We are a neighborhood cafe specializing in carefully-made coffee & tea drinks and all-day brunch. We source and roast our own coffee and partner with local bakers, farmers, and food purveyors. In the evenings we become La Sabina Wine Bar where we pour natural wines. MillCross is open 7 days a week. La Sabina Wine Bar is open Tues-Fri until 9pm.
IN LOVE with this place. Visiting from Pittsburgh. Was looking for coffee and breakfast and found this place my first morning. I returned every morning and for lunch one day. Only had espresso drinks, but the coffee was delicious, I’m sure the pour over is also amazing.
Drinks: Maple pecan latte, orange vanilla latte, lavender sage latte, plain cappuccino, house made lemonade
Food: local lox toast, ricotta toast, saucy egg muffin, big focaccia Sammy
Everything was absolutely amazing! I don’t know that I had a favorite and it was hard to decide every time because so many things were appealing! Wish I could take this place back with me. It’s been a pleasure to have during my stay.

The Millcross is one of my go to cafes (4+ years) for breakfast/brunch in Culver City, as it does not deviate away from consistent excellence. Here’s the break down.
Environment:
The MillCross is welcoming to all, the employees are laidback and attentive. To dine-in, you must place your order at the counter, a number will be given to you. Vast amount of seating is offered now. Indoor seating can get cramped, as there are a handful of tables for 2-4people, additionally seating is offered at their counter. There are multiple seating areas offered outdoors (for 2-4 people) with shade provided via umbrellas.
Food & Drinks:
Here are some items that I can recommend. The chilaquiles are great and executed well, the mole adds a bit of sweetness which compliments the green and red salsa, while the over easy egg will calm any of the spicy elements from the sauces (which aren’t spicy, but do have great flavor). The croissant french toast is savory and sweet (not big portioned), which is complimented with their house made whipped cream, syrup, and fresh berries. Lastly, you cannot go wrong with the MC burrito. The matcha, lattes, drip coffee, and pour-overs are all great, the baristas are consistent.
Overall:
The MillCross offers great food with well sized portions (nothing too small nor too big). The stand outs (for me) are the chilaquiles and MC burrito. I have not seen any other spot in LA curate the chilaquiles as to how the Millcross does.
If you’ve read up to this point, I tend to leave a bit of crumbs to the readers. Free parking lot just behind the millcross, as well as residential parking. Coffee comes with free refills, just ask the barista. The salsa for the MC burrito is chefs kiss, honestly one of the top breakfast burritos out there, as it is soft and everything blends in well. Lastly, because this place is located in Culver City, it does tend to get pretty packed on weekdays 10am-1pm and especially during the weekend.

I ordered a lavender sage matcha latte with almond milk - loved it! You can really taste each flavor which some places can't get right when it comes to floral matcha drinks. It's a drink I'll come back for!
As a snack, I got their Ube macadamia cookie. Great pair with the lavender sage matcha. the cookie alone was good - super soft with a slight elastic texture like it had some mochi in it (not sure if it does), and the crunch that comes with the macadamia sets it off
My friend ordered a salad and said it was packed and filling.
The place has seating but the inside is small and can be challenging to get a table. Outside is an option but not that much bigger
Parking is either the small garage in the back, or residential street parking - I think they have street sweeping on some days though so be careful with that.

My husband and I have recently become passionate about exploring the coffee scene. No matter which city we find ourselves in while running errands, we always make it a point to visit a new coffee spot. Our latest adventure took us to Millcross in Culver City. This charming coffee bar not only offers expertly crafted coffee and delicious brunch options but also focuses on bringing communities together.
Millcross features both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. I opted for a hot cappuccino and a slice of cake, both of which were exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and were delighted with the experience. Millcross is definitely worth a visit!

I’m a little dissatisfied considering the good ratings this place has. However, compared to other small places I’ve been to, for example, dulce cafe, this place didn’t really reach that level of yummy. Cool for a one time thing but I wouldn’t come here again. We ordered the waffles with the matcha whip, raspberries, and some white cream. The waffles were soo on its own I’m ngl but the cream and whip and whatever was on top killed it for me. We had the grilled cheese which I felt was the best part of our time here but even then, I’ve made better grilled cheese so… we also ordered the birria burrito but that barely had any meet and I buy burritos from the street for like $8 yet they seem more full. Lastly, I got a regular matcha latte (iced) but I expected it to be sweeter since the latte versions usually are. My partner got the strawberry matcha one and they gave it to him with the strawberry powder right on top, they didn’t even mix it 😭. Overall 3/5 or 6/10 just because our total was $60 and again, I’ve been to places which total out to be $40 but is way yummier.

