly staff. Had the 16 Oz ribeye and was flavorful/cooked perfectly. Always order Italian dishes, but wanted something different and glad I tried. Really rounds out their menu selections providing a variety of food choices.

Nice atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, the braised short beef ribs were absolutely delicious. However I ordered a whole lobster tail and it tasted extremely fishy and not fresh. It also wasnt cleaned well... there was sand and little pebbles in the area between the meat and the shell. I gagged and almost threw up. I didnt spit it out because I was on a date and I didnt want to be rude and spit out food in front of her. After that my appetite was completely gone. The next day I had horrible gas, diarrhea, stomach pain, and nausea. Dont get the lobster tail!

My husband and I had a very nice dinner there last night. Celebrating our anniversary. The food nd drinks were delicious. Service was great. It was a Saturday night so it was very busy. So make a reservation is highly recommended.

I have been at this restaurant, during Fourth of July weekend! The meal, that I have ordered, was delicious. At the time, there was ample of space to sit down outside. So, I did, since that weekend, they had warm weather. I really enjoyed my experience, at this establishment. The working staff was courteous, friendly, and polite. Of course, prices were on the expensive side. So, I would recommend to visit this establishment, only when disposable cash is available! I will come back, but only, when I have more disposable cash.

This visit was in September but realized I missed posting my fine dining experience. The night before we had dined at a wonderful Italian Restaurant in Westlake Village and I wasnt sure I wanted Italian a second night in a row. However, my out of town guests chose Tutti Mangia, and I am so pleased they did. The restaurant amid COVID had a nice ambiance and the dining room was very warm and inviting. The service was on point, very attentive and hospitable. They had a great cocktail and fine wine list selection to choose from. The food was excellent. This was one of the very best Cesar salads Ive ever had served with white anchovy. The bread and olive oil was warm and delicious. I enjoyed the linguini fini which boasted of a grand garlic creme sauce, artisan pasta and plenty of shrimps and scallops. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the pasta was al dente, just the way I prefer it. Quite full and delighted with our meal and entree choices. I still went for my all time favorite dessert, Tiramisu. It was yummy and completed our lovely dining experience.

My husband and I had dinner last night and we were impressed by the service ,our waitress Cami was very helpful and very knowledgeable with the menu, food was superb desert was out of this world; I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for exceptional great foods, service and, an unforgettable dinning experience. I forgot to take pictures but the food was delicious. My husband ordered the Lasagna and said it was the best he ever had. Petite Filet Mignon and bone marrow was delicious as well. Desserts were yummy! It was a busy Saturday evening, just a bit loud but overall a great happy atmosphere.

Tutti Mangia is a fine dining Italian restaurant in Claremont, California. The dining room is casual. I had dinner there on a Saturday to celebrate my friend s birthday. Our waiter did not say anything about my friend s birthday. The Clams & Pancette and the Salumi Misto were average. The Prime Ribeye was nicely flavored. The Tiramisu was average. Overall, it is a good restaurant for a nice dinner in Claremont.

We have not been able to visit Tutti Mangia for almost two years what with the pandemic and other things. But we went for our anniversary last week. It was WONDERFUL! Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. There are fewer tables which greatly reduced noise. Cant wait to return!

Food was not as expected. When I go out to an upscale restaurant, I mostly look forward to having a piping hot meal for the amount of money spent; dish was served lukewarm. Tiramisu was extremely sweet and dense and not light tasting like a usual tiramisu.

This is my go-to restaurant for date night. The food is top notch, the wine list is incredible. Cocktails are delicious! Kathy is my favorite server. She always makes every meal feel special - which is huge! With two kids at home, it s not always easy to get away with my husband so when a server always make a quick mid week date special - well that s the best type of restaurant!

The food and service were great, as others have mentioned. The table at which we were sat was not. Our small table, *in the lobby*, was elevated with bar stools and crammed in the corner between the door, the host station, and folded table umbrellas. I thought it was a mistake, like they thought we were just ordering drinks. It was so cramped that from my seat I was able to reach across the walkway and hand a menu to the person maintaining the wait list. Some of the other tables outside were little better. Absolutely not worth the price, unless you are sat at a real table.

3 visits so far and all 3 times have been great. Pastas are so delicious and soft like nothing I ve ever had so full of flavor made in house. I think I would definitely record any pasta. I ve also had a salmon dish it was sweet and savory. Appetizers as well are tasty I really love their Bruschetta and calamari.

Dessert was fantastic, banana foster. We had a party of 6 and each of us ordered a different dessert, they were all small almost non shareable portions except for mine. That was amazing. Also sea bass from what I heard was delicious and my filet mignon was a bit over cooked but delicious nonetheless. Would definitely come back.

One of the best restaurant experiences my wife and have ever had. The craft cocktails were on point. Highly recommend the lobster cakes. Rib Chop was cooked perfectly. Tagliatelle pasta was delicious. Best mac and cheese EVER!! Maestros, Flemings, Ruths Chris, Meat Cellar dont even come close. You have to try the Bananas Foster dessert at least once in your life. We will definitely be back

They offer you pasta on the side, as if it comes w/the entree, yet charge $7 or was it 9 dollars extra....adds up after four people order the eggplant Parma. Will never be back. Clandestine charges are never appreciated, especially when nobody even ate the bland pasta. Half the decent presented wines arent even available on the wine list as well. Big disappointment when you order only to discover they are out...a little sticker stipulating not available cost next to nothing and would be helpful. Too many times there w/something a little problematic just enforced my decision never to return, even though they were one of the only late night, past 9 PM, establishments in Claremont.

What a rollercoaster of a dining experience. Came here with my wife to celebrate our seventh wedding anniversary. It was our first time. The food was very tasty and fresh. The garlic bread was light and perfectly crisp, and the soup was delicious... except they forgot to bring a spoon and it took quite a long time for it to arrive. My borsellini, while being a pretty meager portion, had a delicious lemon sage sauce and my wife s orecchiette was equally scrumptious. The server was nice, but the service itself was painfully slow. The manager came out to greet the table next to us without a mask on, not cool. All in all, given the current circumstances, wherein I d probably give a 3, or even a 2 star review, and in light of the salted caramel ice cream which nicely rounded out the meal, we decided on tremulous 4 stars... but you re on notice Tutti Mangia... straighten up and fly right.