Overall, we loved both the food and beverages, and will definitely be returning. It is a great brunch spot in Culver City, but it is not going to be the fastest so make sure that you plan your time accordingly. We also enjoyed the music! Parking can be a little tough, they have a very small designated parking lot in the back and for weekend brunch the neighborhood street parking is an option, but it does fill up, so I would give yourself a few extra minutes to plan to search and then walk from your car. For weekend brunch, there is usually a line inside to order, but it moves pretty fast and there is a lot to look at as you are waiting. They have an assortment of birthday cards, bottles of wine, chocolates, and fun mugs in different retail areas. Iris was very helpful with what type of cheeses are on different dishes, and she gave a fantastic recommendation when I was feeling indecisive between a few different brunch items. The brunch starts at 7am, and we went with two different selections from the EGGS section of the menu. The BREAKFAST PLATE ($14.50) comes with farm eggs your way (we did scrambled), house potatoes, bacon or avocado, bub & grandmas sourdough toast with butter & jam. For the breakfast plate, a secret unlisted menu option - you can add cheese on top of the eggs. We were unimpressed with the bacon so maybe go with the avocado option instead. The potatoes were really good, and the sourdough bread was lightly toasted and came with both butter and jam. If you want salt and pepper, they have them on a cart by the door. It was a good size and will be a repeat order. The GREEN EGGS & ... ($14.50) comes with scrambled farm eggs, arugula & butter lettuce tossed in a green herb dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, and avocado. With black pepper, it has the perfect amount of kick. I loved it and it was a filling-healthy option. If it had ham as an add on, it would have been the full Dr. Seuss meal! I loved the oat milk hot latte that came in a cute black cup with saucer, and I wanted another it was so enjoyable. They call out your name for the coffee, and they bring your food to the number you are given when you order at the counter. They also have regular lemonade, and for a limited time you can get a strawberry lemonade with the syrup that they use for the strawberry matcha. For seating, they have a small amount of indoor seating that includes a bar with purse hooks, and they have plenty of dog-friendly metal tables and chairs outside of the restaurant. We were easily able to find seating at 11am, even though it was very busy.

The food is OK. But the wait was nearly an hour for a sandwich. The staff were standoffish and unfriendly. It s one of those order at the counter places. We tipped 20% but received no service after we ordered. We had to pick up our order at the bar area and then bus our own table after.

Unfortunately I have a complaint about the service. Like most places, they ask for a tip when you pay, and since I was dining in, I left a tip. I ordered a coffee and food, and got a number. I proceeded to sit down. Some time later, they come with my food, and I ask them if my coffee is coming. She told me that the coffee would be back up at the counter and they would have called my name. I was a bit annoyed because isn t the point of getting a number that they bring you your [full] order? Even at that point in time, I would have appreciated for her to offer to get it for me and bring it. Anyways, I went to get my coffee, and who knows how long it was waiting for me, but it was lukewarm and quickly turned cold two sips later. So, one annoyance. Second, I ate my food (which was okay), and continued sitting working on my laptop and having sat there for 1.5 hours, no one came by to pick up the plate or mug from the table. One would imagine that part of customer service is checking in on customers or at least picking up plates and cups that look empty, so that customers can be comfortable. isn t that also why a tip is for? For service?

Lot of white liberals hang out here, it thats your thing. Espresso and pastreys good but overprice. Hip enough for to be overprice but not hip enough to maybe run into a celebrity. You paying for atmorspheres. Good local place but I prefering other local cafes in Culver City. Parking: only maybe 5 free spots in back of behind. otherwise street parking not easy to find

Good food, but its kind of weird how they cant manage to hard boil eggs here . Thats an elementary procedure they refuse to do. The parking is yucky when this place is busy. The food is yummy, so its often busy. -- Kind of expensive Vegetarian options: Just tell them not to add bacon, beef, chicken, etc. Meat is listed as optional on many of their menu selections

Getting things right at this place is very difficult, from the cashier to the server and everything in between is a Hail Mary type of experience. 1. Cashier ignores the basic rules of customer service 2. Server with asinine attitude as he serves the food 3. Tip is assessed before the actual service is completed. 4. Can t get your pastry warmed if you already received it at your table 5. Bad atmosphere created by bad employees.

Milcross used to be our go to place for breakfast and brunch, but unfortunately I do not think I will be going back again. We had just ordered two of their tacos huevos Al pastor and one shakshouka with no cilantro for both and this is how our order came: 1. The lady that took our order only put in one order of the tacos huevos al pastor. She seemed awfully busy minded when I was ordering and was not focusing on the order I was trying to tell her. 2. There was cilantro in both dishes, in fact the amount of cilantro that was put in the tacos almost seemed double the amount that I usually see (seen from a friend s past order) 3. The tacos huevos al pastor always comes with a couple lime wedges or even one sometimes but there was none. 4. The avacados that were used in the tacos huevos al pastor were partially rotten AND they left the piece of the stem in there, which I painfully found out after biting into the taco expecting to taste taco but instead tasting the bitterness of a tree branch with a little hint of dirt. And this was not the first time they forgot to take the cilantro out. There have been times in the past that they forget to take it out or times where they do take it out but because the person taking our order was not well informed of the menu or just not interested in going to the kitchen to actually check, they forgot to take out a sauce that had cilantro in one of the dishes I order. I believe Milcross s food to be very good and I still do, but it seems like they are hitting their quality threshold when they get busy and for mistakes to happen mostly every time they get busy tells me that my order is not guaranteed to be done correctly and gives me absolutely no confidence that I will get my order how I ordered it. So with that I would rather not order from them again.

WARNING: Do not come here if you have any food allergies. My friend who is very allergic to peanuts tried ordering an item which did not state peanuts at all on the menu. She even said at the counter that she had a bad peanut allergy and to not put any peanuts in her food. She was told that the item would not come with any peanuts. Once the food came however, my friend had a bite only to discover that it did have peanuts resulting in a prompt visit to the hospital. Absolutely insane food safety negligence.

The store was dirty with dust and food crumbs everywhere. I ordered a mocha and waited while others who came later got their drinks first. The staff were chatting and not making my drink. When I asked about it, they realized they hadnt made it. An employee quickly put together a mocha using something already made, which had too much ice. When I asked for less ice, they threw out the drink and gave me a mocha in a dirty cup. The customer service was terrible.

It s almost embarrassing how many times I ve been here. I used to get my coffee here every single lunch break. Now that I don t work close no more I got a coffee bean subscription which is bringing my home made espresso to a whole new level. The house blend is excellent! I catch myself ordering a breakfast burrito every now and then. No potatoes, added mushrooms and sometimes when I feel fancy some bacon. Anyhow, I love this place! I can t wait for rainy season to sit inside slurping a hot bev and reading a book or something. The baristas are so friendly and chatty and make you feel so welcome said by a shy girl!!! the restroom is surprisingly so adorable. ohhh and the special events.. don t get me started. valentine s day was such a good memory! oh you gotta try a bagel toasted with cream cheese!!

We have been eyeing this place for some time now but its always busy. So finally for my sisters birthday, we went. It was still busy, parking was horrible but we really wanted to try it. We ordered the brioche egg burger, lawless French toast and local lox toast. For drinks, I had the chai latte (really good) and she had the nectar of the gods (not a fan). We agreed we both liked the egg burger, the sauce they used was yum! We also bought ube cake and pistachio sansrival, I dont know if they order it somewhere else or they make it there but both tasted very Filipino (how we make it - very ube-ey). Recommended it to other family members. Hopefully they try it. Will definitely come back.

Overall, I like these type of small, cozy European style cafes.

My friend and I were planning on visiting another cafe in the area when we noticed this one was jumping, so we stopped in. The place was small, so it was packed and a bit chaotic, which was fine and expected since we could see that from the street, plus its a cafe, not a restaurant, Lol. We ordered a cappuccino and vanilla latte pictured. They were okay, nothing extremely outstanding, but adequate. I dont know how I keep forgetting to take pics of the entire meal, but we had food too. I had the French toast, which was described as fluffy in the menu, which is the most important part of a French toast to me and... there was nothing at all fluffy about them. It was literally soggy and flat, which was extremely disappointing. The flavor wasnt that great either because it was very egg forward, and the presentations can use some work. I dont expect anything fancy, but the French toast was cut into pieces and kind of thrown all over the place with some slices of bananas and strawberries in the corner. My friend had the green eggs. (I think thats what it was) she did enjoy it, but thought they brought her out a salad at first because it was covered in greens (I think arugula, but I could be wrong) and the eggs werent visible at first. We sat outside, it was a little cold and not all areas had heat lamps, but we survived and I did enjoy the view. Overall, I wouldnt go to this cafe again since its not very close to my neighborhood, but I wouldnt discourage anyone from going. Im a very particular person with finicky taste buds. Plus, I did enjoy the energy of the cafe.

Also I had the Old Fashioned Espresso once more and this time I took pictures before devouring everything. So good!!! (Multiple exclamations for my excitement to stop in here again - we love y all here. Thanks for being friendly / awesome!) Oops! It was so good, the MC Breakfast Burrito with bacon added, that I forgot to take a photo of it intact and outside of my belly. Incredible, same goes for the Old Fashioned iced coffee. We will be back again!

Love it! Super cute coffee shop/cafe. I tried their Lavender basil situation in my latte and it was delicious and unique. Definitely worth stopping by. Just be prepared for the line. But it goes pretty quick. Hope you enjoy!!

Meh. Hard to say much positive about the two meals Ive had here other than the decor. Very surprised to see it rated so highly. My BLT was incredibly mid with crumbled bacon bits clearly fried many hours ago. They forgot to put the omelette in my arugula and omelette dish...

I had been meaning to try this place since I moved within walking distance. The presence of an out-of-town guest provided the inspiration I needed. The al pastor tacos, shakshouka, oatmilk turmeric latte, and pistachio cake were all fiyah! The space is tight and the self-order line can be long, but the gastronomical experience makes the effort worthwhile. M-m good!

This place is SO great! The music, vibe, people & food are amazing! I got the chicken mole burrito is outta this world!! You asked for more. They said they make it in house. Highly recommend. The rose latte is also delicious. Such a vibe wish my house had this vibe. Lol

Incredibly horrible service. Racist servers prioritized white people over everyone else explicitly.

Excellent! Fantastic food and coffee! Love their espresso drinks (happy they will serve them in real cups, not throw away cups), love their food (the mushroom tacos with homemade tortillas are amazing), very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and super friendly and easy going staff. Also, I bought one of the pricey Goodnow Farms chocolate bars at the counter and it was worth it!

I am loving the La Sabina evening mode for Millcross. The Farmers Market Board was the ideal accompaniment to my end-of-summer rosé. It had a range of fresh veggies and fruits spanning the board from savory to sweet, crunchy and soft.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I came to study and it was such a vibe. I walked into a very nice ambience of incenses and dim lighting with great music! The food was delicious and the staff were very kind to me. Will DEFINITELY be coming back! :)

The coffee here is good but I just think it should be noted that there are other places close by (GGET, Super Domestic, The Boy and the Bear, the Conservatory, Copenhagen for pastry) with as good or better coffee that don t make you feel like a jerk for walking in with a baby. I was at a yoga class next door with my baby and decided to drop in for a coffee. I went in the side door and stood at the bar, baby on my hip, and got my wallet out of the bag balanced on the chair, hoping to order. There were three male baristas there- all glanced at me. Not one of them mentioned that I needed to order at the other side of the counter or offered to help me, even though I was clearly trying to get their attention and had my wallet and credit card out. One of them finally mentioned it to another patron who walked in the door (a man) and I happened to overhear. I packed up my diaper bag, yoga mat, and baby one handed, schlepped over to the other side, and placed my order. When they brought it out, I had trouble getting the lid and sleeve on one handed. I had to try to get one of their attention to help me and explain why I needed help (baby on one hip) to put the sleeve on before they would give me the time of day. Finally one of them helped me. The coffee was good, but the service was really lacking. I m not asking for special treatment - I d just like a barebones level of service and not to be made to feel unwelcome and like I was a nuisance for bringing my baby with me to get a take out coffee.

I love the food here much more than coffee. It is kind of light roasted. I wish they have dark roasted. Every time I pass by west side, I stop by and grab food. So far everything tastes great!

An ok joint, typical hipster prices ($8 latte) but it gets a 3/5 stars for one main thing; they play their morning becomes eclectic spew at non-conversational levels. It literally dominates everything. Food

Extremely delicious breakfast - full of flavor. Grade A coffee and matcha. Solid indoor/outdoor seating options but seats fill up fast on weekends.

Great vibe, good food, and quick service. I d give 4.5 stars if I could. There is a lot of seating, but it s mostly for 2-3 people. We had a party of 4, and there was only one spot that could accommodate us comfortably and we were lucky to snag it. It is pretty crowded inside, but it s got a good vibe and fun decor. Everything we ordered was good. The croissant French toast was SO GOOD and I would definitely order it again-highly recommend. We also ordered the mc breakfast burrito, La bomba breakfast sandwich, breakfast tacos, and lemon waffle, but the lawless croissant French toast was the crowd favorite.

Walked in and the menus are on a stand near the door. The menus were dirty/sticky/covered in coffee drips. I definitely needed to wash my hands after holding those. The wait staff was friendly and answered my questions. Ordered a brioche egg burger. The burger was tasty, I loved the red spicy sauce that they put on it. It gave the burger a nice light kick. On top it comes with arugula, cheese, and avocado. My avocado still had a little ending attached to it as you can see in the photo (on the left hand side). The bun wasnt my favorite but it was still a tasty burger overall. I wanted to add bacon, but $2.50 just seemed a bit expensive for probably the two pieces of bacon that they wouldve given me cut in half to fit on the bun. In addition, I ordered the chai tea latte. The chai wasnt a very strong flavor. It was very light and definitely on the creamy side (which I didnt mind). I just wish the chai had a bit of a stronger taste. I would come back and try the saucy egg McMuffin as I had a bite of my friends and it was pretty delicious.

I recently had an amazing breakfast experience at this charming brunch spot. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend this place for a fantastic breakfast or brunch!

It seems that nowhere in LA knows how to do lattes strong enough that they dont just taste like milk. Well, MillCross knows. If you want excellent coffee taste, go here. Been here almost three years, and its still the best coffee, at least in West LA, maybe even wider. Their minty cubano, their maple pecan latte, their mocha... its all really, really good, and the owners are amazingly friendly. Parking: They have access to some covered spots in behind the store off Tilden. On weekdays theyre full, but theres usually spots available on weekends

We tried a few of the items, but everything tasted high quality, because I felt full and satiated most of the day, despite the smaller portions compared to other locations. I thought food tasted great on top, of course it costs more than other locations, but the food is well done and service is exceptional

Giving this place a two star out of generosity. We went in for the first time and asked a barista (female w brown hair) how seating worked and she had a snarky attitude. The food is overpriced and mid, we got a strawberry smoothie bowl and the consistent was like melted ice cream. We also order a hand squeezed OJ, we assumed it would be brought to our table like the smoothie bowl because we weren t told anything else. After 25 min of waiting, we went in to check and it had been sitting on the counter this whole time waiting to be picked up. Definitely wouldn t have been an issue if someone had told us about it from the start. Anyway, super underwhelming and wouldn t recommend. The only thing that was decent from our experience was the croissant we ordered which makes sense because it s probably not made in house.

Culver City has become an urban center to enjoy. On an afternoon walk, I happened to find Millcross Coffee Bar, a delightful coffee house. The quality of coffee is superb, and after 4 pm they serve wines. I did not have food, but they have to offer looks very interesting. My potatoes and rosemary scone was delicious.

I went on a date here as it was recommended by a good friend of mine as a nice breakfast joint. I ordered one of the French toasts and my date got a berry bowl. We also shared the berry matcha drink. Overall, the toast was too hard and not the most enjoyable french toast I had ever had. The berry bowl was quite good, but also nothing was truly special about it. I had high hopes for the matcha drink but even that wasnt too exciting. The combination of matcha and berry did not work well for me and just tasted too milky and not enough like a tea.

to us: we go the gluten free waffle along with some nice little drinks. The coffee is about average and not worth mentioning about. The food on the other hand is pretty solid. to others: This place is packed so i guess that speaks of its popularity, give it a shot to owners: one of the few waffles I had that tasted good despite being a non gluten place. Your shop is a treasure!

You know what s worse than being bummed out about a place? Being bummed out about a place YOU LOVE! I ve been going to MC for literal years now, enjoyed yummy meals, brought my friends and work colleagues over and ordered meals for home occasions and more. Today, I got a chai latte that was really too spicy to drink (I ve tried, I promise but my throat didn t simply agree). So I had to send it back and politely asked to re-do it. But after some time it wasn t ready and we d finished our meal so I thought to just let the barista know to please make it to-go when it was ready. And what I ve got was a bit of a passive-aggressive response (and no, my drink wasn t ready even after that). I felt super embarrassed and hurt to be told off that way in front of the packed bar I was just trying to get my drink I PAID GOOD MONEY for. I understand sometimes the bar gets really crazy busy with tons of orders and requests from clients and I m truly happy to see them busy and sought-after. But even so that is not a good excuse to underperform on such a simple request especially if YOU made the drink wrong, sorry. Super bummed because I love the place so wasn t really expecting this kind of treatment :( won t be back I guess.

My mother and I were very curious about this place and tried it out. I hate to say but the only thing good about it was the Mexican Mocha. Very smooth and a good blend of spice. We ordered the Lox toast and the Shakshuka but unfortunately it was way too salty we couldn t even finish it. Disappointing.

Funky coffee/breakfast/dinner spot. We went for a latte and got the rice pudding to snack on. The lattes are good. They have in house syrups that are nice, but a little more subtle on flavor. It s a fun atmosphere with plenty of seating. At night it definitely turns into more of a casual dinner spot. The music, and general ambiance, get a little louder - so this might not be the best late night work spot if that s what you re looking for.
